College of Idaho: 2024-25 NAIA Men's Basketball National Champions
Tumblr media
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Samaje Morgan poured in a game-high 28 points for College of Idaho and Dougie Peoples added 21, as the Yotes claimed the 2025 NAIA Men’s Basketball Red Banner, leading for more than 38 minutes and never trailing, topping Oklahoma Wesleyan University, 93-65, at Municipal Auditorium in Downtown Kansas City.
Morgan and Peoples were two of the four who reached double figures for the Yotes, who also had 12 points from Johnny Radford, and 10 from Tyler Robinett. Oklahoma Wesleyan ended its season at 28-8, getting a pair of 15-point outings out of Jaden Lietzke and Nick Bene.
College of Idaho (35-2) built an early 11-4 lead when Radford tripled at the 16:56 mark in the first half, but OKWU was able to edge at the lead and get back within one, 18-17, on an Ethan Williams basket in the lane at 13:07.
Over the next seven plus, it was all Yotes, who used an 18-3 run to break the game open and go in front 36-22, on a 3-pointer by Robinett with 7:27 in the opening 20.
Back-to-back OKWU baskets, by Lietzke and Isaac Stanek, got the Eagles back within 11, but C of I scored on its next two possessions, going up 41-25, on the way to a 49-29 lead at intermission.
Morgan had nine of his 28 in the first half, and the Yotes shot 56.5 percent, including 64.3 percent from outside the arc on nine made 3-pointers.
C of I didn’t slow down to begin the second half, up 58-35 at the under-15 timeout, and OKWU didn’t get closer than 16 the rest of the way, as C of I ended the game shooting 55.7 percent, holding Oklahoma Wesleyan to 37.1 percent from the floor.
After the game, the 2025 NAIA Men’s Basketball National Championship All-Tournament Team and individual awards were announced.

Charles hadn’t exactly been around for most of Peyton and Brooke’s childhood, he’d given more time to his youngest niece than he did to anybody else in the family but he’d still had a very non-child-friendly life in the city that took up the majority of his days, but even he was aware that the two were best friends. Practically attached at the hip. Which is why he had more than an inclining that if he wanted to talk to Brooke, the other teenager was just the girl to talk to. “Hey!” He exclaimed as he spotted her across the street, waving his hand to get her attention. What was her name? Piper? No that was her annoying mother, the one Emily was basically surrounded by at the barbeques. Penny? Phyllis? Pure? No it was something unusual but not that...Peyton. “Hey, Peyton, right?” He called again, now moving towards her rather than waiting for her to come to him. His friendly demeanour dropping little by little, completely gone by the time he was in front of her asking, “Where the hell’s my niece?”

I have very mixed feelings about the sudden policing of shows and movies for casting “teen” romantic leads whose actors have an age difference. Whether you like it or not, this is how Hollywood works.
Yes, adults are usually cast to play teens to get around working hours, child labor laws and schooling. Yeah, there is something to say about the disproportionate casting of mostly older guys as teens when casting actual teens as female leads.
And yeah, in the past 40 years of film and television some of it has been downright disturbing, but there’s the almost irksome tone policing that’s happening now where we’re hyper-critical of works where romantic leads have real life age differences between actors, even when the actors are both legal, and even when the characters they’re playing don’t have an age gap.
And people being told they can’t promote or enjoy a work’s in canon love story because of the age difference between the actors portraying the characters. And even comparing or accusing shows who happen to have this type of casting and who have a love story as essentially peddling kiddie/philia, and I just cannot … I can’t. Sorry. No.
Things aren’t taken into consideration such as typically an entire story may be written before casting even happens. Sometimes casting the right person for the role will include someone who isn’t the same age as the character. This is how the acting field functions, and within reason, this is something that all actors, including the young ones and their parents are aware of etc.
I do find it interesting and have noticed an unfortunate pattern that folks are particularly critical of this when it comes to young actors of color as romantic leads, and it doesn’t sit well. Because while the concerns are valid and shouldn’t be discounted, only being this consistently vocal about it to the point of policing fandom and chastising and discouraging fans from daring to enjoy a ship between the CHARACTERS … there’s a lot to unpack there too.
I’ve seen this recently with Never Have I Ever. Maitreyi Ramakrishen is 18, and Darren Barnet is 29. Yeah, no lie, it is hella weird even within the context of the show because of Devi actively seeking out a physical relationship and also Darren LOOKS like a 30 year old man.
I saw it with The Sun is Also a Star with Yara Shahidi and Charles Melton who are like a decade apart in age. But was something I didn’t notice while watching at least.
But I’m also seeing this with Julie and the Phantoms. The show could not get more wholesome and chaste. The romance between Julie and Luke is innocent pining, but folks are still super worked up about Madison being 16 and Charles being 21, and you would think the characters got it on with no clothes in the backseat of a Volvo or something. And I’m just trying to understand what the guidelines are now.
Because there are DEFINITELY some fkd up and problematic age gaps. Brooke Shields’ mother basically p*mped her daughter out doing films like Pretty Baby. It’s grotesque and should be criminal. She was 14 doing s*x scenes. Simonetta Stefanell was 16 doing them and playing Al Pacino’s wife in The Godfather. Kristen Stewart, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lawrence, Dakota Fanning (ironically with Stewart) and more have definitely been in some questionable roles doing questionable things with questionable age differences.
But then, specifically teen stuff we’ve collectively enjoyed is open to critique, no doubt, but it’s also not dissected the same way or has the same expectations? And I don’t know.
No one batted an eye over 19 year old Tyler Posey paired with 26 year old Crystal Reed, and it definitely didn’t discourage anyone from enjoying their ship…
Trina Mcgee was 28 when she started playing Angela Moore on Boy Meets World and was even expecting at some point, and Rider was 17, but we weren’t discouraged from enjoying Shawngela (because of that anyway 😒).
Mila Kunis was 15 on That 70s Show with a 20 year old Ashton Kutcher.
Selena Gomez was 16 and Drew Seeley was 26 in Another Cinderella Story.
Andrea in the original BH90210 was in her 30s.
Taylor Momsen was 13 on Gossip Girl (still weird AF casting choice honestly) With 19 and 22 year olds over time.
Claire Danes was 14 to Leonardo Dicaprio’s 22 in Romeo and Juliet. And to 21 year old Jared Leto (which eww) in My So Called Life.
Lyndsy Fonseca was 14 with a 25 year old costar playing teen love interest on Y&R
Peyton Kennedy was like 15 with Sydney Sweeney being 22 years old in Everything S*cks.
Mischa Barton was 17 The O. C. with 24 year old Ben Mckenzie.
And Sasha Pieterse was 14 made out with 23 year old Shay Mitchell in PLL.
Cobra Kai, which is two seasons in now, has a love triangle between Sam, Mary Mouser who is 24, Diego, Xolo who is 19, and Tanner Buchanan who is 21.
I’m not arguing that people shouldn’t feel some kind of way about some casting choices or aren’t entitled to feel a certain way about this. I’m not even arguing that Hollywood doesn’t have an issue here because they clearly do as evidenced by examples above.
But I’m just genuinely trying to understand where we’re expected to be as consumers and fans of fictional works, characters, and relationships (again, within reason) if we’re not allowed (by public opinion and fandom space) to enjoy the fictional stories and relationships, romantic or otherwise because of casting choices…
Because I’ll admit, Devi and Paxton on Never Have I Ever was distracting as hell because Darren has like crow’s feet and everything and doesn’t pass as a teenager even by the absurd tv standards, so I couldn’t get into the pairing.
But I’ve been a diehard Shawngela fan for years, and that age gap between the actors didn’t deter me back then and it still doesn’t now.
And imagine my surprise when I bingewatched one of the most wholesome shows of this godforsaken year only to discover it’s now wrong to enjoy two adorable teens singing to each other lovingly and hugging because apparently there’s a five year age gap between the actors playing them and therefore it’s problematic to like the fictional pairing.
Like, I guess this is controversial, but Tumblr, I’m tired.

Steuben’s Aide-de-Camp, Sub-Inspectors &c.
According to Kapp Steuben gives a list of 21 ‘assistants’ he had. I’ve used this list as a starting point and attempted to identify who each of these men were and in what way they were ‘assistants’ to the Baron. Unfortunately there are still some unanswered questions. If anyone has any insight into who some of these men were or when exactly they worked with the Baron, please add to this post!
Aide-de-Camp
Captain Du Ponceau
Pierre Étienne Du Ponceau, who later changed his name to Peter Stephen Du Ponceau, was Steuben’s first aide. They met through Beaumarchais when the Baron was in Paris. Du Ponceau who was 17 and eager to go on adventure, signed up to be his secretary. Out of the 3 french aides who traveled with Steuben to America, Du Ponceau was the only one who spoke English. On the the 18th of February 1778 congress appointed him a secretary to Steuben with the rank of Captain. Du Ponceau served on his staff helping mostly with translation.
In January 1780 Du Ponceau became ill and was unable to continue with the Baron. He was diagnosed with consumption and told his illness was terminal. In November 1780 believing that he would die anyway he begged the Baron to let him back on his staff. He argued that if he was to die"it was better and more honourable that it should be on the field of battle, than by the slow and painful process of an incurable disease.” Steuben was persuaded by this argument, “Very well,” said he, “you shall follow me, and I hope you will either recover your health or die an honourable death.”
Du Ponceau eventually had to leave Steuben’s staff again in June 1781 when the Baron and his staff was fleeing Simcoe at Point of Fork. Steuben advised him to return to Philadelphia. Believing that they would never see him again Du Ponceau left the group, as they parted the Baron had tears in his eyes. Luckily Du Ponceau did recover in Philadelphia, however he never rejoined Steuben’s staff.
Major Des Epiniers
Augustin François Des Epiniers, was Beaumarchais nephew and had come with Steuben from France. (Lockhart 48-49) Des Epiniers quit Steuben’s staff in autumn 1778, Charles Lee had spread the rumour that Steuben’s credentials were fake. De Epiniers sided with Lee and quit Steuben’s staff. (Lockhart 188) He later regretted this action and tried to reconcile but Steuben would not forgive him. (Lockhart 231-233)
Captain De Pontière
Louis de Pontiere traveled from France with Steuben. After they joined up with the army he left the Barons staff and joined Pulaski’s legion. (Du Ponceau)
Major De L’Enfant
When the Baron first arrived in Boston he befriended Pierre Charles L’Enfant and François Adrien de Romanet. While Romanet chose to return to France, L’Enfant chose to stay and was appointed a aide-de-camp to the Baron. (Lockhart 67) When Steuben’s staff were working on the Blue Book in Phillidephia (Nov 1778-April 1779) L’Enfant was in charge of the Illustrations. (Du Ponceau) In April 1779 L’Enfant was appointed a Captain in the Corps of Engineers.
Colonel Walker
Benjamin Walker, was born in England, but had emigrated to America before the war. At Steuben’s first parade at Valley Forge, confusion started to spread through the troops. Steuben, who at this time did not speak English, was having trouble communicating to the troops what he wanted. Walker stepped forward and offered to interpret. “If, said the Baron, I had seen an angel from Heaven, I should not have been more rejoiced.” Form that moment Walker became Steuben’s aide-de-camp.
On the 25th of January 1782 Walker was transferred to Washington’s staff. Although he was no longer on Steuben’s staff, they remained good friends until the Baron’s death. After the war he apparently lived with the Baron and some other former aides at the Louvre for a short time. Steuben also lived with Walker for some time during a period when he was in financial difficulty.
Major North
William North recalls that the first time he saw Steuben was in early 1778 at a ball in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. However he didn't join the Baron’s staff until over a year later in autumn 1779. (Lockhart 201) While Steuben became very fond of North he was it seems less than impressed by his work ethic. Steuben complained to Walker that North’s “power does not consist in his pen, and that he is as lazy and he is amiable.”
On their way to Yorktown North developed a fever, and when Steuben left Yorktown to meet with Congress in Philadelphia North was too sick to travel. He gave North half of the money he had left. “God bless you, I can do no more” he told North. “Nor could he” writes North “the feelings of friends, in such a moment, and under such circumstances, may possibly be conceived, but not expressed. A journey of three hundred miles was before him, a single piece of gold in his purse. Are other instances necessary to unfold the texture of his heart? how many have I written on my own!”
It’s unclear when North rejoined the Baron, however he seems to have been back with him in September/October 1782. (Lockhart 275) North remained part of Steuben’s staff until the end of the war.
It seems that at some point while he was on Steuben’s staff the two became romantically involved. They lived together for a few years after the war at the Louvre and remained close until the Barons death.
Captain Fairlie
James Fairlie joined Steuben’s staff on the 15th of May 1780. Fairlie was know for his wit. It’s said that he once made Washington fall over with laughter. Fairlie was taken prisoner in June 1781 when Steuben and his staff was fleeing Simcoe at Point of Fork. (Lockhart 269) It’s unclear when Fairlie was exchanged but it must have been before July 1783 when he accompanied Steuben on his trip to Canada. After the war he seems to have lived with the Baron and some other former aides at the Louvre. Steuben and Fairlie later had a falling out.
Colonel William S. Smith
William S. Smith was apparently an aide-de-camp to Steuben but it is unclear when. It must have been before the 6th of July 1781 as that is when he was appointed to Washington’s staff. After the war he lived with the Baron and some other former aides at the Louvre.
Captain Duval
Daniel Duval was it seems at some point aide-de-camp to Steuben when exactly I am not sure.
Major Popham
Major. William Popham was for a time aide-de-camp to Baron Steuben. I’m unsure when exactly Popham was on his staff but it seems that he joined after Ben Walker left in January 1782. On the 27th of Dec 1782 Steuben wrote to Walker “I do not think that Popham is anxious to join me again; at least I have not had a line from him.”
Voluntary Aide-de-Camp
Messrs. Peyton Randolph & Moore
Both Peyton Randolph and Moore were for a short time voluntary aids during the Virginia campaign. I must assume this Peyton Randolph was not the Peyton Randolph who was the first President of the Continental Congress as he died before Steuben even landed in America. While I’m not sure who exactly Mr. Moore was, I have however with a little help from google translate discovered that he may have been Colonel. John Walker’s brother in law. John Walker was married to Elizabeth Moore, which of her bothers this may have been however I don’t know.
Sub-Inspectors
This is not a complete list of sub-inspectors only those who Steuben included on his list of assistants.
Lieutenant Colonel Ternant
Jean Baptiste Ternant was a French officer who had come to America in hopes of gaining employment in the Army, however he had come without any letters of recommendation. He quickly befriended both Steuben and John Laurens, due to their support Ternant was appointed as a civilian sub-inspector without rank. Ternant worked closely with Steuben throughout much of 1778, he was with him during the Battle of Monmouth (Lockhart 162) and helped him with his proposal for the inspector’s office (Lockhart 177). On the 25th of September he was given the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and appointed Inspector for the troops of South Carolina and Georgia.
Major Barber
Francis Barber was appointed a sub-inspector on the 28th of March 1778, alongside Ternant as well as Davis & Brooks. Why Steuben included Barber on his list but not Davis or Brooks is a mystery to me.
Colonel Fleury
Col. François-Louis Teissèdre de Fleury was a French officer who had joined the Continental Army in 1777. (Lockhart 106) He met Steuben at Valley Forge and on the 27th April 1778 he was appointed a Sub-Inspector and was ordered to “attend the Baron Stuben ’till Circumstances shall admit of assigning him a Division of the Army—”
Fleury worked on the Blue Book with Steuben in Nov 1778-April 1779. Fleury’s work on the Blue Book was invaluable to Steuben. The Baron proposed that he should be paid $1000 for his work. In comparison Steuben recommended $4000 for himself, $600 for Walker, $500 for L’Enfant and $400 for Du Ponceau. When Congress refused to pay this Fleury who was in debt considered returning to France. When Steuben explained this to Henry Laurens, he responded “I shall be very sorry for it.” This angered Steuben who retorted “Then I shall go home. I will not stay.” The Baron’s never forgave Henry Laurens for this. He was angry that Henry Laurens would send back officers who had come to defend his country. (Lockhart 198-199) It seems that the group were eventually paid as Du Ponceau comments in is autobiography that he got his $400 “in addition to my pay.”
On the 15th of June 1779 Fleury was appointed commander of a light infantry battalion.
Lieutenant Colonel N. Fish
Nicholas Fish was a appointed a brigade inspector in June 1779. Washington was concerned he would decline due to his health but it seem he accepted the appointment.
Other
Major De Romanai
I’m at a slight loss as to who Major De Romanai was. I wonder if it is possible this is a misreading and this may have been François Adrien de Romanet. When the Baron first arrived in Boston he had befriended two men and requested that they be appointed his aide-de-camp, one of these men was Pierre Charles L’Enfant and the other was François Adrien de Romanet. (Lockhart 67) Romanet however decided to return to France and left Boston on the 12 of March 1778.(Lockhart 307) However Kapp writes that Romanai “accompanied [Steuben] to America, and soon after his arrival was employed in another department;” so perhaps these were two different men.
Colonel Meade
It seems that this was probably Richard Kidder Meade, however it also could have been his bother Everard Meade.
Richard Kidder Meade had left Washington’s staff in October 1780 to return to Virginia and marry Mary Fitzhugh Grymes Randolph. When Arnold invaded Virginia in 1781 Jefferson wrote Meade asking him to join the Baron in defence of their state and that “Such a Gentleman he would propose to consider as of his Family.” Meade “joined the Baron about the time the Enemy left Richmond in order to render him all the aid I could being intimately acquainted with the Country for many miles in the vicinity of the Enemy”. However "on their return down the river I left him to go in pursuit of a residence for a favorite Brother who was driven from his home & obliged to attend to his Wife & a family of little children.”
In April 1781 Steuben wanted a cavalry of 200 to be formed in Virginia. The Council of the State of Virginia advised Tomas Jefferson “to write to Colo. Everard Meade and some other gentlemen of activity and influence requesting them to raise a body of volunteer Cavalry agreeable to the Baron’s request”. Interestingly enough the Baron included Everard in his 1781 will, he requested that his Nephew (who was his heir) to have “three Gold Snuff boxes of the value of Sixty Guineas each—with my picture in the lid of each box” made and given to “His Excellency General Washington, John Walker & Everard Meade Esqrs as a small token of the Friendship of esteem I had for them”.
On the 30th of January 1781, Thomas Jefferson wrote to John Banister, “I inclose you a letter from Colo. Meade, one of Baron Steuben’s aids”. It is unclear if this is Richard Kidder Meade or Everard Meade. One of the brothers was also apparently with the Baron at Point of Fork as he wrote to General Harrison on the 13th of December 1781 that “Colonel Meade” would bear witness of the “propriety of my conduct at the Point of Fork.”
Major Galvan, Major Villefranche & Lieutenant Colonel De La Lanyanté
Kapp writes that Galvan, Villefranche and De La Lanyanté “served as engineers under Steuben in the trenches of Yorktown.” While Galvan was at Yorktown and Villefranche was an engineer, I’m unsure if Galvan was an engineer and I cant place Villefranche at Yorktown. De La Lanyanté I cant place at all.
William Galvan “acted at the Seige of York as Division Inspector and performed the duty of Major of the Trenches to Major Genl Baron de Steuben.”
Jean-Louis-Ambroise, chevalier de Villefranche de Genton, was sent with Steuben to Canada in 1783.
Besides Kapp’s statement that De La Lanyanté served as an engineer under Steuben at Yorktown and Steuben’s inclusion of him on his list I can find no information about him.

What Lessons Will Be Learned from Godzilla: King of the Monsters?
Having had some time to really sit and consider things, I think I’ve narrowed down a few lessons I think Legendary will end up learning, for good or bad.  Now these aren’t the lessons I necessarily want Legendary, Warner Brothers, and Toho to learn from KOTM, but they’re the lessons I suspect they will learn:
No more "true fanboy" directors.  I suspect Dougherty is out of contention for Godzilla 3, while Jordan Vogt-Roberts or Brad Peyton are probably being considered instead (assuming G3 is happening, which personally I still believe is regardless of KOTM).
Less monsters, more humans.  G'14 and K:SI have less monster action minute-for-minute than KOTM but both were received far more warmly by critics and drew bigger audiences, so I suspect a general downsizing in scale compared to KOTM.  This will be doubly true if Godzilla vs. Kong already is a smaller scale movie, as many of us suspect, and performs better than KOTM.
Needing more and bigger named stars.  Of the three MonsterVerse films, KOTM is the one with the fewest big names attached.  While it's a good cast that people will recognize, the most well-known actors in it are Ken Watanabe, Charles Dance, and Millie Bobby Brown - and the latter two aren't exactly primary characters in the story.  Compare this with Bryan Cranston in G'14 (who basically is the main character for the first third) or the slew of well-known actors in K:SI (Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Samuel L. Jackson, and John C. Reilly).
Smaller scale movies overall.  I think we'll see Warner Brothers, in particular, pushing for the MonsterVerse to look more toward Rampage (which made $428M on a $120M budget) or The Meg ($530M on a $120M budget) - doing more with far less, much smaller budgets, much smaller scales.  I assume Godzilla 3 and Kong 2 will have budgets in the $120M to $140M range rather than the $160M to $190M that they've been in so far.  Which, honestly, probably isn't a bad idea.  If KOTM had been made on The Meg's budget or Rampage's budget, this would've been seen as a great opening weekend for it.
A lot of this is now contingent on Godzilla vs. Kong, though.  How is GvK received?  Is it a smaller scale film, more like K:SI or G’14, or another super-sized epic like KOTM?  Is the story and acting more to the critics’ and general audiences’ liking?  Further, what exactly has the plan been for the MonsterVerse post-GvK?  I’ve never believed GvK would be the end of it, if only because I presume, no matter what, Legendary will produce a Kong 2 and will do their best to lure Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, and John C. Reilly back to reprise their roles.  They’ve kept the cards very close to the vest so far, at what point do they plan on revealing what’s next?

The Packards were everywhere. Even in South Carolina
In my searching for more on the Packard family I stumbled upon a collection held by the South Carolina Historical Society. Titled "Packard family papers, 1823-1893," it has 60 items. [1] The collection is described partially as follows:
In 1818 Dr. Chilion Packard, a Charleston, S.C. physician, married Sarah Gordon Roulain (d. 1839), a widow with three children. The Packards, who later lived in Aiken, S.C., had two children of their own, one of whom was Sarah Olive. She married Alfred J. Davis in Murray County, Ga. in 1842, and their son was Charles C. Davis. A daughter of Alfred J. Davis, Tallulah Agnes Davis, married Peyton Phelps Barber. The Barber family moved to Texas in the late 1880s. Chilion Packard died in Murray County, Ga...Papers consist of correspondence and other items. A letter (1823) from Olive Packard in Plainfield (Mass.) to her brother Chilion Packard in Charleston (S.C.) expresses how he is missed and loved by his family and conveys family news. This letter includes a lengthy poem written by Olive concerning her friendship and love for her brother and lamenting their separation.
The rest of the description doesn't seem to relate to the Packards, at least not directly. So who is Dr. Chilion Packard and what Packards were living in South Carolina?
Note: This was originally posted on Apr. 6, 2018 on the main Packed with Packards WordPress blog (it can also be found on the Wayback Machine here). My research is still ongoing, so some conclusions in this piece may change in the future.
Other than the Packard who was a GOP governor in Louisiana after the Civil War (also see here), one website for family genealogy in Murray County, SC noted that
...Chilion Packard (1791-1851) was a medical doctor, trained in New England. Chilion Packard was born in Plainfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts on 17 March 1791, son of Revolution soldier Noah Packard (1752-1830) and Molly (Hamlen) Packard. Chilion Packard "went south" from Massachusetts to Charleston, SC by 1816, where he was apparently a doctor, taught school at Mt. Pleasant Academy according to archived Charleston Gazette newspaper advertisements of that era, and had a boot and shoe store in the early 1820's. In 1820 at Charleston, he was in "Commerce" and had the ten slaves from the estate of his wife's deceased first husband. Chilion Packard married Sarah (Gordon) Roulain (1786-1839) in Charleston on 4 Dec. 1818, by Rev. Aaron W. Leland, Pastor of the First (Scots) Presbyterian Church...By 1828, Chilion and Sarah Packard, with three children, left Charleston and moved to Pickens District, SC, where Chilion Packard was a merchant and is in the 1830 Pickens Census...Before 1842, Chilion Packard and daughter, Sarah Olive, moved to Pleasant Valley in Murray County, Georgia, where Sarah Olive Packard married A.J. Davis on August 16, 1842, by William P. Swanson, a Baptist minister and cabinet maker...Dr. Chilion Packard died at Pleasant Valley, Georgia on 6 Feb. 1851, according to the A.J. and Sarah O. Davis Bible.
More about this topic will be added in time. I am also glad to get this comment from my cousin, Rosi:
I like the symmetry of Robert Byron Mills III’ grandson Burkely Mills Hermann being the one to continue so much of this family research work. Great job, Burkely. Also, this makes me want to go back to Charleston for a visit to get a look at these newly-found materials. Greetings to any of my Packard cousins reading this!
Thanks!
