Okay, to balance out my rant about the dumplings/broth recipe, here’s a really really good recipe also from Half-Baked Harvest. I made this twice over the holidays and it was a hit! The dijon dressing is delicious, so I doubled it each time I made it to use on other salads later. The homemade candied pecans were also super easy and tasty.

No hard mods here, but I did appreciate using more pecans, less cayenne (seriously), bacon instead of prosciutto (it’s what I had), anything but shredded kale for the greens, and dried spices (more convenient!).

I’ve made Candied Pecans before but I saw this one first on Tiktok and this works so much better. I usually make this only during the holidays as this is not for the health conscious but boy! It is so delicious and tastes so much better than those overpriced…
