Ling Wen is new heavenly emperor and I ensure you she is as overworked as ever, but she does not care about heavenly officials marrying calamities anymore. First was YQY, and then Jun Wu. Xie Lian and Shi Qingxuan are really not trendstarters here.

Obsessed with Courtney’s tattoo because it’s one of those rare occasions where the diacritical mark (قُ) is included but that the two dots above the (ه) are not. It should be (ة)

It’s honestly not a big deal but it definitely catches my eyes every time I see it. I wonder if someone ever told her lol.

Because while it obviously means kiss, the lack of the dots makes the pronunciation funny and kinda meaningless

Same with Selena’s Arabic tattoo lacking the diacritical marks which makes the reading of it sound dreadful because you can gauge what she’s trying to say but a singular Arabic word has multiple meanings that change according to the markings that it can feel silly sometimes.

She has أحب which is plainly ‘I love’ or it can be read differently according to any context but ْأَحِب means love as a command verb which what she was going for.

Both tattoos rely on context rather than pronunciation and grammatical accuracy, which I don’t believe to be something wrong especially for non-Arabic speakers.

It’s just me being picky over this details over Arabic grammar and linguistics because I just really love that kinda stuff and if I ever get a tattoo of an Arabic phrasing, I will not be caught slipping!!

Something that gets lost in translation is Kinshiro using the softer boku instead of the grandiose ware in his "we"s here. It's his usual pronoun of choice in informal or personal situations. Being true to himself, asserting himself (and by extension, them all) as separate and different from the would-be conquerors they used to be, even in how he refers to their group.

Sans's Character: Cursive

Heh, every time I draw the Sans of this universe his hood gets just a little bit fluffier. Soon it will take over and he'll just be a little floof-ball. Man, with no one else around, you can't tell how short Cursive is.

The first appearance of my "living skeleton modifier" homebrew! I literally looked up what percentage of a human's weight was the skeleton so I could put down a good weight for Cursive (though I doubled it to make the bones denser and less brittle because I didn't want living skeletons to be weak to bludgeoning damage like D&D skeletons are, it's a whole thing, you probably don't want to hear it). Plus I gave him "undead similarities" which is beneficial, but I really should figure out some sort of weakness skeletons have because it's no fun to have someone be too awesome just because you wanted an aesthetic change. Maybe I can give a weakness to radiant damage or turn undead?

Sans's laziness and love of practical jokes made it a lot easier for me to choose what spells are in his spellbook. He doesn't have a lot of offensive spells though... but he's definitely prepared ways to avoid a fight.

Against my better judgement I’ve acquired two new books from Ollie’s: Coriolanus by William Shakespeare and Empire Games by Charles Stross (which I didn’t know was a series when I got it lol whoopsie… I usually don’t read series; but this is classic-style dystopian sci-fi with time travel so it’s a little different).

I'm kind of frustrated that I'm learning only now that I actually really like my handwriting if I'm using my "my handwriting is illegible otherwise so I write in all caps block comic lettering" and I use a brush

What is this blog?

So, back in March 2025, @elodieunderglass ran a little event where, if you completed a creative project of some description by the end of the month, Killie would get one whole egg!

This surpassed all expectations, and Killie ended up getting over one hundred and fifty eggs by the time March ended, and we got some very good artwork indeed, and also spent a not-insignificant amount of time considering how Killie would use that many eggs.

So, now, it's back, in the form of a dedicated blog, so that Elodie's followers don't get bombarded by eggs. It's not ran by @elodieunderglass, but, it is done with official permission, and even with official art for the profile picture and banner!

So far, we have given Killie fourteen eggs, and counting!

Who is Killie?

Killie is @elodieunderglass's original character.

He's an angry little racehorse jockey with an unfortunate psychic connection to his rancid racehorse frenemy (O Holy Thunder), a redemption-arc relationship with his nice nerdy boyfriend (Derek), an elusive twin brother (Charlie) and a messy, rambling family of horse-obsessed weirdos who are overly-invested in the fascinating, complex, dirty, problematic and unhinged world of horse racing.

He is a short athletic ginger jock like an angry little wet cat, who is always getting injured, and we love him for this.

How do I get Killie an egg?

You send an ask, containing a description of the creative work you are embarking on. If you're on anon, you must also include your url, so we can make sure you see it when your ask is posted.

That ask then gets to replied to, thirty days later, and you reblog that with the results of your creative project, which we in turn reblog!

What counts for Killie to get an egg?

Strictly speaking, art, however, we make no attempt to define what "art" actually is, drawing, painting, writing, music, calligraphy, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Basically, anything goes.

Why should I do any of this?

For two reasons, first, accountability, some people work better with a deadline, and, if you are one of those people, want said deadline to be exactly thirty days, and also themed around a fictional jockey getting an egg, then, you've come to the right place.

Second, recognition, no matter what, you know that your art is seen by, at the very least, me, and also some portion of this blog's followers.
