god, wesley and cordelia's friendship really gets me.

it's crazy that i can be so emotional over a friendship that started with wesley getting all creepy over an 18 year old cordelia, but i actually think it's cute that after an initial infatuation with each other and then realizing they had no romantic chemistry, they become such good friends.

they have such a fun banter. i'm currently giggling over the scene in waiting in the wings where cordy is lamenting being single and talking about how "the only action i get is from a ghost who's very good with a loofah." ignoring the implications about dennis and cordy's relationship there, am i the only one who finds it adorable how wesley immediately pretends he didn't hear anything when he realizes cordy is feeling awkward about letting that loofah detail slip?? how he covers for her when angel overhears?? they have such a fun and playful friendship and these little moments reveal just how well they know each other. and cordy is the first person to notice wesley's feelings for fred!! he feels comfortable confiding in her!! ahhhh

now i'm also remembering how in you're welcome, the last thing cordy says to the group is pointed at wesley:

"You guys go ahead. We'll catch up. Oh, and Wesley? You still work the best mojo in town."

she specifically wants her final words to wesley to be special! she knows she can't stay here on earth and she wants wes and angel to know she believes in them!! because that's her best friend and the guy she loves.

It was a typical Saturday night at the Anderson farm, with Ruth fussing over everyone to come and eat, all the while James instructed Tommy in trying to beat Wesley at chess, and Beau continued flipping through the channels on the old, floor model tv.

Coop, who had previously been watching cartoons with Beau, stood up to move across the room and settle beside Anna.

"Your eyes are always watching him, ya know?" he said, grinning as if he were the only one in the world who knew their secret.

"Are they?" Anna asked, barely glancing away from Wesley to look at Coop. "I hadn't noticed."

Coop laughed. "Of course you haven't."
