These are two of Ava's alter-egos. One is her iteration as she appear like a Milk Carton Kid--with her themed wooden mask, which is, in her case, a coyote. The other is how she appears when she's crossed over into the Dark Garden.
Shock Gibson one of the earliest characters to hop on the superhero bandwagon after Superman.
Here in his first appearance in Speed Comics # 1, 1939 first from Brookwood Comics then taken over by Harvey Comics.
Created by Murice Rosenfield and Bill Scott, with art by Norman Fallon, almost three years later the villains would go from a green mad scientist Baron and his furry zombies to the Japanese, with art taken over by Bob Fujitani.
It's a webcomic created by David Perry. We focus on Mallory and her two friends Isaac and Saki on their child-sized adventures in their small hometown of Moonblush Village. Things however slowly become complicated as the three, and later more, kids start to learn the more messy and seemingly endless mysteries of the grown-up world as their curious, but precocious views of their world start to morph around them. That's where something like the Dreaming Tree comes in. When Mallory discovers it, she feels a strange unknown connection to the tree and must travel her way into Brookwood Forest to find out more about it and the answers relating to her family's past. The comic is written like a cartoon where arcs of the story is treated like seasons in an ongoing show. While it starts off light in comedy and writing, it soon delves into the ongoing story of the characters and the drama around them while still keeping a level of humor to balance it out. Mild language and violence ensue.
I'm trying to think of something non-cliche to put in here. Obviously it's probably Gravity Falls inspired and nothing wrong with that. I just have certain fears based on artstyle alone.
