03 Bishop, 24?
OOH INTERESTING
24) What they wish they could change about themselves.
This is a tough one imo because 03 Bishop is generally very self-assured, like to a fault. He's blind to his own flaws, so what he would see as needing to be changed is probably dead wrong. Plus, to a degree, if he wants to change something about his physical body, he can, and we can assume he already has (enhanced strength, iirc, is outright mentioned as one of his newest body's perks.)
So that being said, there are a couple things I could figure. I think the obvious answer is he wants to be deadlier. More efficient. I think he'd cut out the need to sleep or eat entirely, if he could, just so he never has to stop working. If there were a way for him to guarantee nobody could ever stop him, he'd want that.
But I also think he'd want to be better at persuasion. People skills, if you will. We see some evidence to suggest Bishop kinda sucks at the networking/politics side of his job, and surely higher-ups keeping him from doing what he wants has to be a source of endless frustration for him. I kinda headcanon that he's always had difficulty with social interaction, and generally in the show most people don't come away with a positive impression of him. Where he's at in the 2000s, pure intimidation and results have gotten him pretty far, but surely he must know he'd get a lot more done if the people he answers to actually liked him at all. I mean, I guess there's always faking another invasion and/or assassination attempt, but I think those have limited uses.
(And then he does change that about himself! Thank you Fast Forward for affirming me👍)

I remember not too long ago, I had read an analysis on Kösem and Ahmed’s relationship, namely its development and whether or not it was truly healthy. I remember the sudden development of Kösem’s feelings for Ahmed were ascribed to stockholm syndrome, which as you dissect it further, even later in the series after Ahmed has passed away, makes total sense. However it made me wonder, why stop at Kösem/Ahmed? Truthfully, I think stockholm syndrome, trauma response and survival instinct were the primary factors in all of the sultanas “love” or attachment to the sultans. Hürrem, Mahidevran, Aysë, Halime, Handan..all of them. Hürrem had initially thought her fiance was murdered when she came to the palace, and within what looked like a couple of months if even, she was shown to be totally head over heels for Suleyman. No one can simply discard their former love interest so quickly unless trauma was a catalyst..and even when Leo came back to the palace that whole time period where he was in such a close proximity to her visibly caused Hürrem so much pain mentally and emotionally. Or with Handan and Kösem going on to fall in love after their sultans had died..it makes me think of when Handan was confessing her love to Dervish and called being a member of the royal family “her prison.” None of these women were truly in love with their sultans, nor do I blame them for it. Love is what develops when there’s no consequences, no strings attached, which is entirely untrue in the harem’s enviornment. Even with Mahidevran’s arc way back when Hürrem was first introduced and she started to feel like she was losing Suleyman. It looked to me Mahidevran ultimately feared lonliness rather than losing Suleyman himself. Harem rules wouldn’t permit her to fall in love with someone else if Suleyman lost interest in her. He was pretty much her only confidant and the only person she had been intimate with and likely from a very young age, unhealthy attachment is bound to develop due to those curcumstances. We all feel so sorry for royal borne sultanas when they’re forced to marry men they don’t love..but this courtesy is seldom extended to their mothers. It’s all very sad when I think about it. How do you feel about this perspective?
(~Fun fact: I got yours and the last ask in the same day and they are both somehow related to Kösem and Ahmet!!~)
Anyway, I have also read that analysis and it's really nuanced and awesome, Joanna always does such an amazing job with her blog and these posts! <3 It gives an amazing perspective to the nature of Kösem and Ahmet and makes us think hard on whether there are more relationship cases in the franchise where Stockholm Syndrome can be applied and how many women there are in the harem that aren't so in love with their sultans.
I also fully believe that, just like motherhood, love in the harem can't not be toxic in a way, because the environment itself won't ever let healthy dynamics happen, thanks to its very roots. And while mothers of children still have the small chance to forge some kind of a relationship with genuine affection despite of the toxicity, we have a totally different situation with the sultans who are basically on the top of the system that brought them in this mess in the first place. It's not easy to let go of the people you loved and it's even harder to get to truly love a person you not only don't know at all, but one you know you're supposed to at least try to win over by sheer force.
Survival instinct plays a lot into this, because sooner or later you see that you don't have a choice. You do what you have to do or else you'll either rot in this palace with everyone always bossing you around or be done for. Something I see some viewers forget is the way Hürrem was ultimately "convinced" to try her luck out with Süleiman. She wanted to get out of this place and let it burn in hell until Nigar told her what it took to win the game. Keep in mind that she hadn't met Süleiman yet back then and that faint was merely an act she pulled to gain his attention and she gained some kind of an affection for him only after some time had passed. This sheer pragmatism could've turned into something more eventually, but the beggining was precisely this survival instinct that was kept intact throughout the entire relationship and the birth and living of Hürrem's children. I think she had let go of Leo by the time when she met him again, but that letting go pained her so much, as seen by all her breakdowns when she saw him and lost him completely. It's something she knew she had to do; notice how she kept telling him to leave for "his own good" and for "the good of both of them". There is this looming, prevailing fear that if they had escaped, the consequences would be severe and Hürrem had already planted roots in the dynasty: as if she gained attachment after attachment she felt the need to protect. She's now responsible for these children and can't leave them behind for her own possible desires to get out of the system. Ibrahim did threaten the children in front of Leo and Hürrem in the S01 finale and that's a big reason why she decided it would be for the best to lose him in this particular situation, no matter how much it hurt afterwards. Hürrem already had a set goal to fulfill in the dynasty and letting go of Leo became the only plausible option for her thematically and narratively. Everything these women do in the harem they do is to survive, adapting to their circumstances and forging some kind of relationships with their sultans is the peak of it. A healthy dynastic is far from one where you have to be opportunistic at every turn. Even the favored women have to be as careful as ever, because a mistake can cost everything. They have to make sure they always have his approval and be in his good graces, behaving like he wants them to behave, not the way they actually are. The goal they have set for themselves in the harem is tightly linked with their love for the sultan. He isn't only love, he's also power, prestige and reassuring. The Sultanate of Women are probably even the most affected by this, because they are the ones who want to break the boundaries of power and by doing that they have to put the leg work to make him happy and pleased. These relationships need so much work and decisiveness for their flourishment, with the women having to be mindful of the sultan's moods and unpredictable nature. (especially when you have an unpredictable, very short tempered sultan like Murat!)
But attachment is still attachment and that's where Stockholm syndrome comes from. They do their best to win him over, but with doing that for such a long time, they learn to feel something for him. There is so much toxicity in the dynamic, but they get used to it and normalize it in their heads. The concept of the harem itself succeeds to make their life revolve around it and it's not something they question anymore. I absolutely agree that it's not limited to only Kösem and Ahmet - everyone is somehow subjected to it, no exceptions. The relationships each woman of the franchise has with the sultan certainly differ from one another, depending on the different personalities and goals, but its unhealthy core remains the same: it's still a toxic, dependant relationship with a massive power imbalance and will always remain so in these castle walls and rules. The big attachment makes it even scarier for one to discover that they might be losing everything, that's why there is such a resistence from Mahidevran, Hürrem, Kösem, Ayşe, Farya etc. when the sultan accepts or outrightly begins to favor other women and I always roll my eyes when these women get accused of "behaving like that while knowing the rules of the harem" without it being understood from a narrative standpoint - even though they know the rules, it still hurts, because the attachment is ultimately more self-centered than anything: they want the sultan to be all theirs, to have him all for themselves, perhaps for a validation of their efforts to forge and preserve their relationships. When they lose favor, everything seems to be crumbling and falling apart and that is so difficult to accept, you can't face helplessness like that, you can't face vulnerability like that and I guess for that it took Mahidevran so long to get over Süleiman. As you said, she got destructively attached to the person that seemigly gave her so much for years. (she herself even said that she's like a little kid in front of him in the second episode) And her suddenly not being regarded in the same way by someone she thought was her family (I still adore that thematic note of her character and perhaps it's the reason why we didn't get any backstory from her.) was catastrophic to her emotional stability and it took her 46 (55, if we begin from her direct confession) episodes to accept that she has lost and even then she was still trying to achieve vengeance at the very least, by thinking of her rule of the harem as a battle she fought with Hürrem, a last helpless try to prevail over her. (E63: "I congratulate you, Hürrem, you won.") That's also why Hürrem almost killed herself when Firuze seemed to have taken away her Thursdays, without having any regard for the children. It's like a chain, of sorts, that women are stuck in, fighting to the end to be the ones next to him, to the point of wanting to end their own lives if they lose. If they lose, that's the end. If they lose the favoritism or the sultan himself dies, leaving them to rest in the hands of the enemy, that's the end.
That's why Mahidevran and Ayşe getting over Süleiman and Murat respectively and realizing that it was more or less an unhealthy dynamic is so important, because these character arcs help spread awareness of the toxicity of this grown attachment to the sultan and the struggle it takes for them to take account of said toxicity, because of their attachments. Ayşe had a rough path accepting that Murat was the way he is, trying almost until the end to make things right with him, both missing in the process and slowly uncovering his unpredictability. While this realization rendered her to do the inevitable in killing herself along with the kids, her letter to Murat indeed felt so eye opening in this regard, putting this whole deal into perspective. Mahidevran, conversely, also found out his true nature and detached herself from it, daring to openly call out a root of the attachment (E139: "He decides the fates of all of us.") and put the free choice of everyone into light and question. (E139: "God, apart from reason, gave people free will.") It's rare for someone to gain such awareness of the system and that's a valuable quality to have, but in a future where Mahidevran and Ayşe aren't as grossly mistreated, would all this be possible to happen? No, I don't think so. And even from the ones that aren't favourites who are more likely to find this out, there are still people out there that probably would stay trapped in the attachment forever. And favourites would be the least likely to figure stuff out, judging by the series' themes. (Hürrem, E134: "I am the soul of all the women in the world and my existence is hidden in the love of the conqueror of my heart." - this assertion is honestly self-explanatory.)
[Handan's arc also extends on the traumatic response one gives the system and I think this aspect applies to her the most. She's a person with no real attachments that is so traumatized by fighting, she didn't even expect the possibility to win over players like Halime and Safiye. She's trying to adapt to her new role as Valide, give "cruel" advice to Ahmet in order to ensure it and make impulsive decisions, dictated by the fear it would all come back to square 1 again, but when she met Derviş, it turned out that nothing about the system made her fit. Hence, she "adapts out" from it by finding true love and killing herself for that love, leaving everything behind.]
So no matter how much these women come to idealize it, no matter how much they begin to think it is actually love or a "fairytale", there still are so many signs that it's not quite like that and that prevent it from being that. That truly includes everyone in the harem, it can't be denied.

Shade’s OCs
Here is a list with all OCs I have so far, including fandom and non-fandom OCs. Some of these might appear new to you (if you have been following me for a while); some might seem familiar. I offer this as a reference, but also as a way to talk about characters a bit. No facts are set in stone; questions and such are always welcome ^^
I’ll start with the ones I’ve already introduced here.
Fandom OCs/Fan characters
Anna Haas My Outlast fan character who exists in an AU based on The Murkoff Account. The result of the question “what if the baby was real?” that appeared in my head one day, Anna exists in several iterations depending on several factors.
Her introduction into the world was more than a little messy; the assault on her mother, Michelle, resulted in Anna being born way too early and spending the first months of her existence in NICU. Obviously she survived the whole ordeal. Under the care of her mother Anna turned into an overall friendly and optimistic child who is very close to her parent, albeit often worried about her given the trauma Michelle endured (which she tries to hide in front of Anna, but the psychological consequences still show up).  She’s a headstrong person, determined to pursue any goal she sets for herself, and has a certain tendency to want to take on a leading role in whatever project or even game she is involved in. These traits carry over when she grows up. The past of her family very much interests her even if the truth about her father and her parents’ involvement in Mt. Massive end up taking a toll on her world perception. She becomes more reserved, perhaps even more irritable in certain aspects after the “revelation”, but sets on a quest to find out what exactly ended up happening to her father with a goal to find disclosure and a peace of mind - a dangerous endeavour perhaps, but one she considers worth the risk. The outcome of all this will ultimately depend on two major variables in her story...
Kyniera the Imp A DOOM OC heavily inspired by the codex entries in 2016 and various headcanons I developed about the species’ biology. Not entirely compliant with the lore presented in DOOM Eternal, as she was created before the new game came out; so to some degree she might exist in some AU as well.
A determined survivalist long used to the harsh ways of Hell that are not that much friendlier to demons than they are to any other life forms (especially so if you are a low-ranked Imp - considered nothing more than cannon fodder), Kyniera is an Imp who has gathered enough experience and a certain amount of caution as a result to survive longer than many others of her breed. This, coupled with a growing sense of self-awareness that is present in older Imps only, makes her suitable to take the role of pack leader in any Imp group she finds herself in. If not leader, then at least someone who is confident enough to influence group decisions, especially when it comes to hunting. An unfortunate event has resulted in her, among other lower beasts, being captured by higher-ranking demons and carried off to a combat arena in the depths of Hell to fight against oftentimes stronger opponents for the sheer amusement of Hell denizens but also to test the physical prowess of the members of Hell’s armies, including herself. Kyniera, much to everyone’s surprise perhaps, has proven to be a particularly resilient Imp, showing good knowledge of how to use her innate fire ability and agility to her advantage, becoming somewhat of a “pet” in the arena. Not necessarily a good thing for the Imp as the arena masters and spectators were probably more curious to see how long she will prevail mentally, out of sheer sadistic delight. However, one losing fight convinces her to turn tail and run eventually - and she manages to escape the arena, overcoming her own fears. With a growing hatred towards the “higher-ups” and an unwillingness to die for anyone, Kyniera wishes to distance herself from all Hell politicking and solely focus her efforts on survival and hunting alone. An endeavour that may not come easy as she still ends up getting caught in the crossfire of intra-Hell conflicts between warring factions which ultimately sends her down a path that just may lead to a particular metamorphosis...
Non-fandom OCs
Synth Rex Synth is an old and powerful daemon lord* who rules over an entire realm. He appears to be a cheerful and playful person who interprets almost everything as a game of sorts. Whatever is said or even done to him, Synth will keep smiling and talking in a friendly and ofttimes jolly way. This demeanour keeps showing even if Synth is experiencing negative emotions - as a way to keep up his composure, but also as a way to “troll” people, especially so if they appear more hostile. With his mindset mostly revolving around the maintenance of his realm, Synth is willing to do a lot of things to ensure the prosperity of it.  He can be described as a scholar of sorts since he enjoys reading and travelling throughout the multiverse to learn and explore different dimensions, the people, cultures etc. It's one of the more effective ways for Synth to occupy himself and prevent boredom. Other occupations may be training, alchemy, and watching individuals and events having managed to pique his interest, especially if they feature revenge. Unlike my fandom OCs, there is no set storyline for this universe. It’s more of an open world revolving around Synth’s realm and his family as well.
Elizabeth Morgan Elizabeth is a fairly old and mighty daemon and Synth's lover. Elizabeth is what one can describe as a willful and self-confident woman who will not let others influence her in a negative way or push her around. Charming, elegant, and equipped with experience collected over 712 years of her life, Elizabeth prefers to use social skills to go about many matters. This is further helped by her mind control abilities which she can use quite deftly, provided an entity is not more powerful than her. She will often meet others with an overall pleasant demeanour, polite, respectful, and decent, simultaneously confident and not afraid of speaking her mind. Greater slights against her or her family will leave a bitter taste in her mouth and will not be forgotten so easily. As a daemon, Elizabeth has no inhibitions about using her mind control abilities to further her goals. She can be a manipulative person who likes to use a person's mental weak points to convince them of acting or thinking in a way benefiting her. When talking proves to be futile, Elizabeth is still capable of defending herself and will not hesitate to do so: like others of her species, she possesses enhanced strength and the ability to shapeshift into a fearsome daemon form.
Shannon Rex [picture not yet available on Tumblr] Shannon is the first and eldest of Synth and Elizabeth's children. Shannon had had a shapeshifting "accident" at the age of three months, having transformed into an indescribable, amorphous shape which appears to be their daemon form, which significantly differs from the usual form. Ever since, Shannon has to struggle with shapeshifting slips a lot, though their powers are getting better as time passes and they become an adult. Shannon is an introverted and reserved person, somewhat taciturn. Serious and determined, Shannon mostly occupies themselves with books and training and might not necessarily be a person who is in for the "silly" type of fun. Having been raised by a caring, but strict father who has set a firm schedule for his child and having been around their father's subordinates a lot, Shannon is disciplined and generally well-behaved. Due to their problems with the shapeshifting power and initially slow telekinesis, Shannon tends to be insecure about themselves, constantly questioning their worth and might. However, with frequent training units and being the offspring of a daemon lord, it might just be a matter of time until Shannon actually becomes powerful.
Cynthia Rex [picture not yet available on Tumblr] Cynthia is the second and youngest of Synth and Elizabeth's children. Cynthia is a happy and jolly six-year-old child (there is a huge age gap between the children), always curious and with a tendency to ask a lot of questions concerning how things work and what they are. She also has a bit of a mischievous streak and will attempt to play pranks once in a while. Close to her family, she is pretty much seldom seen anywhere away from a family member unless she decides to explore her father's castle on her own. Around strangers Cynthia becomes quiet and will cling to whatever family member is accompanying her at a time. As a child she is unaware of a lot of things existing in the multiverse and has a generally optimist attitude, though she knows not to trust people she does not know, which is mostly because of her family frequently telling her that she should not trust anyone outside of her family and her father's subordinates. Cynthia has recently begun undergoing training units in addition to lessons, which often leave her tired.
Thetis The result of my fascination with sharks, the desire to design a mermaid based on the great white shark, and depicting sharks in a positive light while maintaining the fact that they are (majestic) predators by nature.
Thetis is a very curious and inquisitive great white shark mermaid. While Thetis tends towards the introvert side of the spectrum, she is still open to talking with others, always willing to learn new things. She meets others with a friendly appearance and will not, contrary to what might be said about sharks and shark mermaids, seek any hostile intentions whatsoever as long as she is not agitated or hunting prey. Even though she has no inhibitions about killing other living things (specifically prey), she does so only for the sake of self-preservation and would scoff at others for "wasting" a kill, or put differently, for killing and harming other living things for any other reason than self-preservation. Still, Thetis does enjoy the thrill of the hunt itself and will speak rather openly about hunting if it ever comes to that. Depending on which universe she is set in, Thetis may dislike humans (or other humanoids, depending) for all the things they are doing to sharks and maybe even mermaids. However, she would never actively go against any unless the human provokes her intentionally.
Xenia Used to be a fan character of mine before I decided to rewrite her entire story and include her as a non-fandom OC in my own multiverse. As a result there are still gaps in her story, though her personality/concept remains similar.
An agent working under Synth Rex among his ranks. Xenia has endured an excruciating, unhappy childhood that left her permanently scarred - physically and mentally. An escape from her world, after she has exacted revenge on her tormentors, was offered by Lord Rex, who had become interested in her story, promising a better future for her. While Xenia was hesitant to take his offer to work for him first, she accepted it and ended up in a better position after all, as she perceives it. Still, her life has left her bitter, cynic, and mistrustful. While she tries to keep up a good relationship with her fellow agents, approaching her is still difficult as she prefers a solitary lifestyle, slow to trust anyone. Her manner of speech tends to be sarcastic often. Xenia belongs to an unspecified human-like species, possessing powerful telekinetic abilities that have developed and strengthened as she grew up. It was this power that allowed her to turn her "fate" over.
*the depiction of the daemon might drastically differ from “canonical” mythological depictions in places. These characters exist in a multiverse created by me and thus adhere to lore created by myself.

A few of my objective opinions (as of chapter 140)
So seeing as there’s a lot of “controversy” in the newest chapters of Tokyo Ghoul, I’d like to give my own bluntly objective opinions concerning many factors in the story which currently holds popular debate. So let’s begin.
Is Kaneki a bad leader?
In my opinion yes. The main point of debate here is character development versus personality. I do agree with many others that Kaneki is developing in the right direction as a character, and is learning things that he previously couldn’t fathom. However, I also still feel that Kaneki’s lack of leadership skills, decision making, and even general lack of self-awareness has been made pretty damn clear.
Remember, only in the last arc did Ayato have to give Kaneki a wake up call not to fight Amon by himself because the objective was to retrieve the RC suppressant and that is all. Where as a tactical mind such as Eto or Furuta would have let Seidou and Kurona handle this confrontation in the first place. This lack of tactical flexibility is also the reason why Furuta is kicking his ass right now.
At the very least Kaneki will finally be given consequences for his lack of understanding now that the 24th ward he was so certain of being secure, has now fallen apart, and Touka barely escaping death. I have to say I am hyped for how Kaneki’s character will develop from this point onward.
Is Touka a plot device?
A more difficult question to answer, my answer is mixed with this one. Although I still have many nitpicks about the plot concerning Touka’s character, and I also think her narrative really could have been handled better if you ask me. I’ve had mixed feelings about Touka for a long time, with my stances shifting every once in a while.
Currently, I feel that Touka is indeed a very important character, however I also feel that Touka has been shamelessly set up as Kaneki’s future lover, so obvious that it’s almost painful. Don’t get me wrong, I think Kaneki and Touka are a wonderful couple and the way their attachment and love has escalated throughout the story was done really well.
However, I’m not happy that Touka was made irrelevant for roughly 150 chapters despite being such a significant part of the story (I also have the same gripe when it comes to Hide), and making Touka the obvious love interest to magically save Kaneki from his pain rubs me the wrong way.
Is Hide’s return a good thing?
Once again my answer is pretty mixed for this one. One of my main gripes about Hide’s character is the one I just previously mentioned for Touka, that being lack of relevance and screen time in the story. Except in this case it’s much worse. I understand that Ishida wanted to make Hide a unique, stand out character in Tokyo Ghoul, which would certainly be difficult to do considering the vast overwhelming personalities in this series.
Hide was the first character to appear in the story, Kaneki was the second. Hide was the best friend of Kaneki and served as a moral compass for Kaneki in the entire story. However, Hide was a ghost throughout the entire series. Very seldom did he have relevance and even less did he have an active impact on other characters in Tokyo Ghoul.
Because of this I just feel like Hide, much like Touka, was magically forced into the story just to serve as a foundation for Kaneki’s character, rather than being his own. I am however intrigued to see the new dynamic of Hide’s return in the story, with the implication that Hide will be much more involved now.
Is plot armour overused in the story?
I would have to say yes for this as well. I personally don’t believe plot armour in itself is a negative thing in story telling, especially in dark series with strong themes of death like in Tokyo Ghoul. If there was no plot armour, Kaneki would have died at the end of the original series, but he didn’t. People have varying preference over plot armour, and I would reckon most of the fans who still care about Tokyo Ghoul:re certainly don’t mind plot armour, to a certain extent.
The problem here is when characters get saved constantly, or survive under miraculous conditions which make no logical sense whatsoever, and Tokyo Ghoul does have plenty of evidence with this. Amon and Seidou didn’t bleed out from their wounds in the Anteiku Raid. Akira survived kagune attacks that should have pierced her armour. Kaneki still had enough energy to fight and defeat Arima after being cut to ribbons. You get the idea.
Though it will be a nice change of pace if Naki actually did die in the latest chapter 140, as people firmly believed that the Naki/Miza ship basically made them invincible in the plot. At this point I’m expecting a red herring and for Naki to survive the implied death that he was given, but I will be pleasantly surprised if this is not the case. (Hey don’t get me wrong Naki is still precious.)
Is Tokyo Ghoul predictable?
Well, yes and no. At certain times Tokyo ghoul is completely unpredictable, such as Roma being an SSS rated kakuja who was also 51 years old. No one saw that coming. However on the flipside, Urie breaking out of her kakuja and surviving the encounter was incredibly predictable, to the point that no one in the fandom was worried about Urie whatsoever.
So with just that one example, to me it’s pretty clear that the predictability of Tokyo Ghoul’s plot goes up and down like a yo-yo. I could also give many other examples which are riddled throughout the story. It was obvious for a while that Kaneki was going to become the One-Eyed King, however it was kept vague in which the process of this was going to come about.
I personally don’t mind this since there has so far been a fair balance between obvious foreshadowing coming to fruition, while at the same time throwing in plot twists to shake up the readers which also don’t feel like straight up ass pulls at least most of the time.
Once again. these are just a few of my own objective opinions when looking at the story of Tokyo Ghoul as a whole. It seems like Tokyo Ghoul still has quite some time before it reaches its conclusion, so some of my opinions are likely to change further down the line.

#19: Season 3, Episode 15 - “The Big Splash”
Louis surprises everyone by joining the diving team, but then surprises no one by only doing cannonballs. This eventually leads to Louis reevaluating the future he envisions for himself. Should he remain a class clown forever? Or should he start taking life more seriously? Meanwhile, Ren’s on a mission to win “Best Smile” in the yearbook.
Tumblr media
We start our episode with Tawny, Twitty and Tom (oh wow I just realized that all of Louis’ friends names start with the letter T lol) sitting in the stands at a school dive meet. Louis told them to go, yet he’s suspiciously nowhere to be found. Until a mysterious hooded guy walks out with LJH’s team, dramatically takes off the hood and… yeah. It’s Louis. Louis is apparently good at diving according to Twitty and Coach Tugnut (“Stevens, you don’t stink so bad!”) but he decides to squander his talent for laughs instead by doing cannonballs. It’s so cringy. Not only because doing cannonballs at a dive meet and soaking the entire audience & judges is beyond immature -- but, because his cannonballs are so fake lol. There’s the initial surface splash, and then an immediate second one that looks like a freaking nuclear bomb. Unless we’re all watching this from the perspective of Shallow Hal and Louis is actually 600 pounds, it makes no sense. I know it’s just for the lulz... but still. The gang gets a kick out of it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We cut to the subplot where we see Ruby rushing around and tallying people’s votes for yearbook superlatives. Ren finds out that she’s a lock for “The Big Three” -- Most Likely to Succeed, Most Intelligent, and Best Personality. Is it just me, or is Best Personality a little debatable? (No offense, Ren.) Monique asks who’s in the lead for Best Smile and Ren gets salty when she finds out it’s some random chick Kelly Kerwin. Sooo, now Ren is determined to beat Kelly for Best Smile, as if she doesn’t currently hold the title for literally everything else. Seriously, girl. Let some other people get their time to shine. Dang.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After school, Ren lets the cat out of the bag to Steve and Eileen about Louis joining the diving team. Steve is beyond excited and tells Louis he’ll try to make it to the next meet. Clearly, Louis does not want his family to attend and witness his latest goofball stunt.
Next, we get a time-lapse of Ren being her own personal dentist in the bathroom before school because god forbid she doesn’t win Best Smile. It then cuts to Ren having a smile showdown at school with Kelly. This is the second time in the series where we get that annoying sepia, cowboy standoff thing. This cliché never works for me, ever. This goes on for 1 minute and 14 seconds which might seem like a short amount of time, but my god does this scene crawl by. Definitely the lowest point.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Steve decides to attend Louis’ next dive meet and brings his boss, Mr. Kupchack, along with him. Oh, boy. Tugnut compliments Kupchack’s fancy blazer and he responds “Thank you. It’s the finest Italian suede” and all Tugnut can say is “.........too bad.” HAHA. Of course, Louis gets up there and does another massive cannonball, completely soaking the audience... Including Mr. Kupchack and his fancy Italian blazer. Steve is livid and rightfully so.

Louis’ guilt is starting to sink in...
At home that night, Steve has a serious talk with Louis. He tells him that he was incredibly proud before the meet, (hence why he brought Kupchack along) only to be disappointed yet again. Louis tries to brush off his immature decisions by saying “I’m a kid. That’s what I do. I have fun.” But, Steve poses the question “It may be fun now… But where are you gonna be 10 years from now?” This really resonates with Louis. It cuts to a dramatic shot of him looking at a crap ton of “Class Clown” trophies later that night. Uh… When did Louis get all those trophies?! Where does he keep them? They don’t really let us see lol. It seems like they have their own private display room! Do schools even give out trophies for prestigious accomplishments such as “Seventh Grade Class Clown”? That’s the real question here. Anyway. This fades into a daydream Louis has of a 10 Year Lawrence Jr. High reunion.
Tumblr media
As a kid, I always thought 10 years was too small of a time jump. Especially because Louis imagines Tom married with two kids and another on the way. But, 2017 marked the 10 year anniversary of my own middle school graduation. Now I'm 24 and a recent college graduate. Not to mention a lot of my friends are already getting married, having kids and starting their careers of course. So… Looking back at this as an adult, it's actually pretty accurate.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love how since Twitty is a musician, they had to give him a ponytail down to his freaking butt.
I’d also like to point out that Tawny is a fashion designer, wearing rope lights as part of her outfit, and talks about spending time in Rome. Was Disney Channel under the assumption that clothes featuring rope lights are a high fashion ~Rome~ thing? Exhibit B:
Tumblr media
Louis’ daydream is so depressing... but I absolutely love it. He basically imagines himself as a total screwup man-child. He can’t relate to his accomplished adult friends because he never grew out of being his middle school jokester self. It’s too real. You just cringe the entire time because everyone is trying to have a mature conversation and Louis is literally incapable of doing so. One by one, they all become annoyed by Louis’ antics and make up an excuse to leave. Twitty’s the only one left in the end and asks for Louis’ email to keep in touch. We reach the final straw when Louis says: “It’s [email protected]..... With a K.” OHHHH GODDDDDD IT’S SO BAAAAADDDDD. I just wanna die of embarrassment. Twitty is fed up at this point too and peaces out. Louis snaps out of the daydream and whispers “No...” to himself -- clearly deciding against a future like that.
Tumblr media
The moment Twitty lost all hope.
That whole sequence is definitely the standout moment of the episode for me. Not because of how funny it is (like you might imagine a standout Even Stevens moment to be), but because of how not funny it is. It’s something we’ve never really seen on the show before. I think taking a peek into Louis’ potential pathetic future was so great. It’s almost like they expanded on what they started in Uncle Chuck. This profound moment segues back into the pointless Best Smile drama. I think it’s kinda interesting how Louis’ plot is very existential here and Ren’s is very superficial. I wonder if that was intentional or not.
Since Ren was so desperate to win and forced herself to smile non-stop, her facial muscles end up getting stuck in a rather disturbing grin lol oops. She’s scheduled to sing the school song at the dive meet in 5 minutes. This somehow leads to Ruby giving Ren a makeover to “distract from the mouth.” She also gives Ren the brilliant advice to cut through the steam room on her way to the pool. The end result is the long lost sister of Pennywise. Ren, The Singing Clown:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hiya, Georgie!! (No, but really. She looks terrifying.)
Even though he wishes Louis would take it seriously, Steve still goes to the meet to show support. Kupchack also makes another appearance because his first-grader son (Played by Hayden Panettiere’s little brother) wants to see “The Cannonball Kid!”
Tumblr media
Louis has built up a name for himself apparently. There’s a massive crowd there to see him! I would imagine these are the same kind of people who stand right next to the log flume ride at amusement parks just to get soaked while fully clothed for whatever unimaginable reason.
You can see that Louis is under a lot of pressure to either give in to the weirdos in the crowd and give them the cannonball they want -- or to take the first step towards seriousness and do an actual dive. In the end, his decision to do a real dive is so admirable!!! I love it so much. But, naturally, when he emerges from the pool and declares “You know what? From this day forward... Let it be known: I am not a clown” we see that he’s standing there as naked as the day he was born.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was going to ask why Louis is the only team member who wears trunks instead of a speedo... but I guess this is the reason why, haha. He needed to wear something flimsy so it could fly right off of him later I guess? lol. I’d also like to point out Tawny’s freaking FACE:
Tumblr media
Um... okay, gurl. I always thought it was weird how she (along with, like.. 50 other people) saw her future boyfriend naked in public like that.
Anyway, Louis scurries off embarrassed and that’s it! The “final minute” bit is Ren coming home from school with a copy of the yearbook already??? She won The Big Three... and the last minute honor of “Best Class Clown.” It’s like Louis and Ren swapped stories in the end. THAT’S WHAT YOU GET, REN! That’s what you get!!! This is also the second time we see Ren wanting to achieve perfection in the yearbook and having it totally blow up in her face.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love this episode. It was actually the one I was most excited to rewatch while I was organizing my list. Since Louis is my favorite character, this one obviously gets a lot of “personal favorite” points for me. As I mentioned, it isn't even necessarily funny. As soon as Louis does his first cannonball, I get kinda depressed actually lol. The reason I'm ranking this one higher is because I just really love the plot-line and this more serious side of Louis which is seldom seen this prominently. In contrast to Uncle Chuck though, this episode spins the depressing factor into a positive and leaves you feeling optimistic about Louis’ future. You get the sense that he’s actually going to finally make an effort moving forward.
This episode would be even more effective if they actually aired it in production order!! “The Big Splash” is #320 in production. “Model Principal” is #319 — Ya know, the episode where Louis acts like an actual clown and singlehandedly turns the entire school into a circus??? Yeah. They decided to place that episode 3 episodes after this one. If “Model Principal” aired the episode before “The Big Splash” — LIKE IT WAS MEANT TO — it would’ve been so much better. We would’ve seen the height of Louis’ ridiculousness followed by the sobering episode where he decides to knock it off. The episodes leading up to “The Big Splash” in production order are all next-level zany Louis stuff. The few episodes that follow don’t include too much over the top stuff from him, so it would all make total sense. Instead, we get a really solid episode for Louis’ character development, later followed by a total regression of that development. Curse Disney’s f’d up schedule! WHYYYY?!?!?!
Thanks for reading!!
Oh, and HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you all had a nice holiday. I took a break for Christmas, so yeah. I was actually so mad that the Christmas/Hanukkah episode wasn’t next on the list. It would’ve been perfect timing to review it last week. Oh, well. That episode is really good and deserves even higher than #19 ;)

Who Goes Nazi? Dorothy Thompson American Journalist.
From the August 1941 issue of Harpers Magazine.
It is an interesting and somewhat macabre parlor game to play at a large gathering of one’s acquaintances: to speculate who in a showdown would go Nazi. By now, I think I know. I have gone through the experience many times—in Germany, in Austria, and in France. I have come to know the types: the born Nazis, the Nazis whom democracy itself has created, the certain-to-be fellow-travelers. And I also know those who never, under any conceivable circumstances, would become Nazis.
It is preposterous to think that they are divided by any racial characteristics. Germans may be more susceptible to Nazism than most people, but I doubt it. Jews are barred out, but it is an arbitrary ruling. I know lots of Jews who are born Nazis and many others who would heil Hitler tomorrow morning if given a chance. There are Jews who have repudiated their own ancestors in order to become “Honorary Aryans and Nazis”; there are full-blooded Jews who have enthusiastically entered Hitler’s secret service. Nazism has nothing to do with race and nationality. It appeals to a certain type of mind.
It is also, to an immense extent, the disease of a generation—the generation which was either young or unborn at the end of the last war. This is as true of Englishmen, Frenchmen, and Americans as of Germans. It is the disease of the so-called “lost generation.”
Sometimes I think there are direct biological factors at work—a type of education, feeding, and physical training which has produced a new kind of human being with an imbalance in his nature. He has been fed vitamins and filled with energies that are beyond the capacity of his intellect to discipline. He has been treated to forms of education which have released him from inhibitions. His body is vigorous. His mind is childish. His soul has been almost completely neglected.
At any rate, let us look round the room.
The gentleman standing beside the fireplace with an almost untouched glass of whiskey beside him on the mantelpiece is Mr. A, a descendant of one of the great American families. There has never been an American Blue Book without several persons of his surname in it. He is poor and earns his living as an editor. He has had a classical education, has a sound and cultivated taste in literature, painting, and music; has not a touch of snobbery in him; is full of humor, courtesy, and wit. He was a lieutenant in the World War, is a Republican in politics, but voted twice for Roosevelt, last time for Willkie. He is modest, not particularly brilliant, a staunch friend, and a man who greatly enjoys the company of pretty and witty women. His wife, whom he adored, is dead, and he will never remarry.
He has never attracted any attention because of outstanding bravery. But I will put my hand in the fire that nothing on earth could ever make him a Nazi. He would greatly dislike fighting them, but they could never convert him. . . . Why not?
Beside him stands Mr. B, a man of his own class, graduate of the same preparatory school and university, rich, a sportsman, owner of a famous racing stable, vice-president of a bank, married to a well-known society belle. He is a good fellow and extremely popular. But if America were going Nazi he would certainly join up, and early. Why? . . . Why the one and not the other?
Mr. A has a life that is established according to a certain form of personal behavior. Although he has no money, his unostentatious distinction and education have always assured him a position. He has never been engaged in sharp competition. He is a free man. I doubt whether ever in his life he has done anything he did not want to do or anything that was against his code. Nazism wouldn’t fit in with his standards and he has never become accustomed to making concessions.
Mr. B has risen beyond his real abilities by virtue of health, good looks, and being a good mixer. He married for money and he has done lots of other things for money. His code is not his own; it is that of his class—no worse, no better, He fits easily into whatever pattern is successful. That is his sole measure of value—success. Nazism as a minority movement would not attract him. As a movement likely to attain power, it would.
The saturnine man over there talking with a lovely French emigree is already a Nazi. Mr. C is a brilliant and embittered intellectual. He was a poor white-trash Southern boy, a scholarship student at two universities where he took all the scholastic honors but was never invited to join a fraternity. His brilliant gifts won for him successively government positions, partnership in a prominent law firm, and eventually a highly paid job as a Wall Street adviser. He has always moved among important people and always been socially on the periphery. His colleagues have admired his brains and exploited them, but they have seldom invited him—or his wife—to dinner.
He is a snob, loathing his own snobbery. He despises the men about him—he despises, for instance, Mr. B—because he knows that what he has had to achieve by relentless work men like B have won by knowing the right people. But his contempt is inextricably mingled with envy. Even more than he hates the class into which he has insecurely risen, does he hate the people from whom he came. He hates his mother and his father for being his parents. He loathes everything that reminds him of his origins and his humiliations. He is bitterly anti-Semitic because the social insecurity of the Jews reminds him of his own psychological insecurity.
Pity he has utterly erased from his nature, and joy he has never known. He has an ambition, bitter and burning. It is to rise to such an eminence that no one can ever again humiliate him. Not to rule but to be the secret ruler, pulling the strings of puppets created by his brains. Already some of them are talking his language—though they have never met him.
There he sits: he talks awkwardly rather than glibly; he is courteous. He commands a distant and cold respect. But he is a very dangerous man. Were he primitive and brutal he would be a criminal—a murderer. But he is subtle and cruel. He would rise high in a Nazi regime. It would need men just like him—intellectual and ruthless. But Mr. C is not a born Nazi. He is the product of a democracy hypocritically preaching social equality and practicing a carelessly brutal snobbery. He is a sensitive, gifted man who has been humiliated into nihilism. He would laugh to see heads roll.
I think young D over there is the only born Nazi in the room. Young D is the spoiled only son of a doting mother. He has never been crossed in his life. He spends his time at the game of seeing what he can get away with. He is constantly arrested for speeding and his mother pays the fines. He has been ruthless toward two wives and his mother pays the alimony. His life is spent in sensation-seeking and theatricality. He is utterly inconsiderate of everybody. He is very good-looking, in a vacuous, cavalier way, and inordinately vain. He would certainly fancy himself in a uniform that gave him a chance to swagger and lord it over others.
Mrs. E would go Nazi as sure as you are born. That statement surprises you? Mrs. E seems so sweet, so clinging, so cowed. She is. She is a masochist. She is married to a man who never ceases to humiliate her, to lord it over her, to treat her with less consideration than he does his dogs. He is a prominent scientist, and Mrs. E, who married him very young, has persuaded herself that he is a genius, and that there is something of superior womanliness in her utter lack of pride, in her doglike devotion. She speaks disapprovingly of other “masculine” or insufficiently devoted wives. Her husband, however, is bored to death with her. He neglects her completely and she is looking for someone else before whom to pour her ecstatic self-abasement. She will titillate with pleased excitement to the first popular hero who proclaims the basic subordination of women.
On the other hand, Mrs. F would never go Nazi. She is the most popular woman in the room, handsome, gay, witty, and full of the warmest emotion. She was a popular actress ten years ago; married very happily; promptly had four children in a row; has a charming house, is not rich but has no money cares, has never cut herself off from her own happy-go-lucky profession, and is full of sound health and sound common sense. All men try to make love to her; she laughs at them all, and her husband is amused. She has stood on her own feet since she was a child, she has enormously helped her husband’s career (he is a lawyer), she would ornament any drawing-room in any capital, and she is as American as ice cream and cake.
How about the butler who is passing the drinks? I look at James with amused eyes. James is safe. James has been butler to the ‘ighest aristocracy, considers all Nazis parvenus and communists, and has a very good sense for “people of quality.” He serves the quiet editor with that friendly air of equality which good servants always show toward those they consider good enough to serve, and he serves the horsy gent stiffly and coldly.
Bill, the grandson of the chauffeur, is helping serve to-night. He is a product of a Bronx public school and high school, and works at night like this to help himself through City College, where he is studying engineering. He is a “proletarian,” though you’d never guess it if you saw him without that white coat. He plays a crack game of tennis—has been a tennis tutor in summer resorts—swims superbly, gets straight A’s in his classes, and thinks America is okay and don’t let anybody say it isn’t. He had a brief period of Youth Congress communism, but it was like the measles. He was not taken in the draft because his eyes are not good enough, but he wants to design airplanes, “like Sikorsky.” He thinks Lindbergh is “just another pilot with a build-up and a rich wife” and that he is “always talking down America, like how we couldn’t lick Hitler if we wanted to.” At this point Bill snorts.
Mr. G is a very intellectual young man who was an infant prodigy. He has been concerned with general ideas since the age of ten and has one of those minds that can scintillatingly rationalize everything. I have known him for ten years and in that time have heard him enthusiastically explain Marx, social credit, technocracy, Keynesian economics, Chestertonian distributism, and everything else one can imagine. Mr. G will never be a Nazi, because he will never be anything. His brain operates quite apart from the rest of his apparatus. He will certainly be able, however, fully to explain and apologize for Nazism if it ever comes along. But Mr. G is always a “deviationist.” When he played with communism he was a Trotskyist; when he talked of Keynes it was to suggest improvement; Chesterton’s economic ideas were all right but he was too bound to Catholic philosophy. So we may be sure that Mr. G would be a Nazi with purse-lipped qualifications. He would certainly be purged.
H is an historian and biographer. He is American of Dutch ancestry born and reared in the Middle West. He has been in love with America all his life. He can recite whole chapters of Thoreau and volumes of American poetry, from Emerson to Steve Benet. He knows Jefferson’s letters, Hamilton’s papers, Lincoln’s speeches. He is a collector of early American furniture, lives in New England, runs a farm for a hobby and doesn’t lose much money on it, and loathes parties like this one. He has a ribald and manly sense of humor, is unconventional and lost a college professorship because of a love affair. Afterward he married the lady and has lived happily ever afterward as the wages of sin.
H has never doubted his own authentic Americanism for one instant. This is his country, and he knows it from Acadia to Zenith. His ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War and in all the wars since. He is certainly an intellectual, but an intellectual smelling slightly of cow barns and damp tweeds. He is the most good-natured and genial man alive, but if anyone ever tries to make this country over into an imitation of Hitler’s, Mussolini’s, or Petain’s systems H will grab a gun and fight. Though H’s liberalism will not permit him to say it, it is his secret conviction that nobody whose ancestors have not been in this country since before the Civil War really understands America or would really fight for it against Nazism or any other foreign ism in a showdown.
But H is wrong. There is one other person in the room who would fight alongside H and he is not even an American citizen. He is a young German emigre, whom I brought along to the party. The people in the room look at him rather askance because he is so Germanic, so very blond-haired, so very blue-eyed, so tanned that somehow you expect him to be wearing shorts. He looks like the model of a Nazi. His English is flawed—he learned it only five years ago. He comes from an old East Prussian family; he was a member of the post-war Youth Movement and afterward of the Republican “Reichsbanner.” All his German friends went Nazi—without exception. He hiked to Switzerland penniless, there pursued his studies in New Testament Greek, sat under the great Protestant theologian, Karl Barth, came to America through the assistance of an American friend whom he had met in a university, got a job teaching the classics in a fashionable private school; quit, and is working now in an airplane factory—working on the night shift to make planes to send to Britain to defeat Germany. He has devoured volumes of American history, knows Whitman by heart, wonders why so few Americans have ever really read the Federalist papers, believes in the United States of Europe, the Union of the English-speaking world, and the coming democratic revolution all over the earth. He believes that America is the country of Creative Evolution once it shakes off its middle-class complacency, its bureaucratized industry, its tentacle-like and spreading government, and sets itself innerly free.
The people in the room think he is not an American, but he is more American than almost any of them. He has discovered America and his spirit is the spirit of the pioneers. He is furious with America because it does not realize its strength and beauty and power. He talks about the workmen in the factory where he is employed. . . . He took the job “in order to understand the real America.” He thinks the men are wonderful. “Why don’t you American in- tellectuals ever get to them; talk to them?”
I grin bitterly to myself, thinking that if we ever got into war with the Nazis he would probably be interned, while Mr. B and Mr. G and Mrs. E would be spreading defeatism at all such parties as this one. “Of course I don’t like Hitler but . . .”
Mr. J over there is a Jew. Mr. J is a very important man. He is immensely rich—he has made a fortune through a dozen directorates in various companies, through a fabulous marriage, through a speculative flair, and through a native gift for money and a native love of power. He is intelligent and arrogant. He seldom associates with Jews. He deplores any mention of the “Jewish question.” He believes that Hitler “should not be judged from the standpoint of anti-Semitism.” He thinks that “the Jews should be reserved on all political questions.” He considers Roosevelt “an enemy of business.” He thinks “It was a serious blow to the Jews that Frankfurter should have been appointed to the Supreme Court.”
The saturnine Mr. C—the real Nazi in the room—engages him in a flatteringly attentive conversation. Mr. J agrees with Mr. C wholly. Mr. J is definitely attracted by Mr. C. He goes out of his way to ask his name—they have never met before. “A very intelligent man.”
Mr. K contemplates the scene with a sad humor in his expressive eyes. Mr. K is also a Jew. Mr. K is a Jew from the South. He speaks with a Southern drawl. He tells inimitable stories. Ten years ago he owned a very successful business that he had built up from scratch. He sold it for a handsome price, settled his indigent relatives in business, and now enjoys an income for himself of about fifty dollars a week. At forty he began to write articles about odd and out-of-the-way places in American life. A bachelor, and a sad man who makes everybody laugh, he travels continually, knows America from a thousand different facets, and loves it in a quiet, deep, unostentatious way. He is a great friend of H, the biographer. Like H, his ancestors have been in this country since long before the Civil War. He is attracted to the young German. By and by they are together in the drawing-room. The impeccable gentleman of New England, the country-man—intellectual of the Middle West, the happy woman whom the gods love, the young German, the quiet, poised Jew from the South. And over on the other side are the others.
Mr. L has just come in. Mr. L is a lion these days. My hostess was all of a dither when she told me on the telephone, “ . . . and L is coming. You know it’s dreadfully hard to get him.” L is a very powerful labor leader. “My dear, he is a man of the people, but really fascinating.“ L is a man of the people and just exactly as fascinating as my horsy, bank vice-president, on-the-make acquaintance over there, and for the same reasons and in the same way. L makes speeches about the “third of the nation,” and L has made a darned good thing for himself out of championing the oppressed. He has the best car of anyone in this room; salary means nothing to him because he lives on an expense account. He agrees with the very largest and most powerful industrialists in the country that it is the business of the strong to boss the weak, and he has made collective bargaining into a legal compulsion to appoint him or his henchmen as “labor’s” agents, with the power to tax pay envelopes and do what they please with the money. L is the strongest natural-born Nazi in this room. Mr. B regards him with contempt tempered by hatred. Mr. B will use him. L is already parroting B’s speeches. He has the brains of Neanderthal man, but he has an infallible instinct for power. In private conversation he denounces the Jews as “parasites.” No one has ever asked him what are the creative functions of a highly paid agent, who takes a percentage off the labor of millions of men, and distributes it where and as it may add to his own political power.
It’s fun—a macabre sort of fun—this parlor game of “Who Goes Nazi?” And it simplifies things—asking the question in regard to specific personalities.
Kind, good, happy, gentlemanly, secure people never go Nazi. They may be the gentle philosopher whose name is in the Blue Book, or Bill from City College to whom democracy gave a chance to design airplanes—you’ll never make Nazis out of them. But the frustrated and humiliated intellectual, the rich and scared speculator, the spoiled son, the labor tyrant, the fellow who has achieved success by smelling out the wind of success—they would all go Nazi in a crisis.
Believe me, nice people don’t go Nazi. Their race, color, creed, or social condition is not the criterion. It is something in them.
Those who haven’t anything in them to tell them what they like and what they don’t-whether it is breeding, or happiness, or wisdom, or a code, however old-fashioned or however modern, go Nazi. It’s an amusing game. Try it at the next big party you go to.

Louis: Natal Chart Interpretation
Louis Tomlinson
1:47 p.m. December 24, 1991.
  Sun in Capricorn
Those with Sun in Capricorn have a realistic, grounded approach to life that can be seen no matter how dream the rest of the birth chart suggests. He is very realistic. He won’t dream for far-fetched things, but things that he knows he can reasonably achieve or attain. These people know how to do things, and get things done. He is so determined. C.E.O’s everywhere should be grateful that he’s a musician and not coming for their jobs because I’m pretty sure that Louis William Tomlinson could do anything that he wanted to.
They are very much concerned with things that are worthwhile, and that includes their own lives. This might be why he is so messy. He considers stuff like that as stuff that can wait, and why waste time doing that when he can accomplishing the other fifteen thousand things on his list? Capricorns want to do and be something worthwhile. He wants to be important. He wants to be an immoveable feature in society, whether that is through music or another way. He wants to be important and feel that people look up to him.
They need to feel useful and effective in the real world in order to be satisfied with their lives. He needs to see tangible benefits of his hard work, whether that’s an album or hearing from his family that they are happy with his Christmas gifts.
Capricorn possess a strong need for recognition in a worldly sense. This is why we saw him on the last season of X-Factor in the U.K and why he had that spot on America’s Got Talent for a while. He wants to be famous. He wants to be recognized. He wants to be remembered and seen. It’s not enough to have been in one of the biggest boy bands in the world if people can’t see his photo and automatically know who he is. He wants to be a household name, but what he has should be enough for him. He doesn’t want to be a secret hit maker. He wants to be like Simon Cowell, or Diddy, a mogul who is also in the spotlight in some way or another.
Capricorns like to pare things down, and take pleasure in the simple things in life. He wants the basic a good job, nice house, comfort, and a good family life. However, many are attracted to status symbols, and these ones will wear the best clothes (tasteful ones) and drive quietly impressive cars. The boy looks like a scrub most of the time, a very handsome fuck boy, but that very handsome heifer is wearing a $500 hoodie. Solar Capricorns can see into the future and plan for it. Everything he does is for the future. He is creating his future everyday with the things that he does. He is doing everything to make sure that he gets what he wants.
They don’t mind taking things slowly, but they absolutely aim to get to the top of the mountain in life! Louis is all about the end game. Capricorns can sometimes be lonely people, although they rarely let it show. Because that would be admitting weakness, and he wants to come off as anything but weak. They are often a little reserved, even standoffish. He wants to appear cool no matter what. He won’t immediately show you his passions or excitement, but rather put you off with some smart ass remark because he wants to keep you on uneven ground while he’s as surefooted as ever. He wants to have the upper hand always. Just think about that video of him and Liam at the last Brits. Liam was all boozy, and though Louis loves him he made sure that he was very levelheaded and the one that stepped up and answered the questions and he made sure that he seemed in control even if Liam wasn’t.
This is generally because they value all things practical, and they’ll seldom wear their emotions on their sleeves, unless they have a particularly flamboyant moon sign. He is very reserved in what he shows to others because he doesn’t want anyone to be able to judge him. He shows people what he wants them to see, and that’s that.
They are generally very capable people with a strong sense of tradition and responsibility. He gets things done. He has that role of caretaker and guardian and I think he takes it very seriously. He is very sure of himself, and wants that traditional sort of life, the American dream if you will.
Many Capricorns have mastered the art of making people laugh. Some arsehole once said that if you can make a woman laugh, really laugh, than you can make her do anything. While that is ridiculous, the point is that people let the guard down around someone who is seen as cheery and good natured, the funny guy. No one can doubt that Louis has sarcastic, witty banter down to a science, but it’s why he does that’s interesting. He figured out early on that using that sort of communication is a great way to get to know people, to get in so that others will let their guard down around him. So that they will feel comfortable all the while he’s plotting on how he’s gonna make it out on top of whatever it is that they’re doing.
Their sense of humor can be of the deadpan variety, they’re generally excellent at keeping a straight face. He could literally tell you a bold face lie and you would never know until he started laughing. They can be bitingly sarcastic, too. Cue any interview ever of Louis Tomlinson and you will find about eight hundred examples of this. Sarcasm is Louis’ second language.
Capricorns are not know for taking too many risks in life. Why would he? He knows the best path to get things done, why deviate? They value tried and true things. Which is why he’s gone back to his ex. He likes things that are comfortable. This is not to say they are stick in the muds, they simply value hard work laid down by those who’ve been around before them. He follows paths that he knows work, if that person did it and they had success he could easily imitate the same behavior and get there as well. Too bad it doesn’t always work that way.
Turn to your Capricorn friends for help when you need to really get things done. They’ll have practical advice and they’ll help you organize and manage your life a little better. He knows how to give advice, but maybe not how to take it. Niall said that Louis is the one the boys go to when they need advice. That’s because he’s wise. And he genuinely cares about people’s best interest.
Capricorns are generally good with their “word”, dependable, and rather loyal people. If he’s your friend he will have your back forever. He could watch you murder someone, and he’d be like I don’t know that person, never seen him before in my life. Now, get the fuck off my property, where they have probably buried the body.
He is honorable and strong willed. He can be trusted to do what he says that he will. He is top notch in work matters and strong willed to the point of being a stubborn arse. Quietly ambition within the realms of the possible. Here’s this again. He likes and takes on responsibility. Who likes responsibility? Control freaks, and I think Louis likes to be in charge if only he can bark orders at people.
He is sometimes bitter and has a mistrustful mind. Time and circumstance may have made him a little bitter, and with as many people who are trying to get and use him I’d have a mistrustful mind too.
  Sun in 8th
You have a great urge to go farther or deeper into life every step of the way. He wants to outwit, outplay, and outlast every person alive and dead. You have a magnetic power if you choose to use it wisely. How he looked in Drag Me Down still gives me the chills. Very intense eyes, like I got this. I would trust him with practically anything, and I don’t even know the guy. He just seems very competent.
At some point in life, self-improvement will be a big interest. When he finds someone that will refuse to let him rest on his laurels, yeah. Financial problems may ease after marriage. Because he will marry, hopefully, a very calm, reasonable person and will be able to relax from this constant overcompensating that he seems to do a lot.
  Moon in Leo
Moon in Leo people are not necessarily outgoing. For as much as we see him going out and doing things, I do think he may be a bit of homebody at times. Or he takes his home, his friends and what not, with him while he’s out so that he still has that sense about him.
They do like being the center of attention. He needs it, to be honest. They like being in the spotlight. Always. They enjoy entertaining others, and often take on the role of comic. That’s the easiest role for him to take on with new people until he can slowly assert his other traits. He started out as the band’s comic relief, the funny one, then quickly became an indispensable leader among them. The band’s glue. Generally, though, Lunar Leos have a deep need to treat others fairly and justly, with respect. Y’all remember that horrible interview with Liam, Harry, and Niall when they were in Mexico with the lady in the leopard print dress. And they were all absolutely horrible to her, and everyone in the comments were like I wish Louis was there, but when they went back to interview with her again, he was the nicest, most respectable, most professional person. I was so proud I could have cried because I think people misconstrue his personality a lot, and his momma taught him better than to act like they did in that first interview.
Lunar Leos require lots and lots of care in order to function well in the world. He needs to be with someone. He’s another serial monogamist. He wants to feel like someone has his back no matter what even if that someone actually doesn’t, the illusion is enough for him sometimes.
When they feel slighted, these people can be dramatic in their emotional displays. He gets revenge in the worst way on people that hurt him. They are given to big scenes and sulking. He like googles ways to like poison people and contemplates calling a hit man. No big scene he’s just thinking about how to ruin your life forever.
Lunar Leos are far too concerned about their image to make splashy scenes outside the comfort of their homes. He is a very private person. Except when he isn’t exactly feeling like himself, all of 2015. In public, they prefer to take things in a dignified way. He doesn’t let people push him into getting out of control. He maintains a sense of composure even when he really wants to hack off on an interviewer who just asked him a nasty question.
It is easy to reason with him. I think he would listen to reason because he’s so practical. He wouldn’t not listen to you just because he was angry because he would want to get to the bottom of things and get it over with as quickly as possible.
He is imposing and sharp. Selectivity in friends, but it not overly influenced by them. He makes up his own mind on things. He has changing and numerous affections. He is a serial monogamist with a serious fear of being alone. He is proud. Sometimes he might feel that his pride is all he has left that he can really guard.
  Moon in 4th
He likes family life, peace and quiet, he likes to stay home, surrounded by loved ones, in agreeable circumstances. He is strongly influenced by his mother. He wants this dream of what a family is supposed to look like, but he should know from past experiences that family can look like anything. He now has his sisters and brother and he has all these moving parts that he feels like he has to pull together and make one big happy family unit with him at the helm. I think that he will get this one day, but not if he rushes into anything. If he rushes then he will get nothing, but more of a mess.
You long for a sense of true belonging, but you may be quite restless in your search. He is constantly looking for the one. He wants to find that person and place them in this spot that he has carved out in his life, but when he rushes he gets people who don’t really care about him in the first place. Which again, is why he has gone back to someone comfortable. He seeks a sense of belonging. He wants to fit with a group. More than anything else Louis wants to feel needed, indispensable.
Some of you might retain rather immature on an emotional level, never wanting to truly grow up and take care of yourself. There is no growing up, you are who you are. Growing up is a lie. Attachments to your past, traditions, and family are strong. His family is the number one most important thing to him.
  34 Trine Moon-Mercury
You can be quite expressive and animated in your speech. His voice is like a whirlwind and his vocabulary is pretty spectacular. His mind is fucking fantastic. You have an outstanding memory and tend to pick up a lot of information from your environment. You love to exchange ideas. He likes to pick people’s minds, and find someone who can really keep up with him.
You are focused on day to day activities in communications rather than grander philosophies. Unless one on one. You are naturally curious and interested, and others find you very easy to talk to. He’s good at seeming like he’s listening so people feel like they can open up to him even if he’s going to forget what you said in the next breath. You are accommodating and curious, but you are not as well equipped to deal with heavy emotional demands. I feel like his first instinct would be to shut down or escape somehow if things got really bad and there wasn’t a readily available solution. You thrive on change and variety. Okay. You are simply very curious about others. On the surface, I’d say yes, unless he really cares about you. He might just be curious about you, asking you questions and stuff just to have something to say.
There is a twinkle in your eyes, and you are never short on humor. You are playful and versatile. You make a fun companion and an interesting friend. Yes. You listen! Yes, you do take and occasionally interrupt in your excitement, but you are a curious person who does want to hear what others have to say.
You are more able than most to get others talking, simply because you are very receptive and sympathetic. You feel like he’s listening to you, and that he’s paying attention and genuinely wants to know about you and your life. You pick up other’s feelings and body language readily. I’d say he’s really good at reading a room.
            12 Square Moon-Venus
Because you value harmony, you may find yourself giving in to others too easily, especially in the first half of your life. He has such a strong backbone in nearly everything except for his romantic relationships. He wants someone so badly that he gives in to people who use him, who don’t appreciate who he really is, and so, he compromises where he probably shouldn’t.
Resentment is possible, as you can feel that you are the one who seems to do all the acquiescing. Arguments would spring up because of this. He would feel like he is the one who constantly gives while everyone else just takes.
There can be a distinct tendency to become friends and lovers with people too readily, simply because there is a strong need for approval and a hunger for receiving affection. Like I just said. He could care less about approval in any other part of his life, except for in his love life. As such, you may get involved with people who seem to really like you, and you fail to consider whether you actually like them back. Okay, Originals chick was a fluke, and no one can tell me otherwise. He needed someone to take the heat off the crazies and his broken heart and she was convenient. Is that harsh???
It’s somewhat of a weakness, as you are very charmed by the idea that someone seems to really like and appreciate you. He wants someone who needs him, appreciation has little to do with it. He wants someone dependent on him, at least a little, so that he is sure that they aren’t going to leave.
Generally, one of your life’s lessons is to learn to discriminate more and to get in touch with what you truly want and need. He thinks he needs one thing even though he really needs something completely different.
You may find yourself compromising your own emotional needs to find and keep love. I can see this for sure.
There can be conflicts in partnerships about parenting or whether or not to have a family. You may find yourself compromising perhaps too much so, as you can easily be taken advantage of. This has made him sound like he doesn’t know what he’s doing, but he does. Louis is smart, he is conscious of all this, he just chooses to ignore it.
Insecurity is something that you need to deal with at some point in your life.
Very sensual. You can also be quite sexually active and sometimes quite lustful. His venus is in Scorpio, so…. You possess a distinct lazy streak. He does what he wants, everything else no matter how essential can fall by the wayside for all he cares.
            109 Trine Moon-Mars
Although your emotions are powerful and immediate, your passion is generally controlled and directed. To the letter. You may have an affection and talent for sports. Hello, soccer. Do you think he’s one of those people who hate when people call it soccer instead of football?
He is frank, honest, full of vigor and ambition. He is strong-willed and powerful at work. He is a little hard on himself, but above all, on others whose capacity for action is not as great. I see him as being really hard on himself when he feels like he hasn’t done his best on something or especially if he feels like he has let someone down that he cares about.
  8 Square Moon-Pluto
He has intense emotions and passionate feelings. He fears the loss of control of emotional and domestic matters, and fears change. Which again is why he is back with an ex. He doesn’t want to let anyone else in, so he goes back with someone who knows everything about him, but he’s changed and the dynamics of that relationship will have changed as well. We don’t stay the same and our relationships are never the same when you go back in.
He attracts change and disruptions. He attracts trouble is what it is. The love life or marital life may be riddled with emotional sense, jealousy, and possessiveness because he attracts intense partners. Again, he is a Venus in Scorpio, he will attract all the crazies, but that might be just what he needs, not the crazies, but a crazy.
  Mercury in Sagittarius
He has strong opinions and often shares them. A complete inability to keep his mouth shut. Democrat, philosopher, tolerant, respectful of laws. Interested in foreign places. Truman Show. Believes that everything teaches you something. I hope he does or with all the horrible luck he has he would go insane.
  Mercury in 7th
Hates being along. HATES BEING ALONE. He has lots of friends, likes to discuss and similarly has a lot of work friends. He has a lot of old friends that he has seemed to hold onto, and he seems to make new friends, work relationships easily, though how many of those personal relationships are genuine might be up for debate. But he seems smart enough that this shouldn’t really be a problem for him, I don’t think.
Likes to write. Yup. You have a great love of debate, if only to get closer to your own thoughts and opinions. He likes to prove he’s right and if that means having to argue with someone to prove it then so be it. Communication with a partner is craved, and you also love an audience for your own thought and opinions, but preferably a one-person audience, as you come alive verbally when it’s one-on-one. He needs to click like this with someone. You know when you talk to someone new and you’re going through things to find a common thread, and then they say they like this show and you thought you were only person who like that show, and you just feel that click, and then you’re talking like you’ve known each other for years? And that person is officially your new best friend. Yeah, he needs someone like that.
You can be quite skilled at keeping a partnership animated and alive with interesting tidbits, new ideas, and stimulating conversation. The boy is made for long-term relationships. You can easily become bored in partnerships if the lines of communication go down, even temporarily. Like dating fake people he might lust after, but doesn’t even really like.
You might also love to talk about and analyze relationships and marriage. Everyone elses’ and his own, because if something is to go wrong then he wants to know about even the possibility of it in advance.
  84 Conjunction Mercury-Mars
He likes to discuss, likes polemic. He likes bouncing from one subject to the next and finding someone who keep up with his train of thought. He has good judgment and is determined. Very determined. He is a worker and has lots of energy. He has a lively intelligence and goes to the heart of things. He doesn’t like B.S. He is enthusiastic, incisive, and energetic in thought and speech. He likes to talk. He loves to communicate and share. And that’s brilliant.
            21 Square Mercury-Jupiter
He is frivolous and imprudent. $900 for a flannel t-shirt, babe, what the heck? He is full of self-importance. He doesn’t think anyone is better than him at the things that he is good at. He doesn’t lack for confidence, that’s for sure.
  Venus in Scorpio
Venus in Scorpio people attract others with their intensity and willingness to commit. Be my baby. He loves quick and craves commitment. Their actions in love tend to promise deep commitment and sexual pleasure, even if they are not telling you this directly. Seduces you in every way possible, but with his words first. Their appeal lies in their focus on you, and their dedication. Those eyes. Potential lovers get the feeling that Venus in Scorpio will never stray, that they are intensely loyal to the one they love. He seems very committed. They possess you, and somehow make it seem attractive to be possessed. Yes, please.
These people are very focused on their partners. Solely, completely. They have a strong need to control their partner, although this won’t be immediately apparent, and they may not ever admit to this. This is how he keeps some semblance of control in a relationship where giving up control is how you form deeper bonds in the first place.
Their emotion and intensity may seem overdone to those looking for a more lighthearted relationship. He wants to get married, to have a solid commitment that isn’t easy to get out of. Although, they want to explore all of your nooks and crannies, they won’t always be forthcoming with their own. Not in the beginning anyway.
When you’ve upset these lovers, you’ll know it. A complete blowout, a temper tantrum. Depending on the moment, Venus in Scorpio will shoot you one of the most piercing glares around, or totally blow up. Whichever style they choose, a slighted Scorpio lover is not a pretty sight. Quite a few songs prove this, don’t they?
They are experts at cutting through all the fluff and seeing you for what you are. Still, you may find their conclusions about you seem skewed and mistrustful. Cause he’s been burned quite badly before.
Pleasing Venus in Scorpio involves demonstrating your complete commitment and loyalty to them. He needs this. Let them feel they own you, without taking it to extremes. Words help. Just talk to him, tell him how you feel, communicate. Remember, though, that some Venus in Scorpio lovers can and will take advantage of you on a subtle level, if only to keep you all to themselves. Just be your own person and don’t put up with their crap because I think he can be sneaky when he wants to be.
Sensual and passionate. Passions run hot and cold. If they can tell you don’t really care. Full of ardor and desire where the partner needs to be able to match his level. On every level. If disappointed or deceived in love, he can become bitter. Which is what I think has happened unfortunately.
  Venus in 6th
He may be devoted to sick of poor people. Not everyone can have a passion here. Everyone could learn the basic bookwork to be classified as a nurse, but it takes a very specific kind of person to love it. The same applies in this field of giving back.
Might work in a medical or social settling, where he meets their partner, who is a great help professionally. Regardless, they will help him professionally. Someone in the industry, a fellow writer, or a song writer, musician or something like that.
Being of service to a partner is especially important to you. He needs to feel useful, essential. In fact, you might go to great lengths to be available at all costs to a loved one. Even if it hurts him. While you may not be flowery or showy when it comes to expressing love, you show your love by your availability, rendering services, doing practical things for a loved one, and other thoughtful “little” things. Like a real partner would not some fantasy character. He would take care of someone like a long term partner would, practical displays.
Many of you are talented at design work, as you appreciate and pay much attention to all of the little parts that make up a whole. He knows how stuff is supposed to fit together. Selling yourself short may be something that keeps you from going after what and who you want. Which is ridiculous because he’s lovely.
  3 Opposition Venus-Ascendant
He goes to excess in his pleasures, frequents doubtful company. Open to bad company when he’s not thinking properly. He lacks good taste. Flighty choice in some partners. He is very spendthrift, but spreads his money around his circle. Didn’t he buy Stanley a car? His friends are more self-interested than sincere. Café Astrology burns again. I think his good friends are good friends, but sometimes he’s not aware enough to tell the difference.
  Mars in Sagittarius
They don’t have a lot of patience to wait things out. He is more of an action type of person. They generally have a lot of projects going at once. A girl group, a solo career, trying to get a tv gig, family life, etc…. Most of the time Mars in Sagittarius is playful and fun loving. Very. They love friendly debates, although they can go to extremes. Some take it personally when you don’t agree with them, why wouldn’t you agree, after all? He genuinely believes he is right 99.9999999999% of the time.
Mars in Sagittarius loves to “wing it”. Mars in Sagittarius people see themselves as warm-blooded folk. They are, but they sometimes run roughshod over other’s feelings during their more passionate debates. Because he wants to win at all costs. They can be blunt with people. When he’s feeling frustrated, yeah, probably.
Sometimes they seem to be the most easy going people, they love a good joke and a good time, other times they are on fire, intense and impassioned about something or other. They abhor anything that fences them in. They need to feel like thy have space. They’re the ones who will run away when things get to serious or dull. On a bad day, maybe. He’ll have to learn some way of overcoming this. Mars in Sagittarius is used to getting their way and persuading others to believe in what they believe in. HIM.
  Mars in 7th
He dominates his associates, colleagues. Friends. He is the same in love life, dominating the spouse and this makes for a stormy relationship in prospect. If they don’t put up with it, which they shouldn’t. He’s more of pushover then people think, especially with those he cares for.
  28 Square Mars-Jupiter
He refuses to accept any guidance. From anyone that wasn’t his mother. He feels no duty to anyone now. He’s his own boss, he feels no authority for anyone. And that can be dangerous for someone like him. He lacks forethought, acts impulsively and sometimes imprudently, which can cause problems. He wants everything yesterday and uses whatever means necessary to achieve his objectives. If he thinks it’s important enough. Even if they are dishonest or not very commendable. His emotional life is fraught with quarrels and sometimes violent conflicts. He’s got a tough life, full of self-doubt and people who want to use him. This is also a time where café astrology literally predicted the future.
            Jupiter in Virgo
Practical and technical knowledge and skills are most valued. A real problem solver and others appreciate his help. Doesn’t always feel lucky or especially ambitious. Rather, hard work is valued.
  Jupiter in 5th
He likes games and distractions. He has passion which lights up his days. Music. He is lucky in love, but also professionally, with pleasant working conditions and duties. The whole One Direction thing was pretty darn lucky if you ask me.
  47 Trine Jupiter-Uranus
He knows what’s going on at a glance. Super flipping smart. He is a good organizer. Uh,….no. He is very agreeable company.
  40 Trine Jupiter-Neptune
He is very generous and altruistic, helping people in difficulty or sick people. He knows how to listen or, at least, how to give that impression. Sometimes he listens, most of the time he waits to talk, but he is always observing. He is a dreamer, with lots of imagination. Why he writes so well. He likes the Arts. Like music, movies, television.
  Saturn in Aquarius
Bad luck. You could say that again. Poor guy. How many hits can someone possibly take? But he’s a fighter, I’ll give him that. Adversity. Who hasn’t taken a jab at Louis? But he keeps that smart mouth and the fans have always and will always, I think, have his back. Problems. More money more problems. Disappointed hopes. If he doesn’t succumb to his disappointments he could be great, and have a better future than he ever could have imagined.
  Saturn in 10th
His up-bringing is rigorous. He was responsible at a young age. A lot of flickering figures in his life, it’s amazing how steady he actually is. His professional life is all-important. He is serious, methodical, persevering. He will adapt and survive no matter what. He wants to have power, to succeed and has all the necessary qualities to achieve this objective, by taking one step at a time. There’s no need to rush it’s like learning to fly or falling in love……
    Uranus in Capricorn
A great battler. He has so much power, that one things nothing can defeat him. He seems very strong. His only enemy is himself.
  Uranus in 9th
Interested in humanity. He is highly intellectual. His mind is always alert, even when sleeping, during which time he often resolves the problems of the previous day. The kid is brilliant, no one can tell me otherwise. He may not have done great in school, but that was indifference not stupidity.
  Neptune in Capricorn
He is discerning, wise and sensible.
  Neptune in 9th
Interest in art, has high ideals. For himself. Big dreams. Go big or go home.
  Pluto in Scorpio
              Great sexual activity. I bet.
  Ascendant in Gemini
They are curious about the people around them. He wants to be the king, and that means knowing your people. Gemini is mostly interested in moving about in their social circles. These are people who love to ask questions, to move around freely, and to mingle. Nosy. Definitely restless and often quick in physical expression, natives of the Gemini Ascendant exude an air of impatience even if they don’t mean it. It’s like he always has something better to do.
In fact, there is a cleverness to Gemini Ascendants that can intimidate some. Clever, brilliant…how long must I sing his praises. He’s so, so smart. Their facility with words can be a wonderful asset. Writer. A certain lack of warmth in presentation can be the result, and although this style is generally a façade, it is not immediately apparent to most. Hard outside, soft center.
He is bubbly, changeable, talkative, and a little quirky. These natives are fun and interesting. They constantly explain things, whether it’s their own behavior and opinion or those of the world around them. Hello. He is rather cool and quite witty and clever. Hello again. Their observations are sharp and the overall manner is a tad brusque. Very professional. Their powers of observation are well-developed, they are mentally active, more often than not, their minds are racing, and they almost always have something bright or witty to say. I love it.
It is easy for individuals with this position to get sidetracked, as they curiosity is large, their minds are quick, and their attention spans rather short. Yup. As children, natives born with Gemini Ascendant are often labeled as the intellectual, inquisitive and perhaps odd child. Needs improvement. They enjoy intellectual debates and exchanging ideas.
  House 2 in Gemini
Financial success will be acquired thanks to various activities, frequent changes, be it of the activity of the workplace. He’s a jack of all trades in his chosen field. He can writer, sing, manage. He could write and produce the best songs in the industry if he put his mind to it.
He is required to use his wits to amass money, which is not always easy. He made a place for himself in the band, make himself indispensable, creatively and also in his relationships with the others. They’ve all said he is the one they run to when they need advice or whatever. He makes people feel like there is no other option as long as he’s around because no one could be better than him.
  House 3 in Cancer
Any travel that he does will be to visit family or friends. England and L.A. He’d go anywhere for someone he loved. I genuinely believe this. Family and dear ones are very important to him, they can always count on him in times of difficulty or trouble. For any of his siblings or close friends/family he would be there for them no matter what, eighteen feet of snow, ten horribly long flights, Godzilla, whatever it takes he would be there.
Nostalgia is strong. Just an excuse for his hoarding. He usually thinks before speaking. Uh…. He does, he just says what he wants. If he thinks something then he’s going to tell you. If he’s angry or upset you’re going to know about it.
  House 4 in Cancer
Reveres family life, children have a large place in his heart. He adores his family. Believe in Magic Ball. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had an allotted sum that he wanted to give to this specific charity before he died, and figured he had to do it then just in case because that was very generous. He is by nature calm, affectionate, delicate and tender. When you get to know that side of him. If no other piece of his life is in harmony then he wants his home to be. Values peace and calm in the home. Is nostalgic and collects things of sentimental value. HOARDER.
  House 5 in Leo
Can only love an honest, upright, and intelligent person. Likes to admire his spouse. A sincere, stable and faithful love. Refined education. Yes, someone classy.
  House 6 in Virgo
Jobs in the medical or paramedic fields suit him the best. His momma was a nurse. He very well could have followed in her footsteps, maybe like a physical therapist or gym teacher.
  House 7 in Sagittarius
Either marriage with a foreigner, or a marriage abroad, or marriage with a foreigner abroad. MARRIAGE WITH A FOREIGNER ABROAD.
  House 8 in Sagittarius
Death will certainly be in a foreign land or on a journey aborad. Nevertheless this will happen after a long life, when the body is too exhausted to continue. Easy death.
  House 9 in Capricorn
Respects the religion in which he was brought up as a child, still holds this belief. Unless someone truly makes it mean something to him as an adult.
  House 10 in Capricorn
Someone who is completely trusted at work. Resepctable, irreproachable in his work and moral qualities, scrupulous and praiseworthy. He knows what he’s doing and people trust him because he’s good. That good.
  House 11 in Aquarius
Like to re-make the world with his friends. He wants to talk things out with someone, needs to do that to feel like the world is okay. He needs someone to bounce ideas off of, and to know that someone seems to think the way he does, and give him new ideas. These discussions can last the whole night, and with the ideal world created, he can retire to bed.
  House 12 in Pisces.
Contradictions, and inner torments or harassments are possible. He feels the weight of the world on his shoulders, so yeah he feels some inner torment. However, this is a good position for psychic awareness, helping others less fortunate. I think by the end of his life he really wants to have helped a group of people. He loves kids and has worked with hospice groups in the past, and he could really make a difference.
Credit entirely to Café Astrology. They did all the heavy lifting. I am not an astrologer, just a fan. Clearly. I also do not own One Direction, or any of it's members as of yet.
