I was reading DunMeshi and was so confused by this phrase that I decided to look it up

(Do correct me if you think this isn’t accurate cuz I just used google)

But I find it frankly hilarious that Chilchuck is using slang from various parts of the British Isles out of nowhere in the last volume??

(I’ve now had someone explain to me that apparently it’s not uncommon for certain uncommon types of informal Japanese to be translated as slang from specific areas, typically around Britain, in English)

First of all I’d alr seen people jokingly headcanoning him as Irish on here (which was an idea I absolutely love)

ALSO I come from a part of the UK where I’m very familiar with the term ‘git’ but had never heard of a version with an e and I also had no idea it meant the same as ‘bastard’

(I have considered that this could just be the regular meaning of the word ‘get’ but I thought it wouldn’t grammatically make sense here so I assumed it was slang esp cuz he would totally call someone a git)

Anyways I’ve checked other translations and it’s not the same so I find it so funny that this one (which I’m pretty sure is the official English translation) included it

Currently watching RT stream while sketching, im not gonna lie. I want to thank rt specifically for making me constantly learning and sketching during his stream. His stream is very helping for my very 'constantly in the head, spinning boats.' brain. Fallout has been enjoyable to watch, and i have been finding other ( spiff ) to watch more fallout ( spiff fallout 4 and new vegas exploits ) and its been really fun ( any rt and spiff enjoyer out there? )

Theres been a whisper of a wanderer, stiches around his head and face, a grey strand can be seen around his dark hair, a sign of an old timer. Thought looked younger than most farmers in Mojave. Some says, he has been frozen in time. Escaped from Big Mountain, stich his own brains back by some kind of machinery. Thought as the myth speaks for his scars, not alot pays him mind, he can be found gambling in casinos of Mojave. To meet him playing blackjack is a chance of luck.

Theres been a whisper of a ghoul, thought many might not believe you that he is one when you ask around, as he is simple worried man for alot of people. When you met him in a empty road. He will smile and ask the same thing that he ask everyone else, "Know any Daniel?" He seems to not get more specific about the name, talking with him more shows he doesnt mind the wrong people he find, it is also evidence on how he become a ghoul, he walks a long road without any radiation suit. Thought, if you manage to find the Daniel he asked, he will be waiting with plenty of caps. You can only hope the best for him, to find this 'Daniel' before he goes feral.

With no exaggeration this has been the most significant development in any media I've watched this year, because Season 2 of the House of the Dragon has been mid af.

Look at this beautiful example of internal consistency and continuity that not only pays homage to the original show but expands upon it. Marvel at how this show made for kids and grown-up fans directly addresses its canon fairy mpreg (and this is the second time they casually bring up how Cosmo was the one who gave birth to Peri).

Meanwhile HOTD S2 makes up a new Targaryen ancestor that never existed, and gets its own history wrong by centuries, struggles with deciding if they want the modern or historical definition of 'bastard' among other things.

I'm literally more excited for Foop/Irep appearing in the new FOP show than Daemon getting out of the goddamn haunted castle (it's been 4 weeks. 4 weeks of Luigi's Mansion!)

Day 7 of drawing saw characters till im famous or i run out, Day 7: Lynn saw 3, Strahm saw 5, John saw 2

I will admit this was tough, but i like how they turned out, well expect john and Strahm’s hair, other then that i like them a lot.
