originally i was not going to make a part three to this series. like i had thought about it but never figured id actually write it. but here it is anyways! i actually kinda like the way this came out and i hope you all do too, or at least those that like the first two lol. and i know ive said it a few times before but i believe this is officially my longest one shot, coming in at a whopping 2620 words! yay! it doesnt feel that long though, i promise.

"I can't believe this is it."

I whispered to Chris as the principal gave his speech. We were all sat on the bleachers waiting for him to finish so we could take the graduating-class picture.

"Yeah if he'd ever shut up."

Chris torted back, making me giggle.

"Do you think he just likes to hear himself talk or what?"

I asked, Chris trying to stifle his laugh.

"No, no, I definitely think that's it."

He commented. Then one of the teachers started snapping in our direction, making both of us shy away.

"Now, the moment you've all been waiting for."

We watched as he got off the stage, the photographer coming up and getting us in the frame. A moment later it was done and everyone was getting back up to find their friends. I sighed as they all moved around us, loudly I might add. Then Chris nudged me.

"Hey, what are you doing after?"

I looked at him and shrugged.

"I don't know, I think Jack said something about going to lunch maybe? Did he call you?"

He frowned.

"No, he didn't."

I raised a brow, noticing jack climbing the bleachers to get to us with loud stomping motions.

"Dudes!"

He called, taking his graduation cap off and throwing it at me. I caught it, laughing at him as he smiled widely at us.

"Almost done!"

He said excitedly.

"One more day."

I noted, handing his cap back to him before taking my own off.

"You ready for lunch?"

He asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, we all going?"

I asked and his smile got a little smaller.

"I mean I guess, but I was hoping it could just be the two of us."

He said a little hopeful. I was a bit surprised.

"Oh i-"

Chris cleared his throat.

"That's okay, maybe we can do something after."

I looked at him a little disappointed.

"You sure?"

He nodded.

"Yeah, you two go ahead. I'll catch you later."

He stood up, clasped his hand into Jack's for a bro-huh, and hopped down the bleachers. I looked up at jack who had a huge smile on his face.

"Ready to go?"

He asked. I nodded and stood with his help.

"Yeah, let's hit it."

I sat across the table from Jack and pushed my fork around the plate.

"You okay?"

He asked, re-situating in the booth. I nodded slowly, not looking up at him.

"Yeah. I'm great."

I heard him sigh.

"Is it so bad that it's just the two of us?"

I looked up at him with wide eyes.

"No, of course not. I guess I just feel bad."

He laughed a little bit.

"Well in all fairness three is a crowd. And I was kinda hoping this could be like a, I don't know, a first date?"

I was very taken aback.

"Oh."

I said, looking back down to my plate.

"Unless that's not what you had in mind."

He said, making me look back up at him.

"Cause we could do other things. If that's what your into."

I shook my head.

"No, no, that's not it. I just. I guess I don't really see you like that, jack."

He frowned.

"Right. Cause I'm not good enough? Is that it?"

He hit the table before running his fingers through his hair. I was a little shocked.

"Of course that's it."

He said a little more angrily.

"i dont even know why i thought this would work. stupid."

I was getting kind of scared. He looked around the room, anywhere but me. He laughed to himself.

"Ya know what, I'm gonna go."

He nodded a few times before pulling his wallet out and dropping a twenty on the table. He stood abruptly, almost knocking his chair over.

"I'll see you at graduation."

I went to say something but he walked away and out the door before I could even try. I stared at the table until the waitress came back.

"Is everything okay over here?"

She asked.

"Can I get you anything else?"

I cleared my throat.

"Actually, do you have a phone I could use?"

I stood outside the restaurant with my arms crossed over my chest and waited. Jack had driven me there, I was just glad we had stopped at my house to drop my cap and gown off first so I didn't have to leave it in his car. Jack ass. I shook my head at the thought before seeing Chris pull into the parking lot. I sighed in relief, wiping the tear that had managed its way down my cheek. He pulled into the space in front of me and immediately got out, not even turning the engine off. I watched him as he walked quickly to me, leaving his door open.

"Hey, what happened?"

He asked trying to examine me. That's when I broke down, full blown crying, as he pulled me into him for a hug. I held him tightly as he rubbed my back.

"It's okay, hey, I'm here. I've got you."

He said softly as I cried into his chest. It was stupid to cry about it but I was scared. The anger on jacks face was unlike any of ever seen on him before, and when he left I had no idea what I was gonna do. I felt Chris kiss the top of my head before petting my hair lightly.

"It's okay. I've got you."

He said again. I pulled away and wiped my face.

"I'm fine."

I said through a Shakey voice. He looked so worried as he held my arms in his hands.

"You don't have to lie to me."

I shook my head.

"No, I'm fine, let's just go."

He nodded.

"Okay."

I stepped out of his grip and walked to the passenger side, getting in the car and buckling the seat belt, waiting patiently for him to do the same. When he closed his door I jumped.

"Okay, y/n, that is not normal, what happened?"

I shook my head.

"Can we please just go home."

I asked, looking over to him seriously. He frowned before doing as told, and pulling out of the spot.

"I'll kick his ass if you need me to kick his ass."

He said, making me laugh a little. He looked over at me and smiled.

"There's the y/n I know."

I sent him a knowing look.

"He wanted it to be a date."

I said matter-of-factly. He drew his brows as he cruised down the street.

"A date?"

He said in disbelief, laughing a little.

"That can't be right."

I nodded.

"I was a little surprised too. When I told him I didn't see him like that he kinda flipped. I've never seen him so mad before."

I could see the look on his face burned into my memory and I hated it.

"He got mad at you?"

I tried to think on it.

"I'm not sure if it was necessarily geared towards me but he was mad that's for sure. It scared me."

Chris looked at me confused.

"So I do need to kick his ass."

The sentiment made me laugh again. His scrawny self would not be able to take Jack in a fair fight. We both knew that.

"I just wanna forget about this. It was weird and I wanna spend time with someone half way normal. Please."

I pleaded as he came to a stop outside my house.

"You think I'm normal?"

He mocked pride, making me laugh again.

"At least you don't terrify me."

He frowned a bit.

"Hey, I'm sorry about that. That's not fair to you. He shouldn't have done that."

I nodded slowly.

"Right."

I looked to him long enough to see him looking around.

"Where's your dad?"

He said, noticing the missing car. I shrugged.

"He's on a business trip till tomorrow afternoon. He should be home just in time to see us walk."

He hummed in response. I just stared at him for a second before an idea popped into my head. i sent him a look.

"...What?"

He asked a little skeptical. Within a second I had my seat belt unbuckled and was pushing forward to kiss him. He was a little surprised at first but kissed back anyway. When I pulled away I covered my mouth.

"I'm sorry!"

I said, noticing his dazed appearance.

"Hey, I'm not complaining."

He offered a goofy grin, making me giggle. I looked to the house and then back at him.

"Come on, we've got the house to ourselves."

I said raising my brows quickly and got out of his car. I paced to the door and unlocked it, hearing his keys jingle as they hit against his leg, dangling from his belt loop. After a second he was behind and I was pushing the door open. I turned back around and immediately brought him down to kiss me. He was a little slow to react but brought his hands to my hips anyway. I backed slowly into the living room, holding his head as we made out. He tasted like cinnamon this time, it was the gum he usually kept on him, it was nice.

When my ankles hit the couch I dropped, looking up at him with hopeful eyes. I sat back as he moved to straddle me, bringing his hand down to caress my cheek. He looked over my face before connecting our lips again. He pulled away slowly and began kissing down my jaw. When he reached my ear lobe he bit it lightly.

"Want another hickie?"

He said softly, making me close my eyes and nod.

He said lowly. I looked to the ceiling for a second.

He sat back and looked at me.

He said half impressed. I looked at him with a dark gaze.

"Good. I want today to completely turn around."

He connected our lips for a second before climbing off of me and pulling me to the side so my legs were on the couch and my back was to the arm rest. He pushed my knees apart before laying directly in-between them and kissing me again. I hooked my arms around his neck and moaned into him as he pushed his hips into mine. He kept the movement going and I could feel him getting harder against me. The thought alone drove me crazy as he moved back to kissing along my neck, this time tracing his hand along my body too. I did the same, lightly running my hand down his back. When I was down far enough I grabbed his shirt and started pulling it up. He took that as an invitation, sitting up and tossing it off. My eyes traveled down his body before being met with his jeans being very low on his hips. I bit my lip at the sight of the bulge growing in his pants.

He asked and I nodded, laughing a little bit.

“Hey, Juggernaut.”

You adjusted your coat before pulling your tent open. “Yo,” you greeted quietly to the soldier waiting in front of your tent. “General Washington calls for you,” he informed you. You nodded and ducked out of your tent, not wanting to wait another second to know what your superior wanted to talk about. You walked at a brisk pace, never stopping until you were now in front of the tent that was noticeably larger than the rest.

You swallowed thickly, millions of possibilities running in your head to as why you were called. A big part of you hoped that it was with regards to your plans, though there was a smaller bit of you that feared that it might be of something else. Not wanting to keep yourself on edge any further, you pushed the tent open and let yourself in.

"Your excellency, sir. You asked to see me?"

You readily saluted at the presence of not only George Washington but the aide-de-camps and officers that were with him as well. They circled a table, where a map and a few mock pieces were laid out for them to view and move around. While John and Lafayette's eyes twinkled with recognition, the others simply stared at your arrival. "Private F/N L/N?" George assumed. He motioned you to be at ease, which you silently obeyed.

"Yes, sir," you confirmed with a steady voice.

George quickly dismissed the rest of the people out of the tent, the only ones remaining were you, him, and Alexander who was busy writing something at his desk at the corner. “I’ve been reading your letters,” George began, moving to get something from his main desk. You immediately tensed as he pulled out a small stack of envelopes underneath. You kept your lips sealed, waiting for the General’s input on your requests.

“You’ve been asking to have the same thing approved for years now,” he began, “and recently, you’re asking for a rather unique position in your unit, correct?”

“Yes, sir.”

From the corner of your eyes you could see Alexander perk up slightly at the conversation. He subtly glanced up from his work, his eyes falling on George as the general picked up an open letter that had been lying on his desk. “Let’s talk about the first one,” George announced. “I’ve noticed there was a slight change with your offer.” You licked the bottom of your lips out of nervousness, fiddling with your hands behind you.

“Unfortunately, even I can’t agree to it.”

“If I may sir, why not?”

George looked up from the letter to you. “Women cannot be paid to study, son,” he explained plainly. You tilted your head the slightest, confusion from his statement evident. “Sir, I do not seek for women to be paid to be taught basic medicinal procedures,” you murmured, and that was enough for George to mirror your expression.

“That doesn’t seem to be the message I’m getting from your letter, L/N.”

You opened your mouth to counter, but when a vague memory hit you like a punch in the gut, you couldn’t help but to smack your forehead in realization. “Shit, I am so sorry,” you apologized, the annoyance woven in your voice directed to yourself more than anything. George furrowed his brows at your sudden drop of formality, noticing how you were cursing under your breath as you returned to position.

“I must’ve sent you my draft letter instead of the actual one. The pay that I mentioned in the letter refers to the pay of the nurses, not the education that I wish to be provided to them.”

Your face turned to more of an embarrassed one. “I... might’ve written this late at night so my thoughts merged while I was writing,” you confessed, looking down at the ground. “I apologize for causing a misunderstanding. Writing... has never really been my best suit.” You could feel the back of your neck heat up with embarrassment, and the blood was slowly creeping its way to your cheeks the more you dwelled on your mistake. George huffed, and you could’ve sworn there was laughter that came along with it.

“We have our own weaknesses, son,” he said. “Rewrite your statement, then I’ll have it sent to the Congress for approval. Hamilton.”

“Yes, sir?”

The called man straightened from his seat almost instantaneously. “If you’re not too busy, you can help Private L/N draft his proposal to the Congress tonight?” he requested. You looked at Alexander almost the same time he looked at you. “I take it you approve of his plans, sir?” he asked George, though it came off more of a statement than a question.

“Yes. If our nurses are given the same pay as our male doctors, or at the very least raise it, then there wouldn’t be any need for our officers to resort to... violent methods of recruiting them.”

Your jaw visibly clenched at the last few words, and George wasn’t dense to not notice it. “If we treat our camp followers properly, as we should’ve been since square one, then they wouldn’t be working out of spite or fear,” you pointed out through gritted teeth, “and by teaching them the required medical procedures to treating our wounded, then there would be more hands on our medical team without really hiring more hands.” Alexander nearly beamed at your words and hurriedly wrote something down on a spare piece of paper.

“That’s an excellent point F/N, I’ll make sure to include that in your proposal,” he announced eagerly.

You stared at Alexander with surprise while George chuckled in amusement. “Now, since we’ve cleared all misunderstandings for your first request, I take it we’re good to move on to the next one?” his voice wasn’t as light as when he brought up your first request. “Ready as I’ll ever be, sir,” you replied. George nodded, pulling a different letter.

“Private L/N, I’m sure you already know the contents of your own letters, so I will say right now that I just can’t approve you to a... what is this term you used?”

“Field medic, sir.”

“Right.”

“Field medic?”

Alexander wasn’t really supposed to be a part of the next conversation, but he couldn’t help but inquire about the strange new term he just heard. “Basically a doctor soldier tasked specifically to treat wounded men while on field and pull them out of there,” George explained, and you nodded. Alexander’s face contorted, and you sighed internally as it was the response you already expected to get from someone hearing your concept for the first time.

“I... I don’t get it,” Alexander murmured. “We can bring our men to the backlines just fine during combat, I don’t see the point of having a person to specialize in that.”

You were just about ready to explain, but then George put up his hand to stop you. “I can hand you Private L/N’s letters of proposal for later, son,” George reasoned. Alexander’s face fell, and the man buried his face back to his work. “With all due respect sir, I feel like I am fully capable of putting this concept into action. My endurance is beyond average to run around the field and carry our wounded, all I need left is some proper first-aid training.”

“And we need your endurance in the frontlines!” George retorted. “Juggernaut, you’re our best foot soldier, I cannot afford to send you to the medics.”

You nearly physically recoiled at the use of your nickname. You wore the title “Juggernaut” with pride ever since, and George knew. Your tendency to almost never use your gunpowder and instead resort to close combat was what earned you the nickname, and your commanders made sure to utilize you best for that. Simply put, your fearlessness to be up close with the redcoats was something praised by your fellow soldiers and feared by the enemy.

“Sir,” your voice dropped low. “Many men die bleeding out in the field when they could’ve lived if only someone had been there to pull them out, but the second they’re crippled they are not our standing soldiers’ priority. Moreover, many more die in the tents simply for having infected wounds that could’ve been survivable had someone treated it long before. These men have hopes of coming home to see the end of this war and what follows as much as any of us, even while they lay in their own pool of blood as the rest of the fight ensues around them. Sir, they have lives they want to go back to, too, just like us.”

When you were done talking, the air within the tent was heavy. Was it out of realization or just the sheer weight of your words, no one was quite sure, but the tension was so thick no blade could cut through it. “I can see you are as adamant in saving lives as you are taking them,” George mused, finally breaking the suffocating silence that wrapped around the three of you. He glanced down at your letter, hesitancy clear as day. Between the two of you, it was the sixth one you sent for your proposed role. For every letter of declination he gave you, you rebutted with a new letter no more than two to three days later countering his reasonings. For someone who isn’t the best at writing, you do write a lot, he thought.

“Let my hands be stained saving the blood of my allies than spilling the blood of my enemies,” you responded, quoting your own letter.

George huffed, setting down the letter. “I will... think this through for the meantime,” he announced. You resisted your mouth that nearly quirked upwards at his words; consideration was a good enough sign for you. “Thank you sir,” you breathed. George eyed you carefully, thinking if there was anything else needed to be said to you. “I suppose that will be all for now,” he decided tentatively. He dismissed you, and just after you thanked him for his time and turned around was then he remembered.

“Hold on, Private. I feel like there’s one more thing needed to be discussed.”

You looked over your shoulder, almost fearfully, as you moved away from the tent’s exit. George leaned back, crossing his arms as he looked at you with a nearly blank stare. “I feel like we should address the secret circulating around you,” he pointed out. Your jaw dropped to the floor, a chill striking you from the feet up. A hand flew over your arm as goosebumps riddled your limbs, and you feared the worst.

“What secret, sir?” you asked, your voice nearly returning to normal with panic.

“Juggernaut, I don’t think we need to beat around the bush over this. Other soldiers have seen it, too, and you need to come clean with it.”

Other soldiers? The thought was everything but comforting. You always thought you had been discreet with your identity, but apparently you weren’t based on the General’s accusations. However, you kept your mind straight enough to keep droning on. Maybe it was just a mistake, maybe it was just a false rumor that was meant to drag you in the dirt. Yeah, maybe that’s it. You desperately wished that was it.

“It must be a mistake, sir. Whatever this secret may be must be just a measly rumor to throw me off,” you tried to reason out.

“Would it be considered a rumor if we have a witness?”

Your stomach dropped. So there are people who saw? That was definitely not right. You were always sure to have your corset on, only taking it off inside the tent, and whenever you bathe you made sure you were either alone or the last one out and never surfacing from the water. George glanced over to Alexander expectantly, and for the first time the secretary seemed to not want to partake in the conversation.

“Hamilton here has your verbatim.”

You could feel your palms turn sweatier as the seconds passed. You steadied your breathing, trying to calm yourself and stay reasonable. Alexander stared at George incredulously, as if he was the one who’d been ratted out by their superior. He looked over to you, and despite your seemingly calm stature there was nervousness in your eyes that spoke otherwise. Not wanting to lie, Alexander nodded almost apologetically to confirm. You felt your shoulders sag. Had you been too lax when you discussed about pretending with other disguised women? Or had you been too loud when you were rambling to yourself in your own tent? You feared what was next to follow, but if there was someone who bore evidence of your secret, then it was better for you to speak the truth.

“I apologize for deceiving you, sir,” you conceded, dropping your head. “I am more than willing to accept the punishment for my actions.”

“Funny, I figured you’d know enough the consequences of having more liquor than the daily rations you’re given.”

“Wh... what...?”

You tried to wrap your head around the new information. Liquor... daily rations... was that what General George Washington accusing you of this whole time? “Or is the excess whiskey your secret to your fearlessness after all?” George mused teasingly, and you shot up straight when it finally registered to you. “No sir, that would be my low sense of self-preservation,” you answered hurriedly, jokingly. Thankfully for you, George chuckled at your banter.

“Well, don’t think of dying too early, young man,” George advised lightheartedly.

“Wouldn’t dream of it, sir.”

The tight feeling that was mentally suffocating you the whole time released your entire being. “Though, if it’s any assurance, my stash of vodka hasn’t really been consumed,” you informed. “If anything, I think the only time I made use of it was when I disinfected someone’s wound.” George sat up straight, a curious look flashing in his eyes.

“Is that so?”

“Yes, sir.”

“Who’d you heal?”

You paused, wondering if you should really say. “It was Lieutenant Colonel John Laurens.” You glanced up, noticing the inquisitive look both George and Alexander held. “If it’s any compensation for my troubles, I can offer some of my personal beverage. Surely, you’d like a shot,” you then offered, swiftly dodging the questions that might’ve followed your prior statement.

“And how will I know this is not a ploy to try on my good side, son?”

“Was I on your bad side this whole time, sir?”

“With the direction your letters were going, you might be at the tipping point of being so with the Congress.”

You laughed uneasily. “Rest assured sir, my offer is all in good faith.” George uncovered the mug that rested on the edge of his table, and you took that as the sign to approach. You pulled out your flask, which had been refilled from the much larger bottle that you were hiding in your tent (you wondered if someone that visited your tent before saw the bottle which led to the accusations), and poured a hefty amount into the mug, much to George’s pleasure. You waved to Alexander with the flask. “Do you want some too, Hamilton?” you asked him. Alexander stared at your flask, then to George, and then to his papers.

“Come on, son. It’s not everyday we have a little extra liquor,” George insisted, a welcoming smile on his face.

Alexander didn’t hesitate to come over to the table the second he got George’s approval. He brought his own cup, and you readily poured him almost the same amount as George. “Thanks, I needed this,” he sighed gratefully, the strong scent already wafting through his nose. The three of you shared a toast, and you took a nice, long swig from your flask. A satisfied growl emitted from each of you, the burning sensation running down your throat.

“Well sir, I should head out now,” you said quietly.

George nodded, and finally dismissed you. “Call the others back on your way out,” he ordered, and you gave a verbal confirmation before pushing one of the tent flaps open. You peered outside and saw that Lafayette and John were talking nearby. You headed to them, waving a hand to catch their attention.

“F/N! The General didn’t chew you out too much, I hope?” John teased.

You rolled your eyes. “Well, I got out alive,” you joked. “The General requests you guys and the other officials to return, by the way.” John chuckled, patting your shoulder as he passed by. Lafayette ruffled your hair before he and John headed out to look for the other officials that dispersed in the camp. You sighed and walked back to your tent, the clashing sensation of relief and anxiousness washing over you.

Your secret was safe... for now.

•Hybrid! Taehyung x Reader

A/N: So I think I might post once every month as of right now :( I’ve been getting busier than I expected these two past months and I’m sorry for the late update :(( I tried to write when I had the chance my plans was to have this posted two weeks ago and then post another part this week but it didn’t turn out that way I’m so sorry everyone. However I’ll try to work on the next parts when I have time once again I’m so sorry everyone! Also I’m not sure why but Tumblr won’t let me post this chapter in full so I guess this is the first part of chapter two of that makes sense? Dont worry I have the second part of chapter two (that’s quite a long title) done I just needed to cut the chapter in half in order for it to post hhhh I might post the second part of pt 2 tomorrow I’m really tired right now since it’s late where I am thank you for having patience!

It had been exactly four days since the tiger hybrid had arrived. He had been put in the exotic hybrid section. After all the domestic hybrids would probably be terrified of a tiger hybrid joining them suddenly.

Despite trying your best to convince your boss to let you into that area for once in your 3 years of working there, he denied you.

No matter how relaxed your boss was or no matter what reason like “pls I’m getting my medical degree specializing in hybrids very soon and I’ve been working here for 3 years I’m begging you”, you were still met with a cold hard no. You couldn’t exactly blame your boss especially since it was absolutely mandatory that no one without authorized access is permitted into the exotic section for the well being of both the hybrids and employee.

When it came to dealing with the hybrids, your boss took the utmost of caution and did thorough background checks on every single employee who’s job is to handle the hybrids. You had always admired that fact but right now it didn’t help you at all.

You couldn’t help the curiosity that bubbled within you whenever the door to the exotics section would open.

There were also rumors, lots of them.

Lately, they’ve mostly been centered around the tiger hybrid.

Most times you wouldn’t care for the gossip but you kept an ear out for anything on the tiger hybrid.

So far it wasn’t looking too good.

You’ve heard that tiger stayed in his corner at all times. Which really wasn’t good considering that the employees had to try harder to feed him. They tried to ask what the tiger would like but the tiger would stay silent. They just figured they should leave food at his room .

But apparently every time they left food of him, only a little was eaten.

The staff was starting to get stressed out. Hell even you were anxious for the tiger’s well-being.

Abruptly one of the employees,named Alana comes to your desk nearly on the verge of tears.

“I can’t work in there anymore.”

She slams down her card to the exotics room.

To say you were shocked would be an understatement. Alana had been one of the workers there that had been there for so long. She was incredibly patient and determined to make every hybrid feel better. Sure she was a perfectionist but she was one of the best at the shelter so it’s helpful atleast. Usually a hybrid would only take two days to open up to her.

After a minute you were the first one to speak.

“Wait what? Why?”

Her glassy eyes looked down to the floor for a second. Alana sucked in a breath.

Her voice came out shaky, “I just c-can’t do it anymore. That new hybrid is tearing me apart. I stay for hours every single damn day talking to him trying to get him to open up. But he says absolutely nothing.”

She bursted into tears.

“I can’t take it anymore, Y/N. I feel my pride breaking little by little just by being in there. I don’t wanna work with the exotics anymore.”

You felt extremely bad for the poor girl. She wasn’t used to an extreme hybrid case.

You stood and walked over to the other side of your desk to give her a hug. You stroked her hair and give her words of comfort like “it’ll be ok” or “you tried your best so it’s okay.”

It stayed this way until Alana finally calmed down.

She gave a watery smile and told you she was gonna come back in a few days.

And so she left.

And you didn’t know what to do again.

You stared at the exotics access card on your desk for a few moments until you got an idea.

You knew as a responsible secretary you should have deactivated the card until Alana came back. But..curiosity was itching within you.

You wanted to see for yourself how the toger hybrid was doing.

So you slipped the card into your pocket as you decided that you were gonna go into the exotics room for a little bit tonight.

☾ ☾ ☾

You felt the guilt rising already. You know you shouldn’t be in there.

It was just you at the shelter now. You had stayed later than everyone else even the boss.

Your boss was surprised that you stayed overtime. You passed it off by saying that you needed to finish up something. Your boss just nodded his head and cheekily said that you wouldn’t be paid for it.

You don’t mind though. You feel as if you were to have been paid then you would feel way more guilt than you do now.

You walk up to the door of the exotics room. With shaky fingers you scan the card into the slot.

It did a little ‘beep’ and opened.

You took a deep breath and went inside.

You thank your lucky stars that all lights were turned off meaning that almost all of the hybrids had been sleepy or fully asleep.

You took off your shoes to lessen the noise of your footsteps so you wouldn’t awake any hybrids by accident.

After walking around for a few minutes you realized that you had no clue as to where the tiger hybrid’s room was.

You feel like you’re getting nowhere as you sense that you passed a door a couple of times already.

Curse the identical doors

You huffed and continue on trying to find the tiger hybrid’s room.

What you didn’t expect was for the hybrid to find you first.

He stood right in front of his door. He was watching you curiously. His tail swayed from the left to the right.

He sniffed the air around him.

He looks different from last time. Well first of all there is no blood on him now.

And second, he looks anxious.

You awkwardly wave at him. You let out a nervous “hi”.

He looked down to his feet.

He meekly said “h-hi.”

He is so cute, you thought to yourself. You would have given him a hug but he looked like he was ready to bolt right into his room at any moment.

As you were lost in your thought, the tiger spoke again “I uh-..what’s your n-name?”

You were surprised you had to admit. You didn’t expect to speak again you were only expecting a ‘hi’ based from the rumors that you had heard.

Ah well you suppose you shouldn’t trust rumors.

“My name is Y/N. What’s your name?” You smiled at him.

He froze in his place and he sputtered. “M-my name is Kim Taehyung.”

Kim Taehyung huh?

Now you finally have name to match with the face.

“That’s a nice name you have there, Taehyung.”

His face lit up as a boxy smile made its way across his face. “Thank you!”

You felt as if you were blessed with the beauty of his smile. He looked so cute and squishy you didn’t know whether or not you deserved to see his smile.

You wish you could reach out to poke his cheek but you don’t because you don’t want Taehyung to think you’re weird five minutes into introducing one another.

You beamed right back at him. “No problem.”

“So..how do you like it here at the shelter?”

The tiger’s smile slowly dropped. As he fiddled with his hand he replied “Well it’s good I guess and everyone here is so nice to me. But I...” He seemed a little hesitant to go on and for a second you thought he was gonna leave at that.

But he doesn’t.

“I-i guess I’m not used to being in shelter.”

Your eyebrows furrow together as you form a question “What do you mean by that? Surely you’ve been to a shelter at least once.”

Taehyung looked a bit embarrassed as he looked down and blushed.

In a quiet voice he says, “nuh-uh”

You opened your mouth only to lose it again. You were confused.

“Have you been homeless all of your life then?? How didn’t you get caught?”

You really tried to stop the questions from coming out of your mouth, you really did. But you were just too curious for your own good so the questions start hurling out at the poor guy.

He seemed to get a little nervous by the questions as he fumbled with his clothes.

You quickly realizing your mistake added “I’m sorry you don’t have to answer.”

His shoulders seemed to relax.

“Uh thank you I don’t wanna talk about it”

You flash him a smile. “Nah I understand. It was my fault for making you uncomfortable. Don’t worry about it.”

“You’re very nice and p-pretty” Taehyung whispers to mainly to himself. But you caught onto it.

“Heh well I would hope so.”

He seemed a bit spooked as you replied to him. His cheeks flushed pink. “Sorry!”

You decided right there that you wanted to wrap him in a blanket and give him hugs and kisses because he was too cute you couldn’t handle it.

You lost yourself in thought until you heard a door open from the outside.

You and Taehyung both looked at each other in panick.

Taehyung acted fast and grabbed your wrist pulling you into his little room.

You have never been in the hybrids’ rooms before so you took the chance to look around. The room was small and it didn’t really have much color. It was white everywhere, from the walls to the floor. The only pieces of furniture there was the bed, the small closet and the rug.

Taehyung pulled you both once again to hide behind the closet. You were side by side and there was no space between you two. You felt your heart start to speed up the slightest bit as you waited with bated breathe.

i saw a thread of information abt the suspected nine members before they were officially announced and was like ‘yes i must stan them and love them with all of my heart.’ so uh,,,,, back in august or september??

2: What is your favorite episode of Stray Kids? uhm, i’m gonna expose myself rn and let y’all know that i’ve never actually seen a full episode of the show; as soon as i heard it was gonna be a survival show, i knew that i couldn’t watch it bc my heart was too weak and i was emotionally incapable of becoming too invested while watching it; but from clips, i quite like the episode with the 3:3:3 mission, and also the last episode when all nine were reunited and told they were going to debut together

my initial one was chan, and they i got rlly confused, and then slowly came to realize that it was jeongin (anything else after that is a fucking mess)

literally kill me all of them bias wreck me so hard bUT hyunjin, jisung, seungmin, and chan have been wrecking me so hard in particular lately

Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury 25/50. $100 deductible on comprehensive for bike(again i ran multiple quotes, and changing the deductible amount on comprehensive only saves a few bucks). $500 deductible for collision(this deductible amount changes your rate incredibly). No other coverage. Got quoted $285...seems kinda cheap to me considering im so young? Not complaining that i save money....just wondering if this sounds normal? The reason I wonder is because the prices of medical care are so ridiculously high, but it seems like doctors can simply charge any price they want, no matter how ridiculous, because the insurance company will simply pay it. Unlike if someone was actually paying out of pocket and would actually say your out of your mind for charging that much, you won't get my business . I mean, seriously, even if doctors charged $70 per hour, thats still a high wage for them, and it wouldn't be too unreasonable for an hour of medical work, yet I hear of doctors performing various simple procedures that take like 5-15 minutes and charging hundreds or possibly thousands of dollars. Same thing with medical equipment. It seems any device classified as a piece of medical equipment sells for 10 times what it should reasonably cost to make it. I have recently received an out-of-state speeding ticket in CT, and the state's policy is that if you just pay the ticket (pleading no contest) there will not be any points added to your license. The policy for my home state, New York, is that the state does not record out of state moving violations such as this one.
