I agree. Fia's Champs are the same way. The NPC builds are super interesting and there's basically no lore so it's ripe for headcanons. Elden Ring invaders are unusually lore-heavy for a Souls game, and I honestly think that the offline versions of Great-Jar and Fia's Champs are the closest equivalent ER has to the summons/invaders of the Dark Souls trilogy (esp DS2) in terms of how fertile they are for hcs/fics. I get the sense that a lot of that ground is untapped because most people play online and might never experience the offline versions of those fights.
