Haven't posted in a bit... work's been keeping me busy lol, so here's a Hopper update! He is still a good boi :v took him to the petsmart to see some distant cousins and show him to my coworkers the other day. He has learned he likes grapes. We're overdo for bunny pics! Hopper has been EXTRA adorable lately, must by happy that his wife is done with her post-spay quarentine! They've both been really enjoying this cardboard haunted house we got them from #petsmart , as you can see, it is slowly disintigrating before our eyes! Joyce tried on a harness for the first time today! So we took her and Hopper downstairs to rpam for a bit. Hopper just wanted to go back upstairs and Joyce was mainly interested on investigating the different carpet XD keep swiping for a Joyce-butt, a cuddle bun (where you can already see how much bigger Joyce is getting compared to Hopper!), and a short video of Hopper grooming his wife, before he catches me filming and tries to pretend he wasn't doing anything lmao. The 10 best photos from Hopper's field trip! And just for the record, he jumped up into that old potted plant on his own, i didn't put him there, i can't imagine it was particularly comfy but he did it more than once so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i have no idea lol. The weather was nice and both @xxkeys_studioxx and i had off from work so we decided to take Hopper on a field trip to the back yard! We went out early-ish in the morning, so it was warm and sunny but the pavement wasn't too hot yet. Here are some of the video snippets i took, gonna upload some photos by themselves in a bit. As you can see he was a bit unsure at first, kept hopping into our laps and up on our shoulders (which for him usually means "i'd like to go back upstairs now") but i wanted him to give it a fair shot and in no time he was loving it! It's weird, everything i've read or watched about rabbits talk about how they're not into heights, bond with them on the ground, they're at most gonna hop up onto a couch or bed with you if they really like you. Hopper LOVES to be tall. He loves kicking the cats out of their tree and being king of the castle. We always make sure to stay close and keep a good eye on him when he's in the tree (accidents happen and he's not quite as graceful as the cats) but he gets up and down all the levels all by himself with absolutely no issues! Keep in mind the tallest platform is about 5'6" tall, a couple inches taller than i am! Bunny Insta!! Help! I've been googling around all day trying to see if I could figure out what breed or mix Hopper might be, but i really don't know :/ When I adopted him, i was just told he is a "dwarf rabbit" but that could be indicative of a couple different breeds, as well as just a rabbit that has the dwarfism gene, so I wanted to see if I could find a better answer, but seeing as how he's my first rabbit, i don't really have as much knowledge of different breeds that I feel confident in making a call? I've included some pictures that show off his color, bodyshape, headshape, etc, that should all be good indicators of what breed he might be. He's around 6-9 months old, pretty small, maybe 3 or 4 lbs, mostly white with light brown spots and splotches. I FEEL like he's either a polish/britannia petite or a mini rex?
