The Warrior Cats project of the day is Nobody Like U by Almond Sun and cohosted by whiskey, with this cute thumbnail by HiusLanka! This colourful MAP is about the the young New Prophecy toms Brambleclaw, Hawkfrost, Stormfur, Ashfur, and Crowfeather and their feelings for Squirrelflight, Brook Where Small Fish Swim, Feathertail, and Leafpool! I love the little accessories some of the toms wear, and the vibrant colours of the mollies. The backgrounds and effects are really creative and cool, incorporation a scrapbook style!

The Tribe.
Here it is, folks. The Big Problem for any and all rewrites of Warriors. I have some rules going forward for all plots involving them.
The Clans are not, I repeat, NOT the 'saviors' of the Tribe. The Sharptooth issue is prophesied, but until the Midnight Trip cats come back, they are handling it fine. Feathertail wants to help them, not because they're helpless, but because helping others is just the right thing to do, she and a Tribe cat BOTH die fighting Sharptooth. In Outcast, they are asking for some help because the Clans are best with dealing with enemy groups. Do they need the help? Not entirely. But it's convenient, and they like the Clans. In Sign of the Moon, Jayfeather doesn't pick a new Stoneteller, he brings the WHOLE Tribe into the cave and a new one is picked by their ancestors. A random nowhere tree isn't going to destroy the Tribe, Tawnypelt is going there to help Shadowkit. Helping others to just help out is the right thing to do.
The Tribe is powerful in their own way. They are diplomatic, powerful hunters, with powerful spiritual connections and Medicine. Stonetellers (and the Snow-Watcher) live long lifespans (usually 20 years roughly) and it is EXTREMELY difficult for them to get sick. Stoneteller died as he was choosing his successor. Hollyleaf gets the feeling to go there, bringing a group with her. It is during a festival, and the Tribe is good natured (until Stoneteller dies. It kind of, uh... Brings the mood down)
They have systems that work for them that the Clans don't know about. They have stoneworking, major construction projects;, crystal work for the Tribe of Hollow Valley; snow construction, cold storage and snow tunnels for the Tribe of Snowy Peaks
No stereotypes. Nothing inspired by Native Americans. . Not only are the names going back to the 2 parter names (with nicknames beign used), there is no smearing of mud on their fur (aside from playful mud fights where everybody gets caked in it, or a silly prank). They're different, not uncivilized. Little Brook for instance, speaks "in an odd tone" because her father shoved her off a high rock when she was little. She had a brain injury that's caused epilepsy (set up for Shadowkit, since Little Brook and Tawnypelt are besties) and the damage has caused her to speak slower than average. No "tribal princess" crap.
Relationships with nature. Not only do the Tribes use their areas to their lifestyle, they get along with the local wildlife. Wolves and mountain lions are neutral to the Tribe and they get along. Sharptooth was an outlier and an unheard of event. Also, for The Sisters, the Tribe of Snowy Peaks is their origin place. The Tribes can speak to the earth, and see spirits at times.
The Tribe is kind, they do not tolerate cruelty at all. They're welcoming. When Stormfur and Little Brook fall in love, it is accepted and they say that Stormfur is more than welcome to stay. Does he fit in perfectly? No. But does he need to become "one of the Tribe"? No. They accept everyone, so long as that cat is not hurting anyone. They teach young cats (now called students as a class all together, and have many healers.
If I should add or take off anything else, please let me know. I want to make the Tribe into a peaceful, diplomatic society that sees kindness as a virtue and is powerful in its own right.
