"Told you so..." - Part 9

Since tumblr doesn't let me post it privately I need to share it publicly, but feel free to scroll through the content, since this is just for our own amusement. ;)

As soon as the two former prisoners exited the small chamber, a swarm of guards descended the stairs, attempting to corner the pirates. Helga and Yujo swiftly assumed their fighting positions, ready to defend themselves, while Buggy took a step back, confident that he now had enough capable fighters around him to protect him. Crocodile, wearing a knowing smile, understood that he had nothing to fear, as he could once again use the power of his abilities.

Before Helga and Yujo could even react, the former warlord unleashed a powerful sandstorm, effortlessly sweeping the guards aside and clearing a path for them to ascend.

"Let's continue," Crocodile stated dryly, and the other three nodded in admiration.

"As soon as we're out of here, let's split up again and leave this arrogant sand-man and his water girl behind," Buggy whispered to Helga, still feeling uneasy with Crocodile's presence. They glanced at Yujo, who happily jumped alongside them, seemingly content just to be out of the prison cell.

"You mentioned that you're a captain as well?" Helga asked Yujo, now walking beside her.

"Yes, I'm the captain of the Aqua Pirates! I'm sure you've heard of us!" Yujo replied enthusiastically.

"Absolutely!" Helga lied, not wanting to dampen the girl's spirits.

"And how did you end up here?" Buggy inquired, his curiosity piqued.

"I had a bit too much to drink and ended up getting ambushed. Once we escape, I'm determined to find my crew again!" Yujo replied, her voice filled with newfound hope.

Buggy seemed satisfied with her answer. Compared to the intimidating presence of Crocodile, this girl appeared less daunting, making Buggy consider the possibility of extending their partnership for a while longer.

"What about you two?" Yujo asked, her gaze shifting towards Buggy and Helga with genuine curiosity.

Buggy's mind drifted back to the day they were captured—a memory of being in a local inn, locked away in a room, consumed by their desires. They had indulged in drinks after a successful raid, enjoying a banquet with their entire crew. Helga had become tipsy after three glasses of wine, and as the evening progressed, Buggy had carried her upstairs. His girlfriend was filled with a passionate fever, ignited by the exhilarating day. Upon entering their private room, she showered him with kisses, eagerly pushing him toward the bed.

"I want you," she had whispered breathlessly, and Buggy willingly surrendered, allowing her to take control as he reclined on the bed. Helga slowly undressed herself and then him, her actions filled with an intoxicating mix of desire and affection.

As he sat on the bed, gazing into her captivating blue eyes and gently holding her fiery red hair, Buggy realized that there could never be anyone he would love more than her. "Your drive me crazy, sweet cheeks..!", he had whispered.

However, before she could get her sweet mouth to work, both Buggy and Helga heard shouts emanating from downstairs. In a matter of seconds, a battalion of marines barged into the inn, catching them off guard. Buggy found himself rendered powerless as they swiftly clamped sea stone shackles around his wrists.

Partially undressed and partially still horny, they were forcefully taken aboard a marine ship, unable to identify the whereabouts of their crew.

"We were also ambushed during a sea raid!" Helga swiftly lied, noticing her captain's blush at the memory and realizing Yujo was still awaiting their response.

"Those damn marines, too afraid to face us head-on in a fair fight!" Yujo retorted, being outraged over the fact that these two pirates seemed to share her fate. 

In the midst of their chat, the trio failed to notice a group of additional guards blocking the staircase to Level 4. Suddenly, gunfire erupted, and Buggy swiftly detached his arms, pushing Helga out of harm's way and using his own body as a shield to protect her. However, Yujo was not as quick to react. A bullet narrowly missed her, and as she attempted to dodge, a guard swung a bat at her, sending her hurtling backward into the stone wall of the staircase.

For a brief moment, she saw stars, feeling overwhelmed and defenseless. She thought that this was the end, but then, unexpectedly, a sandstorm lifted her from the ground, carrying her away from the danger. The guards, unwary, crashed forcefully into the wall, their attempt to catch Yujo met with the unyielding force of the barrier.

In a display of his devil fruit powers, Crocodile had transformed into his sand form, swiftly lifting Yujo and transporting her to the other side of the staircase. He held her securely in his strong arms, his cold eyes contrasting with the warmth of his embrace.

"You seem to have a taste for living dangerously, Missy," he remarked, his voice laced with a hint of amusement, as he held her close.

Yujo's face flushed with a mix of fear and bewilderment, overwhelmed by Crocodile's unexpected display of kindness. "I thought you were the type of person who didn't care about others...!" she whispered, her voice barely audible, as he gently placed her back on the stairs.

"In general, that is true," he chuckled, taking a puff from his cigar. Seizing the opportunity amidst the chaos and confusion, he swiftly rendered the remaining guards unconscious with another wave of his hand. Crocodile created an invisible sand barrier, enveloping Yujo and himself, shielding them from the prying eyes of those around them. Then, with an assertive motion, he grasped Yujo's head, surprising her with a forceful kiss on her unsuspecting lips. She gasped in shock, but soon found herself leaning into the kiss, a mixture of excitement and uncertainty filling her senses.

As the kiss concluded and the sandstorm subsided, Crocodile smiled at her once more. "I knew you would enjoy that...!" he remarked, his words laced with a hint of satisfaction.

Luffy, Zoro and Sanji with a reader new crewmate that is secretary a fairy, and finds out because feel the wings after a hug.

Hi! I hope you are doing well. To be honest with you, I did my research for this by looking at the Pixie Hollow series of books and movies lol. I hope you like it because I really had so much fun!

Luffy:

You and Luffy needed to sneak into a marine base to help your new fairy friend, Cordelia escape from captivity.  She had the power to heal wounds using water and control any amount of water that was around her.  You were new to the Strawhats, but they didn’t know that Cordelia was your sister and you were a water fairy as well.  You had been hiding your wings from them for about 2 months now.  You were afraid that they’d try to use you the same way the world government wanted to use your sister.  You had finally found your sister.  “Cordelia,” you exclaimed, "come on, it's time to go.”  She grabbed your hand and followed you and Luffy.  When you got to the edge of the base, you didn’t know how you were going to get back to the ship that was now sailing away. 

“Gomu Gomu,” Luffy said as he stretch right arm, encapsulating you and Cordelia in his arms.  Oh no, you thought, he’s going to find out!

“SLINGSHOT,” he yelled as the three of you shot through the air and onto the Merry.  When you arrive back on the ship you tan to your room, not coming out for the rest of the day.

Later that night, everyone had retreated to bed. Everyone except for you.  You walked to the head of the ship and you noticed someone sitting on the head, it was Luffy.  The one person you were avoiding.  You walked up near the head.  You knew you had to face this sometime.

“Hi Captain,” you said sheepishly.

“Hey Y/N.  You okay?  I have a question?”

You swallowed, “Sure, what’s up?”  You were definitely sweating now, afraid he was going to use your powers or worse, abandon you.

“What were those things on your back?  If you have a rash or something you should probably see Chopper.”

“Luffy…” you said.  You knew you had to tell him.  You took off your jacket that you always wear to hide your wings,  “I’m a water fairy.”

The coat fell to the ground revealing translucent aqua wings that had hints of a dark royal blue outlining them.  Luffy’s eyes widened.  “That’s so cool.  But why didn’t you show us a few months ago when you joined? That's amazing!”

“I was afraid you’d use me or abandon me like everyone else does,” you said,sniffing and tearing up as you looked at your straw hat wearing captain.

“Why’d we do that?  You’re my nakama,” he replied putting his straw hat on top of your head in hopes of cheering you up.

You looked at him wide eyed, “Really?”

“Of course.”

You hugged him and cried happy tears, soaking his red vest shirt thing.  “Thank you Luffy,” you said before breaking away from his hug.  This felt like such a beautiful moment.

“Can I ask you something, Y/N?”

You smiled, “Sure.”  

“Do fairies poop?” he asked, officially ruining the moment.

Zoro:

“I’m sorry sir, I’m in a happy relationship,” you said to the drunken stranger.  This man kept flirting with you for what felt like hours.  No matter how many times you told him to buzz off he just wouldn’t.  You were hoping that this lie would get him to.

“I’ll leave you alone,” he said, “if you can introduce me to the lucky person.”

You started to sweat profusely, staining your heather gray tank.  You looked around the bar, hoping maybe Sanji was there when all of a sudden Zoro walks up and hugs you. Thank goodness. Wait, oh shit, you thought.

“Hey babe.  Sorry, I’m late, I just got caught up with some business,” Zoro told you, making sure the man could see his swords on his hip.  “Is this guy giving you trouble?”  He smirked at the man.  You know that smirk he has when he’s ready to slice someone in half.

“I’m sorry sir.  Wow, you know, look at the time.  I better get home, it's getting late,” the man said nervously.  He ran, well more like stumbled out of the bar and away from you and Zoro.  

“I owe you one Zoro,” you told him while sipping your drink.

“No problem Y/N.  You’re not used to pirate life yet.  You can’t fight or intimidate anyone.  You looked like you needed help.”

You looked down at the bar counter.  You had just joined the Strawhats a few weeks ago as a botanist.  Your dream was to collect plants from every island you visited and create a garden containing plants from all over the world.  Chopper thought that was impossible since plants needed all different climates to grow but he didn’t know your power.

“Can you tell me what the hell is up with your back?  It feels like you have wings or something,” Zoro said bluntly.

Your eyes widened.  He must have felt them when he hugged you.  You grabbed his hand and ram out of the bar and into the alley right next to the bar.

“Zoro, can you keep a secret?”

“Of course Y/N,”

You closed your eyes.  All of a sudden, your wings start to grow out of your back.  Zoro’s eye (yes eye)  widened and his mouth dropped open.  He had heard of fairies but never really believed in stuff like that.  That was until he saw his new crew mate with wings covered in roses in different shades of pink with green leaves and thorns intertwining in them.

“Plant fairy?  So that’s why you want to collect all those plants.  You know you can keep them alive in any climate cause you can control the conditions for each plant.”

“I thought you didn’t believe in stuff like that,” you questioned the moss head sarcastically.

“I didn’t but I was clearly wrong.”

“Are you mad?  Do you hate me? Do you think Luffy will kick me off the crew?”  You looked down at the ground.  You were scared that they would leave you because they were your family even in the few weeks you’ve known them.

“No, why?” Zoro laughed, causing you to relax and look up at him, “seriously, we have a singing skeleton and a talking reindeer doctor.  Luffy doesn’t care what you are.  None of us do, your nakama and that means you're stuck with us.”

You smiled widely and hugged the swordsman.  Your eyes locked with his before a familiar sound interrupted you two, “Come on it’s the straw hat.”

You both laughed in unison, “Guess we have to save our captain,” you said, “does this happen on every island?”

Zoro exhaled, “sadly yes.” With that, Zoro started running while you started flying in the direction of your captain (well Zoro did get lost).

Sanji:

“Sanji,” you said to the chef of your new crew as you sat in the kitchen while he washed dishes, “ how would you feel if I was, let's say, a fairy?”

He turned around from the sink to face you.  He walked over and gave you a hug.  “ oh Y/N! I’d still love you and find you beautiful and…”. He broke the hug and looked at you confused.  He hugged you again.  “Are you trying to tell me something?” He asked, looking at you with such compassion.  “You can tell me anything.”

“Sanji, I’m a fairy.  I’m a healing fairy.  I know you probably…” your words were cut off by him kissing you.  His lips were soft but his hands were rough, you could feel the cuts on his hands on your cheeks.  He was extremely gentle. After a few seconds, he broke away.  You sat looking into his blue eyes, the same blue as the sea you were sailing on and just as easy to get lost in.  “I’d never hate.  I love you,” he looked down at his feet, “I know we haven’t known each other long.  I mean you just met a few weeks ago but…I just know.”  He looked at you again, this time it was his turn to get lost in your sparkling (e/c) orbs.

“Do you want to see my wings?”

“Only if you are comfortable, my love.”

You stood up and closed your eyes.  As you did, a pair of beautiful gold wings appeared on your back.  They sparkled like treasure and looked like a stained glass window of different shades of gold.  You grabbed his hands and a golden light shined around his hands.  The light disappeared after a few sends and his once cut up hands were perfectly healed and soft.  He looked up at you and smiled softly.  You smiled back happy to let your secret out.

“Since we’re sharing secrets, can I share one with you?” He asked nervously.

“Of course, you accepted me and my secret.  I’ll do the same with you.”

“I’m a prince, but my father was…abusive you could save.  I ran away and ended up here.”

He looked down, now crying.  The memories of his terrible childhood flashed in his mind.  You grabbed his cheeks and made him look up at you.  This time you kissed him in the same way he kissed you earlier.

“I don’t care where you came from, Sanji.  I’m just happy you came to me now. I guess we’re boyfriend and girlfriend now.  That works for you my love?”

Sanji grabbed his nose as it started to bleed and his eyes turned into hearts.  He passed out on the floor of the kitchen.

“I’ll take that as a yes, my prince,” you laughed to yourself bending down to heal your now unconscious simp of a boyfriend.

Chapter 12: Requested

Thanks to the eternal log poses you nearly sacrificed your sight for, the Kid Pirates were able to move through the first half of the Grand Line as they pleased. Much to your dismay however, 'as they pleased' seemed to be systematically checking out every single island they could find. Including ones that weren't the current destination.

You knew the Grandline wasn't 100% mapped out, but you were surprised at every little scrap of rock Eustass was able to find and impressed by his general curiosity. Once the Captain's curiosity was sated, and the stores were refilled, the crew was off to the next location. The Kid Pirates relaxed by being on the seas, and you were starting to think you were the only one who still preferred dry land.

Weeks of traveling with the crew passed by and you realized a few things. One of your initial assumptions about the Kid Pirates was correct – they weren't the terrors that the Marines and the Government had made them out to be. They weren't saints, not by any stretch of the word, but you left a lot of villages intact, and one time the crew helped rebuild a town that had been destroyed by a squall that had tore through just before you had all arrived. The only time things went sour was when someone from outside the crew started something.

The crew was, during those events, merciless.

One day you were looking through the eternal log poses and seeing if there were any for places you didn't know anything about. You got through most of them when you came across the eternal pose for Water 7 and were reminded of a conversation from weeks ago when you had utilized Trafalgar Law's ability and freaked everyone out.

You took off from the storage room and found the Captain and Killer talking. You tossed the log pose toward Kid and smiled as he caught it without looking – his observation haki was finally improving.

"What's up, brat?" He asks, looking at the eternal pose.

"We need to go there."

"Water 7's the shipwright island, isn't it?" Killer tilts his head. "We've got Boogie, Reck and Kid, we don't need a shipwright."

"You're not wrong, but Water 7 also has a scrap island. It's so big it survives the yearly Aqua Laguna. The residents don't exactly hang out there, so it's a good place to see how much I can push Kid's devil fruit ability." You explain. "Plus, the city itself is just cool. They're okay with pirates so long as you don't go berserk on 'em, and even if you don't need repairs, Galley-La's a sight worth the price of renting a few bulls."

"How do you know so much about Water 7?" Kid asks, setting the pose on the table.

"It's near Guanhao." You admit and your face darkens. "Guanhao's where they train CP kids. I guess while we're on the topic I'd like to request we don't ever go there."

"Request?"

"Well, I can't order you, Captain," you admit with a smile that's bright compared to your earlier expression. "But I still stand by my original sentiment."

"Better a pirate than dead, and better dead than caught." Kid muses, remembering your first day on the ship. "Sure thing, brat. So long as Paradise doesn't slam us into Guanhao on its own, we won't go there."

"And Water 7?"

"You and Killer can get us on course," Kid stretches. "An island full of scrap sounds like a good place for most of the crew."

Sending both you and Killer to get the ship on course was Kid's way of dismissing Killer for the day and letting the two of you have time together. You had heard him yelling at his friend one day about how the whole crew knew the two of you were together, and why in the hell was Killer there with Kid and not with you.

Killer had explained that you both had agreed that your loyalty to the captain had to come first. Ever since then, Eustass Kid, scourge of the seas, was proving to you that he was really just the biggest, softest ball of rage to ever sail the seas. Not that you were ever going to say it to his face, you liked staying on the ship.

You slipped your hands into Killer's as you made your way through the ship. The gentle returned squeeze was enough to make you smile. You marveled at how much softness you had found in a man named Killer. How much kindness that slipped from someone whose face was only shown to you.

"Do you have night watch?" Killer asks.

"Mm, not tonight. I'm not back on the rotation for another few days. We'll be in Water 7 before it's my turn again." You swing his arm back and forth with a little more energy than needed. "Trying to make plans, or something?"

"A little." He takes over your oversized arm swinging and twirls you around before holding onto your hand again. "You'll have to behave though."

You chuckle quietly. "I'm not sure how you mean that."

"I had some slightly different things in mind," Killer says, leaning down and kissing you. This is a very special box that every human captain should have with him. To entertain Strangers Marmalade, Suckets, Almonds Comfits and such like”.

Captain Smith goes on to justify providing such niceties to the crew, providing himself an exceptionally humane leader in an era when most were not known for such qualities.

" Some will say I would have men rather to feast than to fight. But I say the want of these necessaries occasions the loss of more men than any English Fleet hath been slain since 88. For when a man is ill, or at the point of death, I would know whether a dish of buttered Rice with a little Cynamon, Ginger and Sugar, a little minced meat, or rost Beef, a few stew’d Prunes, a race of green Ginger, a Flap- Jack, a Kan of fresh water brewed with a little Cynamon and Sugar be not better than a little poor John, or salt fish, with Oil and Mustard, or Bisket, Butter, Cheese, or Oatmeal potage on Fish dayes, or on Flesh days, Salt, Beef Pork and Pease, with six shillings beer, this is your ordinary ship’s allowance, and good for them are well of well conditioned which is not alwayes as Seamen can witnesse. And after a storme, when poor men are all wet, and some have not so much as a cloth to shift them, shaking with cold, few of those but will tell you a little sack of Aqua- vitae is much better to keep them in health, than a little small Beer, or cold water although it be sweet. Now that every one should provide for himself, few of them have either that providence or means, and there is neither Ale-house, Tavern nor Inne to burn a faggot in, neither Grocer, Poulterer, Apothcary nor Butcher’s Shop, and therefore the use of this petty Tally is necessary, and thus to be employed as there is occasion.”

As well-intentioned as Smith's advice was, not everyone followed it or even tried to establish something like it on board.

Marine hcs??

AHOY! HoloFantasy as a whole give me such massive insane brainrot and Marine especially I love, so I actually have... a lot of them. This is a little longer than my other headcanon posts so I'll throw it under the cut below:

Backstory HCs:

Growing up on tales of pirate adventures, becoming one herself became Marine's lifelong dream, always dressing up and pretending to be a captain with glory and gold and girlfriends.

At the age of 17 - wearing nothing but a pirate costume - she started her sailing life by hopping onto a random ship and pretending to be the captain... despite knowing nothing about sailing. Let's just say she was booted super quickly.

Instead, she resorted to earning money and gathering a crew of her own by working at the same seaside tavern as Aqua, saving enough money for a ship and befriending a number of the tavern's daily seafaring visitors.

Eventually, she splurged all her (and the tavern's) money on a ship, promising to pay back the borrowed funds from "the treasure [she] will find."

Insert the events of the UMISEA here, because funny as it is, it's genuinely a decent adventure story that I do accept as Marine canon (and I do also have headcanon interpretations of the events of the series tucked away somewhere)

After parting ways with Gura and Ina after their adventures, Marine and Aqua sailed together for a while (Aqua mostly reluctantly going along because Marine HAD just put her out of a job by spending all their money on the first ship), but they made sure to pick up their ex-taverngoers this time, forming the first members of the Houshou Pirates; Aqua later said goodbye to the crew to go hang out with a certain kusogaki witch that they met on their adventures, having gotten out of her shell just a little bit thanks to Marine. The two still meet up every once in a while.

Marine went from completely clueless regarding sailing to becoming a competent captain, thanks to lots of trial and error, as well as support from her loyal crew, charmed by her humor and personality (as well as. well. y'know what Marine's like).

They eventually went on to establish themselves as pirates of great renown, ones to be either greatly respected or feared, depending on who you were.

Marine w/Holofantasy HCs:

Rushia was the first of the group Marine met. While Rushia was dismissive of Marine at first, wanting to be left alone in her domain and repeatedly threatening to kill Marine, she couldn't bring herself to do it, too enraptured by the pirate's flirting and how annoying she was and how she kept visiting her, until she gave in to Marine's insisting to go see the world with her. Totally not because she liked her or anything.

Marine's first encounter with Noel and Flare consisted of her flirting with Flare, Noel showing up to passive-aggressively say that Flare's "not interested" (read: already taken), and Marine immediately proceeding to flirt with Noel instead. She did offer to sail them to the place they wanted to go, though, so they did accept that offer; by the time the quest had ended, they'd become much closer. Marine still frequently tries to get in their pants, however. Not to anyone's surprise.

Pekora was the last of the team Marine met; her crew had stopped over at Pekoland to do trade, but when they sailed off, Marine found that the literal princess of Pekoland had stowed away because she was "bored." What started as Pekora using Marine and her crew as a means of carrying out her own "business opportunities" (and ironically acting more pirate than the actual pirates) eventually became a genuine friendship, though they definitely still frequently squabble and playfully fight.

The five frequently go on quests and adventures together, travelling the land and challenging great dangers, and often it does not go well, but ultimately works out in the end thanks to dumb luck or some miracle or one of them finally using the one braincell they share together.

Marine has actually died before. However, when Calli came to reap her soul, Rushia intervened. Calli was less annoyed by this (being acquainted with the necromancer despite her violation of natural death) and more skeptical because while Rushia was sorting it out, Marine's soul was busy thirsting over Calli's... assets.

(calli voice) "This one. Are you sure. Her????" (rushia voice) "yes I know please don't ask she's always like this"

In spite of Marine's constant flirting and bragging about sleeping around, she truly does love and care for her (girl)friends, and is surprisingly clingy when it comes to them.

Misc HCs:

The Houshou Pirates are a crew of song. One of the first things they'll ask you if you want to join is "what songs do you know." Shanties and sea ballads are common and encouraged, regardless of whether you're in tune or not.

Pretty much all the Houshou Pirates are on a super similar wavelength. Marine could go "ayo there's some hot sirens over there let's GET IT LADIES" and more than half will agree without question, partially out of loyalty but also because they agree. damn sirens hot. There are raging fruity pirates everywhere. They're competent when it counts, though, and care about Marine to a fault.

Marine flirts with her crew frequently, sometimes really popping off with how yabe she gets with them. Some of them become total messes, others go "haha that's funny Senchou" while some straight up turn the tables on her. However, they all know their boundaries because DAMN Marine is 100% in love with the rest of HoloFantasy and damn them if they get in the way of their captain's happiness.

Marine likes to tell tales about how she got her heterochromia, but her friends and longest crewmates all know that she was just born with it.

Marine does have low physical stamina, but she makes up for this by her unpredictable nature when she's in a situation that calls for action. She's slippery in combat (if not because she's stumbling around, Drunken Fist-style), and if she doesn't have a cutlass or flintlock pistol, she's using her sharp tongue. In spite of this, she still relegates menial labor tasks to her crew and friends.

"Told you so..." - Part 7

This is a private ongoing fic just for me and @lostfirefly

Since tumblr doesn't let me post it privately I need to share it publicly, but feel free to scroll through the content, since this is just for our own amusement. ;)

Buggy's expression revealed his deep concern as he gazed at Helga. He leaned in, trying to keep their conversation private by pushing her behind the nearby pillar, shielding them from Crocodile and the girl at his side. "Sweety pie, I understand the appeal of their abilities, but we must think about this carefully," Buggy whispered urgently, his voice tinged with unease. "We're dealing with Crocodile here, and he's not someone we can trust under any circumstances."

Helga met Buggy's worried gaze with a mixture of frustration and worry. "But what other options do we have?" she countered, her voice filled with a sense of urgency. "We don't even know where our underwater escape route is. Maybe Crocodile can help us with that." Buggy's grip tightened on Helga's shoulders as he tried to remind her of their original plan. "Yes, but we can't forget that it was your idea to come down here in the first place. We still have that option if we can find it." Before Buggy could say more, Helga abruptly stood up and made her way back to the cell where Crocodile and the girl were waiting, leaving Buggy bewildered behind the pillar.

Crocodile, despite the gravity of their situation, maintained an air of amusement as he addressed the couple. "So, have you two lovebirds reached a decision?" he asked, his laughter lacing his words. "We came down here because we believed there was an underwater passage leading to Marineford. Do either of you know anything about this?" Helga asked eagerly, her anticipation palpable. "That's just a myth," Yujo replied, her voice now quieter as Crocodile released his hold on her. She stood a few meters away from him, her gaze meeting Helga's directly. "You probably read the Navy Chronicles, right?" Helga's eyes widened in surprise. "Yes, how did you know?" "I read it too," Yujo explained. "But it's all fake. The author wasn't even a marine. It was written by a creative pirate looking to make some extra money. So, the underground passage doesn't exist. The only way out of here is through the main entrance."

Buggy, who had been listening intently, reacted with a mix of anger and astonishment. "What? The underground passage isn't real? So, we have to go all the way back up, even after coming this far down?" He detached and reattached his body parts in frustration. "Well, it's good that you ended up down here," Yujo remarked. "As we mentioned earlier, if you free us, we can guide you out of this place." Buggy's gaze sharpened as he scrutinized the girl behind the bars. Trust didn't come easily to him, not just with Crocodile but also with this young and aggressive lady. He couldn't help but voice his doubts. "And who exactly are you again?" "My name is Yujo, captain of the Aqua Pirates. I have the power to control water. Out there, in these sea king-infested waters, my abilities could be very valuable," Yujo introduced herself, winking at Helga, hoping she understood the potential benefits they could gain from her powers. "One moment, please!" Buggy requested, pulling Helga back behind the pillar once again, as if replaying a scene from a poorly scripted movie. He sought her opinion, hoping to find a solution in private.

Helga took advantage of the moment and smiled mischievously, swiftly grabbing Buggy's face and planting a gentle kiss on his lips. As the kiss ended, Buggy stared at her in surprise. "Sorry!" she exclaimed, her smile still lingering. "I just felt like it. And now that you've met my needs, I can tell you that I still think we should free them." Buggy sighed, torn between frustration and affection for Helga. "You're the worst, and I hate how much I love you," he grumbled. "Take this situation seriously!" Helga wrapped her arms around him, looking into his eyes with earnestness. "Buggy, she's a water Logia user, and Crocodile has control over sand. They've paired them together so they can't harm each other. And at worst, they can neutralize each other while we make our escape. We should give it a try."

Buggy regarded Helga for a moment, his gaze softening. Her logic was sound, and he knew it. Reluctantly, he nodded. "Alright, let's do it. But we'll keep our guard up and make sure they stick to their word." She nodded at him and quickly pressed another kiss on his lips which he eagerly replied. “I am so going to ruin you when we get out of here, I promise that, sweet cheeks!”, he whispered in her ear and then stepped back in front of the cell where Crocodile and Yujo were eagerly waiting. 

"You can join us, but no tricks, and you'll be responsible for getting us out of here," Buggy stated firmly, his gaze fixed on Crocodile. "Escape is our intention as well, so that shouldn't be a problem," Crocodile responded in a dry tone. And then he added: "Retrieve the key from the guard you knocked over earlier. We need to act swiftly before he regains consciousness." "Already on it!" Helga exclaimed triumphantly, having swiftly obtained the key while Buggy was engaged in conversation. She shot her captain a victorious smile, basking in her own heroism. "You're the best, honey!" Buggy shouted in admiration, while Crocodile simply rolled his eyes.

Yujo, giving Crocodile a glance from the side, asked, "Do you think we can tolerate each other until we make it all the way up?" Crocodile smirked and replied, "Well, as long as neither of us starts behaving like them," indicating Buggy and Helga. At that very moment, the cell door silently clicked open. Yujo's green eyes sparkled as she leaped out of the cell, standing before their two helpers. Her hand transformed into water, reveling in the return of her full powers. Crocodile followed suit, subtly nodding at Helga as a gesture of gratitude. "Let's go to that chamber over there." Crocodile demanded, his tone leaving no room for negotiation.  "What's in there?" Buggy questioned, suspicion coloring his words, wary of any attempts by the warlord to buy time. "My coat and my cigars. They confiscated all our belongings upon arrival, and they keep them in there," Crocodile explained. "My clothes!" Yujo chimed in, her excitement evident as she followed Crocodile towards the designated chamber.

"Hey, didn't you say you were going to guide us out of here?" Buggy complained, shaking his fist at Crocodile. The former warlord turned around, his gaze icy and his voice resonating in the prison's darkness. "Stop giving me commands, clown. We will escape when I am ready!" In that moment, an alarm blared and an announcement echoed through the halls: "Red alert! Two logia-type prisoners have escaped. I repeat, red alert!"

Yujo extended her arm, water shooting from her hand like a pistol, crushing the door under the immense pressure. "Not bad!," Helga admitted, impressed by Yujo's abilities. Inside the chamber, they found an assortment of weapons, rations, and clothes belonging to the prisoners on that level. Crocodile smiled and entered the room with Yujo. "Look at you, missy. You can fight as soon as you stop crying and whining." Yujo swiftly gathered her clothes and bag, which had been confiscated upon her arrival. Meanwhile, Crocodile searched for his coveted cigars. "I had no chance against you in the cell. But you should never underestimate me," Yujo declared, placing her belongings into her backpack. Crocodile grinned slyly at her. "Oh, I never did. I actually like the new “wet” you just as much as I loved the crying one."
