i hear the sunspot has brought me to tears once again. that ep was beautiful, and after talking about how i was excited to see how taichi handled dealing with this situation, im so happy with what we got from him this episode.

what i love about how they developed taichi this ep is that nothing was sudden. taichi takes the whole ep to process everything and basically gets back to the place where he was before, friendship with kohei, which on the face of it doesn’t look like progress at all, but if kohei’s reaction to that expression of friendship is anything to go by, my god does it mean the world. the way taichi’s thoughts have developed are so significant for him and for the story, and also so beautifully and simply taichi. every time the camera is on him, you can see him processing exactly the way he described at the end of the ep, he keeps on trying to find a reason to be mad or angry or to avoid kohei and he just can’t find it, so he simply isn’t mad, he’s good, they’re friends. nothing that kohei says or does is enough to upset him or enough to want to push kohei away. and no, i don’t think at this point he’s quite got to the point of understanding if his own feelings are more than friendship, but he understands that for kohei, his feelings are more than friendship, and he’s alright with that, that’s kind of the whole concept of the ep and it’s so beautifully conveyed bc they keep on going back to the idea of hearing and listening which, for a show with a hard of hearing character, is even more poignant. multiple times we get them asking each other “did you hear that?” and we also get multiple times of taichi speaking or calling for kohei and kohei not hearing, which is ironic bc it’s taichi in this situation that needs to do the listening and understand kohei’s feelings. the whole point of the exchange on the stairs is that, bless him, taichi is a little bit dense, or to put it more kindly, he didn’t have all the facts and understanding he needed to know what exactly happened and what was meant during their exchange under the bridge. he didn’t understand the different ways the miho situation could be misunderstood, and he also didn’t understand just what kohei was trying to tell him, bc the confession was wrapped up in all these other feelings about his hearing getting worse which taichi didn’t know about. through the ep we see him learn these things and try to put them together, but on the stairs he says just please make it clear to me, I can’t understand if you don’t say it. it funnily echoes the sentiment of what he told kohei in an earlier ep, if you can’t hear, ask someone to say it again, louder. except here, it’s if you don’t understand what someone says, ask them to say it again, clearly. so kohei does, or more, he speaks through his actions (and no, I don’t think the cut away kiss was a cop out, at least in this situation, bc it conveys the way taichi reacted to it, being he didn’t know what to do or say or handle it, it’s like it just happened in a blink of an eye, or almost didn’t happen, yet we all know it did, and such it can’t be forgotten or passed over in taichi’s thoughts as he begins to understand how he feels for kohei) so that taichi can understand clearly.

i also wanna point out how i love what they did with sound in this ep, especially the scene on the stairs and the scene in the club room leading up to it. taichi is talking about kohei, but you can also hear sound from elsewhere, like it’s some club practicing music outside. so as he starts to open up about how he feels about kohei, he pauses to shut the window and we lose that outside sound. it’s taichi wanting to close out the outside or listening ears as he opens up bc he’s saying things he’s not fully ready to talk about or express, his feelings for kohei. that’s when we get kohei coming to the door and overhearing, he’s broken in to the room taichi sealed off, but instead of reacting badly, he pursues kohei, and such as we get to the stairs we hear the outside sound again, of the music being practised, bc when faced with kohei and him avoiding him again, he overcomes that fear of expression and goes after him, he admits things out in the open. it’s such a subtle but masterful way of conveying how taichi’s inner thoughts were working in that moment while also playing with the shows theme of sound. just stunning.

and i also really loved one of taichi’s lines in particular. “I kept thinking… how i wished how i would forget to eat”. this one got me bad, bc it’s such a good way for him to express what he means without just saying it point blank. taichi is perpetually a hungry boy, we know that, and that’s how he got to know kohei, through food, both their first encounter was bc of food and their friendship developed through sharing lunch, through kohei feeding him. we also always see his stomach rumble, a reminder of this hunger he can’t control, but is obvious nevertheless. so when he says he wished he would forget to eat, he’s saying he wished he could forget something that is so simple and standard to your day but is so important, just like kohei. he’s connected food to kohei and now he can’t even have a meal without it reminding it of him, and more so, when he’s hungry and wants something to eat, he thinks first of the food kohei gives him. the desire is linked to him bc he’s the one that satiates it. and just like he can’t forget to eat, just like how his stomach rumbles from hunger despite not wanting to think about food, he can’t forget kohei. and his stomach rumbling becomes this proxy for the way that, even though he wishes he could, he simply can’t not think about him, his body, his heart, goes against what his brain wants. and bc like hunger, kohei is something he can’t ignore, so he goes out and fixes it, he eats, and he sees kohei. now if that isn’t mastery of metaphor, i don’t know what is.

and my final shoutout is for kohei’s mom bc she’s literally just the best. i really love that they’re showing that kohei has a very normal home life and his mom isn’t overprotective or cautious of him. she treats him so normally and lets him make his own decisions even when they aren’t right, like we don’t know what their relationship was like early on when his hearing first went, but kohei didn’t have the best time and isolated himself, and as his mom, it’s hard for her to help in that kind of situation, she can’t force kohei to socialise and she can’t force people to be friends with him, so it must’ve hurt, so now that kohei is talking about this friend, you can see how happy it makes her, and when she sees them become distant, she doesn’t overly interfere, she talks to taichi simply when he turns up at their house and just asks him to not give up where others have, and for kohei, the simple act of still making 2 lunchboxes even though kohei probably at some point told her he’d only need 1 now, and she doesn’t overtly ask him to talk to taichi, she just does it as this in case, like if kohei gets the courage to talk to taichi, now he’ll have a reason to talk to him, something to offer, something to break the tension and make it easier. it’s only a small thing she can do, but she does it bc that’s her way of helping. she treats kohei like an adult that can do as he decides and make mistakes, she lets him go to hospital appointments by himself bc we can see he can handle it, he’s fine, but you just know that if it got too much for him, she’d be there for him in an instant. i just love how they manage to show the care and love in that relationship without having to make anything dramatic, bc dramatics don’t mean always mean you care more, and this is proof.

anyway we’re getting a trip next week and everything always happens when boys go on a trip so i cannot wait.

Hello Viper, I’m excited about your smoothie! Yesterday I had a veggie one. I don’t eat vegetables… I usually drink them.

No need to be shy. I am… A lifeless dork. A shut in. So, I know about a lot of animanga related things. Otome especially. The anime was horrible, but I love the music they used. I used to sing along with the opening of the first season. The game is phenomenal. Again, a bit problematic because it’s… Mildly sexist. I actually like The Great Ayato and his bullying… I’m sorry my breasts are tiny… I’ll pray for them to grow so you’ll be happy my lord… Ahem… The English voice acting is horrible. I watched it only in Japanese because I couldn’t stand how lifeless they sounded in English. To my knowledge, and I may be wrong, the game is fully voice acted. You just need a translator.

I do secretly write for DiaLove. I was planning to only post it on Wattpad. I wanted to make a big story called ‘Juice Box’ but I never figured out who I wanted to be the main interest. Since the anime follows Ayato’s storyline heavily, it didn’t feel fair to the other potential routes. But I do sometimes write little oneshots. I just never post them since DiaLove is so niche now. I hope it stays niche. If TikTok discovered it and some of my other favorite games I would rip my heart from my chest and cannibalize myself.

I actually like Twilight a lot. I have a friend who owns the books and I want to finish reading soon. I watched the movies! I say problematic because the boys are pretty sexist and there is a lot of nonconsensual harassment and touching. Also the neck biting scenes are very intimate and have been suggested to be an allegory for sex depending on the scene. Again, usually nonconsensual because Yui/MC has no backbone. There’s also the Mukami brothers + Shin and Carla but usually I focus on the Sakami family… Ahhhhh but no one will stop me from moaning about Yuma. I want to be his stupid sow… I don’t mind… Treat me like livestock and feed me sugar cubes… Ahhhh his abuse feels so good~ Ah- I mean… I don’t condone this stuff outside of fantasy. But USA Nintendo doesn’t want their image ruined by horny vampires.

There are… I think… Three moms? Karl had a few wives, some at the same time cause he’s freaky as hell. One of them actually… The reason Laito acts the way he does… His mom was doing things with him that she shouldn’t. And she does not feel bad about it. But she dies so… We win… Sorta… I love Kanato’s bad ending he’s so odd and sweet at the same time. The game is just one giant rollercoaster of ‘please don’t let me die here I forgot to save again’ and ‘oh the moaning sounds are making me excited…’

I apologize for rambling… I really do love Diabolik Lovers. And because I discovered it at an impressionable age… I’ve turned into a SadoMas. Ian had been acting weird.

Weirder than normal that is.

Mickey had been worried for the last few week. He was staying out late, going to the gym more and they weren’t bangin’. Mickey had half a mind to think Ian was cheating on him.

He knows that can’t be true. Ian wouldn’t do that to him. Not after all they’ve been through. Not since they’re husbands now. He wouldn’t.

But once that ugly little green monster climbs on your back it’s hard to get off.

So when they went clubbing one night and he overheard, what was probably innocent flirting, he just about lost his shit. It’s not uncommon for Ian to flirt, it’s just what he did and it usually got them free drinks. But this guy, he wasn’t the type Ian typically went for.

He was tall with sandy blonde hair, and tanned skin. He had a sharp as fuck jaw line and the skin tight tank top he was wearing didn’t leave much to the imagination of his muscular body. He was hot. And that’s not saying Mickey wasn’t hot. But this guy…he was hot in every way that Mickey wasn’t.

Ian was quiet for a minute, eyes scanning over his husbands face before speaking. “I’m not ready to go yet, Mick. I wanna dance and do something fun, what’s wrong with fun-”

Mickey’s breath hitched, and he stumbled back a step but Ian reached out to catch him, steadying his body but not his racing heart. Immediately realizing what he said.

Mickey completely drowned out what Ian was saying after that. I’m bored. Im sick of doing those things. Our things. Mickey shook his head and took a step back from Ian.

“I’m gonna go home,” He said suddenly, hearing the crack in his own voice, watched the confusion twist Ian’s face but he just took another step back.

“Mick-”

“No. It’s, uh, it’s cool. You stay here, have your fucking fun and I’ll go home and doing boring shit by myself,” His voice shook as he spoke and he didn’t know if it was anger or hurt. Maybe it was both and Ian was reaching for him again.

“I didn’t mean it like that, Mickey. I want you here with me,” Ian stressed.

“Why? So I can sit off to the side while you flirt with fucking Josh?” Mickey sneered, and that was it huh? The real reason he was pissed off? Saw the realization in Ian’s face. Should have told him to shut the fuck up before he spoke knowing his husbands track record of saying shit he doesn’t need to say.

“That’s what this is about? Josh? Are you jealous?” Ian asked, his voice softening like it does when he trying to placate Mickey, like he’s got him all fucking figured out.

But then Mickey laughs and he’s not totally sure why. He has a stinging pain in his chest and he thinks he might cry. But he doesn’t. Instead he shakes his head again, brings his hand up to thumb at his nose before dropping it again and looks at Ian dead in the eye and nods.

“Yeah. You know what. Yeah I’m fucking jealous. You wanna know why?” Mickey asked but Ian only gets out a half wide eyed nod before Mickey’s continuing, “Because you’ve been staying out late as fuck every night, you’ve been at the gym nearly every day, and we haven’t fucked in weeks, Ian! Weeks!”

Ian stood there silently, stunned at his husbands out burst and Mickey wasn’t surprised when he opened his damn mouth.

“Haven’t banged in weeks? No way.” Ian shook his head and Mickey held back the urge to groan.

“Really? That’s what you took from that? Jesus, Ian,” Mickey sneered, halfway turning around before Ian stopped him.

“I’m serious. There’s no way it’s been weeks. We just fucked like last week,” Ian said it so confidently that Mickey just about reached out to smack him.

“Nah. Must had been some other dude you’re screwin’. Maybe Josh?” Mickey spat, yanking his arm out of a Ian’s grip. It could have been his own raging jealousy or the fact that Ian had cheated on him in the past but Mickey couldn’t help the pit in his belly when he said it.

“You don’t seriously think I’m cheating on you,” Ian rolled his eyes looking at Mickey expectantly but when all he got was a silent blue eyes stare in return he shook his head, eyes widening.

“You don’t seriously think I’m cheating on you, do you!?” Ian asked, his voice rising up in panic and Mickey almost felt bad about it. Almost opened his mouth and said something stupid himself like you’ve done it before. Or I know you were sick but you cheated on me and it fucked me up. But he didn’t. He stopped himself. Took a deep breath.

“You’ve been acting weird, man. The being gone late, hitting the gym daily out of no where, not bangin’ like horny bunnies anymore. We’ve never gone weeks without having sex, Ian. Not when we’re both together and healthy. And yes, weeks, last time we fuck was the quickie in the back of the ambulance,” Mickey’s voice was stressed, practically begging Ian to correct him, give him a reason, any reason to believe he wasn’t cheating. But nothing came. Ian’s face was frowning, and pinched and hurt. So Mickey continued.

“Is it me, man? Did I do something? Like fuckin’ am I too boring? Not givin’ it to you good enough? Fuckin gettin’ old don’t look as good as I use too—”

“Mickey, stop,” Ian cut him off, grabbing him and pulling him against his chest. Mickey went easily if only because he missed being so close to his husband, fucking sue him, okay?

“I’m not cheating on you, Mickey,” Ian whispered, kissing the top of his head before pulling away. Mickey snorted not looking at Ian but then those stupidly big hands were grabbing his face and forcing him to look up, thumbs wiping away tears he didn’t even know were there.

okay so first of all theres the average well known "flappy hands"

but she really likes it when she has sweaters with longer sleeves because then she can just flap them around

she doesnt have many vocal stims but she goes "ba ba ba" or just humming and singing sometimes

also running her hand on the bottom of her skateboard, and/or rolling the wheels

just being on her skateboard and swaying is a huge stim

chewing her shirt lmao

im also gonna say that she also stims by pressing on buttons and other stuff in the arcade. its just Nice To Do

also stims by kicking off of the ground on her skateboard. very nice

well this is gonna turn into adhd max rant get ready

she had adhd combined (like yours truly) and finds it hard to concentrate in class

she totally hyperfixated on video games at some point
