anath is a student/apprentice of rarity, who initially they didnt get along for various reasons (do you notice i made them look as antithetical and unappealing to rarity as possibly) but now they see each other as family and rarity is a huge mother figure for her. rarity saw a lot of spike in anath and that was one of the reasons she started growing so close to her

zap apple wants to be the first earth pony to be in the wonderbolts. his older sister, aurora apple, desperately wants to get away from the family and just do her own thing

it took twilight and pinkie a long time to get together so thats why jellybean is the youngest lol. the poly relationship is twilight x pinkie and pinkie x cheese but not twilight x cheese

klaus is just some guy that pandora thinks is neat

pandora and anath cant stand each other

skyla is kind of in the group by proxy and because shes cousins w jellybean etc etc but she 1. lives in the crystal kingdom 2. kind of feels excluded sometimes because shes kind of just there cus their parents are all friends

on the other hand, lil' cheese and flurry heart are huge friends, despite the fact that flurry heart is prolly like 5 years or so older than him.

flurry heart and bundt cake dont rly know each other but lil cheese and bundt cake have been besties since they were born cus they were born around the same time and grew up together

So in the RWBY fandom they do their ship names by using words or phrases associated with both characters and using that as the ship name instead of just fusing names together, E.G Checkmate (Weiss X Blake) or Lucky Charms (Qrow X Clover) (I hope that's the right ones I've never seen the show)

I think the mlp fandom should also adopt this naming format because while some name fusion ship names work and sound good E. G Lyrabon or Moonlight (Moondancer x Twilight) others sound kinda bad and don't roll of the tounge, like PinkieDash or especially DitzyTop/DerpyTop and any combo of Tavi and Vinyls Names. So yeah, let's do it with words and phrases instead. Some Examples:

In all honesty, I adore and love the yuri stuff much more, like FlutterDash, RariJack, TwiShimmer, Octavia x Vinyl, Lyra x Bon Bon. That is my personal opinion. But I also like a little bit of Button Mash and Sweetie Belle, knowing its just a OC to a actual character. But like I said I always care more for the yuri stuff. Though I never know why I don't like much ships with male x female, I hope its not a bother to you. So I pretty much care more for FlutterDash

Generally speaking, when it comes to general romance, I tend to prefer Yuri ships, and if its more ‘porn’ then I tend to prefer MxF. 

Really I love any romance where the romance feels enjoyable and believable, where there’s chemistry and a story to be told. So MxF, FxF, MxM, and any other combination there-of and beyond, just tell me a good story with good characters.

And really there’s nothing wrong with having a personal preference, especially when it comes in terms of sexual preference. You generally want to see representation of your sexuality, or even just that of what you’re interested in. I definitely gush about both MxF and FxF ships because those tend to be the ones that align more with my sexuality and gender, being Bigender and all.

Never be ashamed of what ships you enjoy or prefer, or what TYPES of ships you enjoy! And I don’t mind answering shipping questions either, so if there’s any ship, regardless of the type, I’m more than happy to answer them!
