You may wonder what this whole Awesome Coffee Club thing is all about. Today I was reminded what it’s all about:
In 2019, the unpaid intern who runs this tumblr account visited Sierra Leone’s Kono District. Kono is the among the most impoverished communities in the world due to a long history of enslavement, colonialism, and civil war. A decade ago, Kono’s healthcare system was in a state of collapse--clinics had no running water or electricity or paid staff, and inconsistent supplies of medications and other necessities.
As a result, Kono was the epicenter of the global maternal mortality crisis: One out of every seventeen women could expect to die in childbirth. Over 10% of children died before the age of five.
Beginning in 2014, Partners in Health began working with Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Health to bring change. This started with the basics at the region’s hospital, Koidu Government Hospital: running water, 24-hour electricity, and hiring nurses, community healthworkers, cooks, facilities management staff, and so much more.
At the time, KGH’s maternity ward had a dirt floor. Many people were dying for want of an emergency C-section or a blood transfusion. By 2019, this was getting better--two functioning operating rooms were able to perform C-sections, and a blood bank could address postpartum hemorrhaging. But it was still inadequate, and maternal and child mortality were horrifyingly routine.
To address the crisis, PIH Sierra Leone directors Jon Lascher and Dr. Baillor Barrie wanted to build a world-class maternal and child health center that could save thousands of lives yearly while also serving as a teaching hospital to train the next generation of Sierra Leonean healthcare workers. They told us they needed $25,000,000 to break ground, and would probably eventually need another $25,000,000 to support the hospital’s operation over its first few years.
I am, as unpaid interns go, doing quite well, but not THAT well. So our family committed what we could and asked others to join us, and within two years, we passed that $25,000,000 goal. Together, we’ve now raised close to $40,000,000.
Today, I visited the site of the Maternal Center of Excellence, the first wards of which will hopefully open next year. Nearly all of the construction team are from Kono, and 65% of them are women--they work as welders, engineers, planners, laborers, and so much more. You see three of them above. I had the privilege of talking with them about this project. The young woman to the right, Success, told me that her dream is to work for the hospital her whole life, helping to maintain and support it. One of the other women told me, “We are passionate about this work because it is the future of our country. And we know that we and our friends will someday give birth here.” I am so proud that our projects support their training and livelihood, and so grateful to have them as colleagues in this work.
The hospital--which will include over 100 maternal beds, a NICU, and enough operating suites to perform over 10 emergency C-sections per day, will also require ongoing funding for staff, stuff, systems, maintenance, and more. Our hope is that open-ended projects like the Awesome Coffee Club and Awesome Socks Club can help provide that funding, although the most efficient way to support this project is to donate directly!
So that’s why this tumblr, and the awesome coffee club, exists. World-class maternal and infant healthcare is coming to Kono, a wonderful and  too long impoverished by colonialism and extractive capitalism. It is only a first step. There is so long to go. But what a first step.

A Diamond in the Rough
Tumblr media
Summary: The surviving recruits move on to graduation. While the other grads get to see their families for the first time in months, y/n stands alone.
a/n: *shrugs*
c/w: little to no proofreading
w/c: 5k
***
“What about him?” Laswell points to the photo of a blond young man. His face is stern, his buzzcut making him appear juvenile as his dark uniform contrasts with the blue, white, and red of the UK flag draped behind him.
Cpt. Price hums softly, examining the photo.
“He’s got grit. Talks too much for his own good.”
“Oh?” Laswell looks at the captain, waiting for him to clarify.
“Almost failed the interrogation. Can’t have that liability on the force, can we?”
“Absolutely not.” She nods in agreement.
Price crosses his arms, looking over Laswell’s shoulder as her fingers ghost over the various photos. All young and determined faces. When the occasion that he could look for new members came around he’d sometimes wonder what was said of him when his photo sat on the desks of the men who had forged him into the SAS. The young man he was before a new reality aged him, adding a new wrinkle with every deployment and mission. He’d had a fire burning inside him. It still burned even now, maybe brighter or hotter, but wielded skillfully with experience.
“I don’t believe I’ve seen her before.” Laswell pulls him from his thoughts to a photo of a young woman, her hair pulled into a tight, neat bun, her lips pulled into almost a straight line and her eyes appearing dazed as if she wasn’t fully present. Laswell’s eyebrows furrow as she looks at her companion.
“Ah, Y/N Y/L/N. The little shadow.” He laughs silently. “Didn’t like attention very much.”
“No one should like attention from the instructors,” Laswell states matter-of-factly.
“She’s smart, quick, passed physically and mentally.”
“Interrogation?”
“Passed.”
“So what’s her catch?” She stands up straight, now crossing her arms.
“Didn’t build rapport with other recruits. In a team, she disappears.”
“And alone?”
“Brilliant.”
“I think with a good mentor she could learn to play well with others, don’t you think?”
She slides the photo to the side, looking back with a raised eyebrow.
“I’m inclined to agree, but it won’t be easy. Can’t break something already broken down.”
“But you can teach.”
***
“... So once again, congratulations to all of you young men and women who stand before me today. Your strength and resilience sought you through til the end. You are the future and now protectors. Protectors of freedom and countless lives who, even unknowingly, look to you for your sacrifice and strength.” An applause erupts from the crowd watching over the dozen or so graduates standing stiff at attention.
“I hope you all celebrate with your families, who have waited eagerly these difficult six months to see what has become of their sons and daughters. Families may now approach their graduates.”
The open space was filled with footsteps, murmurs, and cries of happiness. Each graduate reuniting with their loved ones. Everyone had now begun scrambling off to celebrate.
Y/N now stood alone, still facing the podium. Quiet whispers came from the few that were still on the outskirts of the tarmac about the last standing graduate. “You can’t tap her out. It has to be family.” She hears a boy scold his parents.
The clouds that lingered overhead now turned a dark grey and a mist began to fall. At this point, if she walked off, no one would have tried to stop her in the name of tradition. Any passerby would feel too much pity to do so. But she continued to stand. Feeling the raindrops run down her face, masking her silent tears dropping just the same.
A figure appeared in her peripheral vision. His eyes continue facing forward, the point of focus lost in a blur. She made out an umbrella and camo fatigues. He continued on his path to her, stopping only a few feet away.
She’d seen the man before. He’d attended the training, watching over as the recruits were battered, covered in dirt, or even bloody. He was the bearded man, always donning a boonie hat, who she’d once caught looking at her as she clutched her bleeding nose after being placed against a recruit twice her size in what was supposed to be a friendly sparing match.
He plucked his cigar from his lips as he eyed her in such a pathetic state, still standing proudly, on the outside, at least.
“Y/L/N, your family couldn’t make it?” His low growly voice nearly gets drowned out as the rain falls harder.
“Don’t have one, sir.” Her voice almost croaks.
“S’that right?” He murmurs to himself, bringing his cigar to his lips. He glances away for a moment as he blows the smoke out of his lungs.
“Corporal, I’m Captain Price. I’ve been watching you for the last six months. Before you submitted your application, you earned a medal for identifying what could’ve been a crippling data leak. Which, inadvertently, protected me and my team.” He points at her with his now stubby cigar, “You’ve got potential. And I'm willing to bet on it. Join my task force.” His words came out more like an order rather than a proposal.
“Or what?”
“Or stand out here in the rain… You’ll have a family of your own in us. Your choice.”
Her eyes scan his face suspiciously. He senses her reluctance and his head tilts, a soft smile pulls at the corner of his lips.
“Alright, I’ll join you.”
His smile grows and his bushy mustache hides his upper lip. He steps closer, the umbrella now shielding you from the freezing rain.
“I hope you’re ready to do some real work.”

The beach scene:
The blonde-haired mutant sighs while she stands a couple of meters behind the Queen of Wakanda. Whose eyes are anxiously roaming the shore and the blue ocean, the grip on the beautiful large shell only tightens with each passing minute. "I don't think that he will show up.", she declares and runs a hand through her hair before holding it up to block the sun from shining into her face, but Ramonda only shakes her head. "I think you are wrong. He is most likely already here, somewhere, silently watching us."
Y/c/n didn't answer, instead, she feels how a shiver runs down her spine and when she quickly turns her head to the left her eyes widen:" Your majesty.", she speaks, without tearing her gaze off the man who makes his way out of the water. His eyes are dark and filled with ambition, but they soften immediately when they land on the mutant's form. An indistinct expression forms on his face, one she hasn't seen in a very long time.
"My daughter!", Romonda states, making Namor snap out of his thoughts:" I want to know if she is alive." The God only chuckles slightly, before he nods his head:" The princess is alive and well." As soon as he speaks those words the older woman lets out a trembling but relieved breath.
"My daughter!", Romonda states, making Namor snap out of his thoughts:" I want to know if she is alive." The God only chuckles slightly, before he nods his head:" The princess is alive and well." As soon as he speaks those words the older woman lets out a trembling but relieved breath.
"My daughter!", Romonda states, making Namor snap out of his thoughts:" I want to know if she is alive." The God only chuckles slightly, before he nods his head:" The princess is alive and well." As soon as he speaks those words the older woman lets out a trembling but relieved breath.
"You are as beautiful as the day you left. What are you doing here, in yakunaj. (my love) ", Namors voice is silky when he once again looks at y/c/n:" This isn't your fight." "Of course, it is!", she replies and takes a step forward:" I have been living in Wakanda for the past four years, ever since-." She pauses and anger flashes up in her eyes. "Ever since you left me."
For a moment y/c/n only stares at him, before her jaw clenches:" You were the one to end things, Namor. Don't do this to me." The rage in her eyes is prominent, and when her former lover takes a step toward her she wants to move away. "Yeah, but I never forgot about you. Ever.", Namor says, and takes another step forwards, until the space between them is so small that they can easily hear each other's heartbeats. But there is only one. He continues:" And I fear that letting you go is my life's biggest regret." His hand reaches for her chin to make her meet his gaze. "Let Shuri and the scientist go. Take me instead."
At her words, he lets go of her and lowers his head, before he turns to stare at the blue sea. "You used to tell me that you love Talocan. That there was no other place you wanted to call home… You claimed that you loved my people. That’s why I wanted to make you their queen, in reina (my queen) ." He pauses, and when he looks at the mutant tears are running down his cheeks:" When you left me, I looked for your love in the darkest and deepest places of the seven seas. But nothing I found could ever compare. But maybe I was wrong about you." He wipes his face with the back of his hand and walks up to Ramonda. …

so winter can find his way home
Tumblr media
pairing - curtis everett x woc!reader
w/c - 1k
summary - curtis finds his way back to you
warnings - 18+, reference to past trauma, mental health, mentions of physical violence, smut, fluff, hurt/comfort
a/n - wow this is my first little curtis fic that isn’t just porn. this takes place at the end of snowpiercer, after the train crashed. now, I am a huge slut for the grumpy guy & sunshine girl trope, so this sort of embodies that. also, this is a standalone fic, but I’m thinking about expanding these two into their own little universe with other little drabbles. I hope you enjoy hehe :)
also, a huge huge huge shout out to @jtargaryen18 Out of Darkness and @sweater-daddiesdumbdork Life is Short so Make it Sweet & Life After Snowpiercer & Wilford’s Demands, who are responsible for my obsession with this man LOL (everyone go check out their masterlist RIGHT. NOW.)
::edit:: I started this like a year ago LMAO
Italics reference the past
Please leave comment/reblog to let me know what you think!
-----
Curtis was like this sometimes, cold and abashed. Disconnected. Like a stray animal newly taken away from it’s home. You knew not to pry, pushing him to open up will only cause him to shelter into himself to avoid engulfing you into his gloomy aura.
It was hard for Curtis to pull himself out of the dark memories that routinely plagued his brain. Reasonably so, the memories of the tail-end and crash of the train bonding his despair deep into his bones. It was all his fault, wasn’t it?
He was the reason Edgar was dead.
He was the reason the engine stopped.
He was the reason his people are trying to survive in the remains of the train.
“No”, you told him gently as you slowly cradled his face. Even after years together he still tried to hide his feelings from you. He was the reason the tail-end was now free. He was the reason Wilford was dead. And he was the reason they had a chance at life again.
While only a few years older than you, you and Curtis met after you boarded the train. The initial chaos of the first few months on the train had left all many passengers in a state of frenzy and distrust.
But you were something different weren’t you? Lending a helping hand where you could, and spending your days trying to keep the children occupied. In the beginning, you were truly just a child yourself, so how wise could one be at age of 15 anyway, you remarked. No, maybe you weren’t wise, Curtis thought. You are compassionate and determined, and you were his light.
Curtis watched you as you tried the gather the children together to get into line. Sending each of them a gentle smile as you managed to bring them together. Your heart went out for them. Curtis saw it in your eyes. The love you had for these children, and your underlying fear for their future
Yes, Curtis saw you. He had seen you before, helping out with the children as much as you could. Now he was really taking a look at you. Dark hair, the caramel-beige colour of your skin, and the radiant smile you would occasionally send his way when you caught him starring. The layers of your thick clothes hide your curves underneath. The same curves Curtis would eventually find himself caressing every night as you soundly slept against him in his tiny cot.
He could hear Gilliam’s voice at the back of his mind. “Curtis, my boy. She would be good for you. We all deserve our little pieces of wonder even after all of this. Why don’t you just try?”.
“You know why I can’t.” Curtis stoically whispers back.
Yes. It is better to hold a woman with both hands
He knew he didn’t deserve you, not after what he did. So he kept his distance. Separating himself for the four corners of the cold locomotive was easy enough. Their routine was never set in stone. Try to sleep, as the everlasting rumble of the train tracks keep their conscious wide awake through the night.
You were such a light in their ever-evolving darkness, how would he ever make you happy?
But love isn’t earned. Worthy is not something you have to be to deserve devotion from another. Curtis was learning this the hard way.
What wasn’t hard? Loving you. It was so easy for him, it was so unlike their constant and familiar struggle it even made Curtis a little uncomfortable. You were well aware of his past, hell you were there living it with him. Yet, you always had the same gleam of hope and curiosity in your eyes when your gaze fell on him.
While you were all surrounded by the trauma that came with living in the tail-end, it seemed so archaic for Curtis to have his dark days slow him down. After all, you had all suffered. He had to lead his people now. A few days after the crash, most of the residents of the tail end dispersed themselves through various rooms that were previously occupied by the front-end passengers. Luckily, one of the remaining passengers of the front-end had enough mechanical experience to fix the damaged back up generators that ran underneath the foundation of the train. Each section was equipped with enough energy to keep the water melting/recycling system and electricity running for the next year. After the explosion, a portion of the healthy men sought after whatever hints of life they would find outside the four walls of the train. To their surprise, the people were able to fall within a routine fairly quick.
Even then, there is still work to be done, he would tell himself.
---
Your kisses. Your kisses gave him energy, he tells you.
You found him sitting on the thick cushion of the chair sitting in the corner of your dimly lit bedroom. Closing his eyes as you gently climb into his lap, he felt your fingers run up and down his arms before stopping to rest on his chest. You knew what he needed, Curtis retreated into himself enough times for you to help him pull himself out.
He frowned as you climbed into his lap. Distancing himself from you to avoid pulling you into his darkness. Your fingers remained on his skin. Feeling the way his energy wants to be fed, wanting to find a friend.
His body felt tense under the first press of your lips against his, posture rigid as an attempt to keep up his guard. His reluctant spirit slowly wafted away as you submerge yourself deeper into his greed.
You made it hard for him to know anything else but you in moments like his. Your sounds, gasps, and hues. Just you.
The press of his sweat-soaked skin against yours, gently rutting up into you as his heavy grunts fell out of his mouth into yours.
“Open your eyes” You mumble against his lips. He cries out and does as you said. Pushing deeper, your hips snap against his.
He’s disoriented. Savouring the feelings of his warmth blossoming into your core, you stayed for a moment, chest-to-chest, breathing in each others air as you calmed down from your high. Slowly, he brought his unfocused vision up to you. His breath hitching when he finds a mirrored devotion in the decadent brown swirls of your eyes. I’m here with you, they seemed to say.
Winter had found his way home.

I’ve always wonder on how the valorant agents react to their s/o losing control of their powers
prepare for angst because oh boy do i have thoughts
Brimstone
Brim reacts like a man who had lost someone would; utterly terrified. He would go through all the lengths he could in order to help them recover as well as prevent this from happening in the future. If there was no guarantee this wouldn't happen again and not be worse then he would push his partner to not use their powers, even forcing them out of the field if he had to.
Viper
She's a woman who hides her concern behind masks of anger and bitterness but when her S/O loses control that all falls away. She's frantic but aggressive, yelling at everyone to figure out what happened and why as well as if they are okay. May lock her S/O away for a bit until things are sorted for their own safety as well as others, she doesn't need another travesty or to lose her life again.
Cypher
He is entirely terrified but would take his partner out with a trip wire, dialing them up to eleven to give such a shock they are knocked unconscious. No one is allowed to touch his S/O until Sage has seen them, him watching them like a hawk. Depending on how severe everything was he may distance himself from his partner or practically force them out of the field as well as keep them from fully exerting their powers.
Breach
Without a thought Breach would make sure the team knows what is happening before he acts. He would work to contain the outburst to his best ability, even injuring his partner if it would mean stopping it or to keep them from hurting themselves. Would put his life on the line if it meant saving his S/O from their outburst. After words would work with his partner to help develop a plan of what to do if that happens again as well as apologizing for having to step in that way.
Killjoy
In the moment she is over whelmed but taking in all the information she can. She's the one telling Neon to zap you unconscious or yelling for Breach to concuss you to disrupt it. Is proactive with preventing future occurrences but is also understandably much more cautious around you. Would spend many sleepless nights creating her partner limiters to help control their power.
Reyna
She supports you pushing yourself but when things go wrong she acts quickly and disables you as best she can. She doesn't hold the outburst against you, defending you from any backlash and expressing it was a learning experience. Talks it through with you to help you identify if there was a distinct cause or limit so you can know your powers better, absolutely fights off anyone trying to impose artificial limiters on you or who try to stop you from using your gift.
Neon
Its happened to her so she knows how scared you are. Uses her electricity or frantically calls for one of the less lethal agents to help get you into a state you can't possibly use your powers. Cares for you after, never leaving your side and tending to any wounds you have. Shares her own experiences and constantly tells you that it wasn't your fault.
Raze
She doesn't know what to do when everything starts getting crazy, calling over comms that things went wrong and she needs help containing you. Feels guilty that she didn't know how to help but tries to make it up to you by helping you blow off steam. Stresses to everyone it wasn't your fault and that you didn't mean for that to happen, it was an accident that they should all move past
Phoenix
Similar to Raze but he is entirely consumed by fear before and after. He's worried sick about his S/O and is so stubborn the others have trouble keeping him away from them. Probably would have gotten himself hurt trying to calm them down or help but doesn't even realize it. Tears into anyone trying to shame them or make their partner seem like the villain or a danger to others. Honestly has a hard time believing his partner would ever hurt anyone on purpose and gets very upset when someone implies that
Yoru
Would, against his better judgement, pull his partner into the rift with him to contain it and make sure ONLY he was at risk. While it wouldn't be the best idea it would prove effective in at least keeping everyone safe until it was over or his partner fainted. If he got hurt he would shrug it off and refuse treatment unless it was really bad, turning all the attention to his partner. Wouldn't mention the event later unless they did, actually providing a shoulder to cry on and pushing them to stay with him for a while until they are mentally okay.
Skye
Does what ever is in her power to stop it even if it means throwing herself at them. Uses all of her animals to keep the area locked down as well as keep her partner mostly cornered, trusting the others to help get them to a state where they aren't capable any more. Console her partner after and becomes protective of them, even defending them to Brim if she has to. Would ask her partner to take some time off for their health, both mental and physical.
Kay/o
Our beloved bot has flashbacks to the war and without hesitation uses his skillset to subdue them albeit with a bit of dread. Has a hard time with the conflict between his duty to subdue radiants and his loyalty to his partner. Isn't afraid of it happening again as he knows he can handle it despite it maybe stinging a bit.
Astra
Concusses her partner then works on bringing them back to their sense. Would take them on a calm trip or a meditation break to help ground them as well as address what went wrong. She handles everything logically, reasonably, and doesn't freak out at all.
Fade
Understands that her partner must be subdued or taken out, which ever is the quickest way to an end. With deep regret turns her nightmares on them in an attempt to make them faint or fall into a dreamless rest. Later would be talking through it with her partner to make sure their fears didn't fester and become problems
Sova
The moment the mission was placed at stake he would take it upon himself to stop his partner, even killing them if it was needed. He would rush them to Sage after, having her heal or revive them as needed then would almost demand they take time out of the field if not leave entirely. He wont admit it but the event scared him and he doesn't want you putting yourself or others at risk needlessly. Sova would even sacrifice his relationship if it meant his partner didn't have to push their powers that far again.
Sage
Would push her, as well as everyone elses, powers to their limit to avoid having to temporarily kill her partner to stop it. If it can be contained without bloodshed she would be much more happy than the alternative but knows that she may have to make the decision to end their life if only for a moment. Cares for her partner to help them recover while pulling all the strings she could to get them any help or devices to prevent a future occurrence, probably even pushing for them to take a break to train more.
Omen
Omen is almost cold with his partner when their powers go haywire. He can't do much with his own powers to help besides keep an eye on them or blind them. He would be one of the ones to tell his team to go ahead and pull the trigger if needed but ONLY if it was needed, preferring his partner is injured over dead. May be a bit harsh after words and directly tell his partner they don't belong on the front lines if the can't control themselves. Would be open to training more with them or pushing them to train themselves to help contain everything
Jett
Alerts everyone before engaging herself and going the route of least harm to stop her partner. Immediately vetos any decision that could risk their life or cause them anything more than a minor injury. Once everything is said and done she would take blame for any excess damage done due to her stopping any more brutal methods that may have proved quicker in ending her partners rampage. Advocates for them and constantly insists they aren't any more of a danger than any of the others, getting hostile if she has to.
Chamber
Chamber hangs onto love dearly and hates having to do it but would not hesitate to pull the trigger on his partner. He makes it as painless as he can, even wasting a sniper shot to ensure they don't have to suffer. He would take the time to notify the team and assess the situation before deciding it was best to take their life, trying to find a quick alternative if at all possible. Stands aside as Sage preforms her work and fully owns up to being the one that put an end to the outburst, telling his partner while he didn't wish to he had to and views it as the best decision one could have made in the moment. Would very gradually shove his partner out of the field or out of situations that use their powers, even providing them incentives not to. He becomes a very silent form of over protectiveness that may push them away from him in the end.

Unique Destinations Enterprise has a website update! 7/31/2023
UniqueDestinations.org has posted an open letter to both chambers of the United States Congress. The Letter may be found on the Director's Den page, found off the About Us page. We are reposting the Letter below, for transparency.
To: the Honorable members of the United States Senate, and House of Representatives, with special acknowledgements to Senators: Schumer; Gillibrand; and Kelly. And special acknowledgement to Representatives: Jeffries; Raskin; Garcia; Porter; Ocasio-Cortez; Goldman; Schiff; and Swalwell.
(I forgot about the ‘summer break’,… this small business owner has not had a day off in 942 days, so vacations kind of slip my mind.)
What would I have Congress be aware about?
This letter/petition/address is about as unusual, as unusual gets.
Please,… indulge me – and read the following words. I am an American citizen. I am a U.S. Marine veteran. I have connections to 14 post-secondary institutions – (so far.) I am a past collegiate valedictorian, and an ‘Employee of the Year’,  but that is not to say that I am not without faults, and failings. – I failed out of my first college. I've spent a long time, learning – hard (and expensive) lessons. I am the small business owner of: A Urumalli, U Macinasar, G Entum – Unique Destinations Enterprise EIN: XX-XXX3096 an online company that has been available for the world to view, without any financial burden being incurred by the public, since December 31. 2020.
56 months ago, while virtually exploring this beautiful planet, as I was taking ‘snapshots’ of many interesting places – for possible future scrutiny and potential rock-hounding/exploring – I captured an image – I hadn’t counted on observing.
At first,… I had been intrigued – by a possible 15 C. ship wreck,… – and I had been moved to reach out to communicate with a local university, regarding a possible expedition. It was only after several days, that I came to notice, the object – that has come to occupy – all – of my mind.
It took me two years of deepest (and solitary) – contemplation, (and working with three web developers), before I was able to turn my website 'on'.
The funding for the website had originally come from my mother’s ‘pin’ money, as she did not want me to part with my most valuable rock specimens on eBay. And,… the last monies I had needed for the website – she had given me on January 18th, 2020 – two hours before she fell – and broke her femur – and began a three-month horror of agonizing pain, in three nursing homes, before succumbing at home, as I watched her – helpless – knowing she passed needlessly – for a simple – lack – of water.
She was a WONDERFUL woman. A wife, mother, nurse, artist, gardener, and my sounding board. She was a ‘Super Woman’.
My mother had believed in me – and I had dreamed such dreams -for – my folks.  I had been envisioning, a happy old life for them, (what with my ‘amazing‘ news, helping make affordable – a wonderful enriched sunset) to pass their days!
Now,… my dad carries on – like a battleship,… tough and durable – yet slow to move. I have taken over his care – from my mother – and – besides making sure that he is fed, clothed, kept clean and comfy,… I am left – (self)tasked – with trying to bring ‘change’ to the world.
I formed a company around an idea – intellectual conceptualization – aka intellectual property. The ‘idea’ that I could inform the planet, of – something – truly ‘remarkable’, and – that, in the doing,… I might be ‘elevated’ financially – into the class of deep-pocket philanthropists.
This has been my dream – It is in my company’s name. A Urumalli, U Macinasar, G Entum – Unique Destinations Enterprise – Aurum Allium Acinas Argentum / Golden Onion Seed Money.
It was my ‘projection‘ that with my company’s financially ‘successful’ roll-out,… I would have other interesting places to offer for exploration,  but now – will also – have the wherewithal – to assist others – with their – dreams.
I was contemplating have the funds to help provide for a Nursing scholarship/ school/ hospital wing/ (something – to honor my mom.) I foresaw helping with business start-ups, education assistance,  homeless assistance programming, and those with birth defects and physical handicaps.
I have entertained such extravagant dreams, and spent long hours – ‘imagining’ without restrictions – wondering what could ‘be’ – if money – was not an object,  (as a lottery winner, might dream upon.)
This dreaming has not been empty. I have been able to dream to the maximum, aided by the ‘mojo‘ contained in my IP data.
The challenge I face now – is moving beyond just words and images on a page, and moving into –  purposeful, productive, progressive action,  – and – financial evolution.
My company emphasized only being able to point to where to look. What actually is – ‘there’ –  at the coordinates – has yet to be determined.
This information, has lived in my skull for 56 months. At present, my company has only incurred expenses. It had been known to me that I currently reside on the far-left side, of the ‘economic’ bell curve, and the ‘potentiality’ of my intellectual property,… would have me relocated on – the opposite ‘shore’. (I foresee no ‘in-between’.)
I have long felt like I am living in a fairy tale – on the order of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. I believe I have a golden goose – a gift – that keeps on giving,… and,… I am left,… finding a way,… to get – to the market.
Let me reiterate, my company and I know nothing  of what was testified to at the House Oversight Committee meeting on UAP, that was held on 7/26/2023.
I know nothing about what is being reported – being seen moving around in the sky, these days – the ‘tic-tacs’, cubes, or fuzzy balls.
What my company CAN PROVIDE UNDERSTANDING UPON, regards – something – that looks to have happened  – AGES – ago.
This is the intellectual property, that has shaped my Unique Destinations Enterprise.
I offered the ‘directions – to a dream’, and the ‘coordinates – of copious cogitation‘.
I offered the GPS coordinates that could give a well-heeled adventurer – an ‘experience of a lifetime!‘
My Presentation was not without hiccups, but We sought, (and have made), improvements, over the time –  striving to permit clearest comprehension – in 104 languages – the words, that have been written – and the imagery, I have been able to post.
My 1st GPS Sale attempt, lasted 775 days, closing on Valentine’s Day, 2023 – (with me retaining the IP data.)
While trying to ‘sort-out’ my ‘next’ step,… I have had to compose two open letters to NASA, create social media posts, mow the lawn, weed the garden, and to get a small merchandise item available for offer to the public – (potentially permitting me the first income from my 56 months of laboring!)
As I had stated before, I cannot talk of things – floating around – today.
I can only provide insight – into something that (maybe) happened – Yesterday – – something – of interest – to everyone – ‘ancient‘ – as History – (maybe).
The information that I can impart – is something – for all people, not only to those living in America.
This was my construct – to SHARE new information with everyone, – to permit humanity, a ‘chance’, to move into ‘tomorrow’ – (in a forward, up-lifted fashion.)
I have recently communicated a letter to NASA regarding their AARO UAP Inquiry Development Framework meeting that was presented on 5/31/2023. This letter, was actually the ‘second’ note created, to discuss that meeting. I have posted this ‘open letter’  – on tumblr, and on Our website on the Director’s Den page, found on the About Us page.
I am well aware of the phrase – ‘not wanting to sound the fool‘. – I have little tolerance for ‘BS’. My experience with asthma has left me with zero tolerance for folk who would purposely spew false or inflammatory nonsense. I would rather spend my precious breath trying to speak as clearly and truly, as possible – than to be thought of – as one who spouts – ‘gibberish’.
Unique Destinations Enterprise and UniqueDestinations.org can put the eye upon something very interesting – I (believe) some ‘things’ that can point US – (all humanity) to a place of new understandings, growth and development, or,… it will point – to one of the biggest fools – to ever ‘self-disclose’. Sincerely, The CEO/COB of Unique Destinations Enterprise and UniqueDestinations.org
@arimelber @neildegrassetysonofficial Gentlemen, I am including you for continuity, (and because you might be able to point some important eyes, to Our website!) - (Thank you in advance!)

DEADLY WOMEN DAILY: JOLLY JANE
Meet Jolly Jane. This woman has a story that kind of makes you scratch your head and wonder, why did she do what she did? Was she just a scorned woman who wanted to take her anger and frustration out on any man that she could? Or was she always just a deadly woman, who didn’t ever really need a reason to kill? Let's begin with her story.
Jane was born in 1854 and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Her original name was actually Honora Kelly, the daughter of a lower middle class couple. Jane’s childhood was much less than satisfactory. Her mother died of tuberculosis when she was still an infant, leaving her and her three older siblings to be raised by their father, who turned into an alcoholic after the loss of his wife, and unfortunately he grew to be quite insane. Let me paint a picture for you of how mentally unstable this man truly was… Imagine coming home and seeing your parents sitting on the ground with a needle and thread, trying to sew their own eye-lids shut. Yeah.. Traumatizing. His insanity, along with the alcoholism made him very abusive towards his children, and as you could imagine, left them in a very toxic household. But he apparently had enough sanity to know that he wasn’t giving his children a good life, and took his two youngest children, Jane and Delia, to the Boston Female Asylum. However, another story states that the authorities actually rescued them from their abusive father. I suppose the two older children were old enough to make their own decisions to stay or not, and I’m not sure why exactly they’d choose to stay behind in a home like that. Anyway, it’s reported that Delia ended up becoming a prostitute, but Jane found work and a local house as a house maid when she was nearly ten years old. The owner of the house, Ann C. Toppan never officially adopted Jane, but still raised her as if she were her own daughter. Jane spent so much time with this family, that she decided to take their last name, Toppan. She even started having a close relationship with their daughter Elizabeth, as they were both close in age and went to school together. She even ended up meeting a boy in her senior year of high school, and they fell in love.
You must be thinking, “wow, Jane’s in a new home with a kind and loving family, she’s going to school, she’s making friends, she has a job, she’s in a relationship, things are going really well for her!” WRONG. Her youth of happiness only lasted a short while. It all started on her wedding day, when her fiance broke off the engagement and left her at the altar. Obviously Jane felt devastated by this. The man she loved and envisioned her life with just left her, and in the most embarrassing way possible. Following this was a string of multiple failed relationships, leaving Jane to feel like she was truly incapable of being loved or wanted by any man. This explains the decisions she makes in the future.
Jane began training as a nurse in the Cambridge Hospital in 1885. She had a very bubbly and caring personality, so she was given the nickname Jolly Jane by her patients and co-workers. But she had a dark secret inside her that no one knew about, or could even understand. She started to use her most vulnerable patients for experiments. She gave these men high doses of morphine, and when they lost consciousness, she laid next to them in their bed. There’s no reports that stated whether or not she had sexual relations with them in that state, but she did admit that she got a sexual arrousal from laying next to slowly dying men, and she admitted to fodling them as they slowly died. She also apparently wanted to see their souls through their eyes, whatever that means. Anyway, time goes on, and Jane seems to spend much more time with her patients than any other nurse does, (for reasons we now know), people just thought that she was just really good at her job. That and including her pleasant personality, she was transferred to the Massachusetts Hospital in 1889. Due to the size of the hospital, and how many other people worked there compared to the last one she worked at, Jane couldn’t keep her strange behaviors a secret for too long. She was fired from there within a year, and afterwards tried going back to her old job at Cambridge Hospital, and she did for a short period of time. What she wasn’t aware of though, is that the Massachusetts hospital gave them a report of what she was up to while working for them, so they kept an extra close on her when they re-employed her. Of course, she was caught red-handed overdosing a patient and was fired again. After that,
Jane was getting tired of being fired and having to be extra sneaky all the time, and wanted to change up her career a little bit to something a little more secretive… She became a private nurse. Yep. She now gets to take care of patients in their own homes, with no one watching her. She actually flourished with her new career as a private nurse. However, over some time, her instincts became more horrific. She killed her first two victims in 1985, while working for her landlord Israel Dunham and his wife. According to Jane, they were giving her a lot of trouble, so instead of quitting and finding a new household to work for, she decided to poison them both. I mean, makes sense right? Yeah.. Not really.
Jane took a two year break between her second and third murder, but her third victim was extremely shocking. Jane decided to kill her former foster sister Elizabeth! She was sick at the time and Jane opted to care for her sick sister. But.. Did she really wanna care for her because she loved her and wanted her to get better? Of course not! Jane was jealous of Elizabeth. Elizabeth was beautiful, had a wonderful life, but most importantly, she was married. When Jane laid her eyes on this man, she was instantly smitten. She somehow became in love with this man, and she wanted him all to herself. So naturally, she had to get rid of Elizabeth… and she did. After the death of Elizabeth, Jane tried to seduce her husband, and it failed miserably. Even if he was attracted to Jane, what person would want to immediately get in between the sheets with someone else right after the death of their partner? Especially their partner's sibling? Yikes! This further proves that sexual frustration played a major part in the decline of her mental health. She killed another one of her elderly patients, Mary Mcnear, in 1899 by poisoning her, which lead to the ongoing trail of murders. She was able to take 30 lives by the 1990, without anyone tracing these murders back to her. This lady was good at covering her tracks.
That was until 1901, where her final kill would be her downfall. She decided to poison another elderly couple, Mattie and Alden Davis, and their daughter Minnie. But their family was not going to just let this suspicious event slide. Sure, maybe she could’ve gotten away with killing the elderly couple, as they were indeed old and sick, but their daughter as well? No, that’s some fishy business. The family demanded a full toxicology report for Minnie, and they found poison in her system.
Jane was instantly arrested on October 29th, 1901. In 1902 Jane finally confessed to have killed 31 people, but authorities believe there were probably many more than that. She also stated something that shocked the nation, “I wanted to kill more people, helpless people, than any other man or woman who ever lived.” I guess 31 deaths just wasn’t good enough for her. During the trial, Jane told the court that she was not insane, but later asked her lawyer to try and convince the jury that she was actually insane. Even though she claimed to be sane earlier in the trial, she was somehow still declared insane and was sentenced to spend the rest of her life in Taunton Insane Hospital. She died on October 29th, 1938 at the age of 84.

Wrote this last year: Her heart was young, her mind however was very old. Ancient. For many years. Nearly four decades to be exact; she had acted as a standing overseer-a mother figure to her own heart.
She might be 36 in natural years; but one look into her eyes and you will know that she has lived more and experienced much in that time. She is young, but she is also very wise beyond her years.
She has prayed for countless youth. The young people she has prayed for-the Lives that Jesus spoke through her. She saw many young people transformed in the loving presence of King Lord Jesus. She has seen Jesus work the impossible in many. She has led many teams. She has been a spiritual mother to many; and she’s also a spiritual grandmother 👵🏼, too.
Yup, the woman-I speak of, is none other than, I.
Looking back, the incredible journey Jesus has taken me on has been exhilarating, exciting, thrilling, and at other times gripping the seat and white knuckling it through the amazing adventures and harrowing rollercoaster 🎢 rides.
I’ve stated this many, many times. That it is surely by Jesus wonderful and loving, saving grace alone..that I am alive.
Jesus is the reason I’m here.
He has seen me through all my laughter and all of my tears.
Every day, Jesus has something brand new.
Most
Don’t know this,
But, I prayed for my future husband-on my knees in prayer for that whole year in 2012, daily. Jesus had me journal and pray. Long before..I even knew my husband’s face, I asked Jesus to speak to me about my husband’s heart. Jesus would speak, I’d write✍🏼 and I’d cry 😭. And, I’d pray 🤲. Jesus spoke to me about Michael Wolf 🐺 heart 💜. He told me that he loved Jesus with all his heart. He told me that he was a psalmist. I knew deep down he’d be a worshiper who loved Jesus deeply. Jesus saw the love story for Michael and I, long in advance before I even knew that Jesus had a plan. Jesus knew.
I don’t even know why I’m fully awake writing ✍🏼 this right now. All I know, is this; I can’t sleep at the moment: and even writing ✍🏼 this. I feel led to pray 🙏🏼 in the spirit.
Jesus is at work.
Much will
Soon take place
There are two sides. At w a r with one another. Eternity will soon be in sight
Much is coming.
The darkness will
Never win.
All things Jesus is bringing restoration in sight.
Light is coming.
The light has already surely won 🏆
It’s time for the people of Jesus to pray as in such a way-that they’ve never even prayed before. Much is shifting. Much is shaking.
There is so much that is very soon on the way.
You’ve seen absolutely nothing yet.
For what’s coming.
Is very mighty
The glory of
Jesus is weighty.
It’s a heavy newer realms of glory
Don’t mock
What you don’t know.
Jesus has a plan. He has always had a plan.
Much is coming.
There’s the day.
And very soon-it’ll be night.
Aslan is coming back soon on the s c e n e.
All eyes shall very soon see the King of all kings and the Lord of lords.
Jesus is not yet done with the pretty kingdom of the lands of the shining sea 🌊 to sea. The USA 🇺🇸-you surely do see.
Pray now. And pray hard.
Thanks for reading. Don’t stop 🛑 praying 🙏🏼

Saturday and I’m walking through Bloomsbury, scratching at the hair growing back from getting waxed, checking nobody has this in their sight line, and bewitched for the millionth time by my own city. There are streets I still haven’t walked down before, dozens of buildings new to me but old to the eyes of time. Thank god, in a way, for the strict rules dictating what one can do to an old structure in London. When the rules are imposed on the interior of your home, it’s a nightmare. But in return you get to walk from postcode to postcode knowing it hasn’t really changed since the 1800s. Perhaps a woman back then took the same route on the way to get hammered by a mechanical dildo to relieve her hysteria. Subtract the promises that an establishment takes Apple Pay and the strip lighting, and you really never know. I have been at home all day by the time I take this walk at night, watching heinous videos about Hamas and migrant detention centres on the US border and addiction to “tranq” and developing a headache. C is running late to visit, citing a “bike oil / white fleece jacket emergency”. In the end I pick him up from Hackney Road, and we drive to the petrol station and he teaches me, as promised, how to put air in my car tires. I film every step of the process closely so I don’t forget a detail, and wonder whether it looks to a passerby like we are content creators for a niche car-based TikTok account. Little do they know I’m just a nervous young lady tormented by car ownership. V will later proclaim that C is my dad. “He teaches you everything a dad should, and he wants to fuck your mother”, she explains
C and I sit at my dining table and smoke as it gets dark, I open my blinds to let in the remainder of the daylight, we see a parakeet in a tree, several people walk past and peer in. They are watching us watch a video that british chef Jamie Oliver made in his early years, where he cooks along to a song he recorded instructing the listened on making lamb curry. The best and worst pet is that he sings in a Jamaican accent. I always forget how on-display you are on my terrace, either to ambitious future homeowners or crack addicts lightly casing the joint. I realise when I finally close the blinds after C leaves that someone saw me attempt to take 11 selfies holding the flowers A sent because he was “feeling romantic”. I don’t know what is more embarrassing - being flooded with gifts with no occasion to warrant them and that I feel at my core I don’t deserve…or being caught learning to take tasteful yet grateful yet sexy photos of myself near said gifts. I’m also keenly aware that I don’t have A’s LA address and so can’t return the favour. C assures me it’s not a competition and that this is sometimes what men do for women
So I walk in aforementioned bewitched state through architectural heaven to dinner with V and A (different A). Important rule to break: if you don’t go to the studio, you are still allowed to go out and have fun the same evening. Perhaps breaking it is what feels so good, and not the architecture. Still. E is at the table when I arrive but swiftly leaves to hang out with someone V and I find annoying. I tell the table how stressed out I am by L and her toxic brand of friendship. We had agreed to deliver the painting I owed her in return for the music video she made me, to her home at 3pm today. I want nothing less than to be in touch with her again, but it felt important to make good on the trade so that she can’t accuse me of owing her anything down the line. R at the gallery texts to say that there was nobody at the house when the painting arrived. L is uncontactable for two hours subsequently, then swamps our iMessage thread with a mix of fake apology and somehow blaming me for not adequately responding to an earlier text, or misunderstanding her needs. Short of copy and pasting the receipts here (which I will eventually when I’m in a less discreet mood, and in their entirety from 2021-present) I am struggling to explain just how twisted it all becomes. I skim most of the texts for the buzzwords I’m used to from her. Words that are heavy duty and yet mean nothing when used this way
By the time we eat, and A is explaining to V how Morpheus8 treatments could protect her neck from sagging in the next ten years, I have forgotten my troubles. Debating a facelift isn’t an issue for me for at least two decades, and the food is good, and the restaurant music is weird. A invites me to stay with her at the chateau in LA if my romantic situation goes tits up at the end of February. I have rarely tested this theory, but I think A might be a very good person to flee to should the worst happen. She knows suffering. She has had covid 9 times. I pay, and we are kicked off our table so another party can be seated. V and I walk to the bus stop and regret this transport choice when two loud European men vape and grunt and make other disgusting and mildly sexual bodily noises two rows behind us. “Next time a black cab”, V says

To her brother Tiburce, who had gone to seek his fortune in far-off lands, Berthe announced her marriage as follows, in a letter of January, 1875:
“My dear Tiburce: Eugéne tells me that this is the day the mail goes off and for fear of missing another opportunity of writing to you, I am scribbling a few words in haste. The thought of you has obsessed me for several weeks, mon pauvre ami; where are you, what are you doing? I should give a great deal to know these things, and even more to be able to contribute in some way to your happiness. As for myself, I have been married a month now; it's strange, isn't it? T went through that great ceremony without the least pomp, in a dress and a hat, like the old woman that I am, and without guests.
“Since then I have been awaiting developments, but up to now luck has not favoured us much. The trip to Constantinople, so definite, so certain at first, is no longer so. I must not complain, however, since I have found an honest and excellent man, who I think loves me sincerely. I am facing the realities of life after living for quite a long time in chimeras that did not give me much happiness — and yet, thinking of my mother, I wonder if I have really done my duty. All these questions are complicated, and it is not easy, for me at least, to distinguish clearly between the right and the wrong.
“Mother is at Cambrai with Yves; she will have written to you, I think. She is there, poor woman, seeking a little peace of mind that she does not find. Her sorrows are not appeased by time, and you, my dear friend, you are a great cause of anxiety to her.
“How long it is since we heard from you! Today is January 24, a sad day, the anniversary of the death of poor father. How my heart tightens at the thought of these last years that were so agonizing, of his long suffering, and how I regret that 1 did not know how to ease his last moments!
“No, you see, my dear Tiburce, life is too short — we cannot afford to live so far from one another. Come back . . . unless you are getting rich, since that wretched thing, money, represents perfect happiness.
“Edma is still at Passy with her two babies and her husband; she has  again been very ill; decidedly the state of her health has been very precarious since her last confinement.“Do not take too many risks with your own health; you know that in the long run those climates are murderous. At times 1 have a kind of vague hope that you are on your way back home, and since I have never lost my faith in your future I can see you here, writing and making money, which is the ultimate goal of success... Where did you meet with Louis C—? Recently he has praised you to the Duchess Colonna in the most glowing terms: you are a genius . .. those are the words he used. Itis a pity that such praise does not come from someone else; but never mind, it is the fools who run the world — one must not scorn them too much. Are you still interested in your country'spolitics?”
A little later she wrote to him again:
“My dear Tiburce: I am writing to you today for the last time —at least, that is my ardent wish. I should like to know that you are already en route, far from that dreadful climate, and ready to return to us. Mother has sent me your letter; I read it with much emotion, realizing how much you have suffered and how sick you still are. Take care of yourself, be prudent; the change of air will do the rest.
“How we are looking forward to seeing you again, to be talking with you about so many extraordinary adventures! We'll make you relate them in detail. Then you will replace me a little at the side of poor mother, whom I have deserted; she will even benefit a great deal from the change, for our téte-4-téte has not been gay. You will give her new life.
“I  am just as confident of your future here; do not be distressed because you are returning empty-handed. Life is full of sudden changes; let us hope that this time they will be favourable for you.”

MINDS AND BODIES
We are all unique: in our bodies, our minds and our identities. Despite being so diverse, we sometimes depict one body-shape or way of thinking as being normal, even though few of us would describe ourselves in this way.
What do we see when we look at ourselves or at other people? Why do we sometimes act as if we value some lives more than others? The works in this section explore these preconceptions and their consequences. Together, they challenge assumptions about disability and difference.

Antoine Catala
Wood, foam, pump, silicon, 2017
The appearing and disappearing text make this slogan seem fragile. Perhaps instead of being confident that "everything is okay" we start to question it. When young,
Catala found it difficult to read emotions and his work often explores the potential for misunderstanding in a digital world.
This piece invites questions: what are we really feeling? And how fixed are those states of mind

There was no history of Hodgkin lymphoma and of cancers in anyone as young as me in my family, full stop. The thing I always think about though was that I've now made a family history of sorts; something that future generations will probably have to tick a box for on a medical form for years to come. Cancers got a legacy of its own, whether you accept it or not.

There is no scope in a single model to represent differences - this is a generic woman' rather than an individual.

You NEVER mean it M.V
Tumblr media
“You were so busy trying to win a game! A game we never asked to participate in and yet the damage you did to me somehow wasn’t your fault!”  Y/N exclaimed loudly, angry tears making paths down her y/s/c face. Scoffing the y/h/c woman couldn’t help the hatred laced laugh that tumbled from her cherry lips, it felt like weeks of heartbreak had resulted in utter word vomit.  The magical hold Red Bull’s resident golden boy had over her had broken violently, She’d realised their late night talks about the future were worthless. Y/N wondered if Max had ever actually loved her or if he’d just loved her out of childhood convenience.
“You broke me and I don’t even remember why?” the y/h/c young woman added quietly, the intense anger and hatred that had previously flowed through her veins tiring. The emotions she’d felt for the Driver before had gone, he’d crushed her like a meadow daisy in his enclosed fist. And then he had the audacity to stand there confused, almost surprised at her outburst. Y/N had changed, anyone could see that and from the way she carried herself to the way her usually bright eyes burnt like dying embers it was clear it hadn’t been her choice to change. There’s only so much damage control you can do and Y/N had tried to save herself from getting hurt, from getting fucked over and having to pick up the pieces and nurse a broken heart alone.
“Max your poison has seeped its way into my life, I can feel it laying here… under the surface waiting for a moment to monumentally fuck my life up!” Y/N stated firmly running a y/s/c hand through her y/h/c locks harshly. Taking a deep breath the young woman had to admit she appreciated Pierre being here, the Frenchman had become her confidant, her shoulder to cry on and represented only the good, the future. Pierre didn’t insert himself into her rant, didn’t try and stop her expressing her hurt, the Frenchman was proud of Y/N. He was proud of the more confident woman she was becoming. Loving him felt easy, it wasn’t a chore. Pierre made her feel and it was nice. He’d stroke her hair and place delicate kisses on the corner of her mouth when she was sad, he’d reassure her, he could make her laugh like it was as easy as breathing. Life with Pierre was like a romance novel not an teen drama. Y/N had to admit she’d felt stupid struggling to keep her relationship with Max afloat when Pierre had been there the entire time. He’d been in the same paddock for crying out loud, just meters away but there could have been a universe in between them.
“And you think just saying sorry is somehow going to take it all back?” the woman asked softly, her tense body relaxing in the Alphatauri Driver’s hold. The Dutchman’s treatment of her and of their relationship hardened her. Max seemed unaffected by the breakup, he remained austere and cold as the y/h/c young woman removed herself from their shared home, he’d practically ignored her existence since then until now.  “I am sorry!” Max retaliated moodily, finally snapping out of his bewildered daze. “It’s not my fault you don’t fucking listen” The Dutch Driver spat out his stormy eyes narrowed noticing the hold Pierre had on Y/N’s y/s/c figure. “Has it ever occurred to you that I don’t care anymore? I’ve heard you apologise a thousand times you NEVER mean it!”
“Never mean it? You said you loved me and look at you now?! What you decided you didn’t want a Champion?” Max shouted sarcasm laced in his thick tone, his small bursts of aggression was nothing new, it stemmed from his childhood; it was a trait Jos had unfortunately caused in the man. “Maybe if I’d said it enough maybe it would have become true Max… but it didn’t and you didn’t love me either not really.” Y/N said gently, shooting the Red Bull Driver a sorry smile. “Loving someone shouldn’t be that hard.” And with that there was nothing more to say, it was Max’s turn to absorb her parting words, perhaps he would also lay awake trying to decipher her choice of words. Try and calculate all the possible meanings those words had meant, the meanings they had represented before waking up and realising that they meant just that. Breakups were never easy. Nobody ever said they were but when it came to ending a relationship that you’d grown up in it was harder. And both parties needed to mourn the loss even if they didn’t realise it.
Walking away from the 2021 World Champion was easy, taking a deep breath the y/h/c young woman began muttering apologises to Pierre. The poor man had been caught between the Ex’s and the awkwardness surely must have been uncomfortable. “Forgive me Mon Amour I know that must have been hard… but you look so good when you’re angry” Pierre exclaimed passionately, lacing his fingers through hers. “Euh just remind me to not break your heart. I don't want to be shouted at in public d'accord.” The Driver added quickly a cheeky smile settling on his tan face, sunglasses hiding his mischief filled eyes.

"Does it sting?" Noelle asked as she delicately cleaned the wound on her neck.
"I'm used to the pain," (y/n) replied. The maid-knight pursed her lips and continued her work. After disinfecting the cut, she picked up a roll of fresh gauze and was about to dress her wound when she noticed a peculiar mark. She blinked and then squinted as a purple symbol glowed ominously over the laceration. Just as she was about to address the strange mark to (y/n), it disappeared as quickly as it came, surprising Noelle.
Was she just imagining things?
'Perhaps the Honorary Knight is right about me needing more rest,' she thought whilst dressing (y/n)'s wound.
Later on in the afternoon, (y/n) decided to visit Albedo in Mondstadt. It has been a long time since their last encounter, and she wanted to apologise to him for never showing up again despite having agreed to become his assistant. She hoped that he'll understand her reason for her absence. When she entered the city, she noticed that the people looked anxious, as if some sort of misfortune had struck the populace. She arched an eyebrow, wondering what had influenced their gloomy demeanour.
She then spotted a familiar woman with light blue hair speaking to a shorter girl with long, dark brown hair wearing a headband topped with a large red bow by the fountain up ahead. Judging by her solemn expression, Eula seemed to be having a serious conversation with the brunette. (Y/n) decided to approach Eula to ask her what's going on, and the Captain of the Reconnaissance Company noticed her immediately when she was only a few steps away from them.
"Oh, it's you. It's been a while since we last saw each other, (y/n)," Eula said, nodding at her in acknowledgement, "I hope you've been doing well."
"Likewise. Though I wanted to ask, did something happen?" (y/n) asked, sounding a bit concerned, "There seemed to be unrest among the people." Before Eula could give her a response, the brunette beat her to it.
"A lot of the adventurers from the Adventurer's Guild have been going missing lately! And whenever they're found, they've all fallen into a coma-like state. The hospital has its hands full trying to take care of their comatose patients," she answered, sighing dejectedly.
(Y/n) cupped her chin, finding the situation the girl described familiar. She was sure that she had come across a similar problem in Inazuma before meeting Kazuya...
The brunette suddenly straightened her back and did a salute, drawing (y/n)'s attention. "By the way, I'm Outrider Amber of the Knights of Favonius! Forgive me for not introducing myself earlier... (Y/n), was it?" When (y/n) nodded, a beam split Amber's face in half. "It's nice to finally meet you! Kaeya, Eula and Albedo have mentioned your name a few times to me."
(Y/n) perked up at Albedo's name. "Speaking of Albedo, do you know where I can find him? I'd like to give him a formal apology for something that I failed to do."
Eula folded her arms over her chest and said, "He recently returned from his camp in Dragonspine an hour ago, so he should be in his office right now, most likely sketching."
(Y/n)'s head dipped forward in a small bow. "Thank you, Eula. And perhaps we'll cross paths again in the future, Amber."
Amber waved at (y/n) cheerfully. "Yeah! See you around!"
When the (h/c)-haired woman arrived at the Knights of Favonius Headquarters, she was stopped by one of the guards standing outside.
"Please state your business," he said.
"I'm here to see the Captain of the Investigation Team, Albedo," she replied. Before the man could open his mouth again to say something, a familiar voice interjected. Blinking, (y/n)'s eyes then flickered up to see a certain Cavalry Captain walking outside, and her entire body tensed at the sight of him.
"Let her through. I know her," Kaeya uttered as he stood on top of the stairs, smiling down at her charmingly, "Come on in, (y/n). Albedo is inside his office."
As the guard saluted Kaeya out of respect for his superior, (y/n) reluctantly ascended the stairs to follow Kaeya inside the headquarters. The moment they entered the fancy building, he turned around to face her with a more genuine smile.
"You don't have to be so stiff around me. No funny tricks from now on, I promise," he told her, letting out an awkward chuckle when she shot him a look of doubt, "I guess it's understandable that you don't find me trustworthy after what I pulled on you twice."
"You attempted to kidnap me," she said matter-of-factly.
His smile became tinged with nervousness. "I have no intentions of doing that anymore. Please believe me when I say that I don't want to hurt you in any way." After a short pause, he quietly added, "I just want to know what kind of person you are before I decide for myself what I'm going to do."
She knitted her eyebrows together, puzzled. "Pardon?"
"I'd like to find out whether the woman in front of me is (y/n) or... another person," Kaeya clarified, tilting his head down to meet her eyes. The more he thought about his mission, the more conflicted he felt - especially since he knew that it was thanks to her his bloodline survived the cataclysmic event that destroyed Khaenri'ah. It would be wrong of him to forcefully put her on the battlefield again when she had saved a single life that brought forth many more into this world.
But right now, is she the human (y/n) or the weapon Gungnir?
"I don't understand," she murmured, perplexed by his words.
"Nevermind what I said. It's not important." With a closed-eye smile, he then held up the flat beige gift box that she didn't notice he had been holding onto all this time before presenting it to her. "Master Diluc had asked me to give this to you when I went to Angel's Share earlier in the morning. He didn't tell me what was inside, so I can't answer any questions about its contents." When Kaeya saw (y/n) staring at Diluc's gift skeptically, he let out a soft sigh. "Won't you make a man happy and accept his gift? You're constantly on his mind, you know."
The sudden revelation took her by surprise. "Diluc thinks about me?"
"Oh, no honourifics? Seems like you two are a lot closer than I thought." Laughing airily, he pushed the gift box into her arms before turning on his heels and sauntering away. "Albedo's office is on the second floor. Take the stairs and then turn left."
She stared at Kaeya as he left the headquarters, baffled by the unexpected shift in his demeanour. He had treated her with suspicion when they first met, and now he's... trying to act friendly with her? Expelling a deep sigh, she then cast her gaze to the gift box he had handed to her. The box looked so pretty that she almost didn't want to open it.
"I wonder what Diluc got for me?" she quietly mused, carefully undoing the satin ribbon. When she lifted the lid, she saw rows of colourful circles and two tiny brushes inside. She didn't really know what it's supposed to be and assumed that it was a paint set.
'But I don't know how to paint... Is he indirectly telling me to practice?' she thought, her eyebrows furrowing. Closing the lid, (y/n) decided to finish her business with Albedo first before figuring out what to do with Diluc's gift. Upon finding Albedo's office, she lifted a hand from her side to knock on the door when it suddenly swung open, revealing a surprised alchemist.
"(Y/n)? Why are you here?" he asked, having not expected to see her again after their first meeting. He was sure that she would retract her words and refuse to visit him again, yet her presence before him at the moment proved all of his thoughts wrong.
"I came here to apologise to you for never showing up again despite having agreed to become your assistant. I wasn't allowed to leave Dawn Winery due to personal reasons. Since I'm living with Aether now, I can assist you at any time," she replied, smiling apologetically.
The blond folded his arms over his chest. "That's alright. You may forget what we agreed on previously - there's no need for you to dedicate yourself to being my aide."
(Y/n)'s eyes widened by a fraction. "May I ask why?"
There was a brief moment of silence. "After Kaeya took you away on that day, I had another chat with him when he returned to the headquarters. I've... realised the error in my treatment of you."
She was puzzled by his words and struggled to understand why he thought that he had treated her badly; it's not as if he was performing an experiment on her... right? Albedo saw the confusion in her expression and cleared his throat.
"At any rate, you are no longer obliged to help me with my experiments. Technically, I'm not allowed to involve civilians in such affairs," he said before flashing her a minuscule smile, "However, nobody said that having you visit me as a guest is not permissible." Stepping aside, he then beckoned her to enter his office. "Please come inside."
A wave of relief washed over her when Albedo indirectly admitted that he would still welcome her, regardless of the limitations. Although he knew the truth about her, he wasn't hostile towards or suspicious of her, and was more on the curious side. She felt oddly comfortable in his presence as his calm demeanour was akin to Dainsleif's.
As she walked inside, he asked her, "What happened to your neck?"
(Y/n)'s hand immediately flew up to loosely wrap itself around her throat. "It's just small wound."
"May I have a look?" he inquired as he approached to stand in front of her. She hesitated for a moment, but eventually unwound the bandages around her neck for him. He arched an eyebrow, seeing no injury of the sort blemishing her skin. "If there was a cut here, all traces it seem to have disappeared." He subconsciously brushed his fingers down the side of her neck, sending shivers down her spine.
"My creators bound a spell to my physical body some time after I was born. From what I was told by a dear friend of mine, the spell, among other things, greatly enhances my regenerative abilities. Although I cannot regrow my limbs, I heal faster than normal humans. I can even survive injuries that are considered fatal thanks to this spell," she explained, lowering her gaze solemnly, "It made my body incredibly durable for intense battles, allowing me to fight until I completely break down."
Albedo hummed pensively. "The ancient alchemists of Khaenri'ah certainly did commit themselves to fully weaponising you. A pseudo-Archon created from an artificial Transcendant gene... How fascinating." Capturing her chin in a gentle grip, he then tilted her head up, the corners of his lips rising into a smile. "You don't have to worry about fighting on the battlefield here. I did tell you that you're no longer in Khaenri'ah, did I not?"
"Ah... Yes," (y/n) said, blinking.
"What do you have there?" he asked, releasing her. He took a step back, eyeing the beige gift box in her grasp.
"Oh, this is a gift I received from Diluc. I think it's a paint set," she answered, switching her attention the box she was holding.
"You think it's a paint set? Mind if I see what's inside?"
Nodding, she handed the gift box over to the blond, whose eyes widened slightly when he lifted the lid. "This is not a paint set, (y/n). It's makeup."
(Y/n) cocked her head to one side quizzically with an eyebrow raised. "Makeup? What's that?"
Spinning on his heels, he walked over to his desk and pulled his chair out before inviting her to sit down. "Come over here and I'll show you."
She promptly did as she was told and took a seat on his chair. He then picked up one of the tiny brushes and chose a colour as he pressed the tips of his fingers under her chin to angle her face up for a better view of it.
"Putting makeup on a person is like painting on a canvas. Makeup is basically art," he began, chuckling softly at the puzzled look she gave him, "Please close your eyes and trust me."
The (h/c)-haired woman stared at Albedo as he patiently waited for her to close her eyes. After a few seconds have passed, she lowered her eyelids, and he started to apply eye shadow on them. The gentle strokes of the brush felt soothing against her skin; it was like a lullaby that she could feel.
"You're naturally beautiful, so there's actually no need for you to wear makeup," he uttered, "However, makeup can turn you into a different person, even if you're only wearing a little bit of it." Once he was done, he put the brush back inside the box, closed the lid and then told her to open her eyes. "You probably won't feel any different right now, but I'm sure Aether will be pleasantly surprised to see you if you went home like this."
"I don't exactly know what you just did to my face, but thank you," (y/n) said.
His gaze softened. "You're welcome. This was an enjoyable way to practice my art skills-"
"Mr Albedo!" Their moment was suddenly interrupted when Sucrose burst into his office, appearing extremely panicked. The ends of her green tresses were singed, as if something had exploded in her face, and there were also small blood stains on her uniform.
Albedo was immediately alarmed and asked, "What's the matter, Sucrose?"
"The blood samples exploded!" Sucrose exclaimed, flailing her arms frantically, "I slowly added the pyro slime condensate to the samples like you said, a-and an overload reaction happened!"
"I see," he murmured, cupping his chin before speaking up, "I'll be there in a few. For now, please return to the lab and clean up any broken equipment."
"Y-yes sir!" Bowing quickly, she then scampered out of his office to clean up the mess in the laboratory. As Albedo got ready to leave, (y/n) rose to her feet and went to stand beside him.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" she asked. He turned around to face her and shook his head.
"Don't worry about it. The experiment is not as dangerous as it sounds," he replied as he picked a single cecilia from the vase on his desk. He then slipped the flower behind her ear, his hand sliding down to gingerly cup her cheek. "I'll see you next time, (y/n)." Flashing her another smile, he retracted his hand and soon walked out of his office, leaving a flustered (y/n) behind.
Inside the Favonius laboratory, Albedo scanned the observation notes Sucrose had jotted down during the experiment that he put her in charge of this morning. His eyes flickered up to meet her nervous amber pair.
"So you're saying that the blood samples were already contaminated with elemental energy?" Albedo inquired, handing the papers back to her.
"Y-yes! Electro and Pyro, specifically. But the concentration of Electro energy is higher than the concentration of Pyro energy by a slim margin," she answered.
He lowered his eyelids halfway as he folded his arms over his chest, trying to come up with a plausible theory that could explain the strange trait of (y/n)'s blood. If the blood inside her body contains a mixture of Electro and Pyro energy, could it be possible that she has a Vision implanted near her heart? Assuming that's true, why did the alchemists involved in Project: Gungnir choose that specific area?
'If the Electro energy exists in slightly higher concentrations, then it's possible that she possesses an Electro Vision. But what is the source of the Pyro energy?' he thought. He doubted that she's able to manipulate the elements without a medium, and it's unlikely that she was taught how to fuse two elements together.
His eyes widened when realisation dawned on him.
"Memories," he whispered, recalling her previous words.
"I don't know who I am. The memories that I always dream about... I-I don't even know if they're mine!"
He covered his mouth with a hand, suddenly feeling sick in the stomach at the other theory his mind just conjured up.
"They couldn't have... Did they harvest the brain of a dead Vision user and revive it inside a stable vessel?" he mumbled. The possibility was not far-fetched; if the Vision implanted in her body belonged to that Vision user, an anomaly might have occurred when the empty Vision lit up with Electro because the brain remembered its original host as a Pyro Vision user, causing the Vision to resonate with Pyro too.
(Y/n) might as well be the reincarnation of a Vision user who died centuries ago, and that Vision user must not have been an ordinary person if their brain was going to be used to create a puppet god.
(Y/n) decided to explore the city of Mondstadt since she never got the chance to do it properly before. She might as well try to find out more about the comatose adventurers while she's here too - and if her guess is correct, she might be able to help them wake up. After all, she did solve a similar crisis in Inazuma and her knowledge may prove to be useful. As she was searching for the hospital that Amber spoke of, she crossed paths with Kaeya once again. Before she could run off in the other direction however, he had already noticed her and called her name.
"(Y/n), wait!" he exclaimed, clasping her elbow and pulling her back. He kept a firm grip on her arm to prevent her from escaping. "I know I'm unpleasant to be around, but please allow me to apologise to you for what I've done." Her posture didn't relax at all, and he continued to persist. "I'm sorry. I was rude to you and didn't act like a proper member of the Knights of Favonius. One chance to fix my mistakes is all I ask for."
She stared at him, scanning his face for any signs of deception; Kaeya appeared to be genuine about wanting to apologise to her. Diluc had given her a chance to prove that she wasn't a threat, so it would only be fair if she did the same to others, right? With a long, drawn-out sigh, her shoulders slowly relaxed and she nodded.
"Alright," she quietly said, prompting him to let go of her.
"Thank you." Flashing her his signature smile, he nodded in the direction of Good Hunter. "You haven't had lunch yet, have you? Let's eat at Good Hunter - it'll be my treat."
(Y/n) warily followed the Cavalry Captain to the small restaurant and took a seat whilst he went to Sara to place their orders. Since (y/n) wasn't native to Mondstadt, she wasn't familiar with the local food and trusted him to decide what they should have for lunch. Once he was done, he sauntered over to the table and sat down across from her.
"Before I tell you anything, I'd like to formally apologise for my behaviour towards you in the past. As the Cavalry Captain of the Favonius Knights, I should have been more respectful towards you," he began, folding his arms atop the table, "The truth is... I know all about you. Where you came from, and what you were made to become."
(Y/n) gazed at him, and for a moment an image of the little girl she saved from perishing with Khaenri'ah overlapped with his figure. His words confirmed her belief that he was her descendant.
'So her bloodline survived... I'm glad that I was able to preserve another life,' she thought, sighing internally.
"It's thanks to you that my ancestor survived. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be alive right now," he said, slightly tilting his head to one side.
'Unfortunately, her descendants wish to use you as a catalyst for their plans,' he thought, averting his gaze. He wasn't sure if he should tell her this as he was afraid of being pushed away by her; he didn't want what happened between him and Diluc to repeat itself. However, he knew that he would eventually have to spill the truth to her one day.
As silence settled around the pair, Sara approached their table with the food Kaeya had ordered earlier and set the plates in front of them.
"Enjoy your meal! Let me know if there is anything else I can get you," she said before walking away. The two began to eat their food quietly, and after a moment (y/n) spoke up, drawing his attention.
"I heard that the adventurers who go missing are always found in a comatose state."
Kaeya let out a soft hum. "That's correct, and there's one interesting detail. According to the reports I've received, the comatose adventurers were found in domains. If they're in pairs or small groups, they're always found together - it's as if they were arranged in a way that would make it easy for something to surround them. One of the knights also found a strange katana with a black blade."
A feeling of uneasiness gnawed at her stomach. "I don't think those adventurers are in a coma. They're trapped in an endless dream that fulfills their desires and are unable to wake up as a result."
"Oh? What makes you say that?" he asked, genuinely surprised at how specific she was.
The (h/c)-haired woman was silent as memories of the half-mazoku she encountered in Inazuma flashed before her eyes. Although centuries have passed and she no longer remembered his name, she could never forget his snow-white hair and single silver horn protruding from the left side of his head; even the mere thought of his piercing red eyes sent chills down her spine.
"Many years ago, I encountered an evil demon born from a human mother in Inazuma. He created a red mist that surrounded an entire village, effectively putting its inhabitants in a deep slumber to make it easier for him to devour their flesh. They were trapped in a dream that they desired the most in life, so it was impossible for me to wake them up," she answered in a low voice, "They were only able to wake up after I destroyed one of his swords that controlled the mist. All of his swords looked identical though, and I had a hard time figuring out which one it was." She then paused and looked at him right in the eye. "You said the katana has a black blade, right? The demon's swords also had black blades. I'm sure that I beheaded him during our fight, so perhaps someone had inherited his technique and is threatening Mondstadt for reasons we have yet to know."
Kaeya mulled over her words carefully. "I see... What do you suggest we should do then?"
"Mobilise your men outside of the city to search the surrounding area for any black katana."
"And have them destroyed on sight?"
"Yes."
A corner of his lips quirked up. "Thank you for your insight, (y/n). You know, should consider joining the Knights of Favonius - I can see you being assigned to the Reconnaissance Company under Eula."
"I'll pass," (y/n) quickly said, setting her fork and knife aside, "Anyway, thank you for treating me to lunch."
"Leaving so soon?" he asked, and she didn't miss the subtle disappointment in his tone, "I don't think this is enough for a proper apology... Ah, how about this? Let's go on a day trip to Liyue tomorrow. It's going to be the weekend, and I'm sure the Acting Grand Master will approve of my request for a day off."
He had her attention the moment he mentioned Liyue. Liyue should be where Xiao is, right? Although there's a small chance that she'll bump into Morax, that won't matter once she meets the adeptus in her dreams. She has questions that can only be answered by him.
'We fought briefly in Guyun Stone Forest, but I'm sure he was just following orders. He could have killed me and he didn't,' she thought, lowering her gaze to her empty plate.
"Very well. We'll visit Liyue tomorrow," she replied, nodding.
"That's great. I can't wait to spend more time with you," he said with a grin.
(Y/n) did not expect to reunite with Venti so soon when she returned to Aether's Serenitea Pot. Apparently, Venti had not anticipated them meeting as well and gaped at her in shock as he stood in the middle of the main hall. He looked the same as he did in the past - a bard clad in green with the flowers representing his country adorning his outfit. A shadow was cast over her eyes, and before the Anemo Archon could properly comprehend what was happening, he was pinned against the wall with multiple lightning projectiles holding him up by his clothes.
"(Y/n)-"
"Silence."
Venti immediately shut his mouth at her order. Ripping the cecilia out of her hair, she threw it on the floor and proceeded to crush the flower under her foot.
"You betrayed me," she hissed, summoning one of her black polearms.
"W-wait! I'll tell you everything I know if you let me explain myself!" he exclaimed, panicking. She approached him slowly, but as she got closer, he could see the fury in her expression gradually morphing into hurt. This caused his insides to twist with guilt as he knew very well how his decision in the past had impacted her emotionally - but he didn't regret it, as it did give her another chance to live.
"Why did you do it?" (y/n) asked quietly, "Why did you help Morax seal me underground? Did you know how hard it was for me to keep myself sane for five agonising centuries?"
He bit his bottom lip.
"I'm so sorry, (y/n). There was no other way for me to protect you. I swear I had no intentions of seriously harming you, so please believe me," he implored desperately. He hesitated to utter his next words but since there was never a right time to wait, he decided to take the risk. "Celestia ordered the Archons to kill you, but I couldn't bring myself to do it because... I-I love you. So if I had the choice and power, I would have done everything I could to keep you safe."
She faltered, caught completely off-guard by his abrupt confession. "What?" She didn't believe him. There's no way an Archon would fall for a Transcendant. That's what she thought, yet... Venti's eyes shone with utmost sincerity that she almost felt inclined to believe his words.
"My feelings for you never got lost with the flow of time. I care about you so much that I was willing to enter a contract with Morax to ensure that your life would be spared," he continued, "He could have ended your life on the spot with his stone spears, but he agreed to petrify you instead on the condition that your stone statue would be preserved in Liyue."
She was struggling to wrap her head around the truth. All this time, she thought that Venti was never on her side to begin with, but he was only trying to protect her from Celestia in his own way.
"A contract is supposed to benefit both parties," (y/n) stated, realising that something was not adding up, "Morax had no benefit from this contract. Are you lying to me?"
He quickly shook his head. "That's not true! Your original body belonged to an adeptus who was cherished by him. Although she was Xiao's lover, Morax developed feelings for her as well." He paused for a moment to analyse her dumbfounded expression. To be honest, even Venti was confused when Morax revealed the truth about (y/n) to him, and wondered how the Geo Archon knew that the adeptus who died unexpectedly had been reborn in an artificial body. "I don't know all the details but... he told me that you're the reincarnation of adeptus (y/n)."
(Y/n)'s eyes were blown wide as she was in complete and utter shock, and her weapon disappeared from her hand. So in her past life, she was one of Liyue's adepti and Xiao's lover? And her dreams about Xiao... were actually the memories of her past life?
"Wh-what... What happened to my original body? What happened to the original (y/n)?" she asked, clenching her fists, "Why did she... Why did she die, only to be reborn as me...?"
Did adeptus (y/n) die in Khaenri'ah?
"I don't understand. Nothing makes sense to me anymore," she whispered, gripping her head with both hands. The lightning projectiles pinning Venti to the wall flashed out of existence as she crumpled to the floor. Kneeling down to her level, the Anemo Archon gently grasped her hands before pulling her towards him.
"Nothing may make sense right now, but I can tell you that you're the (y/n) I fell in love with," he murmured, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"I haven't forgiven you," she told him, placing her hands on his chest to push him away - but he simply tightened his arms around her.
"I know. I'm not going to give up though, because that's what I promised myself."
