so here i am writing my own (actually a fork of st) terminal in c, and we have this kind of cursed code.
so maybe anyone knows a lot about x11 and xlib and maybe a better way to look into the mime type targets, and check if it actually has the "STRING" target. because XConvertSelection forces the image/png target to be a string if you ask it for a string (i think)

i saw this post and decided that i had some time spare, i could give AI another go. (link to post https://www.tumblr.com/dibelonious/778852078032404480/now-that-ai-made-troubleshooting-ridiculously. dont harass the poor old sod obviously.)
i hear a lot of people irl at uni and some online say ai is great for coding, and so every couple months i try it out. sometimes with a very small project in a popular language (python or c, usually. though im forgiveful with c as everyone fucks up c.), sometimes with something simple (i.e. a couple lines tops with a naive approach if written idiomatically) but in a more unusual language with full documentation online. (like sed! yay!)
but every single time i come to the conclusion that even with being handheld chatgpt could not do what it was asked to do. even if someone tells it every issue in its outputs, itll remember for only one prompt. even if someone tells it the solution, itll find a new way to fuck it up.
below the cut is me trying to get chatgpt to make a working sed script that prints "meowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww..." (long post warning)
(if anything reads weirdly, this was originally a reblog to the screenshotted post, then i decided to make it its own post. so that may be why.)
i cant remember the last time i ran into an issue that i couldnt fix in like ... 5 minutes. but knowing what chatgpt is like, any ask i give it will give me issues to troubleshoot. (yes this example is code, not linux proper. but its more of the same doing that.)
the other day i decided to write "meowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....." in many different languages, after seeing @brainfuck-official do it in BF. (link to post https://www.tumblr.com/brainfuck-official/773510105608192000) as is my blog, i asked it to do this in sed.
great! this script doesnt work! it doesnt even come *close* to working, giving me plenty to try out chatgpt's troubleshooting skills! it also just doesnt make much sense. why the shebang but not making it executable? and why are the flags different (ones -f, ones -nf). also a counter? why though? thats not what im asking for? (you can see tags for a brief explanation on how to add a counter)
after telling it the script doesnt work (and why, something someone troubleshooting likely wont know) it just adds in a P. a command that prints a damn newline. but it lies about it printing a newline.
(if you dont believe it prints a trailing newline and believe the AI instead, just try echo -n foo | sed -n 'P ; P')
anyways it alternated between no print statements and printing with newlines for the next ... 8 prompts, by which time i felt sorry for the poor bugger and told it to use e to print without a newline.
all the while it was trying to be more useful and add a count - making it print my string after n repeats instead of the infinite that i asked for. it was trying to subtract 1 with effectively s/[0-9]+/&-1/ which just appends the string "-1" to a number!
anyways, i tell it to use "the e command". there are three different versions of the e command in sed, and only one of them makes sense here. which did chatgpt use? none! it used the e regex modifier! which executes your pattern hold, then turns the output into the new pattern hold. and does not print anything.
ill just screenshot the last couple interactions minus only the useless exposition it adds to every response so you can see how stupid it is
ignoring sed's requirement for an input this is equivalent to the python
to be fair i never said there shouldnt be infinite meows, and this does have infinite Ws. but come the fuck on. this is clearly not whats being asked for.
#linux is best - yes. but learn to troubleshoot properly.#blindly copying code online without understanding it isnt troubleshooting.#regardless if that code came from stackoverflow or chatgpt.#anyways maybe it wouldve been better to write the equivalent in C with gotos and labels?#but at least everyone knows python#and i dont need to write c this way#also decided to see if it could find any info about me if i give it my name and county of origin#which is identifiable information but its outdated as ive changed my name (trans :3) and moved away.#anyways it thought i was from l*nd*n.#i told it where i was from (West Country. Very Much Not london.) and it thought i was a londoner. what in the hell.#yes if i said the name of most counties to an american online theyd probably think its in london.#but thats before they google the damn place! and this bot has access to the whole internet!#(for the yanks: it did the equivalent of calling an appalachian a californian)#(or at least i think thats close enough. im not really all that sure about what happens over the pond. and i like my ignorance here.)#wait the documentation tells you how to make a counter. at least twice.#IT COULD COPY CODE FROM THE INFO PAGES FOR THE COUNTER AND IT STILL GOT IT WRONG EVEN AFTER BEING TOLD WHY ITS WRONG#oh my god.#anyways in the docs they wanted to print the number. you can just hold n chars and remove one each loop#then break the loop when your hold is empty.#thats the easiest way ive found of looping n times (if you need the hold do this on a prepended line)#(not efficient but you can make it more efficient if you want. the docs explain how to! but its more effort and easy to fuck up soooooo...)#printing n ws though? just use e printf like it bloody demonstrates itself#no need to do inefficient shit in sed when someones written it in c for you.

The main thing about agonophilia that confuses me is that all of what you describe about I would just describe as, like. Sadomasochism? I like just about all the same things as you, I just call myself a sadist about it. If you'll indulge me, can you explain how would you describe your relationships to the words "sadist" and "masochist" in relation to agonophilia b/c I feel like there's a nuance there I'm not catching.
Sadomasochism feels like it is a broader category while agonophilia is more narrow. That's about the main thing. Most agonophilia is sadomasochistic but a lot of BDSM is not agonophilia. One refers to all situations involving pain and domination, while the other is specifically about fighting/struggling.
A generic sadomasochistic scene could involve character A being tortured, enslaved, or abused by character B, but that is not necessarily agonophilia by itself.
To be agonophilia it would have to also involve character A fighting character B. This doesn't necessarily have to be a physical fight but that is the most common form.
To give two concrete examples:
Scenario 1- A proud elf queen has her kingdom overrun by horny invaders offscreen and the scene starts with her forces having already surrendered. She becomes the enemy king's sex slave and is humiliated, but is in no position to fight.
This is not agonophilia.
Scenario 2- The proud elf queen is challenged to a duel by the Decapitation Demon, Slicer of a Thousand Necks. Overconfident, she marches out to meet them and their battle is a "main feature" of the scene. The queen accumulates various wounds before finally being defeated and decapitated. The demon still gets her headless body pregnant somehow while her still-living head watches.
That is agonophilia.
For another example, consider this fight from a hentai doujin (Ikusa Otome to Ikusa Goto! ~Onna Samurai Hen~):
This one takes over 100 pages to even get to the sex because the main character is busy fighting a monster, so combat is emphasized over just sex.
It's not even the cleanest example because the combat and the sex are not very directly connected in that doujin. Fighting a strong opponent and almost dying just makes her horny enough to masturbate and eventually go fuck some guy (I guess she has an agonophilia kink too).
In the typical version of the kink that I usually think about the winner of the fight takes the loser as a trophy with sexual uses instead.

Had my first real success with reverse engineering a game - was able to edit a few binary instructions and make a rudimentary hack for a game that works in both singleplayer and multiplayer. I'll probably convert it to an injected DLL and expand it sometime this week.
Some notes:
Hacking Unity games is playing on easy mode. They have a metadata folder that ships with the Game Assembly DLL that gives you function names and types for a lot of the code. I think for experienced reverse engineers this probably matters a lot less, but for me it would have taken at least 10 times longer to figure things out, and possibly much more.
Ghidra was my tool of choice and it works pretty well.
Decompilation (the process of turning assembly code into plausible C/C++ that could generate it) is both miraculous and reasonably messy - there's a lot of using two variables for what is obviously a cast from one variable to another, using one variable for what is clearly several different variables that just happen to use the same register, tortured syntax for what is basically just an is_null check, gotos, repeated code, etc.
I remember more assembly than I thought! Patching the instructions wasn't bad.
I've really enjoyed this thus far and am considering trying some CTF problems once I finish this current project to my satisfaction.

Gang Questions 2
1. What are each of the gang’s stances on kids? (including Ryuu)
2. What’s the love language of each member of the gang? (besides teasing)
3. Which of the gang could you take on in a fight? (physically or emotionally)
4. Will Daiki ever get a girlfriend? :C
Gang Questions!!
None of those men should be given a child HA (half joke) 😂 Slightly more genuine answer: Goto I think would like to one day be a dad, but it's not something his girlfriend is currently interested in, so it's not something he's thinking about; Itsuki isn't interested in fatherhood per se but is super game to be the cool uncle one day; Daiki doesn't think, so he would never be a dad on purpose because that is not what is on his brain during the process (he'd step up, though, albeit not necessarily competently ahahahaha); and Michi, Ryuu, and Sho are all varying degrees of uninterested for varying reasons.
Oooooh I am admittedly not super informed on the theory of different love languages, but going by gut instinct/light googling, I'd say: Goto—Words of affirmation/Quality time; Itsuki—Acts of service; Daiki—Physical touch/Receiving gifts; and Michi—Acts of service.
None of them, I am a weak baby both physically and emotionally who is only capable of writing characters who are sassier than myself because I have literal days to ruminate on what their comebacks would be to the various shenanigans I throw them into 😂😂
I'm sure he will someday!!! 😂 Maybe not in the duration of the comic itself, just because there aren't exactly any viable ladies for him to date amongst my cast, but I'm sure one day he'll manage to pull someone, he just might need to be in slightly different circumstances first 😂

Hello!
Checking out your blog, I noticed that you use C++ and seem quite knowledgeable on it, so I wanted to ask for your help (if it doesn't bother you!).
I've completed the two C++ courses in SoloLearn (which are quite superficial, but serve as good introductions, I believe), and I'm currently reading "The C++ Programming Language", by Bjarne Stroustrup. My issue is that I'm a bit afraid of not really understanding anything and/or being unable to write any functional code by myself. Therefore, I wanted to ask if you had any resources and/or tips that could be helpful for a beginner like me (the only language I've ever used before is HTML, and so I thought it was a good idea to go straight to C++ for the challenge of it xd).
It NEVER bothers me to blabber about code! :D
I LOVE C++
So first a long rant, and then my answer :3
C++ will probably forever be my favorite langauge.
But many do not like it, and it is actually somewhat rare to see as a language a professional uses.
Why? Because one should use a language for what it is good at.
And what is C++ good at?
Well, one of its neatest features is that it is a object oriented language.
It is also a language where you can create objects, but the language ITSELF is object oriented.
C++ is a derived class of the baseclass C
And it have the same philosophy as C
You can do ANYTHING!
You can EASILY write garanteed memory safe code in C++
You can write psydocode that have the same safety garantees as Rust.
Or you can go for 100% performsnce, dancing with void pointers and GOTOs!
Craft a class so it gets build, moved, removed used and works EXACTLY how you want it to! Down to the smallest details!
Write halfway object oriented and half functional!
If it can be done on a computer, it can be done in C++!
It may not be the language most often used. Often there are better languages for creating things
But knowing C++ means that you never again have to fully learn another language.
A C++ programmer KNOWS what a computer can do, so it is just a question of googeling the syntax for whatever language we are writing it in that day :D
Rant over. Answer time! :D
When I have to get a bit familiar with a new language I usually build a HTTP server :3
It is easy enough to look up for help, it means you work with everything you know
Slap it on a raspberry pie 0 or 3 depending on your wallet and bam! You have your own fileserver! :D
Connect a SSD into the raspberry pie 3 and bam, you now have your own cloud storage! :D
That is ALWAYS a useful thing :3
Keep it on your own network with a passwork and use MDNS to use it and it is 100% safe.
Because you piggybag on all the security wirless networks come with these days :3

January 18 – Part 4
The spell worked. Once at the hospital, James handed Jillian over to the hospital staff and they rushed her into the ER. To his surprise, his sister-in-law Annalise was on duty. He didn't even know she worked at this hospital. He thought it was at another one, granted he hasn't paid much attention to what she does, unless it involves his wife.
He sits down on a couch in one of the waiting areas, feeling physically drained but not wanting to show it. He knows he's reached his limit with his magic for a good forty eight hours.
"I really shouldn't be telling you this, you're not her family member." Annalise tells him after she had helped stabilize Jillian, she was now being prepped for an emergency C-section, which would be handled by her OB-GYN- Dr. Goto. Annalise agreed to scrub in and help if needed.
"I just want to know if they're alive, Annalise. I'm not asking for all the dirty details." James tells her, rolling his eyes.
"Jillian is stable though unconscious, the baby is still in distress. They're prepping her for an emergency C-Section as we speak." Annalise tells him, wondering why he even cares. It stuns her that James is the one who brought the pregnant woman in. "It's a good thing you got her here when you did because if you hadn't, both of them wouldn't have made it." She leaves it at that and leaves to go get ready for the surgery.
James sits there, digesting that news for a few moments. He pulls out his phone, seeing he has service once again. He calls his spy to get the number of Dakota. The phone conversation with Dakota goes as well to be expected and it isn't long before he and Joey are at the hospital.
Dakota wants to see Jillian, to apologize for blowing up at her but he's told that even though he's the father of the child, it's best he not be in the operating room. Dr. Goto is honest with him and tells him he isn't totally sure how it's going to go. Jillian is stable but has remained unconscious and the baby is in distress. Dakota is a ball of worry and blaming himself as James approaches him.
"Umm...thank you for....getting them here." Dakota tells him. It feels heavy coming out of his mouth. He doesn't trust the older warlock and his fight with Jillian was about her not telling him about James' visit but James had gotten Jillian to the hospital.
James nods, feeling out of place. This isn't his usual role in the grand scheme of things.
"I don't understand what she was doing out in that weather to start with." James voices. In the middle of the night, on the outskirts of town, in the middle of winter no less -is not where you usually find a eight month pregnant woman.
"We had a fight. About you actually." Dakota admits, it takes a lot for him not to just blame James. He kind of started it but he didn't make Jillian not tell Dakota and he didn't make Dakota yell at her instead of talking to her about it.
James raises an eyebrow and he thinks back to what his little spy told him. So Dakota found out. Hmm. He didn't give Jillian the book to cause problems - for once - he did it because he knew she'd love it and it's rare to find someone who enjoys books like he does.
"You flew off the handle at her, didn't you?" James asks though he knows the answer. Dakota kind of reminds him of himself when he was younger. He can tell the young man has a temper. James still has one, when he was younger he let it control him at times. He's learned to manage it better with age.
Dakota crosses his arms "Excuse me?" He asks. How in the world did James know that?
"She's eight month pregnant. Pregnancy Hormones and someone getting in your face don't mesh well." He tells the man beside him. He pinches the bridge of his nose in aggravation. Young people. "Next time, don't let her leave in the middle of the night, okay? I can't be around all the time."
And with that, James leaves the hospital. Dakota stood there, wanting to punch something or someone. He didn't understand where James of all people got off on trying to call him out on his behavior when Jillian is the one who kept something from him. But that doesn't matter right now. He still loves her and he's worried about her and his son.
Garrett and Denise arrive at the hospital shortly after Dakota's chat with James, Andrew is out of town for his first game with his team. They sit in the waiting room with himself and Joey, waiting for news. Denise goes to the Hospital Chapel for a bit to pray for her daughter and grandson. It seems like time stands still. Naturally Garrett asks questions and Dakota fills him in the best he can without fully getting into his fight with Jillian. He doesn't need her Dad trying to rip his face off in the waiting room of the Hospital. Though Garrett is usually one of the most calm people you'll meet, when it comes to his kids, it's a different story.
Annalise comes out right after Mr. and Mrs. Garrett go to get some coffee.
"How are they?" Dakota asks her.
"It was close but Jillian and the baby made it through. The baby is doing quite well to be honest now that he's born, we will still want to keep him for a few days for observation." Annalise tells the men. If she had to guess, she'd say the baby has a magical blood coursing through his tiny veins and it's helping him survive.
"Jillian?" Joey asks as he watches his brother thinking about what he's been told.
"She is slowly waking up from anesthesia. Given that she was unconscious before we even placed her under, it may be a slow process. We'll be keeping her for a bit, she needs to recover from the operation and she lost quite a bit of blood during it as well." Annalise tells them.
"Can I see my son?" Dakota asks.
"Of course, only two at a time. He's in the nursery upstairs." Annalise tells the new father. She's sure he didn't picture his son's birth going like this.
"When can we see Jillian?" Joey asks, he's grown pretty fond of Jillian and is worried about her, as well as his nephew. He's just trying to be strong for his little brother and not think of himself during all this.
"Once she's in a room, you can see her. One at a time please." Annalise says before going to check on another patient.
By the time Dakota gets upstairs to the nursery, Jillian's parents have beat him up there somehow.
"Oh honey, our first grandbaby! Isn't he precious??" Denise asks, carefully holding the newborn up for her husband to see.
"He sure is and to think our little Jilly Bean wanted to include her Dad in his name." Garrett boosts proudly. Dakota decides to let them have their moment before he swoops in and holds his son for the first time.
"Slade Garrett Laws. Has quite the ring to it." Denise says, cradling the little boy to her. She just prays her little girl gets to hold him soon.

This show ruled. Full disclosure, I've fallen behind with NJPW in the last couple of years, and only really get to fully see the major shows, so going in this looked like a solid little card on paper, so my expectations weren't exactly sky high. However, the New Japan crew knocked it out of the park with an excellent, Show of the Year contender. Things started as they always do: The annual "cram everyone humanly possible onto the card" Rambo. We all know what to expect here, and this was better than a lot of previous offerings, but the surprise appearance of Fujita "Jr" Hayato in this years really raised it up for me, as I'm always super pleased to see him back in the ring after all he's been through. Takashi Iizuka turning up was also a nice surprise (absence makes the heart grow fonder, and all that), and it was a kick to be transported back to 2013 with him mercilessly going after poor Shimpei Nogami on commentary. The ending though was very deja vu, as I could have sworn some incredibly similar variant of this was the outcome last year. The final four of Great-O-Khan, Taiji Ishimori, YOH and Toru Yano advanced to face off for the KOPW Title tomorrow.
The main show started in style with the prerequisite Jr Tag Title Match, which featured TJP debuting his new demon gimmick, The Aswang, because he was locked in a casket when last we saw him, you see. My English feed froze at the opening bell on the Aswang mask for ages, and by the time I'd gotten back onto the Japanese feed, I'd missed like three minutes of this, there were brawls all over ringside, The Aswang was wearing a dog collar, and Moloney was bleeding. The final 5 or so minutes I did see were pretty damn good though, so that's what my rating is based on. TJP got this win for him and Akira after he blew the dreaded Dokukiri into Drilla's face, then Catch 22 hit the double knees to regain the titles at 9:38. Next up, President Tanahashi put an end to the 365 day TV Title reign of ZSJ in an excellent 8:53 sprint. These guys always have excellent matches together, and this was no exception. They worked a fast-paced thriller, which boiled down to them hitting a sequence of cradle reversals, before Tana counter a Zack Victory Roll into one of his own, and won the belt to a big pop. President Ace thanked everyone for coming in the post match, and wished us all a Happy New Year. Godly.
Career rivals Tsuji and Uemura had their first non-Young Lion outing on a major show next. This was a very good little match, I've always been high on both guys since they were rookies, and I firmly believe they have incredibly bright futures in New Japan, and are destined to be focal points in the years to come. Even though I do wish they'd do more with Yota. The guy came in super hot, with a ton of hype, and now he's kinda just floundering in the mid-card. And more mid-carders is most certainly not something this company needs! They always have really good matches, so add this one to that list, which ended at just under 11 minutes, when Uemura got the much needed win with his beautiful Deadbolt suplex. Fellow future superstar Shota Umino drove into Tokyo Dome on a motorbike to start his and partner, NOAH "Ace" Kiyomiya's tag match against HoT goons EVIL and Ren Narita next. This was going along really nicely, the three young guys all looked great, and the crowd were very much into, until the standard shenanigans started, which lead to a fairly abrupt finish, which saw Narita deck Umino with a steel plated push-up bar, then score the pin with his Double Cross finish at the 7 minute mark.
The fifth bout saw company MVP Shingo defend the NEVER Title against Tama Tonga in a hard-hitting war, which was by far the best match on the show up to this point. The near 30K in attendance were going crazy for this as they hit all their big spots, massive Lariats and Gun Stun counters. After Takagi scored a great near fall with Made in Japan, Tama went to the Bullet Club well, hitting a Gun Stun, Bloody Sunday AND a Styles Clash, before putting Shingo away with the DSD at 13:46 to claim his 4th NEVER Championship. Excellent stuff here, though seemingly Tama announced afterwards that he's finishing up with the company at the end of the month, so him winning is an... interesting decision. The double Tag Title match followed, which was a rematch of the Tag League Final between Bishamon and GoD. This was another great match, a fun sprint which saw the STRONG Champions win both sets of belts after ELP hit Goto with CRIII, and Hikuleo came off the top with a massive, but very unattractive, Big Splash to win the belts in 9:47. Just before this match, Nic Nemeth (the former Dolph Ziggler) and his brother Ryan turned up to sit at ringside. I think we all know there's some kind of angle coming here.
Speaking of career rivals, Hiromu and Despy faced off for the Jr. Heavy Title in the next bout. We've seen many versions of this match in recent history, and they're pretty much always excellent, so this fit that mould no doubt. Things started hot as Despy hit Hiromu with a Tope con Giro as he made his entrance, and they worked 100 mph from there. The challenger worked over the champions leg to set up the Numero Dos, but it wasn't to be. The finish saw Desperado escape the Hiromu Roll, then hit a Jay Driller, kept a hold and nailed Takahashi with a second Pinche Loco to win the strap at the 14:21 mark to end another great outing. We crowned an inaugural IWGP Global champion next, as Ospreay, Moxley and Finlay had a wild Triple Threat Match. This started with Mox and Ospreay agreeing to work together for the first 5 minutes in order to take out Finlay, then turn their attention on each other, before BC War Dogs Alex Coughlin and Gabe Kidd ran in. The babyfaces rallied a comeback though, which saw Ospreay put the invaders through tables with a Swanton Bomb to the outside, and Moxley took a post bump and gigged himself. Which I'm sure will shock many. The finishing stretch was insanely hot as Mox kicked at one from a Hidden Blade, but was put down with Stormbreaker, only for Finlay to hit Ospreay with his new Overkill finish, which is essentially a Brainbuster into a Go 2 Sleep, to become the inaugural Global champion in 22:17. In the post match, Finlay got into a shoving match and pull-apart with Nic Nemeth at ringside, which culminated in Nemeth chasing him to the back. So that looks to be Finlay's first title programme. Finlay going over was 100% the right call, with Ospreay leaving as a full-timer, they need to start making some top guys, and he's a good place to start.
Semi final time, and a true dream match next as Okada faced Danielson in a match I'd spent a good decade fantasy booking. After their slightly disappointing first encounter at Forbidden Door in June, due in no small part by Dragon legit breaking his arm during it, they came out with a lot to prove. And they certainly didn't disappoint this time as they had a superb wrestling encounter based around aggression and emotion. As anyone who's been watching Danielson since the ROH days can attest, when Bryan has a grudge with someone (Morishima, Nigel), he goes all out with the intensity, and it usually produces classics. The pacing, the limb-work, the storytelling, the drama... everything about this was essentially perfect. After Okada broke Danielson's arm in their previous match, Dragon obsessively set out to do the same here. And it lead to his downfall. The American Dragon was coming into this one with a fractured orbital bone, so Okada worked over that for a while too. Okada kicked out of a Busaiku Knee, Danielson locked on the same arm submission he tapped Okada out with at Forbidden Door, but The Rainmaker made the ropes. Dragon then stomped his f'n head in and locked in the LeBell Lock, only for Okada to hit a Rainmaker, but he was in too much pain from his devastated right arm, and couldn't make the cover. Danielson hit a big head kick and another Busaiku Knee, but rather than go for the cover, he elected to do the "Yes!" gimmick in the corner, and try another knee, but Okada hit an Emerald Flowsion, a Landslide, then another Rainmaker to fall on top of Dragon, and score the surprise win at the 23:24 (which it felt half of, by the way). This was a masterpiece, and I was legitimately shocked when the three count came. I could have watched this for an hour, it left me very much wanting a rubber match, and this is easily the best match of 2024 so far. They bowed to each other and shook hands in the post match.
The Keiji Muto fan club imploded in the main event as former LIJ stablemates Naito and SANADA (who was even dressed like Muto circa 1995), battled for the World Title. This was an excellent match, one that I didn't have a massive amount of interested in going into this show, but they had a really great clash. It's worth mentioning that something happened to SANADA here, I don't know if it was the biceps injury he's been dealing with since G1, or if he seperated his shoulder or something, but he was in noticeable discomfort through this, and it let to some wonky botches near the finish. They tried multiple times to do a Destino counter, but they couldn't pull it off. SANADA hit Dead Fall for the double down, then an Asai DDT, but Naito escaped a second Dead Fall attempt, and went for Valentia, but SANADA countered into an O'Connor Roll for a super close near fall. A Shining Wizard followed, but Naito turned another Dead Fall attempt into one of his own, finally hit Valentia, then finished the champion off with Destino to win his first World title at 25:42. It's worth pointing out that they clashed heads on the way down on the Destino, and Naito got busted open pretty bad over his eye. With Naito having finally won again in the main event of Tokyo Dome, he was about to Finish His Story, when EVIL and Dick Togo, of all people, ran-in in an attempt to ruin things like KENTA did in 2020. However, they hadn't bargained on SANADA, who nailed his former tag partner with a Shining Wizard, and Naito sent Dick packing with a low dropkick. SANADA then let Naito finish the story a decade in the making, and do his "De-Ja-Pon!!!" roll call to end the show and send everyone home happy. Whilst I applaud NJPW for giving SANADA a go, or just giving ANYONE NEW a shot at the top of the card (it's been very Groundhog Day for a long time up there, and this is something I've been encouraging since NAito at WK8!), I don't think it payed off liked they'd hoped. SANADA is a very good worker, and amazing athlete, but he's just missing something that would make him that major star. Which is obviously something Naito has in abundance, so I'm very pleased he got his big win here, as it was pretty much last chance saloon.
This was a tremendous card, not quite as good as last year's, I don't think, but still great, great stuff and well worth checking out. Especially the Okada/Danielson match!
