I am so excited to have submitted my piece for The Case of the Year Ahead (the DBDA Charity Pride Calendar), and am thrilled and honored to have been able to contribute!

The calendar is currently planned to launch on June 23rd (so soon!)

There are so many incredible pieces, and so much talent and love and care that has been put into this project — I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to this!

Sketches from the Slashfic Calendar Project!

Unfortunately, due to the fallout of the prior arguments on the Dorian discord and the way the writers of Slashfic refuse to hear out their audience. From balantly stealing money from how Romancing a Slasher was handled to the horrible misrepresentation of NATIVE LATINOS, and balant queer baiting and fujioshi NONSENSE. I can no longer support Slashfic.

I still adore the characters, but I won't be drawing anything for Slashfic anymore. Any Slashfic art I do end up posting is months old! I hope you all can still find enjoyment in the art.

Love that Adrien put his foot down and said, "No, Marinette. If you made plans with your friends, you need to spend time with your friends, not try to cram them and me together. You said it's a girls night and I'm not a girl, I'm not coming to that." Like she really needs someone to give her a hard reality check and tell her that she needs to get her priorities straight, not try to have the best of both worlds every second of the day.

One thing I will never understand as someone who is very ADHD is how many other people with ADHD are like "I could never use a planner, planners don't work for me. I hate when neurotypicals say "just get a planner!"*

Like we have the "easily forget things" disorder and you don't wanna write things down??? Idk how you think you're going to cope with that but I, personally, must have a list of some kind. If it's not written out it doesn't exist to me. Why is there some community driven idea that we cannot use planners/to-do lists because of our ADHD? A planner is like, literally the most basic coping mechanism for the disorder.

I genuinely don't know what else you can do to remember a list of tasks other than write them down somehow. Are you guys just like, trying to convince your brains to be better at memory or something?

GUYS I'm need to know how you all see the calendar in your mind brain.

I see it as this suspended-in-air disk that floats at my eye level, of which i stand in the middle of.

It's split up into sections, and the section I'm facing/looking at is the current month.

When the month changes, the disk shifts to the left to show the new month.

Thoughts?

Y'all I just watched Jaiden Animations' video about learning she has ADHD and man... some of that stuff just hit me hard. The having to tie yourself down to work, the being relatively okay in school until college, the wondering if a doctor would just say, "It's a you problem, go away"—geez that resonated. I'm glad she finally got a diagnosis and Adderall and learned how to work best with herself though! I hope things start to turn out better for her as time goes on

3 years ago today (2 days ago), i was banished (forced to update my phone).

i lost it all (IOS 17).

i want it back (photos app layout).

i want my honor (old photos app layout).

my throne (photos app before IOS 18).

i want my father (Apple) not to think i’m worthless (keep changing the layout of perfectly good apps).
