Wait where are you seeing the banner leaks? I've been refreshing the reddit for days and nothing has come out. Fjjrjf

i get leak discussions on basically every social media platform i go to, i literally cannot run from them, so i just kinda cross reference the most realistic ones or note when some leaks crop up multiple times from different sources

basically, why i am currently clutching my primos (or my lack thereof) is because 4.6 potentially sees the release of arlecchino + furina and shenhe reruns

at first i didn’t believe the arle leaks bc i thought it was strange to have her released three updates after the fontaine archon quest ended

the furina rerun makes sense in my eyes, seeing as neuvillette is leaked to rerun in 4.5 + we know archons rerun pretty quickly again (they both kind of are the archon/god, so i guess they both get that privilege)

shenhe’s rerun (or my speculation thereof) has to do with the start of region banners we are rumoured to see in 4.5 with the mondstadt banner (ft. albedo, klee and eula); the mechanics of a banner like that are heavily discussed atm which is why the livestream next week (?) will probably be interesting

if those kind of banners become reality, having a liyue banner in 4.6 would be logical; my guess would be shenhe, ganyu and hu tao for the characters on it (since i don’t think archons would be on it, xiao just reran, shenhe+ ganyu just had new skins and i don’t like baizhu and don’t even want to entertain that i could accidentally get him)

also since hoyo is mean (/lh), i wouldn’t put it past them to put another character from my wish list in this update by putting lyney right next to arlecchino (+ we haven’t seen him since 4.0) but that is pure speculation and dread on my part

this is a lil snippet from a differnt segment of the 3+1 TK & Andrea fic I’ve been working on

As TK Reyes-Strand walks past the window of a local bookstore, he backtracks to take a second look at the table of jigsaw puzzles on display.

Amongst the safari animals, capital cities, and world monuments is a puzzle of a kitchen where someone has been baking. It reminds him of his mother-in-law’s kitchen, a place of warmth, laughter—though there’s been less and less of that in recent months—and a rarely empty oven.

He hasn’t seen the once familiar fixture of a puzzle spread across the table at her house in recent months—not since losing Gabriel—but something compels TK to buy it for her anyway.

A few hours later, armed with a Tupperware of cookies—his mom’s secret recipe—a box of Andrea’s favourite tea and the puzzle, TK raises his hand to knock at the front door, but before his knuckles can make contact, the door swings open to reveal Andrea beaming back at him.

“TK! It’s so good to see you. Come in, come in.” She beckons him inside, her arms open wide to embrace him in a motherly hug. “To what do I owe the pleasure, mijo?”

META + TOPIC.

Assuming he's got something water-proof on, he very much enjoys storms. The atmosphere, the smell, the sounds — all of it. Petrichor is his favorite scent, and he loves being able to move about the world with an even lower chance of others noticing him. When the area is storming it feels like another cloak of invisibility, and it's comforting to him.

He also likes sitting somewhere covered and dry and watching the storm outside. It's very peaceful to him. The heavier the rain that accompanies it, the better.

That said, he isn't so fond of snowstorms. Reminds him too much of Kariio.

Strangely enough, today I feel in the zone writing-wise so I might try my luck at emptying my inbox completely now that I'm sitting on just 5 asks! I might also continue with the AQ post series for Dain and finish Requiem of the Echoing Depths and post more memes if I do end up writing those 5 asks left. Feels good to be productive again.

Thanks for the warnings! Fortunately, I haven't really seen anything in the way of spoilers yet, but I'll be extremely careful moving forward.

1. Well, since I'm not sure my previous speculation that one of Lilith's main goals is to help Eda with her curse really counts after Episode 11 practically confirmed that she very much considers her sister's health a priority, let's see...

The first theory that comes to mind is that recent bit of speculation I had based on Episode 15: considering that Amity's parents are rich and powerful, and apparently "work with" Boscha and Skara's parents, I think there's reason to suspect that some of these mysterious parents hold prominent positions in some of the major covens. They might even be coven leaders!

I don't really have much information on societal hierarchy in the Boiling Isles at the moment, so I'm not sure if there are other occupations that could potentially grant witches that kind of social power. For example, is hand hair lady's position unique, or are there other people serving directly under the Emperor outside of his coven? I'm not sure at this point. But since a lot of what witches are capable of doing is defined by the covens they're in, it seems likely that people in positions of power in a coven, especially one of the covens with the greatest reputations would have a lot of social influence... which is definitely something that Amity's parents have more than enough of.

Outside of this, most of my thoughts on the show tend to fall into the categories of "not enough information to formulate a theory", such as anything to do with Emperor Belos or Eda's curse, or "things that I probably shouldn't speculate on because some of the information I have comes from a spoiler", which... actually includes my thoughts on Amity's parents, technically. I think I vaguely remember a spoiler about Amity's family having some significant connection to a coven - in fact, I'm pretty sure that was the context of me hearing about the word "coven" prior to watching the show. But let's ignore that and pretend I'm basing my theory purely on what I've seen in the show so far!

2. I just want to clarify here that normally, I prefer to be given as little information as possible about future episodes. But in this particular case, considering how excited one of my siblings has been about this episode, it's hard not to get the impression that it was probably a good one!
