R: Which writers (fanfic or otherwise) do you consider the biggest influence on you and your writing?

The first to come to mind was immediately L1av. I read a ton during the early months of the pandemic (before I started taking writing seriously) but the one author's works I kept going back to was theirs. Their lawyer AU is extremely well written, their doctor/patient AU is my top five Stucky fics, and everything else is like a fresh breath of air on a fall morning. @buckmebxrnes I feel obligated to tag you in this ask, I adore your writing so much and appreciate what you've created for the fandom 💖💖

W: What is your favorite pairing to write? Favorite pairing to read?

Steve/Bucky is like my bread and butter. They never get old. Reading wise I'm also still mainly Steve/Bucky, but I have occasionally read Irondad (Tony & Peter), Bucky/Zemo, and a few poly pairings. There's a phenomenal Steve/Bucky/Loki longfic that I adore.

So @buckmebxrnes and @hopeless--geek were in my neck of the woods for Lobby Hero today and let me tell you: even despite the icky weather and subway weirdness and The Midtown Hordes, walking through Times Square and Hell’s Kitchen and taking fandom folks to lunch while they compared regional hot dog qualities and unironically said “those are fightin’ words, I will go Tiny Steve on your ass” was the most Blessed™ moment I had all day.

Definitely. Mostly when they’re wanking about a character or ship that they think is problematic that i objectively think is NOT. 

5) Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?*

idk if this is really fandom’s fault. but when i first saw Avengers (before i ever shipped stucky) i thought steve/tony had some steamy tention and i always thought they’d make a great love/hate-passion pairing (that burned hot and fast), but everytime i tried to read it the ship was always OOC boring, domestic stuff that i was just not into. and I was like WTF GUYS??? but now I know that that has to do with their history in the comics that completely goes over my head as a non comic reader. Still i find ships that are too fluffy kinda dull and somehow fandom made stony predominantly that way (gimme angst and drama guys. it’s what i live and breath for). AND in stony stories steve is always so different from how he is in the stand alone films that it def irks me.

6)Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?*

Li has made me ship a pairing i was previously ???? about. and yes, I am talking about hydra husbands. You started it with their mirror universe versions and now i’m all about their tragic fuckboy love story.

8)Have you received anon hate? What about?*

Once or twice. Like when I made steve rogers with a tear down his face in front of a bi flag and dedicated it to Remember Orlando and someone accused me of using the crisis for personal gain (somehow). 

Or when i did cap bunching trump after the election.
