Strabimon is a brilliant Plutomon Rookie! That's such an intriguing concept, I'm going to probably rotate it around my brain for a few hours.

I’ve been rotating this idea in my head for a few days since I got to Plutomon too

I think the line generally would also change, I think having the Perfect level be specifically Cerberumon Werwolf Mode rather than Cerberumon would make sense.

I am super stuck on the Adult level though… A lot of the good canine Adult options either don’t feel right (Lobomon, Dogmon, Lighdramon, BlackGaogamon, BlackGalgomon) or are already taken/similar to other characters in game (Fangmon, BlackGarurumon, Youkomon, Sangloupmon). I’m leaning towards either just keeping it Dobermon or potentially Dobermon X? Idk.

Anyway as for the actual AU I just love the idea of Aoi surviving. Like killing her is an “easy” way to solve the problem, but here she isn’t one that just goes away. At least not without having to make the conscious decision to kill her when she’s already no longer a threat. And I just like the idea of her slowly recovering, even if she’s fundamentally different now in more ways than one :)

i got a ps5 for christmas :) but no games. a few days ago on my birthday my mother ordered bloodborne for me and said she wanted to try it too. it just came in today and I think she has decided she'd rather just watch me and enjoyed the little bit I played. happy to finally get to play this game ; x ; I didn't play too much bc my mother and i spent way to long in the character creator laughing and now I need to eat dinner. I'll probably play some more later tonight.

oh my god. i was born to answer this question. buckle in we are here to talk about:

you don't get a boat but you DO get to use an airplane as a boat and i think that's important

THE THEMES. ff7 is about self-discovery and identity as much as it is radical environmentalism, oppression and industrialization, memory and the self, faith and leadership, and wielding a giant fucking sword to protect your friends

the characters are iconic for a reason, and they are all so delightfully weird. beyond sadboy edgelord cloud, you've got a robot cat and a wise lion-dog and a guy who is plausibly not a vampire but definitely reads like one and a jaded astronaut pilot who loves his not-wife so much. they're ridiculous. i love them so so much

banging music (seriously it WHIPS)

there are parts of it that haven't aged well, for sure, but it's got so much heart? it's messy and complicated and can be unclear at times, but it cares about its setting and characters while knowing just how silly it can be. it's really refreshing to have a narrative that does the most with what it has and acknowledges its weaknesses. it is 26 years old and it shows, but it's an iconic game for a reason
