got tagged by @lokiina, @elvenbeard and @morganlefaye79. th <3
Instruction: use your "On Repeat" playlist — can be Spotify or any other site you use.
the only playlists I have are on spotify and they are all character specific, so I'll switch after 2 songs to the next character playlist. I could have used my itunes but I do not have any playlist there because normally I intend to listen hardcore to just one artist for a looong time being and that would be boring af.
So, here we go:
from Hizumi's V-Kei favs:
from Vijay's 80s and 90s favs:
from Ryder's rave the night away favs:
Thyjs' classical and 50s-70s classic rock favs:
Jaysen's favs (that I still need to sort):

Y'know I joked about Fuuko getting a harem this timeloop but the more I think about it the more I think it's actually plausible. Tozuka loves to explore different genres in Undead Unluck. And with the popularity of the Harem genre he could easily play around with it. Fuuko and Andy's meeting was a twist on the classic "fateful encounter" in Shoujo manga where the female protagonist accidentally bumps into the male lead. So what if Andy's return is finding out that this time he has love rivals?
With most people he wouldn't have to worry because thanks to Fuuko riding arc she's unable to age so not many people would be able to be with her long term, but the people she's been getting vibes this loop with are able to be with her thanks to their negation abilities. With her completely changing the trajectory of their lives.
Feng - Unfade literally prevents him from aging and keeps him at his physical prime since it manifested earlier this loop. Thanks to Fuuko beating his ass he hasn't killed in decades and has grown embrace his role as a father (in a tsun way) instead of the messed up relationship he had with Shen the last loop.
Gina - Unchange prevents things from changing. In the previous loop she used it to make an unchanging shell of makeup to hide her age, but with the emphasis of growth of abilities this loop she might be able to prevent her cells from aging by making her own body "Unchanging". This loop instead of lamenting her role as a member of Union, she takes incredible pride in it. She's Fuuko's right hand woman, her closest confidant, her silly rabbit.
Billy - Unfair has changed massively this loop and is the most broken thing ever. Thanks to Fuuko he's taken a much more healthier outlook on life and allows him to express his true kind nature without being so self sacrificing. All he has to do is adknowledge one's strength and it lets him copy their ability. He can copy Andy's Undead without the convoluted backstab this loop, can copy Unfade whenever, and has already been shown to have copied Unchange this loop.
Hell they're even built like Otome Game routes
Andy is the fun flirty one that never really means anything at first and changes when he actually gets serious. Has (or had depending on when he comes back) the most screentime and is obviously the main route.
Feng is the tsundere that's reluctant to admit how he truly feel. Who also never leaves the MC alone and makes excuses instead of admitting his real emotions.
Gina is the bestie gal pal. She supports the MC no matter what and is the go to for infro. But she also has feelings deeper than just a friend and is the sole (barely hidden) Yuri route in the game.
Billy is the funny aloof older man (in concept. Fuuko is waaaay older than him this loop). He jokes around and acts like a dummy, but hides a tragic past and huge amounts of trauma behind his easy smile. Comes complete with the dead wife that 80% of rare Ossan options in otomes have.
I'm gonna throw this out there, but I think that when Fuuko gets to Unruin and saves him from his tragedy this loop, he's going to become obsessed with her and worship her like he worshiped God in the previous one. Maybe being like a messed up Yandere secret route.
So yeah good luck Andy. You're gonna need it when you come back to your girl.

I read some people worried that Taylor might get "stuck" in romcoms.
First, I don't think it's like that, I think over time we'll see him in different things but even if it were the case I don't see why it should be bad? we live in times where you are considered a valid actor only if you make blockbusters or deep, dark indie movies, when among the greatest icons of cinema there are names who made a career between the 90s and 2000s thanks to romcoms, which they are among the most famous films we have. So in case he wanted to make more romcoms (and when he was awarded at the Savannah Film Festival he said that he loved making this type of film because it gave people a moment of joy and lightheartedness) I don't see what the problem is 🥲
And I add that we have a lot of actors and actresses who should never do this job due to how incapable they are, why do they only have all these problems with Taylor? 😅 I'll never understand
I get those people honestly, because I'm not a romcom person myself, and I'm very often that pretentious snob who looks down at things that don't sound intellectual enough and who forget they didn't know shit about cinema for most of their life. It's not like I thought romcom actors weren't valid actors just like romcom wasn't valid cinema. But i'm learning to be a better person and to expand my definition of what's (valid) cinema but mostly remind myself that i'm very much nobody to decide for a definition of cinema.
I never cared before, because I've never followed romcom people before and cared about what they were doing with their life and career but obviously this has changed. So I have now to think about it.
First, like you said, he did say he loves making romcoms and romcoms suit him pretty damn good so far so there is really no problem about him keep making them. Shaping his career should be about making him happy and that's about it. If other people aren't happy with the choices he'll make, all they have to do is watching other movies.
Many actors have certain fears to be stuck, not necessarily in romcoms but in something they did before and for that to become the only thing expected of them. It can be a specific genre like a dark indie stuff like you said, or superheros movies, or action, or that big franchise, or always playing the villain, or the cop or whatever. I don't act but i believe for most of them acting is about living dozen of different lives and experiencing things they wouldn't have in their daily life so I assume most of them would prefer diversity in their roles even if they don't always succeed at being casted as what they would want.
All of that being said -- I think this kind of talks are waaaay too early for Taylor. Not to be disrespectful of the work he did before but his career is just starting. He can't be stuck anywhere since he has just arrived. Let's talk about it again in a few years :)

I. favourite colours: Over the years my favorite color had really shifted, it started as orange cause when I was younger I remembered Orange Drink (not juice) was my FAVORITE flavor so I stuck close to Orange for a majority of my life then it just shifted towards green. I don't remember personally when I changed by my parents told me it suspiciously happened during the phase I started Power Rangers. SO I guess Tommy Oliver had an impact on me.
II. favourite flavours: Gimme anything Oatmeal, you know like the cookie? Mmmm I'd pretty much marry you if you baked me oatmeal cookies my whole life. I also really love the taste of barbecue.
III. favourite genres: In movies and tv shows it's horror, which is actually funny because I kid you not growing up til all in my early teen years I was a bitch, not even gonna hold you on that one. It wasn't until I became a writer is when I started watching horror and really braved through it because I really wanted to understand the story, especially if it's lore heavy like ju-on or ringu for example.
IV. favourite music: I mostly gravitate towards rap and hip-hop but really I'd listen to anything if it's a tune, if you hopped into my library of song..aside from the barrage of calypsos and soca music you'd see you would also find A LOT of anime opening, endings and video game exclusive songs. Lord there was a time Crush40 was my life. Then it turned to Lotus Juice.
V. favourite movies: Oh fam we finna be here all day so I'd just give you my top five from the top of my head. Spider-man 2, The mummy returns, Saw, DBZ Bojack unbound (don't @ me, Future Trunks' fit was fire in that one) and Into the spider-verse. These are in no particular order.
VI. favourite series: I'mma tie this to video games. There's Like a dragon, Budokai (tenkaichi), Persona, Megaman battle network, Assassin's creed, Insomniac Spider-man AND Lord believe me I can go on.
VII. last song: Mirage by OneRepublic
VIII. last series: The last series I've seen which was really last night is The Manifest. Still on going, granted I'd like to point out that the only reason I wanted to watch this was because my homie Josh Dallas is in it. I've never liked Snow White's Prince charming UNTIL this man dropped such a great performance in Once Upon a Time.
IX. last movie: The last movie I've seen was one called 'The Impossible'. Whilst I don't think it's a bad movie, I just had different expectations going in.
X. currently reading: Story from the Pizzaplex: Lally's game.
XI. currently watching: The Manifest.
XII. currently working on: Waaaay too many asks from this blog, my trailblazer and my multi.

Hi again.....If you don't mind me asking, can I ask, what are your top 7 favorite media (can be books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series/etc) and your top 7 favorite (fictional) characters from any media? Why do you love them all? Sorry if you've answered this questions before......
Hi! Sorry for taking so long on this. Thought of waaaay too many options here, but think I've mostly narrowed it down now.
If you want me to expand on any/if I've been confusing about any of them, feel free to ask
Fave Media
Nirvana in Fire (cdrama): One terminally ill guy taking the capital by storm as he trolls and schemes his way to the truth of the case that got his family and comrades killed. There are so many moving parts at any one time that you need to have your brain on, but the payoff and the slowburn on some of the plots is beautiful
Stranger/Forest of Secrets (kdrama): Plot that keeps you guessing all the way through with super strong character development in the background. In theory it's a standard kdrama about tackling corruption, but the execution entirely won me over and both of the main characters are so charming to watch. They're coming from such different places but are able to reach across the divide to understand and trust each other
Spy x Family (manganime): It's the genre blending, okay. A family defined by lies and yet still their true selves with each other against the backdrop of a Cold War-esque setup. Most of the time it's fairly light-hearted and comedic, but it does not pull its punches at all when it comes to topics of war and propaganda and how they impact *everyone*.
The Locked Tomb (book): Lowkey surprised myself with putting this one here, but it has so many *layers*. Ridiculous levels of foreshadowing that would take so many rereads to fully untangle. The characters at first glance may not be the most relatable, but once you get further through you realise there's still a lot to unpick about what makes them *tick*
Puella Magi Madoka Magica (anime): Recontexualisation central. I love how first watch gives a different story to second watch and so on. How the themes are still ultimately *hopeful* despite all odds. And the directing/music/designs of witches/labyrinths all come together to tell the best version of the story
Link Click (donghua): This also has some pretty solid recontextualisation (I'm a big fan of that if you can't tell, same with time travel). But my favourite aspects are the individual stories of average people. And the intertwining of that with the time travel aspects to create a story that works both on the client level but also resonates strongly with the main characters. Season two also has some very strong mystery elements and is big on parallels between different characters.
Joy of Life (cdrama): This was lowkey a 'free space' option because I was torn between Arcane (the art/animation alone is so gorgeous even before you get into the intergenerational parallels)/Severance (it's like a workplace psychological horror with shades of religious cultism and some amazing humour)/Skip and Loafer (it's simultaneously so soft and so heartbreaking). So, I went for this instead. And yes, I'm biased because I'm watching JoL s2 rn, but I had missed the comedy so badly. This show is like a cdrama isekai complete with scheming and anime references. Also, Fan Xian's mum fascinates me in a similar way to Rose Quartz. The implications that she was so like him that she also lowkey spawned a harem and modernised ancient China in ridiculous ways? She was *the* og isekai protag. The fact that her death is still an omen over Fan Xian's life about why he needs to be careful who he trusts?
Fave Characters
Murderbot (Murderbot Diaries): I don't think I can explain this any better than I do here
Shen Wei (Guardian cdrama): See above, but also, he's just generally hilarious in how he goes for blatant lies. At one point, I was just watching the series for him and Zhao Yunlan alone ngl
Yan Wei (Couple of Mirrors): She's an assassin with war trauma who has decided she has imprinted on Xu Youyi and will protect her by... committing more crimes? She comes off aloof and she's not big on words, but her actions speak for themselves and they are loud. Also, she uses a helmet as a shower head which gives her many points in my book.
Cheating here but Pearl and/or Steven (Steven Universe/Future) (Also Rose entirely fascinates me from what we do know about her): Pearl in the main series and Steven in Future. So, Pearl in the main series starts as this grief-ridden wreck who's trying to keep it together and barely succeeding, projecting her issues onto Steven and Connie, etc. But over time, she's able to work through a lot of it. Not everything, of course, but by the time of Future she's doing well enough to consider dating again which for her is such a huge step. Meanwhile Steven is the chronic helper type, so over the course of the main series, he's the one who acts as therapist to try to solve everyone else's problems. And by the time Future rolls around, that's lowkey how he defines himself. His whole identity is what purpose he holds to others. So when he ends up in the situation where there's no one left *to* help, he crashes and burns in the most spectacular way
Li Lianhua (Mysterious Lotus Casebook cdrama): One of my favourite lying liars who lie and cough up blood (alongside Shen Wei and Mei Changsu). At the same time, his whole conflict between who he "was" and who he "is" is so juicy and the way he tries to avoid attachment and yet cannot help himself? He's constantly running after and chasing his past in different ways and for the most part he is both hilarious and heartbreaking in the process
Himemiya Anthy (Revolutionary Girl Utena): It's really hard for me to explain what I like best about Anthy, but her writing is impeccable. She's a character who has been stuck in stasis for the longest time with no escape in sight. And within the box she's stuck in, she acts out in the ways she's able, bitterness and pettiness and everything else. She thinks she's past the point of caring, but it turns out that that's not the case. She's also a character that a lot of people in and out of universe try to limit to an archetype, but there's no single box she *can* be contained in. Also! She's a great troll. Very entertaining to watch her pranks
Miles Edgeworth (Ace Attorney): He has such a great character arc across the main trilogy and investigations games. Even though he largely settles down by the later games, it's still so fun seeing his interactions with Wright. He's got this history with him that colours everything. Also, he's got this whole thing where he comes off as though he's glaring at everyone in the world whilst clearly just being socially uncomfortable half the time. He *is* genuinely rude at times (rip Gumshoe especially) but he's such a well-rounded character, from his traumas to his later fond bickering with Wright that the end result is just charming. I think the games themselves trained me to miss him too by drawing out the times between his appearances

You checked the time on your wristwatch as you frowned, wondering why your secretary had not arrived yet. You did arrive five minutes earlier than your usual time, but he would always be there before you with your hot cup of latte already placed strategically on your desk. After browsing some documents on your computer, you decided to call one of your staff.
“Beomgyu,” you said, placing the telephone between your ear and your shoulder while you closed some of the windows on your screen. “Once Park arrives, tell him to go straight to my office.”
The moment you heard a knock on your door, you sighed to yourself and mouthed ‘finally’ before telling the person to come in. Jay huffed and puffed as he let himself into your office, fixing the glasses perched on his nose and the bag strap that was almost sliding off his shoulder.
“Boss, I am so sorry,” he greeted you without letting you greet him first. “I’m late, it’s all my fault. I should have woken up earlier. It won’t happen again I swear.”
“First of all, calm down,” you said as you pushed your chair back. You stood up and started walking towards the center of the room. “I suppose there’s a valid reason for you being late?”
“I have no excuses,” Jay answered, looking down to the floor because he was too afraid to meet your eyes. “I can stay late today. And tomorrow. Or how many days it will take for you to forgive me.”
You merely stared at his face, wondering what about him seemed so different that day. You did not want to assume anything or end up feeling restless because you could not figure out what it was, so you just shrugged as you walked to your minibar.
“You don’t need to stay late, but I’m cutting your lunch break short.” You glanced at him through the mirror by your minibar. He had his lips pressed together.
“I understand,” he said softly, straightening his position and holding on to the strap of his bag.
You wondered why he was still there, so you turned around and clicked your tongue. “Well, go back to your desk then.”
You walked side by side with Yeji, talking to her about the meeting she had just attended. Behind you, Beomgyu and Keeho were tailing you like bodyguards. You fell in line to grab a selection of food when you heard two women in front of you talking. From their attire, you guessed that they worked on a different floor.
Jay quickly bowed at you before taking a couple of steps back and turning around, leaving your office and closing the door in the gentlest way possible.
---
Sometimes when you feel like you were up for more social interactions, you would come up to the rooftop canteen to have lunch with your staff. Most of the time you would have your lunch delivered to your desk, but since Jay was going to be in front of your office all the time, you did not want to be around his presence for some reason.
“No, but did you see him today?” Asked the first girl in a ponytail.
The girl with shorter hair shook her head. “I didn’t. Why?”
“He looked so cute with his hair down! Like all fluffy with the front bangs and… ugh, he’s just so cute. I wished he worked on our floor.”
It took you a second to realize the two employees were talking about your secretary. You smirked in amusement, and then Yeji cleared her throat behind you, eyeing the two female staff. The two of them turned their heads, and the moment they landed their eyes on you and your crimson lips—since you were the only one in the building who wore a color so striking, they became flustered.
“I’m sorry, Miss,” the girl in the ponytail bowed slightly at you. She then stepped back and pulled her friend with her, so you could cut the line.
You shook your head and tilted your chin. “No, it’s okay. Go ahead.”
You kept your distance from them, and Yeji carefully peered over your shoulder, whispering to you. “I can’t believe they had the nerve to fangirl over Park.”
“Is he popular?” You asked, taking a step forward as the line started to move.
Yeji shrugged, but then Beomgyu, behind her, chimed in. “He is, Miss. Most of his fans are employees from the other--”
Keeho elbowed Beomgyu in his ribs before he could finish his sentence. You just chuckled while you picked out your meal for the day. The four of you sat together near a window and talked about various things before you finally noticed that everyone had finished their lunch.
As soon as lunch break was over, your three staff headed back to their desks happily after being treated to a cup of latte by you. You held two cups in your hands as you walked towards Jay’s desk. The moment he saw you, he was already moving to stand up, but you clicked your tongue and shook your head.
“Stay seated,” you said calmly, placing a cup of latte in front of him. He received it without question. “So this hair situation…”
Your hands were floating vaguely, gesturing at his head. Jay cleared his throat and moved in his seat. “Oh, right. Because I woke up late, I didn’t have enough time to style it like usual. I’m sorry if it comes off too messy,” explained Jay, messing up his bangs haphazardly.
Only then you realized that since day one, Jay had always come in with his hair completely pushed back, or in a half-and-half style. It made him look mature and capable, while this effortless, fluffy style just made him look like a boy. A cute one, actually.
“Make sure to wake up early. I don’t want anyone getting distracted by your… hair,” you said, eyeing him from top to bottom.
The gesture clearly made him flustered. He nodded and fixed his glasses, looking down until you disappeared into your office. He kept staring at the floor for moments after you left, though, because he was wondering what you meant about being a distraction.
Did you think he looked good?

You know, I've been thinking recently about the fact that Damian and Flatline and Jon and Jay are very much like their parents. Like, the obvious similarities between Jay and Lois, Clark and Jonathan (Like father, like son), Damian and Bruce (Like father, like son 2x), and Nika and Talia. I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it.Maybe someone has talked about it, but know I'll be the second person to do it :)
P.S I like the parallel between Jay and Lois the best. People who will fight to the last for their cause, ideals and the people they care about. Both are very smart, brave, cunning and strong individuals who will tear down everything in their path. Especially, Jay is a fan of Lois, which makes this even better for me. It's like his character was built on the Lois archetype, but with a few differences. How can I not love them, bro😭
YESSS!!! Anon a lot of people have mentioned these comparisons so we aren't alone in this, but this is the first time I'm seeing the Talia-Nika comparison. I'd love to know more, since I'm not really an expert on Talia. It's very fun.
I know Jay and Lois the best and I really like it too. Jay feels like a standout to me because there are a lot of characters who are based on the Lois archetype. Lois and Clark/Superman are such huge pop culture icons, their relationship dynamic permeates every medium where there's even an inclination towards the superhero genre. Lois shaped plenty of character tropes.
A lot of love interests across Marvel and DC have been given the "journalist" role. It's often directly journalism, but writers try to copy by changing the answers a little by making the love interest's job journalism adjacent, like news reporter, writer, anchor, etc(MJ has been forced into that role, Linda Park-West was a journalist, and now a fiction writer. It's a trope to a point it got parodied in Phineas & Ferb and a bunch of different shows).
Jay is the first male character to be given the archetype, and it's done in a really innovative way. His journalism doesn't exist solely to fulfill the role of being a superman love interest. His interest in it stands independent of Jon and has longstanding effects in the story of DC overall, as we see in the current events with Waller and Suicide Squad.
Lois is the character who upholds 'truth' in Superman stories. Her desire for this comes from her rebellion against her father and her disapproval of corruption and American imperialism. But she is often a white American woman. She has to go to other places, she is not a part of the struggle. She's a medium of sorts.
Jay, on the other hand, lived through the news story Lois was reporting about(she actually investigated Gamorra on her own waaaay before). He's an amplifier, he's the story. His drive to be a journalist comes from a deeply personal place, and his desire to deliver truth is an act of rebellion and liberation for his people. He highlights the voice of a marginalized community the DC Universe. And yeah its a fictional country but Gamorra's struggles are so easily spotted in the real world, it's uncanny. With Jay, it's a lot more focused, it isn't about just a news story anymore. Jay's struggle and the story of Gamorra is ever-present in the DC universe. I think Jay really elevates the "journalist" archetype.
He's also got powers obviously, so he isn't just reporting, he's also taking direct action. It's amazing rep and I think jay and Gamorra's story is really relevant to current times which is why I love it even more.

Fic Qs: 1, 20, 22! :D
1. Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi-chaptered fics?
I definitely (at least theoretically, because I haven't actually written a whole lot of them) prefer long fics, if only because I come up with waaaay more ideas that would lend themselves to longer works than one-shots. Unfortunately there is no way I will ever have the spare time and/or motivation to write them all 🥴
20. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?
I'm not self aware enough for this--uuuuuuh. I think I use a lot of adverbs, probably too many. I like using dreams and visions as plot devices. I love writing quiet moments between characters where not a whole lot happens on the outside but a ton is happening internally. Also love hurting characters so someone can take care of them. Like it's my fault 🙄
22. Are there certain types of writing you won’t do? (style, pov, genre, tropes, etc)
As far as style, POV, genre, I don't think so? I think I would probably be down to try whatever if I thought it suited a particular story idea. For tropes and whatnot, I'm generally not into most "modern" AUs because I'm just picky as hell, so I don't think I'd ever write one myself. I think people are too shaped by their environment to just drop them in a totally different era and still have them be the same character.
send me a number!

Skwis for the love hcs
[Love HCs]
Thank you for enabling me jsddfghsk
Skwisgaar
When they discover they’ve got a crush:
Poor fella is gonna stress himself out. He'll realize something is different when he can't get them off his mind, despite the multitude of distractions available to him. Then comes the panic. When, how? Why can't he stop thinking of them, why does every little thing remind him of them, what if they don't feel the same way no that's impossible he's Skwisgaar Skwigelf OH GOD BUT WHAT IF THEY DON'T. Lots of hyper-focused speed drills while he tries to organize his thoughts
How they confess/hint:
He drops hints by teasing and play-fighting. Not the most mature approach, but it stands out from his usual methods of flirting with someone he's only superficially interested in (sweet talking and softball compliments). It's a little bit of a defense mechanism too, because it lets him maintain his distance in case the interest isn't mutual
Big gestures of love:
Besides spending stupid amounts of money on gifts or trips, this is probably gonna manifest in the bedroom. Skwisgaar is better at showing than telling, and letting his performer's perfectionism slip behind closed doors is a big step despite being the opposite of a grand, showy gesture. When sex becomes less about the physical gratification and more about the emotional connection, he's showing just how much the relationship means to him.
Little gestures of love:
Skwisgaar will do the things he'd normally pawn off on the servants, like hanging up his partner's coat for them or fetching a favorite snack because they made an offhand comment about having the munchies. He'll also allow pretty liberal use of his things, loaning clothes and sharing toiletries, but the teasing will come back as he complains about all his expensive, hand-selected, limited-edition things being used up. It's playful, no matter the rarity he can always get more. He likes when his partner enjoys the same things he does
How to win their heart:
Show up for him. Be supportive and make him feel safe. Stay.
How to break their heart:
Ghost him. He's got such crippling abandonment issues, if he was seriously involved with someone and they did this, it would set him waaaay back on ever opening up to anyone again. He'd feel foolish for ever trusting it would work, and his walls would grow another layer thicker.
Tiny little turn-ons:
Compliments will get him preening, but they'd better be creative because groupies have exhausted all the obvious stuff (he still likes to hear it, just doesn't do as much for him. Same for dirty talk). Neck kisses. Watching his partner work on something they're passionate about.
Big turn-ons:
His partner taking control—but he won't bring it up, it has to be discovered organically.
Things that make their heart flutter:
Playing with his hair, listening and engaging with his infodumps, getting to be the little spoon
Their type:
Physically: no type.
Personality-wise: he likes someone who can challenge him without being combative about it, who pushes him to do better and helps give him perspective on things he might not look twice at.
Goes without saying: must have an appreciation for music beyond simple likes and dislikes of certain genres. It's way too important to him, he'd find it difficult to connect with someone who can't carry on a conversation in this arena
Ideal date:
Something that doesn't require a lot of filling silences with exhausting small talk. A movie or concert, followed by drinks and dinner. His social meter will probably start running out after being out for a while, so home for sex, lounging around in the afterglow while he plays guitar. Share a shower (probably more sex) then cuddling and sleep.
Past relationships:
Nothing serious to speak of, really. He wasn't with his girlfriend in Sweden for very long, but it was comfortable while it lasted and gave him a tiny taste of domesticity which he was surprised he liked so much.
How they might affect current relationships:
She was a little upset since he basically just up and left, but he called and explained after the dust settled. Skwisgaar has no intention of rekindling that particular relationship, and not much more to even visit home any time soon, but better to clear the air than have a drink thrown in his face if he ever wandered back into Malmsteen's pub.
‘Goals’ in a relationship (marriage, kids, a house, etc):
None of the above, Skwisgaar just wants to be loved, full stop. He wants someone who knows him and cares about him, not for what he can give them, just for who he is.
Any other love headcanons:
With the number of people he's been with and the casual nature of so many hookups, he may have a bit of a problem with wandering eyes and empty flirting out of mere routine. If his partner is agreeable to the idea of an open relationship, Skwisgaar does his best to respect the ground rules they establish together. If they're not so keen on that plan, he'll be as mindful as possible about his past habits. Words aren't his forte, but love requires communication, and having these discussions and check-ins with his partner are important to him.

@thoughtfullyrainynightmare tagged meee for posting ten songs on shuffle from a playlist! I dont have spotify, tho, so I've shuffled my Likes list on Youtube Music! And it is a LONG LIST. With a LOT of different songs. I feel like I'm about to embarrass myself.
1. Blue Rose, by Somo
I did think this would be a good song for Yami and Charlotte. Of course, because of the title and a line "wishing on a four leaf clover". I like the soft beat it has and use this for some of my softer moments i want to write or draw.
2. What lovers do, by Maroon 5
This is from waaaay down on the playlist i dont remember any significance it may have held for me or my ships XD i think it was one of those songs I tend to brainrot to or just play, as with my ADHD I'm always thinking all the time about things and music tends to help me focus.
3. Mgno, by Russell Dickerson
This is one of my feel-good songs. One you play to just get the good vibes and energetic feel to your day! Brings to mind dancing people, bouncing, running, and just having a good time!
4. Mikazuki, by Sayuri
I don't exactly remember why I've had this song? The beat sounds nice, and I can imagine some nice scenes to it. But it must have been way down on the list because I really cant remember much. I must have likes it just for the beat.
5. Choice Scarf, by Signal
This is another song that's a bouncy feel-good tune. These are probably some of my favorites. I have quite a few with this similar theme with the vibrating beats and not many lyrics.
6. September-San, by Radwimps
This link isn't the original song but a cover version I liked more. It's softer and more "cute" sounding with the two girls singing. It is Japanese because I'm a huge nerd. I really like a lot of Radwimps music too, they have made things for a lot of Anime Movies you've maybe seen, one of their more well-known ones being "weathering with you."
7. Used To, by Damper (damperghost)
I really like future bass (‘-‘*) its a music genre I find a lot of music i enjoy. I use it for a lot of things like writing, drawing or just playing casually in the BG
8. Nonsense speaker, by Nekobolo
This is a song I have held onto for a long time, and the lyrics may be triggering for people, so PLEASE LISTEN WITH CAUTION. Heavy themes of depression and more. This is a cover by Lollia and is an english translation. It has similar themes to a song called "rolling girl" which some people may know, i know it was kind of famous in some circles. I use this song as a kind of "theme" (one of many) for my Bleach Oc Sakurana, who did not have a happy and loving upbringing, and it affected through her whole life.
9. Karano Kokoro, by Anly
This song is one of the two I've picked to be an ending theme for Silver Season if it was animated. And would specifically display images of Briar and what her life was like before everything had gone bad; so playing with her sisters when they were little, visiting The Lorelai when she had the chance, and seeing the other fairies and who they were before things took a turn for the worst. There is a short English cover by Liz Robinett if you really wanna appreciate the lyrics and how they play in who Briar is and her development with Nozel.
10. Beautiful, by Treasure
And of COURSE OF ONE MY FAVORITE BLACK CLOVER SONG'S HAD TO MAKE AN APPERANCE. This is one of the ending themes for Black Clovers anime, the 13th one, to be specific. Listening to it play while watching the ending or an AMV someone made to it easily makes me emotional. I am a huge simp and can be brought to tears with this song and Everlasting Shine by Tomorrow X Together. If you haven't seen either, please click the links. The animation is so nice.
Anyone else is free to share their own music shuffle adventures! I wont be tagging anyone since i see everyone else already has been, have fun and thanks for listening!

hello hello!
you mentioned you do freelance graphic designs for book covers?? that's so cool!! do you have any examples of past projects you are willing/legally able to share?
Offhand, here's some romance covers I've done in various genres (I do all genres, but since a lot of my clients are self-published authors or small publishing imprints, romance novels make up the bulk of my jobs).....
Also the colors on the print covers here look off because those files were specifically optimized for print runs, and compensate for the fact that certain hues and colors end up waaaay lighter once printed so they have to be designed with that in mind, meaning on computer screens they show up very different than the finished printed product. I have entirely separate files for the ebook only covers, where the colors are optimized for web viewing, but I'm at my day job right now so just grabbed what files I have handy on my phone, lol.

This sounds so fake but guess what my name starts with... lol yeah it's J... Also I might have black hair and blue eyes
I do listen to like a lot of genres of music but I agree with you! I mostly rock/alternative music and punk! And yeah I understand the energy thing for instruments. What are your "main" instrument/s?
My philosophy when it comes to tattoos is if it looks nice I'll get it, cause I'm gonna cover myself in them. A lot of my tattoos are stick n pokes that are wonky but I love them.
If you don't want to be covered in tattoos like me, I say maybe start with something smaller? Also pinterest is your best friend in this! Choose something that means something to you and start there.
The first real tattoo I got in a studio was an album cover from an artist who had passed the year before I got it. All my tattoos are black and white, I have two that are extremely cliche, a rose on my hand and a crying heart lmao.
No waaaay, this is so cool, lol (/◕ヮ◕)/
I play violin and ukulele - similar but different, haha. And yes, I played violin as an ukulele and ukulele as a violin (kinda works, but not really, lol).
Teehee, your tattoos sound so awesome :D There are too many fun ideas on pinterest!
But okay, alright. I want this, damn it! I can't be tattooless anymore! I'm going to do this this year! (yeah, I know it's only February, but I still have to overthink it a little, hehe :))
Also, I'm pretty sure my first tattoo is gonna be a cat of some sort, because, you know. Cats <3 (´・ω・`)
Bye J!

Sorry I could talk movies all day! I tried to reply to this with a comment but I have waaaay too much to say…
Totally agree with what you’re saying regarding remakes.
I think the creators behind baby reindeer said at the Emmys that studios need to take chances with unique/unknown projects and I think this is largely the problem! The landscape has totally changed, most studios want a guaranteed success that’s going to pull in the big bucks but in an ideal world that’s not what cinema should be about (I know, I know it’s still gotta make money). They’ll go along the route of remaking movies they know bring in an audience but we should be getting something fresh that pays homage to the movies we all love (this is why I quite liked Do Revenge, it wasn’t totally reinventing the wheel but it was different enough whilst respecting the genre and paying homage to a bunch of 90s/00s romcoms).
I know Matt Damon has spoken before about studios no longer taking risks when making films because of the pressure to earn $$$ at the box office because home entertainment (dvds etc) used to be a much larger market where they could make up the revenue, so there was less pressure to make so much money releasing a film and you had the opportunity to cater to a smaller audience - that’s a large reason they don’t make rom coms like they used to (which is so gutting). I actually used to work in home entertainment briefly for a big studio and that entire department were made redundant for that studio because it just wasn’t bringing in the money it used to so they ended up combining it with another studios home entertainment dept.
I recently saw Strange Darling and loved it so much because it felt like watching a movie made by people who really love movies (and it’s filmed on 35mm so visually it’s a dream). I just really love going to the cinema and seeing something that feels fresh like this where you can feel the love of filmmaking that’s been poured into it and renews your own love/passion for cinema! I often think taking risks produces really things.
I could go into how I think a lot of creative cinema died when the Big Studios bought/acquired the indie studios and started churning out a lot of repetitive stuff but I’ve been going on long enough…
Sorry this is soooo long winded but I love an excuse to talk film ✨
Please, do not apologize for length haha, have you seen my answers to things?
Plus I LOVE this! I wanna talk about this all day, seriously.
I absolutely agree and I am a MAJOR fan of Do Revenge for those exact reasons. That director/writer is phenomenal, I really look up to her. She is also the writer for Someone Great, which is one of my favs for sure.
And yes, I get that they need to make money, I get why the sequeals and remakes are happening, I mean, obviously, people are going to see them. I end up seeing them out of curiosity half the time or I am genuinely excited - but overall, it's a let down. And yes, I wish the companies realized exactly what the baby reindeer creators said. I just think, overall, audiences miss the theater. They miss new stories. And if companies poured more resources into making those new and unique stories, I think they'd be pleasantly surprised on what happens in terms of box office sales and reviews.
I'm so sorry that happened with your job! It's so disheartening to hear how much things have changed in the industry and how this has happened to so many people. I just watched an interview with Matt Damon where he was talking about that exactly, just like you said. I loved, and still love, getting DVDs of my favorite films. There was something so magical about seeing a film in theaters and then having to wait to buy the DVD months later or receive it as a gift. I wish that didn't go away.

39.
1. Did you wake up cranky?
No, I struggled to wake up but felt surprisingly fine once I did.
2. Would you date an 18-year-old at the age you are now?
Nah. They're waaaay too young.
3. Do you prefer to be friends with girls or boys?
I don't really care, but I've always had more girl friends. I guess I just relate to them better.
4. Would you ever smile at a stranger?
Yeah, why not.
5. Can you commit to one person?
Tbh, I definitely have some commitment issues. Not so much in a sense that I need to be with more people at once, but rather that as soon as things start looking serious (even with friends), my avoidant attachment kicks in.
6. How do you look right now?
Just as I always do when I'm sitting around the house.
7. What exactly are you wearing right now?
Black leggings, black socks, and a black Christmas sweater with a deer on it. Yes, I'm aware we're waaay past Christmas now.
8. How often do you listen to music?
Usually I listen to it in the car.
9. Do you wear jeans or sweats more?
Jeans, but lately cargos are my go-to.
10. Do you think your life will change dramatically before 2014?
Lol damn. Well, I don't think my life changed dramatically then, but it did in 2014.
11. Are you a social or an antisocial person?
I'm not either, I guess you'd say I'm a bit asocial. But I'm not actively antisocial.
12. If the person you like says they like someone else, what would you say?
Well, nothing. I mean, what can I do? I'd just accept it and try to move on.
13. Are you good at hiding your feelings?
A little too good, I'd like to unlearn some of that.
14. Can you drive a stick shift?
Yup.
15. Do you care if people talk badly about you?
Sure, I don't think anyone enjoys when other speak badly about them.
16. Are you going out of town soon?
Probably, yes. To this big teambuilding event.
17. When was the last time you cried?
I know for sure I cried on Tuesday.
18. Have you ever liked someone you didn’t expect to?
Hmm, you could kind of say so. I never really expected to consider dating a girl.
19. If you could change your eye color, would you?
I like my eye colour, but sure. Wouldn't hurt to try a different one.
20. Name something you have to do tomorrow?
Tomorrow will just be a day for seeing people I haven't seen for a while.
21. Name something you dislike about the day you’re having.
My day was actually perfectly and then I suddenly started feeling so restless at 12 AM and had no idea what to do. That happens so often, like everything's just fine and then my brain goes like "But aren't you enjoying yourself too much?" Like, leave me alone, man.
22. Have you ever liked one of your best friends of the opposite sex?
Another difficult question, so I'll say kinda. And I think that same friend liked me back at the time.
23. Are you nice to everyone?
I try to be, but tbh, I wish I wasn't really always.
24. What are you sitting on right now?
The couch in my living room.
25. Do you think you can last in a relationship for 6 months and not cheat?
Cheating would not be the issue at all. The issue would be if I'm able to not get spooked by feelings and run away. I used to be better about this, but I feel like I've definitely regressed in this department.
26. Have you ever wanted someone you couldn’t have?
Not really.
27. Who was the last person you talked to before you went to bed last night?
I think my cat lol.
28. Do you get a lot of colds?
Not normally, but in the past few months I did.
29. Have your pants ever fallen down in public?
Nope.
30. Does anyone hate you?
I don't know. I can think of one person who might, but I'm not sure even she does either.
31. Do you have someone of the opposite sex you can tell everything to?
Kind of, but I'm not sure I could tell everything to anyone.
32. Do you like watching scary movies?
Yess, my favourite genre.
33. Are you a jealous person?
Not normally. But I've had my moments in the past, when I was much younger.
34. If you had to delete one year of your life completely, which would it be?
I don't think I'd delete any of them. Even 2020 and 2023, both of which absolutely sucked, I'd still keep.
35. Did you have a dream last night?
I did but I completely forgot what it was about.
36. Is there anyone you can tell EVERYTHING to?
Again, I do think there are people who would listen and not judge, but the problem is literally just in me and my need for privacy.
37. Do you think you’ll be married in 5 years?
No. I have no interest in marriage.
38. Do you think someone has feelings for you?
Idk, I rarely assume that. The friend I mentioned before, I'm not sure if he still feels that way and I'm also not sure how serious another friend is when he jokingly talks about us dating. But I'm always inclined to say no.
39. Do you think someone is thinking about you right now?
I doubt it, it's late and most people I know are asleep.
40. Did you have a good day yesterday?
It was good, actually.
41. Think back 2 months ago; were you in a relationship?
Nope.
42. Is your life anything like it was two years ago?
In some ways it is, in other ways, it's completely different. My living situation is largely the same, but I feel like I've totally changed as a person in the past few years.
43. If the person you wish to be with were with you, what would you be doing right now?
I don't have such a person.
44. What’s the best part about school?
When you're done and you can go home.
45. Do you have any pictures on your Facebook?
I deleted my FB.
46. Do you ever pass notes to your friends in school?
We did pass notes sometimes, and then later we transitioned to texting.
47. Do you replay things that have happened in your head?
Often. Way, way too often.
48. Were you single over the last summer?
Of course I was.
49. What are you supposed to be doing right now?
Nothing really, thank god. I'm so so tired of work.
50. Don’t tell me lies, is the last person you texted attractive?
She's cute.

ngl when i imagine what a toontown take on the fantasy adventure genre would be like. i think it would be along the lines of cookie run kingdom
Ooohh man I have NOT played CR:K in like over a year, let alone CROB also - but I can totally see that! A wide array of Toons with fun costumes in a fantastical medieval land... Basically YOTT+! (And probably waaaay cooler i NEEEED to see actual Toons witg magic!! What sorta magic would Toons have compared to us imagining humans having magic!!!)
Though, I don't really have ideas on this aside from that, I'm not the biggest fantasy fan and the games I know and have played that fit this genre the most would be CR:K and Skyrim and those are VERY different moods of fantasy
... Oh man I would love a stupid Skyrim mod to run around as a Toon. Dragonborn Flippy adventure, can anyone see my vision.
Ohh, could even be like Miitopia, but I haven't been able to play that yet - that game is meant to be inherently silly so it'd fit very well!!
Ok now I can imagine very goofy wars between Toon kingdoms, over very silly cartoon things like WHAT PIE FLAVOR IS TASTIER. Or TRAP OR DROP!!! Okay, get pied.
