Relevant to my last post and the post about being careful not to ascribe the motivation of one deity to all and the reveal that we did not see Arcadia/Ioun at all until the very end of episode 3: I need to revisit the first Arcadia scenes because some of what she says, especially in the scene where the other Primes believe themselves to be among only Prime Deities because she does say "well, they'll end up in the afterlife!" which I don't think is out of line for a deity of knowledge to say but takes on a new callousness, and because her advice not to destroy the Factorum without knowing how it works suddenly becomes much more significant both as a delaying tactic and an intended weapon of the Betrayers.

Ur last posts tags spoke to me personally. Like magical girl, swan lake, and little prince gachas? Yes, yes, and yes! Ive been rotating these in my head for so long.
"It is your own fault," said the little prince. "I never wished you any sort of harm; but you wanted me to tame you..."
"Yes, that is so," said the fox.
"But now you are going to cry!" said the little prince.
"Yes, that is so," said the fox.
"Then it has done you no good at all!"
"It has done me good," said the fox, "because of the color of the wheat fields."
^ this is SO wxs like oh my god. I’d love to know what role u think they’d be in the story
And idk much abt the other stories you said but I trust they would also slap as gachas
oh i love you. listen
i could honestly make a case for any wxs member in any role but i think the best fits for their characters are emu as the little prince, rui as the narrator, nene as the fox and tsukasa as the rose. or perhaps it's my emu favoritism talking
i'm not even sure how to justify or explain myself for each decision. source: trust me bro. emu has held on to her whimsy but lives in loneliness and rui has had his creativity stomped down throughout his life and nene's timidness gives way to her earnest desire to connect with other people and tsukasa cried and threw up because he's not special. does anyone understand me
again i think there's argument to be had for other roles, i think they could all potentially fit as the narrator in some way or another. or like, tsukasa as the little prince or nene as the rose or emu or rui as the fox could all work too. come into my inbox and send anons saying im super wrong so i have an excuse to talk about it more please.
OK wxs swan lake i will wait for until my final breath like they can't just make one of emu and rui's cheerful carnival team names "the duck and the crow" and expect me to NOT make this about princess tutu. you're joshing me colopal. though i think rui and nene would pass away doing ballet i know they are not doing their stretches sorry

The obnoxious thing is that because Star Wars has a very open canon, because there are undisclosed animated projects probably in works and will probably be more in the future, and because things can be picked up at any time there are ways to salvage that finale and pay things off that are very satisfying and very Star Wars, so I’m sitting here like…pspspspspsps Lucasfilm…you can still save this….

This is a picture from half a year ago, but it occurred to me yesterday while I was keeping Lilja’s head in place during her second treatment that these animals really have to trust us a hecking lot to just let us do these things to them.
She’s been drugged to stay calm and feel a bit less as her teeth get filed down from being like a staircase to nearly straight (it was bad, now it’s almost good). Machines that make loud noises and vibrate get put in her mouth and there’s weird smelling dust everywhere. Meanwhile her human is gently patting her hair and praising her for staying put, and half an hour later she’s back with Fjara and eating hay like nothing happened.
Same goes for the other 3 (namely Týra, Solita and Ieniemini), who just come walking up to you after all that, asking for a treat (and a brush bc it’s shedding season and they’re all itchy ladies).
I don’t really think about it often, but sometimes it’ll hit me how much they trust that we have their best interests at heart and they know this in their own way.
