Too many Binghe haters jumping into the askbox so I'm here to represent Binghe lovers.

Luo Binghe is a fun, interesting character who suffers a lot from shallow readings. Which is ironic considering the main source of tension in his relationship with Shen Qingqiu, the MC - who is originally a reader of the novel in which Luo Binghe is the protagonist - is that Shen Qingqiu keeps reading him shallowly / expecting him to act according to some or other character archetype, and thus misses that Binghe is a complex person with his own rich inner world. Basically it's meta-commentary on how readers do a disservice to characters by oversimplifying them to just a few traits and/or their role in the story (SVSSS in general is super meta) but unfortunately not a few ppl read the novel and fell into those same trappings ^^"

It also doesn't help that Shen Qingqiu is an unreliable af narrator, which leads to some people insisting that Luo Binghe forced him into a relationship or is manipulating him or w/e... This is about a guy who waxes poetics about Luo Binghe's unparalleled beauty every time he lays eyes on him. Like cmon, he just has a lot of internalized homophobia and shame to work through, give him a break!! And the so-called 'manipulation' is half the time Luo Binghe looking vaguely disappointed and Shen Qingqiu going "wow! I cannot believe the most beautiful man in the world whom i love so much that i died for him twice and whom im dating is making me have sex with him! Luo Binghe sure is a master of emotional manipulation!" and other half the time Luo Binghe super obviously whining for attention which - canonically, its in the text - makes it easier for Shen Qingqiu to be honest with him.

But enough salt; reasons why Binghe is a top blorbo go:

The narrative (which btw is a real force in this world) is trying to make him into an iron-fist Ruler Of Everything but his greatest aspiration in life is to be a househusband.

Was supposed to be a protagonist of an uber-straight harem novel but threw heterosexuality out the window within 3 interactions with MC. 

His love language is cooking! It's adorable but it'll also hurt u. (Binghe kept making three meals a day for Shen Qingqiu during the five years the latter was dead :) )

A big part of his arc is about learning to be vulnerable and show his sensitive side. (In general, one of the novel's major themes is toxic masculinity and how it harms ppl; I just particularly like how its explored with Binghe.)

A Good Boy (has been going through a corruption arc for 2/3rds of the novel yet it still took a cursed sword controlling his mind for him to start acting like the OG) 

Lotsa delicious fridge horror around him being the narrative's favorite chew toy. Things only ever get worse for him and reality will warp itself to deny him a chance to heal while the story is in progress, because he has a Role and that role is ‘a villainous protagonist’.

But also u get to cry about how he was saved in the end by the power of just one reader loving him and wanting better for him. (SVSSS is also a love letter to fandom/fanworks okay :] ) 

Very powerful but also a nervous wreck. Tripped and fell flat on his face when proposing to his boyfriend.

Just in general him being clingy and whiny and a mess is mega cute (me 🤝 Shen Qingqiu) 

This makes for a great contrast with him being a super OP nigh-unkillable demon lord btw. He could drown the world in blood but he's too busy crying Ghibli tears in his man’s lap. 

Also I need to mention he's extremely funny about being nigh-unkillable too. Like, *gets injured* Shen Qingqiu: "We can have sex once u r better 😔" Luo Binghe: *popping broken limbs back into place*: "I'm better! :D" 

Has a praise kink AND a masochistic streak. Apparently when Shen Qingqiu praises him and pats his head it's exciting, but when Shen Qingqiu scolds him and hits him that's also exciting. 

Has the peak character design detail in the form of a demon mark on his forehead. Built-in kissies target 🥰 Also when fanartists draw it in different shapes to represent his mood? Absolutely delightful 100/10 no notes <3

kung fu panda 4 review - spoiler free

it was solid, not as good as the first three movies, but the og triology set the bar so high even a 'not as good' movie is still a fun watch. The animation is beautiful and you get quite a bunch of awesome action scenes out of it

zhen is a lot more likable when not voiced by awkwafina (croatian dub saved me ✊️) but even that wont save her from her character being pretty bland. ironically the same criticism for her design could be applied for her character as well, not bad, likable enough, just fails to stand out and ive seen it done better a lot of times already

chameleon... oh boy... so much potential, such incredible built up, such luckluster execution... ill talk more abt her in spoiler section, but honestly she was the weakest link of the movie

dont get your hopes up for furious five, they only really exist as a cameo, what you will get is mr ping and li being a very married couple and personally if theres anything worth seeing the movie for its them (still im hoping for at least a short abt the furious five, cmon theyve been non existent since kfp 3)

the pacing was too fast, and there were too many comedic and too little serious moments, glad im not the only one that noticed

ive seen a lot of complaints about tai lung and other past villains not being in the movie enough, but honestly im happy for that bc its not their movie, they all had their own movies to shine and i really feared this movie would rely too much on them to carry the hype and im glad that wasnt the case. PLEASE stop asking film studios to spoonfeed you familiar content

you know, i believe the kfp movies are heavily carried by their villains. they're the ones that set the tone, bring the stakes, and not only are they a foe for po to defeat but represent his internal conflict (tai lung being self acceptance, shen being overcoming grief and kai being self discovery) so to have the villain be the movie's weakest spot is... not great at all

firsty, the chameleon is the first movie villain in the franchise to not have any beef with any of the main characters (like tai lung had with shifu, lord shen with po and kai with oogway) and that couldve been great, give us a villain that doesnt care about po or anyone else and is just doing their own thing, its something new and an unexplored territory, but then they do nothing with it.

what does she want? to rule the valley of peace? all of china? ok and then what? the city shes already rulling doesnt look like its doing too bad to me. why should i care about her being defeated? yeah shes mean, but where are the STAKES

and how does she reflect po's conflict? because its about accepting change and she's a chameleon? weak, that only connect on paper and only barely. is it how she was never accepted to train kung fu because of her size? that's such a lame motive. really? not a single kung fu place wanted to take you in for your size? in a franchise full of all the different characters of all different shapes and sizes being kung fu masters? yeah ok sure

what i did like about her is how they made her get her way through manipulation and intimidation. she's not strong, she's not a skilled fighter, she's not inherently scary, but she uses smoke and mirrors to intimidate people around her and manipulative tactics to get her henchmen to listen which ties nicely into her shapeshifting abilities, just wish theyve done more with it, show us how she spreads horror stories about herself, show us the influence she has over the townspeople, show us just how manipulative she is of zhen, hell have her be all kind and nice to her in moments to bait her to stay under her wing (yk as abusive parents do)

Who knows, not me because this is off the top of my head lol. Is he attending Hogwarts at the same time as harry? Sure, he'd be in Hufflepuff which is probably the only reason the whole school hasn't like stoned him for being who he is (🙃). Just for fun I would also ship him with Harry because, well, I love the world building around how Potters love. Shisui deserves that. Harry also deserves Shisui's brand of terrifyingly loyal devotion. Damn it to fucking hell, now I ship it and you just KNOW there's no Fics out there for this 🤡🤡🤡

Shisui, blind, wakes up at some point in HP canon. Maybe Harry finds him at the bottom of the lake when he's diving for the sword (seen some stuff about him and Regulus in the cave too), maybe he does that old classic 'dramatic crash-land in the middle of dinner at the great hall' trope, idk??? This one is super messy tho because the story gets tripped up by lots of stuff; Shisui angst about being here and not back in Narutoverse, why would Shisui (an emancipated assassin) stick around at a school in Scotland where he literally popped out of thin air instead of exploring the world etc, Shisui needing to acclimatise Shinobi to magical etc etc....

Shisui reincarnation into an actual canon character. Again, don't really like this as much as the first because, well, who's it gonna be? Regulus? That's neat but what about Harry's school years specifically? I think Shisui would make a very cool Blaise Zabini, whether from birth or not, because 1) black widow mother is both endeared and pleasantly surprised by son's support and 2) cool three-way culture clash between shinobi-"Japanese" & UK magical & Italian magical. Also I like fanon Blaise.

me ranting on the marvin triolgy i unironically love the marvin trilogy so much?? in trousers makes no sense. esp the end song/ begginning depends on what like version ur listening too. i heard this theory that in trousers is actually marvin being hypnotised by mendle in therapy and it would make sense!! like it'd explain the inaccuracies between it and falsettos. Like Trina having two kids, as mentioned in your lips and me, 'the oldest drink wine the baby's wailing', while in falsettos Jason is the only child known. And in you gotta die sometime when whizzer says i dont smoke but in whizzer going down marvin says 'he takes me in his arms and he lights *another* cigarette.' Then i love how they re used im breaking down from in trousers and using it in the 2016 revival of it. imo it fits better in falsettos because you go more in depth about both trina and whizzer charaters. In trousers musicals actually is so bloody good??? like every song is great, my favourite song is marvin's giddy seizures. It highlights marvin's suicidal attempts and how it doesn't get noticed unless he acts out., then the whole thing just sounds so good. i wish the lesbians got more screen time though because theyre so radicial. every scene they're in they just light the stage up. I love how all the charaters are wrote. I have saw that 2004 college production amd i find it hilarious that in the thrill of first love that marvin drops whizzer, i hope that was scripted because that seems like such a Marvin behaviour. at the same time it would also be funny if it wasnt. either way i like it. anyway in marvin at the physiatrist, in the og off brodway cast, mendle says its queer mr marvin which is so funny to me. on the topic of the og off brodway cast, i find it fun how chip zien played both marvin and mendle in in trousers and march of the falsettos/falsettoland. marvin in in trousers and mendle in MotF/falsettoland respectably. I genuinely adore everything about falsettos. the openeing number is such a good opening song, i dont think ive heard a better one. Then my father's a homo always makes me laugh and i just love how jason doesn't hate his father for being gay, its how his homosexuality tore the family apart. Then this had better come to a stop is such agood number. i love how in the og of brodway run of it the late again sounds like yapping. then the way that trina and whizzer sort of bond over marvin's abusive tendencies is heartbreaking. A tight knit family reprise is a great song again. then the chess game, marvin my guy you know you agreed to let whizzer win cmon now. i never wanted to love you is heartbreaking. and the games i play makes me violently sob. march of the falsettos made no sense to me until i realised that it was a song to remind you that acts of affection are NOT masculine at all. i honestly dont get why act one didnt end with i never wanted to love you, but father to son is heartwarming compared to the previous songs. i love the second act so much. marvin has done everything to change himself yet the love of his life is stripped away from him. it is like a reminder that due to his past actions he can never like fully be a good person. he changed. he did im not putting that down, but his actions can always haunt him.

What’s the hardest aspect of rewriting the series like between characters, or the world itself, or something like that

Honestly i wld say the hardest part is all the plot holes from the og show (coz i dont include the comics and WOW)

Some obvious ones are easier but some others are confusinggg. This is hard for me because other talented rewriters change a lot of the story or change the lore a lot for stuff to fit while ALSO changing major story beats. (Especially after season 4/5 which are all great and fun to read)

I wanted my own rewrite to keep as much of the feel and adventure of the og show. So for me the plot holes such as riven’s personality or bloom and sky’s multiple proposals are a little hard to patch because it affects the story a lot after The Pivotal Moment.

For example musa and riven have a lot of fights in the show because of the weird reset of riven’s personality but if we followed season 4, he wld have gotten better (slowly) and many of the plot points for riven and musa in future seasons wldnt happen, mainly the breakup.

Bloom and sky also have a whole of 2 proposals in 2 movies and yet they never get married and never act like a married couple. If i patched this up and allowed them to get married in season 4 for example, their future fights would seem so unbearably childish so i would have to think of more plot points for them with more “mature” fights.

Honestly i like that the winx are very much like slice of life (magic edition) but also always called upon to fight so i really want to keep a lot of it. Another one of my goals is to NOT ignore side characters like Roxy or Selina like cmon you added them already so might as well put em to use. Also i dont want any of the girls to breakup (yes i know breakups are a realistic part of life) but i always loved that every gorl had a different dynamic with their boyfriends (and their parents) and i liked the exploration for that kinda thing.

Another thing is the trix. They return like every other season and do i think its tacky? Yes but i love them too much to keep them away at this point. So another hard part is giving them the motivation to keep fighting the winx. Especially when they always lose. Icy has her motivation more or less with her whole season 8 backstory but Darcy and Stormy are blank slates. And knowing what we know about their characters, stormy can keep fighting through utter spite and hatred but darcy? I just dont feel like she would keep fighting a losing battle (esp after the ancestral witches are destroyed in the second movie)

So yeah those r a few things i think are hard about rewriting winx club (its mainly plot related coz otherwise i think its just akin to fun brainteasers)

Epic Yume Nikki - Dream Diary - Review

Five years ago a reboot of the cult classique video game Yume Nikki was released into the world at the tender age of zero. I have recently completed the game in its entirety, and today....... I share my thoughts.

I remember shatting myself when this game got announced on Steam. I got it on release day! However.... my laptop back then was not strong enough to run it - like I couldn't even move Madotsuki at all and my laptop was torching up. So, super duper sadly, I had to refund it......

And then.... I felt even more disappointed when the initial reviews came rolling in for the game on Steam and they were "Mixed" - and if you are familiar with Steam game reviews, if a game manages to have a mixed reception, it's p much synonymous to shit. I was shocked bro. So since then I was under the impression it was a failed reboot that didn't get the same feel as the original game, or just too new to be seen as Yume Nikki.

Fast forward to recently, when I figured I'd pick the game up again (and now able to play it since I've gotten a new laptop within the past 5 years) and.... I SERIOUSLY wish I didn't listen to those reviews, because now I get that they were probably the crowd that gets too repulsed by reboots/remakes that are too different from the original (Pokemon fans know what Im talking about). Like cmon guys it was made under the supervision of the dude who made the original Yume Nikki themselves

Anyways. HOLY shmoley. I'm serious. This game was SO GOOD!! The art... it was just BEAUTIFUL! In the reboot, you actually get to see Madotsuki's diary (which is full of sketches and concept art as you progress thru the game) and I went ahead and collected ALL the drawings because I love them so much.

I do remember being a little sad that there were less doors (I think?) compared to the original. Number World in the og was my favorite place because somehow seeing a really really long number on the floor was somewhat unsettling. Sadly it wasn't there, but the way the worlds were intertwined and different areas were referenced were SO genius.

Shout out to le new creature made by the original creator, thanks for throwing up blood everywhere when I played hot cross buns on my recorder I mean flute

Likewise with the worlds, there were only a few effects present in the game instead of 20+. Although I do like the Eye with Hand effect being remade into a Hamsa ^___^ I don't usually see that amulet in media which is awesomesauce. And it's fitting.

HONORABLE MENTIONS: Fisherman, cup boy at the mall filled with blood or juice who tripped and spilled everywhere, AND.....

Also, ironically, the scariest part of the game for me was after you make Mado stab the monster on the highway. and she wakes up. And your controls stop working and she stares at you. Yeah I shat myself bro not even gonna sugarcoat it.

Second scariest part was when the last achievement I had to get was to score 5000 POINTS ON SUPER NASU ARRGHH!! (i did it tho).

Ok so now IT'S ENDGAME TIME.

The game actually has two endings and neither of them are the same as the original. And I think I like that. The main ending... it gave Madotsuki more hope, i think - Like escaping those nightmares and getting back to living life happily. Even though the majority of the game is in the dreamworld, the further you progress, the messier Mado's room got and the more she woke up upset. Seeing the main ending made me happy for her :] I also liked the secret ending (had to look up how to do that one), I think this one implied more of an escapism ending. So not as much closure but yeah.

Overall, I really liked this game. It was a great homage to the original, had engaging puzzles, beautiful arts, and lovely OST remixes.

additional: i think his card should have cool effects!! especially spinning when his card is used or when he moves lanes. i think it'd be call if his card had a voice effect, and i think it'd be funny if there was a variant card where his card displayed a photo of atticus wearing a t-shirt with 'x-men' handwritten on it (a reference to his bio).

effect: maybe... by placing cards here, their power is doubled but their abilities are ineffective.

i do love the idea that his card moves people around. i read the Magik card and i love the idea of those two having synergy by him sending cards to limbo. the randomly makes sense as game design lmao, dont want him to be too good by being able to purposefully moving someone too often.

The Garden is weird (a side effect of me not explaining it super well ig, my bad) i love the idea here, since that makes sense for what The Garden does to other people (nulls psychics, magic, etc) but I do like the idea that it can revive a unit that was already defeated (but at half power) since that's what it does to Atticus when he dies. I don't know if that's too strong for marvel snap though, I've only played a little bit.

man i would love for him to have a cry lmao, its not cool or impressive or anything, it's just panic. The shirt is very good too, i think he'd easily have a few alternate arts since in my head he has:

His current look, the dorky-looking school teacher

His og New Mutants look from when he was a teenager

His new mask and jacket from The New Day (this is self-indulgent but cmon)

and then the comic sans shirt

i think my only thing is that his power should be lower, he's not a great fighter and i like the idea that he sets up illyana to do more damage then him.

the only idea for an atticus and illyana magic thing is a partner combo (which means that they can search each other and can be your commanders together) Illyana is red and black' which are the 'evil' colours and related to chaos and fighting, and Atticus is blue and white; community focused and academically minded (and a little bit annoying)

illyana sends people to limbo and deals damage, while atticus warps in and draws you cards and gains life. there's definitely more there but im still thinking through it lmao

So.... Thoughts on BAPC reboot? (Not couting lazy in space)

Personally... Kinda disappoiting, im ngl. Animation is very obviously GORGEOUS but like. It still felt... A little bland, something that i would NEVER say to the original. I dont really like comparing (tho lets be real the og IS MILESSSSSS BETTER) i guess ill just kinda try to criticize it on its own?

Is it watchable? Sure, its good if ur a first-comer actually, but. Idk. It just didnt feel like it was a show ABOUT Bee AND PUPPYCAT. its like he was just there, moving the plot forward and wasnt really a character. Seriously, there wasnt a single meaningful interaction he had with bee before her birthday, it was PAINFUL to watch.

Sorry, but that last moment where they chat about bee's favorite foods, colours, etc just... Didnt hit as hard! They BARELY KNOW EACHOTHER! or if they do, SHOW US THAT! they didnt exchange conversation at ALL besides some small talk, which was just SAD. Their dynamic was honestly SO GOOD!! THEY WERE BOTH 2 LAZY DOOFUSES WHO CARED ABOUT EACHOTHER, EVEN THOUGH THEY LOOK SO DIFFERENT!! THEY WERE PERFECT!! now Bee doesnt have a personality at all, and puppycat is just a sassy little bitch. I like sassy puppycat, but they forgor to give him any other features besides that💀💀💀

Thats probably what ruined it to me the most. Characters dont interact, we dont see them CARE FOR EACHOTHER, GROW A BOND TOGETHER, so how are we supposed to know they even ARE FRIENDS?

with bee and deckard its different cuz its stabilished they've already been friends but EVEN THEN, THEY ACTUALLY TALK TO EACHOTHER (tho not by that much either..) Bee and puppycat DO NOT INTERACT AS FRIENDS AT ALL. THEY ARE NOT FRIENDS HERE. WHICH JUST MAKES ME SO MADDDDDD OMG WHY DID YOU GUYS DO THIS!!! ALL FOR THE SAKE OF MAKING S1 SMALLER??? WHY!!!!!!!!!!

another thing is HOW FAST-PACED IT IS!! I enjoy me some fast paced shows but bap was literally the opposite of that!! Its supposed to be a relaxing, slow show! What happened with that? :( I wish i could say this doesnt affect the show BUT IT DOES. they really should've just reanimated it instead of rebooting it.

Also episode 3 is pretty good, but again, MISSED OPPORTUNITY FOR MORE INTERACTIONS WITH PUPPYCAT!! THEY HAD TO SHOVE DECKARD IN THE MIDDLE OF THEIR BONDING HUH.......

Reboot had a beautiful animation style, it explained WAY BETTER why bee was fired from Cat Café, while i liked the sudden hints og gave about bee being a robot/Cyborg and puppycat being the space outlaw, i think lore-wise was better explained here. It explained some plot holes the og had, and MORE TOAST!!!!!!! MORE CASS AND DECKARD INTERACTIONS!!! WE LOVE TO SEE IT!

Buuuttt, og had WAY more charm, personality, more interactions, better pacing, way funnier and felt more natural and "easy-going."

I just did some searching here in tumblr abt the rise of the brave tangled dragons and I’ve come up with a few headcannons. Also don’t get mad at me if these headcannons aren’t close to cannon at all or don’t fit yours, this is MY headcannons and it’s up to you wether or not you like it. Take it or leave it. Also it’s been awhile since I’ve watched any of these movies so bare with me 😭

If they were in the modern au:

- Jack would be a prankster/trouble kid and always has something up his sleeve

- literally does not take anything seriously

- people are annoyed on how carefree he is

- his behavior makes it look like he actually doesn’t care about anything or anyone

- in truth he actually does but he doesn’t know how to show or expresses his feelings

- is the clown friend.

- has some very complicated feelings abt him not finding who he is and he feels so out of place at school. He’s desperate to know who he is and tries everything he can catch with his hands to see if that thing sparks joy or thrill inside him or not.

- he has tried every single club or extracurricular activities in school, but it seems he can’t find anything he enjoys and he fears that if he doesn’t find one he won’t be able to survive the real world. So he just keeps on trying and experimenting over and over again.

-he has so many hobbies he just doesn’t know what to do with it.

- but he does enjoy skateboarding so that’s that!

- okay I don’t know why but Rapunzel seems like she’d be a manic pixie girl for some reason to me 😭 like cmon bro was locked up her entire childhood and most likely mother gothel allowed her unrestricted access to the internet (probably? I’m not sure, maybe Rapunzel would find a way to use the family computer without her mom noticing 💀)

- she definitely has mode mental scar from the internet don’t even think that’s impossible

- you and I both know the internet… it’s a dangerous place 😁

- and she would seem like a weird girl due to her being homeschooled and literally being so out of touch with the world so she wants to live up to every experience possible

- responsible teen and is quite mature for his age

- well respected and has a great reputation, but him being friends with the three makes it falter just a little

- his dad owns some company or something and his dad keeps pressuring him to be the greatest yatta yatta yatta which makes him uncomfortable with the amount of expectations and pressure laid upon him on an early age.

- does not want to be apart of it bc he thinks he’ll fuck it up

- loves his friends so much you have no idea

- Merida would be THE sport kid in school don’t even test me

- she absolutely excels in archery and is literally apart of the school’s archery program. She’s very passionate abt it and is the fewest of things that makes her feel alive

- does fencing too but she likes archery more

- her mom doesn’t approve of this at all but her dad is very supportive and just wants her to be happy

- incredibly loud! Has an extremely extroverted personality and is friends with mostly everyone

- her family owns a big business too and she’s the next in line to managing it, except she knew at a young age that she really doesn’t want to do it and wants to be successful at her own thing.

- she’s both scared and angry at her mom for always restricting her with nearly everything and making sure she’s the ‘perfect girl/daughter’, always putting her in etiquette classes and stuff like that

- her mom keeps insisting she’s doing this for her own good and that it will come handy in the future but Merida ain’t having it.

- she’s scared at her mom because one time Merida was practicing archery for a little too long and was late for an important meeting her family was attending to. Her mom was so angry that she burned her archery equipment right infront of Merida which fucked up her brain chemistry 💀

- her mom feels bad but they haven’t really discussed or communicated about this yet, so their both on a tense situation everytime their near each other.

- mommy issues go her

- SHE LISTENS TO MITSKI

- she loves her mom to the bottom of her heart, she really does. And deep down she is aware everything her mom is doing is for her sake and that she should listen to her atleast once. But she has been hurt beyond repair due to their past experiences with her mom and they both don’t seem to know how to fix it.

I finished Coromon again and the newer story overall was worth the replay. The more noticable differences show up a bit later on, and there's a LOT more visual improvements than I remember. I dont know if i like the newer story better tho. I also have some huge gripes w the villains, and apparently the main gripe stems from FALSE memories from the original story? I watched some playthrus of the old story to see the differences and theres whole ass scenes that I remember experiencing that just DID NOT happen??? 😭 Like idk if the devs did some smaller story updates between then and what I played or WHAT, but I have a memory of the titans of Velua talking w the Crimsonite titan down in the core of the planet and being like "why are you trying to take over our planet? why didnt u just ask to join us or ask for help?" (i distinctly remember a line from one of the titans saying "WHY didnt you just ASK us?" bc i thought it was so fucking funny) and I thought that they chose to let that new titan stay and the seven of them would work together. Not just killing 6v1 killing the fucker.

In the new story the Crimsonite titan doesnt even seem to EXIST as the Wubbonians exclusively just use the Crimsonite on their own and the only mention of a titan is some human npcs theorizing that there COULD be other titans for new elements. Chalchiu and her brothers are just like "ok girlies, time to wipe clean this world of every ounce of this Crimsonite shit. eradicate with EXTREME prejudice ♥️" and they just rebuild the whole ass world. Like HUH? What abt the Wubbonians? Your character even asks Chalchiu abt them and if they'll be ok w/out being exposed to their element and she's basically like "lmao too bad. not our worlds problem". like YEAH i GUESS thats true, but cmon man 😭 The Wubbonians in the new story dont even mention ANYTHING abt their home planet either. No Wubbonia. No Great Cataclym. Nothing. Its like the story took a hard pivot from "these aliens are looking for a new home and are trying to claim this one bc they and their titan are desperate and not thinking very rationally or ethically abt it" to "yeah these guys r just pure evil now and are here for galactic conquest" or sm and then at the very end and post game u get some hints that MAYBE something else is going on.

Epescially now that the devs changed it from "dark magic" to an actual element called "Crimsonite", it makes even MORE sense to follow the story where the Wubbonians are just a people who are desperately searching for a new home because their home world is either in or rapidly approaching an apocalypse. And how maybe out of the desperation for survival, their titan poured all of its stat points into charisma in order to persuade and brainwash everyone and everything it can.

Also i lowkey kinda liked how the Wubbonians in the og story like... didnt really do anything? I liked how they didnt even try to stop you in Ixqun. You expected a huge fight and they just... stand there. Point and laugh at you. Theyre far too busy staring at Crimsonite rocks and daydreaming abt how they won and that they finally saved their world. Standing there watching their titan do all the work, and subsequently get their ass kicked and STILL do nothing. Like yes kings, go, give us nothing. Just like how your titan gives up and accepts death immediately after being defeated.

Glorious 11/10 I think about these a lot

both the Mandalorian and clone armor? With the added cape/shawl combo? Exquisite. The Jedi Amor too was a great look but too bad war made him lose braincells and started thinking it was a better idea to wear less armor in battle and give Cody more heart attacks

I have to say I am a fan of the mullet, a really big fan. He has that going for him for nearly most of his time with Anakin and that is a long time to have a mullet. I guess that’s what happens when you suddenly have to raise a child at 25 and you have your midlife crisis (literally)

His snow oufit 9/10

The fur lining of his hood, very cute very chic. Lil scarf to keep his beard warm apparently. Never had one (beard, not scarf) unfortunately so idk if those things get cold or not but good for him. The mouth cover/scarf does hide his face a lot of the time so -1 point.

Phantom menace era 8/10

He looks like he’s 15 and is probably why he grew his beard post knighthood but he still looks great despite George Lucas’ attempts to make him look terrible with the rat tail bcs cmon it’s Ewan Mcgregor
