witch arranged marriage
Thank you for the ask!
Witch Arranged Marriage: Basically, Steve's parents made a deal with the Munson clan of witches, arranging Steve to marry the clan's heir, Eddie. Eddie grew-up knowing Steve would be his husband in the future. Steve, not so much.
CW: Hinted Mpreg if you squint. It's going to be in the main work, though.
When Steve came down the stairs and into the living room, he was surprised to see that the guest was the man that he’d met at the party and another gruffer looking man who was a bit older. The two were dressed very differently from each other, (the man Steve knew was dressed in all black with silver jewelry adorning his person while the others was dressed down in flannel and jeans) but they both gave off an air of power that couldn’t be denied. They glanced up as Steve entered, with the man in black grinning widely at him from where he stood.
“There you are, sweetheart,” the man said, striding over to take Steve into his arms.
Steve stiffened, not used to the sudden affection. “Mom, Dad, what’s going on?”
“You didn’t tell him yet?” the older man huffed gruffly.
“Tell me what?” Steve asked. “What are they talking about?”
Exchanging looks, his mom and dad tensed, as if they had been hoping that they wouldn’t be noticed. The two of them glared at each other, seeming to have a silent argument about who would address the situation. His dad stepped forward eventually, having lost whatever fight they’d been having previously.
Clearing his throat, his dad said, “We didn’t tell him because we thought that since Steve wasn’t born a girl then you’d be after our granddaughter and thus didn’t feel the need to inform Steve of the agreement as not to pressure him.”
“Why the fuck would I want your granddaughter!?” the man in black yelled.
“Eddie, calm down,” the older man warned. “Just because they’re idiots doesn’t mean you have to shout.”
“I don’t understand,” Steve said, looking from the older man to Eddie. “Why did I need to be born a girl? And why did you think I’d give complete strangers my daughter!?”
“I’m not a stranger, princess,” Eddie said, tugging Steve closer to him. “I’m your future husband. You really should’ve been more prepared, though it explains why you didn’t recognize me at the party.”
“But Steve’s a boy!” his mom shouted. “You said you needed someone to carry on the Munson line! Steve, he- He clearly doesn’t have the right equipment, so you can’t blame us for assuming that you wouldn’t want him!”
“You let us worry about that,” the older man said. “You should know better than anyone else the miracles our line’s magic can work. It got you where you are today, after all.”
At that, Steve’s parents paled, and Steve was starting to get the picture. He didn’t know about the magic part, but from what he could tell, his parents had made a deal with these people to further their riches, using Steve, and his future children, as a bargaining chip to get what they wanted. It should’ve made Steve feel good that his parents were fighting to keep him, but realistically, he knew in his heart that they weren’t fighting for him, instead wanting to keep the heir they had raised.

WIP Wednesday (on Thursday)
I was tagged by @swaps55 and I saw the notification on my phone when I woke up yesterday, said I'd do it when I got on my PC, and then promptly forgot about, so I am a day late haha Gonna tag a couple folks even though I'm late: @imbiowaresbitch @nickelkeep @rotschopf-thedrow @waidwn @bleuzombie
Anyway, have some Ashley on Eden Prime from the Beginning of Argonauts.
“What the hell is happening?” Bates mutters. His voice is pitched up with hysteria. Ashley takes a deep breath and works the problem. They’re still a good couple of miles from the dig site and further from the main colony. With Geth everywhere between them in both directions. “Can’t afford to lose your shit right now, Bates. Take a breath.” “They’re all dead.” He paces in the small cavern. He’s making too much damn noise. If a Geth patrol passes by, he’ll draw them right to their hiding place. “They’re all fucking dead, Chief.” “I know,” she says, willing the emotion she doesn’t have time to be choked by into a box to be dealt with later. She reaches forward and grabs her only remaining squadmate by the front of his hardsuit. “If you don’t calm the fuck down, we’re gonna be dead, too.” His eyes are wide and wild behind the tinted glass of his faceplate. He’s also looking at Ashley like she’s supposed to have all the answers. The heaviness of that responsibility, the way it weighs on her chest and makes it hard to breathe, must be what people are talking about when they bring up the burden of command. But Bates’ breathing slows, and she’ll take it because she needs his head on straight at least until they can make it somewhere safe. If that’s even a possibility. First things first, though. They need to make it past the Geth undetected. “You with me, Marine?” she asks, only releasing Bates when he nods. “Good. We need to kill the power on our suits.” He blanches, taking a step back like Ashley stuck him with a hot poker. “Why the hell would I do that? Harder to move, no HUD? How the hell are we gonna know where they are?” “You got a fancy scatter system hidden in there somewhere?” If—when—they make it out of here, she’s going to have some choice words for Bates about questioning orders. At least Donk had trusted her. Ashley swallows past the lump that forms suddenly in her throat. “Only way I know of to go dark without one. We won’t have a read on them, but they won’t have a read on us either.” “Do they even track us like that?” Bates asks, but the little green dot that represents him on her display disappears, so at least he’s doing what he’s told. Ashley shrugs, cutting her own power. “Don’t know, but I’m not wiling to take that chance. Less ways they have to spot us the better.”

Chapter 12 sneak peak
Morningstar Abbey
I’m not going to be posting a full chapter today (I haven’t finished writing it yet) but I thought you would like a peak at a new character we will meet when our boys arrive at Morningstar itself.  It’s my (questionable) pleasure to introduce General Lucius Crowley...
The carriage has driven from Bath and is drawing up outside Crowley’s family home:
They slowed to a trot on the drive, where a laden travelling carriage was waiting, a team of four fine horses stamping their feet and huffing in the cold air.
“Damn it,” Crowley muttered.  “He hasn’t left yet.”  He forced a smile.  “Looks as though you’ll have the chance to meet the old man, after all.”
“Oh!  I shall be glad to,” though Aziraphale had heard enough of the General to have formed a most unfavourable impression of him.
“I wouldn’t be sure of that.”
Crowley drew the phaeton to a stop with a final crunch of gravel, and leapt down, handing the reins to a boy who ran out from the shadow of the building.  Adam scorned the offered hand and jumped down himself, but Aziraphale was glad to take it, both for the assistance and the plausible excuse to feel Crowley’s hand in his, if only for a moment.
“Adam!” a voice cried.  Aziraphale dropped Crowley’s hand and whipped around to look at the doorway, where a tall gentleman stood framed by the gothic archway.  Aziraphale recognised him without hesitation.  There could be no mistaking that face, which Madame Tracy had immediately seen in Crowley when first they met.
Adam walked up the steps towards him. “Good afternoon, Father,” he said, extending a hand to shake, and had his hair ruffled for his efforts.
“Glad to have you home, boy!  And you, Anthony!  Still making a fool of yourself with that random-tandem team, I see. And this must be our guest!”
Crowley visibly braced himself and pinned a smile in place as they approached.  “Father!  I should like to introduce-”
“Mr Fell,” said the General, extending a strong hand towards Aziraphale.  “Or is it Reverend Fell?”  His teeth were remarkably white and straight in his wide, welcoming grin.
“Oh, ah, Mr Fell is quite – ah, I only use Reverend when at my work,” Aziraphale managed.  “You must be the General; I am indebted to you for the invitation, truly it is kind of you-”
“Nonsense, Mr Fell, you are most welcome here at Morningstar.  Adam speaks well of you, and that must be enough to recommend you to me.”  The General released his hand and Aziraphale did his best to marshal his thoughts.
Lucius Crowley was remarkably like his second son, in height and build and sense of style, his back unbent and head held proudly despite being evidently well past his sixtieth year. Crowley’s fine lines were deeper wrinkles on his father, and the rich rust of the younger man’s colouring had faded out to a cinnamon-blond dusting in the distinguished white hair.  The General maintained striking military whiskers, the moustache joining the sideburns, but the whole was neatly groomed, not left to run amok.  Aziraphale was glad to see that Crowley had not inherited the General’s eyes, at least; they were a common hazel, and Aziraphale liked knowing that his Crowley had that feature uniquely.
His Crowley?  Dash it, he had to overcome this!
“I – I am very glad to be here,” he said, dragging himself back to the moment.  “Your home is beautiful, General Crowley; I do not recall when I have seen such striking architecture.”
The General ushered him through into the main hall, a tall, wide affair, dominated by the branched staircase leading to the upper galleries, and the double-height arched windows that bespoke the building’s religious history; General Crowley waved it all away with a dismissive hand.  “Ah, yes, we are fortunate in our stonework that the Abbey was built well, but I have completed a great deal of modernisation here since I took it over, and I think you will be most pleased with the results achieved, a modern gentleman such as yourself.  All this gothic grandeur is very well, but hardly fit for this innovative century!” As he spoke, he drew Aziraphale further into the building, through a door on the right of the main hall, and into-
A completely ordinary drawing room, plastered and wallpapered in a nod to the latest mode of Eastern inspiration favoured by the Regent.  Had the room been part of a modern townhouse, Aziraphale would have thought it well-appointed, but in an abbey it was strangely … wrong.
He turned a bright smile back towards the General, who was quite obviously watching him for a reaction.  “Charming!”

SHHOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTT
Rats rats rats one of these days I’ll actually remember BITE BITE KILL ETCETERA
well no time like the present here’s some from another Incredibles au snippet. Wild backstory :)
Time yawns again, opening the fridge and pouring himself a glass of milk. He takes a sip and the cold beverage shocks him awake a little, but he’s still groggy, even though it’s two in the afternoon.
The phone suddenly rings and he sighs, setting down his cup before heading into his office to answer it. If it’s Warriors or Sky with a harebrained idea to go out and do something fun, he’s hanging up.
“Hello?” he asks as he picks up the receiver, and blinks in surprise at the voice that answers him.
He’s suddenly very awake.
“Time. Can you talk?” Impa’s voice comes through, slightly tinny. “It won’t take long.”
He leans back and looks out at where Twilight and Legend are curled up and napping together in the living room, small pink rabbit nestled on top of a wolf cub. Malon is dozing on the couch close by with Wind in her arms, and he leans back in with a soft smile.
“Yes. What is it?”

Hidden identity 🎭and pregnancy 🫃
Thanks for the prompt! Man, there are so many ways to go with this one. So many hidden identities, so little time. BUT if I have to pick just one then I'm going to go with this:
Stevie (always a girl!Steve) is the daughter of a rich merchant who lives in a quiet shepherding town, where everyone deems her as the most beautiful girl in the kingdom. Word reaches a stately lord, and he writes to Stevie's father about marrying her. Stevie is, of course, against it as she's never met the noble and neither has her father. That doesn't deter her father from making arrangement and offers to send Stevie to his manor so they could wed right away. The noble disagrees, instead wanting to inspect his possible bride as he wants to make certain that the "peasants" aren't tricking him to increase their station. Despite warning that there have been wolf attacks in the area, the noble dismisses them, not feeling the need to worry about any attacks as he will have all his guards with him.
Eventually, it comes time for the noble to arrive. They wait around for several hours, but the noble doesn't show. Stevie is relieved and thinks that she escaped the marriage. Only for there to be a knock on the door at midnight, revealing Eddie and his Uncle Wayne. Eddie explains that they did come across the wolves as they were warned, and that it was foolish of them to think that their guards could protect them. While the wolves were attacking the guards, the two made their escape.
Eddie confirms that Stevie is the most stunning creature that he has ever seen, and the marriage continues forward. The two get to know each other, and Stevie finds herself enchanted by the wild nature of her fiance. She falls in love with Eddie and goes through with the marriage willingly. On their wedding night, however, Stevie finds out the truth that Eddie isn't the noble nor is he even human. He's the wolf who killed the noble and took his place, so he could get Stevie pregnant with his wolf pups since hunters took out a chunk of his pack a few years ago.
Stevie knows she should be angry, but she isn't, loving Eddie too much at this point. She allows him to fuck her in his true form on the night of the full moon, so he can get her pregnant with a litter of new werewolves. She then joins Eddie's pack by feeding her parents to them as an offering to show her devotion to Eddie and how much she's willing to commit.
After that, they disappear into the moonlight and live happily ever after. The end!

Throwback Thursday: It was 5 years ago when we were celebrating award season for The Shape Of Water, and I got to live my dream of being in an old musical dance number (dressed as an Amphibian Man, of course) with the amazing Sally Hawkins.
