100 Homestuck Headcanons Of Mine

Both Meulin and Nepeta say “hewwo” unironically. They can also replicate the OwO and UwU faces near perfectly.

Roxy loves Five Nights At Freddie’s, Undertale, and Minecraft.

The Striders and Lalondes have a group Minecraft server.

One time Roxy convinced Rose to play Halo with her, Dirk, and Dave. That was when they found out Rose was surprisingly good at it, and Fortnite.

The trolls all love Animal Crossing

Actually, everyone loves Animal Crossing.

The Mayor is the only one who had Raymond. That is because Dave gave him Raymond.

Everyone else wants Raymond.

Vriska stabbed someone for Raymond. She didn’t get Raymond.

The Harley-English-Egbert-Crocker family have a group Minecraft server, and that’s it.

They tend to spend their free time seeing what whacky things they can alchemize.

At one point they managed to alchemize Captain America’s shield. No one is sure how, but it works.

Roxy and Dirk can both eat whole ghost peppers. Rose and Dave both hate spicy food.

Jane doesn’t mind spicy things but prefers sweet stuff instead. John and Jake are fine with a little spice but not as much as Roxy and Dirk. Jade can’t have anything spicy or she will get extremely sick.

Spicy peppers, and peppers in general, are lethal to trolls, due to the capsicum in them. The first time Karkat and Kanaya saw Dirk and Roxy eating peppers they freaked out.

Dirk and Roxy have occasional competitions to see who can eat the most peppers in a minute. It’s hilarious.

Karkat learned the Alternia equivalent of an Earth ukulele before the game. He remembers one song from it and occasionally borrows Jake’s ukulele to play it when he’s sad.

Jake, Jade, Jane, and John have every musical instrument you could name, and some you couldn’t.

Jake can play the ukulele and bagpipes. Jane can play piano and keytar. Alongside bass, Jade can play the trumpet and otamatone. John can play guitar and saxophone.

Dirk can play the otamatone. That’s it.

Roxy keeps requesting that Jade alchemize cats. She has about 30 by now.

Roxy gave Dave a cat. He named him Skittles, and claims it’s completely ironic.

Dirk also has a cat, named Twilight Sparkle

Rose has a cat named Cthulhu.

Jake has a parrot named Indiana Jones

Jade now has a corgi named Thor.

John managed to get Jade to help him alchemize a dragon. It’s name is Fluffernutter.

Jane is a master at anything kitchen-y. Jake and John both burn water. Jade can cook stuff but prefers take out.

Roxy knows how to make grilled cheese and soup really well, and Dirk is good with a grill but that’s it.

Rose makes the best hot chocolate, tea, and coffee. Any drink you want, she can make. She can’t cook anything though.

Alternatively, Kanaya is an excellent cook but thinks that mixing Dr. Pepper, Sprite, and Faygo together is good.

Kanaya has mixed every soda the kids could find together before. Dirk paid John $30 to drink it. John did.

One time John used the Mayor’s cuteness to get Jane to bake him a cake. Dave found out and was pissed.

Dave convinced Rose to knit the mayor a sweater.

The mayor loves Doritos. He always gets the last one in the bag.

Kanaya loves mixing different types of one kind of food or drink. She has mixed all the candy in the house, much to the delight of most everyone, has mixed all the soda (it now lives in the back of the fridge for when they play truth or dare) and has mixed all the cereal in the house, much to the irritation of Roxy and Rose.

Dave ate a handful of Kanaya’s cereal mix because Dirk said he wouldn’t.

Trolls don’t have grey skin, they have grey fur.

Said fur poofs up when the trolls are scared as a defense mechanism, like a cat. But instead of being fluffy, it’s spiky and sharp. Trying to punch a fluffed up troll ends badly.

If you mix Faygo and sopor slime you get the troll equivalent of weed.

Calliope found archery and axe-throwing, and is wonderful at both.

Dave convinced Rose to knit a sweater for the Mayor.

The beta trolls ancestors can change their size.

The Grand Highblood and the Condesce shifted to a larger size permanently to intimidate other trolls.

Some don’t use it as much, or at all, like the Dolorosa, the Signless, or Neophyte Redglare.

Dualscar uses it to ease travel or to win fights, and will grow to extreme sizes so he can get through the water faster. It’s also ten times easier to sink ships.

The Psiionic couldn’t use the power once he became the Helmsman.

Darkleer uses it to grow smaller, so he can work on the small, delicate parts of his inventions.

Carapacians grow weed as a crop. For them, it’s their main source of food. For humans, it’s weed. It’s poisonous to trolls.

Sea dwellers’ lusii die more frequently (possibly due to the eldritch being at the bottom of the ocean), so they started letting older sea dwellers adopt sea dwellers that aren’t really old enough to survive without a lusus.

How many sweeps a troll is can be equated to human years, but when compared to other blood castes it becomes very skewed. A sweep equals roughly two human years, but different blood castes view this differently. Rust bloods, bronze bloods, and gold bloods all live fairly short lives, so 7 sweeps is roughly half their life span. Lime bloods and jade bloods all view 7 sweeps as being a bit like their early twenties. Teal and cerulean bloods would consider 7 sweeps to be roughly 13 or 14. Cobalt and purple bloods would see 7 sweeps as maybe being 6 or 7. Violet and fuschia bloods live for thousands of years, so legally and when comparing life experience to other fuschia/violet bloods, 7 sweeps is basically a very young toddler. This is just how each caste views age internally, given that they have different lifespans. 7 sweeps is roughly 13 or 14 in human years. This is explained badly but it’s also an alien concept put into English.

Teal and cerulean bloods have the closest lifespan to humans.

Dealing with eldritch beings shortens your lifespan because of the toll it takes on your body. This means that if Rose never reached godtier she would have died earlier than she was supposed to. This also means that if Eridan wasn’t chainsawed in half he probably would have had the lifespan of a purple blood or blueblood.

An ahab crosshairs or whatever can be really deadly in certain situations, but outside of that it’s basically useless.

The one time Dave met Kankri, he decided to put all of Mindless Self Indulgence’s songs on shuffle and play whatever came on first to Kankri. It was ‘Stupid MF’. Kankri flipped his shit and Dave is no longer allowed near him.

Meenah turned it into a game to see who could get the loudest reaction from Kankri by playing an MSI song. So far the winners have been 1. Vriska with ‘Faggot’, 2. Cronus with ‘Bitches’, and 3. Meenah with “Fuck Machine’. Honorable mentions include ‘Get It Up’, ‘Big Poppa’, and ‘Dickface’.

The honorable mentions change constantly

The game is ridiculously easy to win, given that most MSI songs are A) about sex, B) have slurs in them, C) are just really offensive in general, or D) all of the above.

To win the game you record Kankri’s reaction to the song and upload it to a forum on pesterchum.

Kankri is unaware there is a game.

Cronus repeatedly hits on everyone he meets. There are two people who he’s stopped flirting with, though.

The first one is Vriska. The first time he flirted with her she kicked him in the balls. The next time she stabbed him. He stopped trying after that.

The other one is John. He kept comparing Cronus to people from late 20th century movies with greasers in them.

Roxy loves riot grrrl bands.

Roxy, Sollux, John, and Karkat started a coding club. Roxy and Sollux help Karkat and John get better at coding, and also challenge each other to break into more and more ridiculous places.

At one point, using the codes that let Roxy and Dirk talk to Jake and Jane, Roxy and Sollux were able to hack into different government websites in different universes.

This includes the Pentagon, the FBI, and the CIA. They figured out how to get news live from the other universes, so occasionally they invite their friends over and watch a different world panic.

They end up doing internet troll stuff once in the websites. They’ll leave things equating to “aliens from another universe were here” and shit. They’ll make it so every time the website is open the screen turns pink or red and blue.

One time they left a picture of a message in Alternian. When the feds decoded the message, it just said “2ollux and Roxy were here. 2ucker2.”

One time they replaced all the photos of people with badly photoshopped versions of the photos where all the faces had been replaced by either Nic Cage’s face or Danny Devito’s face.

When they aren’t breaking into government websites, Roxy and Sollux will set up firewalls for the other to try and get past.

Aradia and Federico bleached Eridan’s hair while he slept, and cut it short. They also put pink bows on his horns. Just because.

Because Sollux can hear voices of the imminently deceased/is basically half dead, and Aradia has a strong connection to death, they were able to manipulate this so they could communicate telepathically. It takes focus, but they can do it.

Dirk knows Japanese, and can understand Damara. He is the only one who can.

They have inside jokes about everyone they know

Vriska found 5 or 6 doomed versions of herself and brought them back to life. They live in a shared hive and use the fact that they are all various Vriskas to prank people to an extreme. The only one who know whats happening outside of them is Terezi, because A) seer, and B) the one who gave John the list of things to do was brought back as well and told her.

Could I have a session analysis for a Taurpia Maid of Light, Gemnius Witch of Hope, Caniborn Page of Rage, Libza Rogue of Mind, Virsci Sylph of Life, Scorgo Heir of Space, Caprimini Prince of Doom, Pilo Mage of Heart, Leus Bard of Breath, Aquacen Thief of Blood, Arittarius Seer of Void, and a Sagirist Knight of Time?

First big fella! Here we go!

First off: Time and Space? Bingo! In fact this is one of the most stable Time and Space players so far! Usually we get Knights who hide from their aspects or... destroyer classes :p

Maid of Light (Bronze sign, Dersite): Your session will be negatively affected by a force of Light. Ironically this may just mean that you be extremely unlucky when things need to be more fortunate. Hence why the Maid of Light is supposed to create more luck and fortune with their great power.

Witch of Hope (Gold sign, Prospitan): Your players hope to win... Hope! Given the previous classpect, its likely that your players are aware that the odds are really not in their favor, and feel rather upset about it. It’s the Witch’s job to regulate these hope levels so people don’t feel so trash.

Page of Rage (Lime sign, Dersite): Your session will WIN.... Rage... Almost the exact opposite of what you guys seem to want <:B. However! Rage often represents truth, or is at least associated with it. When you win your session you’ll win true insight and the truth of your life story, even if it doesn’t sound very glamorous.

Rogue of Mind (Teal sign, Dersite): Your session’s greatest resource will be Mind. You’ll all be great at working together as a group! Your Rogue will make sure that every idea is used to its absolute fullest and is polished to a shine.

Sylph of Life (Jade sign, Prospitan): Your session will be positively affected by a force of Life. An outside force of healing and betterment (oftentimes simply another Life player/npc) will arrive to help you out.

Heir of Space (Blue sign, Prospitan): Your session is ultimately about Space, meaning creation, the endless expanse of a story, and physical space. It’s likely a lot of creation is going to happen in your session, however since Space is often associated with loneliness, your players may feel lonely even if they’re around tons of people. A special and unfortunate kind of disconnection.

Prince of Doom (Purple sign, Dersite): Your session has too much Doom. Fits in with the Maid of Light classpect’s role. Your session is going to be riddled with unlucky br8ks and likely quite a few deaths. The Prince must use what are effectively Life powers in order to combat this and break a few rules.

Mage of Heart (Fuschia sign, Prospitan): Your session’s lifeblood will be Heart. Even if this doesn’t involve romance like it did for Meulin, it does kind of fit with the other classpects. The loneliness that the Heir of Space indicates that you will be disconnected, but still able to hold your own when you guys are alone. The Rogue of Mind indicates that while Heart will permeate the session, your real aspect to focus on should be Mind, and this permeation might distract you from being mindful. Similar to the alpha trolls session of a Mage of Heart and a Knight of Mind. You have more heart, but need to focus more on Mind.

Bard of Breath (Olive sign, Prospitan): Your session’s greatest challenge will be Breath. I see this mostly in the sense that you are all too detached from one another, and while you are okay with being separate, you’re too separate for Skaia’s liking. This can be connected to the Heir of Space again. Your session is about a lot of unique people but not many that know how to plan things together efficiently.

Thief of Blood (Violet sign, Dersite): Your session will have Blood taken from it. Given how disconnected this session sounds, its likely this will be your session’s “low point”. Your doomed timeline, your horrorstuck, whatever you call it when your last sliver of connection to one another is cut, nothing would stop you from hurting one another, intentionally or not.

Seer of Void (Rust sign, Dersite): Your session will attempt to reach their goal with... nothing. Think of it like the Fistkind strife specibus. Sure, it’s literally nothing, but its pretty damn effective isnt it? You guys will mostly be roughing it for your session, brute forcing and being solo. At least until you realize that you should be using your brains, together.

Knight of Time (Indigo sign, Prospitan): Your session will lack Time. A classic classpect, belonging to one Dave “Coolguy” Strider. As seen in Homestuck, this involves a lot of countdowns and limited time to complete the actual game. You’ll be racing against the clock most of the time in this session.

Warnings: Don’t let the Thief steal your bonds. At least not too many, or else you won’t have any left! Blood and Mind are intensely linked in the way of cooperation, and you won’t be able to have your session cooperate properly. Likewise don’t let the Bard destroy and cut off all the friendships they have in a fit when they leave Blood into their true aspect of Breath. The Prince should have someone watching them, as they might go nuts eradicating Doom and replacing it with “betterment”. Don’t let the Heir of Space isolate themselves, either. Heirs inherit their personality from their aspects and so the Heir of Space may do this on instinct. The Page of Rage sounds a tad dangerous if they are allowed to grow strong and ends up resenting their friends, as Pages are extremely powerful and Rage is an awfully confusing aspect. Finally, the Witch of Hope has a lot of power under their belt. Treat them well and they won’t be a powerhouse with no filter.

Goodies: Not to toot my own horn but the Rogue of Mind will be a great asset! They’ll be the one to rise up and link everyone together, or at least helping them with not being so alone. The Mage of Heart, despite not exactly getting something out of their aspect, will be able to see the uniqueness and love in others, and hopefully will use that to help their friends. The Knight of Time weaponizing time as we’ve seen IN homestuck is a valuable classpect, able to make absolute bank and help out others who have passed (as long as the time loop is stable).

In summation this sounds like a very solid session! Rather focused on interpersonal relationships between players, much like the Alpha kids session. Still, it sounds pretty successful and even has a Knight to help out the Space player! You’re golden!

adding onto that other homestuck question u got, what are your hc's for their blood colors, if they were trolls? Some I see fitting blood colors that match w/ their zodiac, like Taka, but others don't really fit the blood color associated w/ theirs, like Byakuya being a Taurus = bronzeblood.

I’ve actually thought a bit about this before! From what I have heard, astrological signs aren’t as big a thing in Japan as they are in America, so there have been some times when I’ve looked at the official astrological signs for characters and just kinda had a flat “no” reaction to it. Like, Jotaro Kujo as an Aquarius? Absolutely. Jonathan Joestar as an Aries? Nope.

I think Byakuya would definitely be Violet. He has a massive superiority complex and definitely says stuff that sounds like things Eridan would say (I’m keeping THH as Alternia and GD as Beforus), like that comment he has in school mode that very unfortunately sounds like he’s talking about ethnic cleansing.

Due to their association with psychic powers, I could see Sayaka being a goldblood! Although some of her sprites remind me of Aradia, for some reason?

I’m kinda doing this out of order because Byakuya was the first one I thought of, but I’d always thought that Hina had a similar personality to Nepeta, or maybe closer to Meulin? Potentially because I think she’s also a Heart player. I think Chihiro’s friendship with Mondo is close to how Equius & Nepeta’s moirailegiance is, or maybe like how Meulin & Horuss are? But the Homespectrum section of the Homestuck wiki said that Olivebloods tends to have assassination type jobs which. I just. Did not remember. I gotta reread Homestuck, lol.

Okay, about Jadebloods: “Jade Signs are the zodiac’s caretakers. Intelligent and steady, they are excellent organizers and planners. They are detail-oriented, and can tend toward perfectionism, never satisfied with their endeavors. If you hire on a Jade Sign, be prepared for an excellent product, but also no peace until that project is flawless. They are fussy and particular, which can cause friction with those around them, although a Jade Sign holds no one to as high a standard as they hold themselves.”

So. That’s definitely Taka! And I think that it’s especially cool how that fits his canonical astrological sign, although his birth date was meant as a joke.

I’ve seen people drawing Taka before as Tealblood, and that does make a certain kind of sense since he is drawn to justice, but I think I would place this one as Kyouko. Being involved in legal-type stuff is apparently a, like, requirement of their blood type, and Kyouko went into being a detective because it runs in her family.

Celes is Cerulean: “Let’s not mince words: Blue Signs are the ones to watch. Of all the sign classes, they have the potential to do the most good, but also cause the worse harm. They can be incredibly effective, and also incredibly destructive. Tell a Blue Sign this and chances are they would agree with you. They are magnetic and adaptive, able to adjust how they present themselves in any situation. They have a mask for every occasion. They are obsessively dedicated, willing to throw themselves into work, play, and everything in between. Because of this, Blue Signs are highly valuable allies and friends. However, they are very selective when it comes to who they let into their inner circle. You could be best friends with a Blue Sign and still never truly know them. They are powerful and successful, but they also tend toward jealousy. They often resent those they see as more well-positioned than they are. A well-adjusted Blue Sign is fantastically competent and inspiring, but a Blue Sign at their worst is a force for chaos.”

I’m sure the comparison between Celes and Vriska has been drawn, but for whatever it’s worth, I think Ardata Carmia is a closer fit. I’d go into details, but that would constitute Hiveswap Friendsim spoilers so I won’t!

Reading about Indigo signs, I’m kind of surprised to say this but I think that may fit Hiro best. Excitable, changing their tastes in an instant (I was thinking of that time when he says something about like, “my character wasn’t fully developed then!”), tactless comments and flailing limbs (his jacket, oh god), digging their heels in to insist they did nothing wrong when they hurt peoples’ feelings.

I’m going to say flat-out that Junko is Fuschia because Meenah and HIC definitely fit Junko.

Makoto…if I opted to make him a troll instead of a human, would probably make him mutated blood, for his role as the leader and having uniting forces among his friend group and would probably be the one most likely to form bonds outside the boundaries of quadrants. But I could also see this fitting Mukuro, because there’s not much we know about her and Junko would absolutely hold her being a mutant over her head to manipulate her.

Now, for who I have left…. there’s

LeonChihiroMondo HifumiSakuraToko

I think Toko could maybe be Burgandy. She has a lot of self-esteem issues in regards to her looks that I think would translate well into the Homestuck ‘verse as self-esteem issues relating to the hemospectrum and her likelihood to be culled. I could also see Burgandy working well for Chihiro, because of its relationship to ghosts. I feel like I’ve seen people headcanon her as Bronzeblood, mostly so they can have a thing about Mondo as cerulean killing her and that…I just do not think is fair to compare Chihiro & Mondo’s relationship to that of Vriska & Tavros’. They have completely different contexts to them.

Alongside Makoto, I would actually probably make Sakura & Leon humans. I’m not sure where on the hemospectrum that they would fit. Maybe Leon would be Violet as well? He doesn’t really ring a lot of the same bells as Eridan, but I could see him being more like Cronus, maybe. Or even a bronzeblood as Rufioh: an equal opportunity himbo.

I would not put Mondo as a Purple blood at all. I know that’s common because “ohhhh big violent big scary!” but Mondo really isn’t a wildcard, I don’t read him as a Rage player and I don’t think he’d be that high up on the hemospectrum. I could see Junko fitting as the wildcard with ridiculously strong psychic powers who fucks with the timeline enough to ruin things for literally everybody. I know I already said she was Fuschia for being like Meenah or HIC, but I think the purple description fits her as well. Maybe she’d be the Gamzee (or Kurloz, given that he was capable at brainwashing) with Mukuro as the hands-off Fuschia blood, more like Feferi?

I saw someone draw Hifumi as bronzeblood before, but like Sakura and Leon I don’t really see anyone I think he really fits in terms of parallels. It’s something that I guess would make sense if you have Celes-as-Vriska but I’m not sure comparing him to Tavros is fair. So for the bronzeblood…I don’t know, I guess Mondo? I could see Mondo being Indigo, as he clearly has some kind of magnetism to be able to run that gang - he just wouldn’t be a particularly well-adjusted Indigoblood. He is careless - at least emotionally - and sometimes is unintentionally tactless. I would only put him as Bronze because Gundham isn’t in this game and he’s the closest we get to someone who might be able to commune with animals.

It was a lovely day in Rainbow Town, a town that existed and only exists in this fanfiction. On good side of town stands a apartment colored in dark saturated rainbow colors; Burgundy, Bronze, Gold, Lime, Olive, Jade, Teal, Cerulean, Blue, Purple, Violet and Fuchsia. There lived 12 grey aliens with dark saturated blood and candy corn colored horns.

Cronus Megido was a lowblood. He moved down the hemospectrum. He still is in fact a bad boy. No, he is not a cliche bloodswap and is not literally Damara. He dislikes sea dwellers (Damara and Latula). Instead of some 50s greaser dude he was a 80s bad boy. Him and Mituna are buds and his gf is Meenah.

Porrim Nitram also was a lowblood. She moved down The hemospectrum a bit. She is not the cliche bloodswap either. She sews and builds robots. She also takes care of animals (that’s a bronze thing). Her and Horuss were morails. Porrim was matesprites with Meulin.

Who was Horuss? Who is this guy? Seriously guys, who is he? Anyways he’s a gold blood and loves Mind honey and ponies

Aranea Vantas was a good ol Lime Blood who was accepted by her friends (except Latula). Those two girls HATED EACHOTHER. She loves to read the tales of lowblood heroines and likes to talk about these interesting stories to her friends.

Kankri Leijon was a smol boi who wore a olive sweater (made by Porrim) who hunted and kills bad humans at night. He thinks Aranea and Latula should fuck already. Same with Rufioh and Cronus

Rufioh Maryam (swapped with Porrim). Now he’s not the gay fashionista jadeblood. No. Cliche and boring. He was still a bad boy who had the hots for Meenah. He dislikes Cronus a lot. Latula always flirts with him but he could care less about the fuchsia queen.

Kurloz Pyrope was teal blood who didn’t have his mouth showed shut but didn’t speak much.

Meulin Serket was a violent blue blood. To keep her from killing her friends Kankri is her morail

Meenah Zahhak was a bad ass girl indeed. She and Cronus were gf and bf. however lately she has been falling for the vampire king Rufioh. Cronus is not really aware that the love of his life is falling for his enemy

Mituna Makara? Uses his psychic powers on Aranea. Does it all the time to fuck with her.

Damara Ampora? A nice sea dweller (who speaks both English and Japanese). She’s in love with Porrim but backed off because Meulin was in a relationship with her.

So to start things off, it should be blatant here that the two of you have almost NOTHING in common. and it would ABSOLUTELY depend on how the two of you met that would determine the dynamics between your relationship.

You each reside on different moons, so you would not know each other from dream flights, should either of you wake up early.

Of one thing, I can be for sure. You met on the battlefield, and not to be macabre but there were probably a lot of cadavers about you. The Royal Knight who’s very blade is death itself. The lowly Prince that kills everything in their wake. A formidable foe neither has ever had.

To be completely honest with you, I feel a pale relationship here. It is so blatantly obvious!! if you meet on the battlefield, it would be far too easy for your relationship to be black, and a love budding in the crossfire seems a bit too far off seeing as you are sooooo far apart on the blood caste. if you were to meet on the battlefield, it would be an uprising that the highbloods were losing. There would be no other way that a Fuchsia blood would be on the battlefield themselves. Not unless they were overconfident or had a death wish! This would be the final battle, where the champions of both sides are duking it out. Our bronzeblood would win, but would spare their royal foe. and instead of death, they would offer a new life learning what they did wrong, while the bronzeblood can see how things were from the side of the royals.
