Do you think we will see the night island on the show?

selfishly shouting a very loud YES. if anybody did not know this already: a writer for interview with the vampire wrote a mini tv-series about night island. assad even posted about it on his story. this was the announcement:

could have been cancelled due to the writers’ strike or iwtv could end up absorbing its plot. now to ME, this confirms that it exists in the universe we have - meaning armand has already built it for daniel. it’s also a relevant location in qotd; the vampires meet up there to discuss akasha. some people theorize this is where armand is at after the events of s2 and considering that this mini-series would have aired after s2 originally. well!

the existence of night island does tie into the idea that parts of devil’s minion have already occurred. the way i envision any possible past devil’s minion is as an affair (remember how they call themselves secret lovers?) loumand has an open relationship but daniel is different. the idea of armand building this extravagant shopping resort for daniel, to spoil and protect him in his armand way, but also to hide daniel because daniel is the mistress. night island left abandoned in the wake of whatever could’ve possibly existed and ended between armand and daniel feels too good for the show to pass up. just…yea so fucking good to me. overindulgence, cocaine, miami, a luxury prison you can’t remember - night island has it all for me!!

iwtv ep. 11 (s2ep4) misconceptions pt. 2

i don’t know why it is so hard for this fandom to read louis’s feelings.  you could say the show doesn’t make it easy, but it’s not hard to see, i think. here’s a moment that (to me) confirms that louis knows he’s in love with armand:

even though he doesn't want to call him a companion, this glance shows that louis associates love with armand.  at the same time, he doesn’t know enough about armand to think he can be vulnerable.  louis’s interaction with the art dealer seems to be the first time he considered armand being “fragile”:

when louis learns about armand's backstory, louis instantly sympathizes with armand, similar to how louis sympathizes with lestat in ep 6.

i still see people act like louis laughs at or mocks armand in this scene, and again, i think people prioritize lestat's words over louis's and fail to pay attention to how louis reacts in real time. dreamstat changes from matching louis's expression to contrasting with it. this is a sign dreamstat is losing his influence:

feel like this is not unclear. feel like i'm just telling you shot by shot what happens. but that's what i need to do apparently? like please pay attention. i'm tired of seeing y'all be wrong.
