Why is the red underline missing underline missing under LWJ's and XL's names in the mario kart comic? /gen q /love your stuff /have a nice day
Truthful Answer: I forgot to ink it and didn't want to rescan the comic.
Funny Answer: They never finished the course.

no because when i was watching the clips of my school president prom night on stage day 1 without subs, the group performance that was most fun to watch was Stand By Lor right? such great dance moves, very groovy, very traditional vibes in places (aka satang & ford's vocals).
BUT THEN I SAW THE SUBTITLED VERSION OF THAT PERFORMANCE I AM LOOSING MY MIND OMG do yourself a favor and watch this

narrative film editing is highkey the hardest kind of editing because everything is shot out of order and a huge part of the process is just sorting through chunks of footage, syncing audio, and figuring out where they good and watching them all the way through to see which takes are best and it takes forever. and if you're narrative editing for a small budget project you're probably also the one doing audio editing and finding music and making graphics and stuff. but it's also so rewarding to take the discordant pile of footage you're handed and making it into something that makes sense, and is maybe even good or compelling!
non-narrative editing such as youtube videos or educational content is easier on its face because it's generally recorded chronologically and in large chunks of dialogue with one or two people. but youtube editing can be a lot more fun than narrative editing because the style of the editor is foregrounded more, rather than narrative editing trying to be invisible, comedic youtube editing allows for jump cuts and graphics and silly sound effects that can make the process more engaging to edit and feel like less of a background role.

Watching gaming dudebros have full-on heart attacks and stroking out over tasm2 not winning or any of their basic ass shooting games and running around talking about how “nobody played Alan Wake 2 or BG3” when in fact a shitload of people did play both games and yall refuse to branch out and play other games and yall live in a bubble of just Fortnite, Cod, and other games just like it, and now you’re going out of your way to be unhinged individuals online about it instead of showing good sportsmanship and congratulating the amazing games and teams behind them that did win an award.

What’s the Milgram song you turn to when you’re in a mood and wanna feel better? Mine’s Backdraft.
As much as I love Haruka and his songs do help, something about Backdraft just makes me instantly feel better. (Also did you know there’s bongos in Backdraft?!)
What’s your favorite Milgram song that makes you feel better when in a mood?

in case anyone was wondering, my current comfort video on YouTube (aka the one I keep putting on when I don't know what else to watch) is the Polygon Unraveled video where Brian David Gilbert makes all the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild recipes
I have never played a Zelda game in my life and don't even have any interest in watching any Let's Plays
I just like BDG saying stuff like "the crab does not mix well with the carrot" and also the shot of him saying "oh my lord" while he holds a pancake with pieces of carrot in it by his mouth

Respect to the creators of Tattletail, they made an incredibly well done addition to the mascot horror genre, and had the good sense to not drag that shit out for 30 sequels and make the lore needlessly convoluted

I finished reading The Slob by Aron Beauregard today! Honestly I think I enjoyed it more than Cows. I couldn't tell you which book I generally like more though. Cows had more to say about lack of control and the choices someone might make when they finally get control, and about, well, the meat industry, and The Slob only had to say that. There can be really gross people sometimes. Also the ending, and I mean specifically the twist in the third- and second-to-last chapters, that sucked ass. I'd toss the chapters away, and focus on Vera and her recovery. Because what happened to her in the ending, that I did like. The way she found strength because of a mixtape, and managed to escape and come back to Daniel, very cheesy, not realistic, but very satisfying. Generally it was a good book and honestly I'd recommend it to anyone interested in extreme horror

Black ops? I don't understand what that means 😅 can you please explain it to me, I'm talking about the Frankenstein complex ff!
that's ok! it's short for "black operation(s)" which means like a covert/classified/secret mission done by a military/government organization. so our crew of the vision in 'frankenstein complex' are all on a covert mission doing... something classified.
there's no one exact reason for why the word 'black' is used in the phrase "black ops" but i like the idea that it comes from when classified documents are redacted, they're blacked out like this:
