"He was going to be screened for psychosis... He's on sertraline that is an anxiety med..." And he struggled with homicidal thoughts until he gave in? I've googled this before when I suffered psychosis and homocidal thoughts when I was taking sertraline, and there was one girl who got off on an insanity plea for her homicidal thoughts on setraline and others have shared their experiences of homicidal thoughts on sertraline, but its not big enough symptom to be on the bottle as its not mass reported or anything ig?

But after I made the connection I got on a different med and the homicidal thoughts stopped. I still have delusions but I've always been that way and avoided thoughts well, but I'm not losing touch like I was when I had Psychosis. It's a serious concern; watch out for dark thoughts on Sertraline.

I watched a true crime doc yesterday (I know it’s terrible but I was so curious) about a 19 year old, Brian Cohee, boy murdering a homeless man, Warren Barnes. He did awful things to that man and all I could think about was “where was God?” This boy was born without empathy & the ability to love. That seems like a death sentence. If God made us with intent then why does he deprive some people the ability to love and feel? I know you don’t have the answers to everything and I still love God regardless but ughhhh it just drives me crazy when I think about it.

God does not create anyone incapable of Love. All people are born from Love to Love. Someone who cannot empathize may have a very different understanding of love and how it effects their life, but they are certainly not incapable of experiencing it and definitely not exempt from other things and people loving them. (The sky and the sea love us all. The humming molecules that make up the Earth and the Universe love us ALL. No one gets out of that.)

As for empathy, that is a different question. To that one and to the question of why this death could happen, you are correct I don't have all the answers. I can hypothesize but it would be to the benefit of no one. I am not familiar with this exact case so I won't pretend to know more than I do about these two men's lives but all I'll say is that it sounds like these were both Brothers and Neighbors of ours whom we neglected to love and watch out for in the way that is our responsibility.
