Makoto finally addresses the girl - she looks young, too young to be hanging out in a shady area like this, that's for sure. The only reason he was here was because he knew that nobody was going to talk if they saw him doing something suspicious, so it was a good place to meet with people when trying to gather essential materials to his plans that he couldn't get elsewhere, like chloroform - or, in some cases, find new allies. Troubled, down-on-their-luck people were often the easiest to manipulate, after all. He wasn't sure to think of this girl yet, though... Despite her young age, there was something about her that seemed a little... off, to say the least.

of all the things maisie had expected when she came back to her hometown, waking up in her old bed was not one of them. she blinked helplessly against the bright morning light, disoriented for several moments until she remembered — she and gideon drank, and then went to the bar and drank some more. no wonder her head was aching. and — why were other parts of her aching, too? she lifted her arms to see bruises covering them. did she get in a fight? she seemed to recall some sort of conflict with her former friends, but most of it was a blur. climbing out of bed, she made her way out of the bedroom and into the kitchen, where she began rummaging around for coffee. a creaking of floorboards startled her and she whirled around, suddenly hyper-aware of her scantily-clad form. “good morning,” she managed, pulling her robe tighter around herself and attempting a dignified air despite the circumstances. “um, by any chance, did i — beat anyone up last night?”

It wasn't the first time that Fish had to travel the universes to indulge Dimitri's newest whim. In fact, she was sure that his requests were becoming increasingly ridiculous. After asking her to bring him the Apples of the Hesperides because he was craving apple pie, he had now told her to fetch him the Holy Grail, no less. All because he couldn't be bothered to wash his goddamn mugs. You'd think that after 20.000 years of being alive, the man would do his chores.

She was hoping for an easy trip. Get in, get the Grail, get out. Simple enough, right? Especially with a magical door that led to virtually anywhere. The only problem was that she didn't really know where the Holy Grail was kept, in this big castle. And the more she roamed the place, the more likely she risked getting caught. She was pretty sure that if a guard saw a woman with a sword and a pair of jeans, they'd think she was a witch or something.

She climbed an endless flight of stairs for the umpteenth time that night, finally finding herself in a dark, secluded room atop a dungeon. And finally, here it was. Dimitri's newest mug.

"Bingo," she said to herself, too enthralled in her victory to hear the footsteps behind her.

Headcanon i've had for a while now about how minecraft hack clients could work, similar to the headcanons about how in game chat would work.

Just sort of an explanation with some examples, obviously some hacks are pretty hard to translate into a physical thing, but i tried my best. :)

"Hack Clients" are illegal modifications of a player's attire (i.e. player skin) in order to give them an unfair advantage. The visibility of a "Hack Client" modification depends on the server a player is on. On servers such as 2b2t, these modifications are obviously visible while on stricter servers, such as Hypixel, hackers will try to be more subtle, often hiding modifications underneath clothing.

Eyewear: Modified for use of visual hacks (i.e. x-ray. fullbright, esp, etc.), the easiest to hide from moderators.

Footwear: Modified for use of hacks such as Anti-Knockback, High-jump, and other similar hacks.

Mechanical Braces: Used to allow players to move with otherwise impossible reaction times, most often used for PVP. Completely illegal on most servers, players will attempt to hide them underneath clothing but often fail.

Leg brace: Used for b-hopping.

Arm brace: Used for kill-aura and aimbot.

He'd met Samira not too long ago after she'd moved to Wilmington recently, at Tric and since they'd met up to grab a few drinks here and there when one of them needed it. His full name is Callie Isabel Halden. For now

He mentioned in an offhand comment to his aunt at 16 that he wanted a job, so she decided to have him start running errands for her. Eventually said aunt told some friends who had their own stores about him, so he started running errands for them as well. Word spreads and now at 22 he does this for half the people in town. Unofficial postal service, glorified errand boy

Fucking HATES it, but it's good cardio and a lot of the people in town rely on him to deliver stuff. He originally tried to keep it pretty cheap because it was just a summer job, but he stayed and it stuck and now he's paid a miserable $3.50 for every package/thing delivered

He's ended up becoming a pretty good long distance sprinter so he can earn as much as possible

Bc he needs to be as fast as possible for his job, he's become pretty impatient. DESPITE the need to make things fast, he goes out of his way to take routes that he knows will have the most cats on them, even if they take longer

Likes collecting phone charms to add to his head. He switches them out like every other day, and he likes it the most when they jingle as obnoxiously as possible (he doesn't register that it's obnoxious, he thinks that it sounds nice. Everyone else HATES it)

Relations: I think he would be friends with Oliver but like. Who wouldn't? Anyways. He feels a kind of kinship with Randy (crappy jobs, being underpaid and overworked, just general suckyness), (OBVIOUSLY Randy has it so much worse, but yk), but he also kind of can't stand him. Callie constantly tries to convince him that it's all in his head and he needs to be more positive, but he's a dick about it. Like he's trying to be nice but it comes off as forceful and nasty

He's related to Little Billy. (2nd cousins, he has to see him at family events and around town. He pretends not to know him bc Billy is actually the worst) He would bond with Phonegingi over Little Billy hatred and find that he actually likes him if he could get past the whole nipple thing ("Eugh, who the FUCK has that many nipples?")

If he were actually in the game, you'd just see him running around in the background every once in a while

Verity had just taken a seat on the couch in Eddie's apartment, grabbing the remote to turn on the TV after she had placed down the plate of food she'd just prepared for herself. Since moving in to live with her colleague, who just so happened to be the greatest chef she knew, the cooking lessons he'd been given her before she moved away had increased. It was kind of a given seeing they both had to eat and if their shifts aligned, it just made sense to make something together. It had been a lot of fun, at times maybe even too fun. Not that she was going to read into things by the maybe light flirting that had occurred every now and again, at least on her end. When she heard the door to his room open, she grinned as she stood up and picked her plate up from the table, "Look what I did!" She chimed proudly, "I know it is just a simple pasta salad--" She began to elaborate, "But, the pasta itself is perfectly cooked and I did it all by myself with a whole lot of butter." @eddiexcastro
