GUYS I DID IT, I MADE A (SCUFFED) MINI RPG LES GOOOOO

With the power of sleep deprivation I did it! (Had a time limit.) it’s called CLEAN UP on itch.io if you want to try it out.

From this experience I learned I’m excited to make another game eventually. I would throw my copy of rpg maker MV down to the pits of hell but also go down there to get it. So many vid tutorials/webpages, crashes/resets, struggles with tile-sets since it requires

I can also say I can see how a couple of the RPG’s I’ve seen or loved were made on this engine. I wanna replay them to estimate how many event scripts and look at how the game was built ngl. It’s making my brain go brrr. Even with the negatives and the typical beginning of using a new tool, I wanna make a few other small games on it. There is bigger game ideas I have in mind for the future. I also wanna mess around in other game making systems like Godot or game maker (eh, if I wanted to sell anything I would have to advertise like shit & have a big-ass/decent following to fork over the $100 commercial license.)

I’ve used Ren;py for the GGJ and would make more stuff there too, I know a bit of python. Anyway enjoy if you check it out.

Yess, a duo buddy story. There would be def interesting conversations like the former grunt wondering what now? What are my ambitions in life? Should I even be allowed to do this? Do I deserve to still be around Pokémon & what not or can I improve and make up for what I’ve done. And the champions like yeah, look at me. And they comfort each other and stuff. This is assuming the grunt was a field grunt and not a administrative grunt. Idk, just throwing thoughts at it.

So I have this idea that's been stewing in my head for a couple months now.

I want to do a random little pokemon comic.

Following the life of two trainer. Who both used to be members of team rocket. But one broke away and became the region champion. And the other had to bail when the organization collapsed.

Now the former rocket grunt crashes with the champion as she travels to different regins.

Literally doodle. Sit in a room with a piece of paper and let your mind wander. Eventually your mind will doodle something. Warm up vids would be good for inspiration. Else, just draw circles, squares, eclipses, shapes. Shapes are the basis of all drawings so practicing those shapes are the best you can do and easy. I found myself doing circles while bored at my internship.

Anyone got any tips for someone who wants to draw, but just doesn’t have the energy to do so?

Hey digital artists, what canvas size do you typically do your pieces on?

Just curious if I'm hamstringing myself with the size canvas I use. For reference, I tend to work at 1500 px - 3000 px maximum (before I size it down for posting).

It was my nieces birthday few days ago.

And my brother put on Lilo & Stitch. Only the adults botherd to watch it.

But it made question some things.

First of all, the counsilwoman didnt seem aware about mosquitos and earth being protected but she mentioned in the end that she was there and meet Bubbles when earth was speared and got protected.

Secondly, Stitch was at the pound after being run over.

Why was he put there? Even if the pound was tasked to burn the body or something, they had thrown the seemingly roadkill with the live, adoptable dogs.

And then send in a six year old alone to look at the mangled body of a tiny dog.

And after find out he was alive, they just adopted him away instead of asking Nani and Lilo to wait to pick the dog up next day so they could do a check up so he doesn't just die from internal bleeding.

Thirdly, why would the counsilwoman fire Agent Pleakley before making sure they could pick them up quickly.

Didnt seem smart to fire the dude task of keeping a convicted criminal in check. Thats just asking for trouble as the criminal realise the agent no longer had any clearance/means to stop him from going berserk. After all he was already going to jail.

And then lastly, why was Gantu fired at the end of movie?

I get that he already had one mark from not being able to stop Stitch from escaping.

I can understand if was demoted but why fire a man that seemed to have so much respect? What was it he did that made immediate firing the result?

Did he use more force than he was allowed to? Was he seen by too many locals?

I love the movie, but these are stuff I always wonder about when watching it.

It's crazy how Natasha and Steve had more chemistry in one scene, the scene where Nat is talking about staying on the flying city when it falls, than Natasha and Bruce had in the entire movie

Sometimes I find that writing a very detailed timeline of what happened in a character's life truly helps in clearing some ideas and solidifying them, because while writing down the important dates in their lives, I get to also double check the events that are occuring in that particular period of time and decide if they are going to have a significant hand in what's happening or not.

Like, take the year I choose for Zaynab and Karam's birth (considerably late, considering how long Mephisto and Aranea had been together at that point, but I blame the elven's relatively low fertility for that): It was the same year in which Asmodeus became a God, so that made me decide for Aranea to escape Cania on her own volition and give birth alone because she was terrified that something could happen to them now that Asmodeus's power had increased and that had sent Mephisto into a frenzy.

Also, I am so immensely happy of having chosen to create characters with extremely long lives: it gives me PLENTY of time for them to have countless adventures and have all sorts of situations happening to them.

Now I am finishing Asra's bio (and I hope to be able to upload it tonight) and then I will be able to finish Hiraeth's as well.
