ACADEMICS
Try to recreate your ideal study routine before. Study any subject you want using that specific study routine that you can when school opens. This gives you enough time before school starts to make any adjustments needed.
Get a head start. If you do have access to your curriculum or syllabus, read or actively study content on those topics. If you don’t, you can usually search up your class and your state which shows what you’ll be learning.
Experiment with study methods + note-taking. For study methods, search up different ways to effectively study, and pick at least three that appeal to you. Then pick any topic you want, and use those methods to study that topic. See which one worked the best for you and which wasn’t. 
For note-taking, search for some ways to take notes, and choose at least 3 that appeal to you. Then watch a video/lecture on any topic, and use those methods to take notes on it. See which ones that worked the best for you.
Create a planner or diary. Use it to keep track of your assessments, assignments due dates, events at school or any after-school activities. This planner would be just purely for school-related things. 
I think a digital planner would work best with most students, but some traditional ones are equally as good. It’s up to you to choose how you want to plan your school life, but you need to have at least one planner. 
Find a good study website/app. There are so many academic websites/apps out there that can aid you while studying, which are just at your fingertips. 
I recommend Duolingo, Quizlet and Khan Academy. Of course, there are so many more out there so I encourage you to explore your options. Some websites are just dedicated to one subject. 
Set SMART goals. Set academic goals that are achievable and realistic. Wanting all A’s or 100’s all the time is just way too unrealistic, and the pressure of wanting to reach the standard you set for yourself is just going to stress you out. 
Wanting a certain award, or A’s in certain subjects allows you to allocate your focus properly and is within reach. While you should definitely strive for good grades, avoid getting caught up in the mind trap of trying to achieve ‘perfect’ grades. 
Create a study place and ritual. Before school starts, choose a place anywhere in which you study regularly. Avoid having more than one, because having just one allows you to settle in and focus better. 
If this place is in your house, ensure that the space around it is clean and free of anything that wouldn’t serve you while studying. Plus, you can put up some cute motivational quotes.
A study ritual is habits that you do before studying, that help you while studying. You can create your own of whatever things that help you to be more productive and focused. 
HEALTH
Establish a sleep routine early. A week before school preferably, start waking up at the time you’d have to go to school and sleeping at your desired time. This is so that when school starts, you’re not feeling groggy while getting ready because you’ve already adjusted to the time. 
Talking about sleep, ensure that you practice good sleep hygiene as quality sleep enhances brain performance and improves energy levels throughout the day. 
Plan your meals at school. For us who have canteens or cafes near our schools, we tend to just eat whatever and we forget to nourish our bodies. You still can buy from them, but the night before, try to think about what you can eat for lunch the next day instead of impulsively buying. 
Carrying small containers of fruits or vegetables to go with my canteen lunch is my favourite combination. 
Carry a water bottle. I used to always forget to stay hydrated during school, so instead of drinking from fountains, I now prefer to carry around my water bottle from class to class. 
Wear SPF.
Just having it sitting on my desk while I’m working, reminds me in my mind to drink water. Water also boosts brain performance! 
Create a stress management plan. There are going to be times when you feel stressed, but we want to avoid stress impacting our academic performance and mental health. 
Before school starts, plan what to do if you feel heavily stressed. This could be like a menu of things you can choose from or a step-by-step guide that you follow through. This plan should contain things that relax you, make you happy and distract you from stress. 
Practice good posture. Once school starts, we sit at a desk all day, and most of us forget the proper way to sit while studying/working in class. This can lead to slumping or hunching on a chair, which encourages bad posture. 
Remember throughout the day to practice good posture, if you can, put a little reminder on your device. Posture stretches before the school days also help. 
Try to incorporate exercise into your schedule. Exercise is frequently neglected when we just have so much studying to do and we’re busy with other activities, but exercise is essential to leading a healthy lifestyle. 
The good thing, is you don’t have to do it every day. Doing it 2-3x a week should be enough. Going on walks during lunch/recess, cycling to school or participating in gym are easy ways to incorporate during the school season. 
Keep your bag lightweight. Carry the absolute essentials to school, having such a heavy bag can do a number on your back and also affect your posture. If you do have one, try to keep most things in your locker instead of bringing them to and from school. 
Engage in social media mindfully. There are so many toxic studying accounts out there that encourage unrealistic expectations or offer harsh ‘motivation’ to students. 
Please don’t interact with these types of accounts, even if they provide motivation to you, it is not sustainable at all. 
SELF CARE
Choose your favourite way to take a break. Not just once a week, but always take breaks every day. If you want these breaks to be somewhat productive like reading a productivity book or exercising, then go ahead. 
However, your breaks can also be ‘unproductive’. Play some games, go online shopping or just take a nap. One break is not better than the other, I just encourage you to take any kind of breaks you want daily.  
Plan to engage in hobbies regularly. It is easy to neglect our passions and what brings us happiness when we’re focused on school. If you can, have a chunk of the day just purely for doing hobbies. It can be for 1 hour, 30 minutes or 10. 
Or, join an afterschool club that focuses on that specific passion or hobby. Not only is it time for you to engage in the things you enjoy, you meet like-minded people who also enjoy it. 
Try to plan things with friends and family. Before school, meet up with your friends or family and do things with them. Once school reopens, opportunities to hang out with your loved ones are scarce. So, do it now. 
Create a no-hard productivity day. Plan a day in which you are doing the most minimal amount of productivity that you can. While you can include a few productive things, nothing that is mentally or physically exhausting is allowed on this day. 
If you are way too much of a productive or goal-oriented person to spend one day of no hard productivity, create a catch-up day. Choose one day of the week that you focus on completing or doing anything that you didn’t do all the other days. 
Keep a journal on you. Sometimes things happen during the school year, and it does cause conflicting or upsetting emotions within us. Creating the practice of journaling before school reopens is a good way for us to process our emotions and situations. 
Carry a book you like in your bag or locker. When you finish all of your work in class, or you just want to take a break, you can read a good book. This is also a good alternative to spending your lunches and recesses when you’re not in a sociable mood. 
Create a reward system. For example, if I study for x minutes, I can do x for myself. Or I can x grade, and I’ll get x. These don’t have to be big or extravagant rewards, but something simple like one episode of your favourite show can do. 
MINDSET CHANGES
Practice a growth mindset. You are going to experience failure at least once (if not more) during your school career. You mustn’t take these experiences to heart, and instead, use them as lessons to encourage self-growth within you. 
Practice this mindset now, so that when school reopens, you won’t have a problem with extracting lessons from failures. 
Use comparison as a source of inspiration or motivation. It is easy to compare ourselves with our peers, as we are similar ages, but their skills can exceed ours. Instead of using up all of your energy to be envious of the, channel that energy into bettering yourself. Not to beat them, but to beat yourself. 
View studying as a time to develop your skills. While yes, we do study to get good grades, studying can help us to grow our other skills as well. We build our discipline, focus and critical thinking as well. 
So when you don’t get the best grade from an assessment or assignment, don’t beat yourself up and think all that studying was for nothing. You were building those skills, so next time, you can apply them when you have to study again.
Set firm boundaries with others and yourself. There are times when you just have to say, I have to study. Not just to others, but to yourself. Practice these boundaries before school when it comes to more general productivity. 
There is no rejection, just redirection. Change your mindset that rejection is nonexistent, and there is only redirection. Incorporate it in your daily life like;
‘there’s no more stock left of my favourite product, there’s probably something better out there.’ 
That being said, I’m not saying that if there is a barrier to your goal, you just move on. However, you should not be chasing things that are not meant for you and shift your focus when necessary. 
Detach when needed. Stop attaching your value or worth to things that are external and can easily be gone. This doesn’t have to apply to just grades, but also other situations. 
Try to start reading or researching about detachment before school reopens.  
Time is your most valuable resource, use it to invest wisely. Your teen years are going to be the most suitable time in your life to start investing in yourself. 
You have fewer things to worry about(aside from grades) and you have a lot of opportunities now to explore the things that you want. Please, don't spend this time doomscrolling or any other time-wasting activity.

I have adhd so it’s like I don’t know how to keep it up because I never found a method that it works for me. Can you share how you do it in case you do it? And some tips? I feel like it’ll help me to organise my life but I feel stuck every time I have to do it. Thank you <3
Hi love! Sharing my method below. Hope it's somewhat useful xx
To-Do List Planning:
Spend an hour or so on the weekend to list all of the important assignments/errands, etc. you need to complete during the week. Fill your calendar with your school/work/activity obligations first see an overview of how you will need to spend a considerable amount of time dedicated to each non-negotiable activity. Use this overview to help you map out the "free" time" you have and pre-schedule when you will do specific work projects, study for a particular exam, when you will run certain errands, engage in leisure activities, etc.
Before bed/dinner, use this weekly framework to finalize the next day – your agenda for the upcoming day. Determine the big 1-3 tasks you want to complete the following day and when throughout your day you will focus on these specific tasks. Giving yourself this pre-assigned schedule will eliminate decision fatigue and allow you to go into a more "autopilot" mode by completing the action you've already planned to take at any time of the day.
Important Date Reminders:
Utilize your Google Calendar and sync it to your iCloud (make sure it's private!) to allow you to write down any important dates available for viewing on your phone, computer, etc. at all times.
Create a color-coding system to organize your calendar (i.e. make any big projects due in blue, regular/smaller assignments to complete in red, important job reminders in yellow, errands tasks in green, family/friend obligations in purple, appointments in orange, etc.)
If you need to remember to submit certain paperwork, run an errand, etc., use your Reminders app to alert you at the time when you're able to complete this task before a deadline, going home, etc.
Use the location function or invite other participating members on a specific Google calendar event for any obligations where you need to be at a certain place at a specific time and/or are working on a group project, having a meeting, or need to be at a location with someone else.
I'm very into my "bookend" routines aka the rituals I do before I start my tasks for the day and how I wind down at night.
In the morning: Skincare, outfit, makeup, 2 big mugs of black coffee, reading articles & newsletters
In the evening: A long walk outside or a 15-30 minute YouTube workout/dance party session when the weather isn't optimal. Shower, skincare, get into sweats, make dinner, clean up around the house
To plan out my work week/days:
I use the 3-Month Productivity Planner by Intelligent Change (linked here). It's been my holy grail while building my business for the past 3-4 years. I also love having a physical "To-Do" list notepad next to me for tasks that come to mind or come up throughout the day that I want to organize/come back to later. (I always try to plan my week out on Sunday evenings and for the next day either before my evening routine or after dinner) I was gifted this one from The Daily Edited a few years ago and love it. Very much worth refilling the inserts.
For meetings: I use Google Calendar that's linked to my iCal. The notes section is essential for me.
For small tasks/bills/errands: I set scheduled Reminders for the day/time I need to pay a bill, write an email, schedule something for work or life, create a reminder for something I need to take before heading out to a meeting or appointment, something I need to buy at the pharmacy, etc.
As someone who in certain ways completely embodies the stereotypical "creative" type, my brain naturally goes in a million directions at once, so streamlining everything has become an important, deliberate habit and way of life for me. People think I'm naturally organized at this point in life, so I hope this system works for someone else out there too! x

Outlining has always been a major issue for me. I don't have any idea how to do it properly. It bores me and most of the time I quit halfway. I also don't find any of the outlining methods on the Internet enjoyable. Any tips?
Outlining Isn't Enjoyable
Here are a bunch of things to consider...
1 - "Outlining" Just Means "Planning" - I'm not sure what outlining methods you've seen on the internet, but the truth is, as far as writing goes, outlining really just means "planning." And if you want to plan your story in advance, you can do that via whatever means works for you. Beginning to end written summary, verbal summary in audio notes app, mind map, timeline, scene cards, scene list, chapter summaries, scene summaries, mood boards, academic outline, story structure map, method template, playlist... you could outline your story through interpretive dance if that's what works for you.
2 - Outlining Isn't a Requirement - Like pretty much anything related to process, outlining isn't a requirement. Outlines are mostly done by so-called "planners" who prefer to flesh things out before they start writing. Many writers consider themselves "pantsers" in that they like to "write by the seat of their pants" or "wing it." These writers like to let the story develop organically, as they write. They understand their first draft might be extra messy, but they know it can be cleaned up and refined in the second draft.
3 - Outlining Isn't Really Meant to be "Fun" - If you're a writer who needs to plan your story in advance, and so you need an outline of some sort before you start writing, please know that for the most part, the majority of us aren't always approaching the outlining process with glee in our hearts and ticker tape falling from the sky. I mean, outlining can be fun, but a lot of the time it's just work. It's just something that some of us have to do before we start writing, and it's not particularly grueling or mind numbing work, it's just not the most fun thing we could be doing in that moment.
4 - Is the Problem with Your Story? - If you're a writer who needs to outline your story, but you find yourself bored to ears when you outline--to the extent that you can't even finish your outline--it is worth taking a step back to consider whether the problem isn't with outlining but your story. No matter how excited you might be about elements of your story, if you're boring yourself to tears while planning it or writing it, that may be a sign that something's not working. In other words, if you're bored planning the story, there's a good chance the reader will be bored reading it.
5 - Is the Problem Something Else? - If you're a writer who needs to outline your story, and you're really excited about your story and feel that it all works very well, but you're still getting bored and frustrated with the outlining process, then something else is going on. Things to consider: are you well rested and feeling well when you sit down to outline? Are you nourished and hydrated? Do you feel like you're in a pretty good headspace? Are you in a reasonably comfortable space that's relatively free from distraction? Are there other things competing for your attention? (Social media, texts, friends hanging out in the other room, someplace else you'd rather be, something else you'd rather be doing?) Are there other important tasks you're putting off that need to be done? Is there anything about the story that is difficult for you emotionally right now? Sometimes it's just a matter of trouble-shooting what's going on in your life, your space, and your body/mind before you start working on your outline.

Write down your basic daily activities (take a shower, brush your teeth, eat, etc) including how much time you spend on that.
Make a list of activities you HAVE to do, also including the time you spend doing those.
Set clear goals, list them and put them in a priority order and plan how you can achieve them.
Be honest with yourself ✰✰✰✰✰

After following those steps you can finally make a visual plan of your new routine. You can use a physical planner or a digital one. For those who want a digital one here are some recommendations that might help you (each one works in a very different way, so try some of them and see what works better for you):
Notion has many templates that you can use or create one your own. You can customise all templates but its functions are more focused on productivity than aesthetics. Also, the templates are made to be updated with your new informations, so you wouldn’t have to delete them, just the information in it (depending on the template, because some of them change every week or month so you don’t lose the information or have to delete them manually). You can access it by the app or browser.
Canva can also be accessed by the app or browser. It has many pretty and cute free templates. It’s perfect for those who want something very practical and aesthetically pleasing. You can edit weekly or monthly planners, or just delete them and create a new one in minutes. It’s very intuitive and simple to use.
Pinterest can be accessed by the app or browser. There you can find many template ideas that you can save as an image, but you cannot edit the template on Pinterest. It might help you on having some ideas to base on your own template or to find links of other templates.

Living with ADHD has its unique challenges, but it's also a journey filled with creativity, resilience, and countless small victories. I've learned to embrace my ADHD and discovered some invaluable tips, hints, and hacks along the way. In this blog, I'll share my personal insights and strategies that have made life with ADHD more manageable and even exciting.
1. Embrace Your ADHD:
Accepting your ADHD is the first step to managing it effectively. It's a part of who you are, and that's okay.
Learn about your specific strengths and weaknesses associated with ADHD. You might be exceptionally creative or have hyperfocus superpowers!

Learn what kind of workspace works best for you, it's not the same for every ADHD brain.

Set timers for tasks to prevent hyperfocus and procrastination.

Consult a medical professional to discuss medication options.

Meditation and mindfulness do not have to be the typical sit still and clear your-mind things they are for non-ADHD brains, for a lot of ADHD brains we need to move so something like knitting/crocheting, going for a walk, or sitting outside in nature with your dog are our forms of mindfulness and meditation.
8. Stay Organized:
Use color coding, labels, and file systems to keep your physical and digital spaces organized.
Daily checklists can be a game-changer.
Know your own ADHD brain and make your system one that works for your brain or organization will continue to be a struggle.
9. Don't Fear Mistakes:
It's okay to make mistakes. Learn from them and keep moving forward.
Perfectionism can be your enemy; aim for progress, not perfection.
Learn to let good enough be good enough, perfection does not exist.
10. Get Adequate Sleep and Exercise:

Glad you asked! Here's a super simplified list;
Switch Log - a place to track switches between alters
Planner - a simplistic planner to keep track of reminders and notes
Journals - a section with a communal journal, as well as a database for personal journals with alters.
Emergency Contacts - a place for emergency contacts, as well as crisis lines
System Guidelines - a section for the rules/internal laws your system may have!
System Management - a place to keep track of various habits, as well as a place to keep track of subsystems
System Members - a database with a template for keeping record of all alters and fragments that your system has contact with
Innerworld Section - a place to keep track of all the different places in ur headspace or otherwise!
Coping Skills - a database with PDFs of a bunch of DBT skills. Im talking, just a bunch of them [I may make a second version where you can make the sheets directly in notion, as opposed to the PDF, but I have not done that yet. might also add other skills over time].

Scared to Commit to Dream Project
xuliaxuxu asked: I'm an aspiring author who has been writing for a long time but never actually committed to my dream project because it scares me. I've read a lot about structure, good character development and arcs, and how it all works, but I'm still scared of not being able to write a story I'm proud of. Do you have any tips on how to get through the outlining process and first draft without feeling so much pressure on your shoulders? And are the first steps in writing a novel where you have so many ideas but don’t know how to organise them? It’s been a lonely process since I have no writer friends to talk about these specific struggles. Thank you for your lovely work here on tumblr it has been inspiring me a whole lot!

If it's any reassurance, the fact that you've been teaching yourself about structure and character development puts you ahead of a lot of writers when they first start out. But it's also a bit of a double-edged sword, because that knowledge raises the bar for what you expect to be able to accomplish. And unfortunately, having the knowledge doesn't mean you can instantly apply it perfectly. You still need to practice applying that knowledge before you can get really good at it. It's sort of like this: if you wanted to get really good at hand lettering, you could watch hours and hours of videos about how to do it... you could learn about the different techniques and the lingo, etc., but that doesn't mean you'll be able to do flawless hand lettering the first time you pick up a brush marker. You'll still have to actually practice those techniques for a while to get really good at it. Writing is the exact same way. And that can be frustrating because you know what you want to accomplish, and you have the knowledge to get yourself there, you just don't have the actual skills to actually get there yet.
So, here's what I recommend... keep the dream project on the back-burner for now. You can still work on the pre-planning (because even that qualifies as practice), but in the meantime work on other projects to get the practice in. There's a little bit of sacrifice here because you should find ideas you're excited about, but you have to write them knowing they're not going to be your best work. And that's fine, because writing them doesn't mean you have to share them or publish them. You can write them and keep them on the shelf as a reminder of the work you've done along the way. You can also revisit favorite projects later to revamp them with a more practiced skill set.
Working on something you're excited about and love--but which has the leeway to be not your best work--is the absolute best way to take the pressure off yourself when outlining and getting through the first draft. Once you've done this a few times and you know you're getting the hang of it, you can revisit your dream project, and just the fact that you know what you're doing will take a ton of that pressure off. Another thing that will help once you get to that point is remembering that your outline and first draft don't have to be perfect--and they won't be. Part of the writing process is having the flexibility to change things as you go, to tweak and improve, even into the later drafts. Developmental editing wouldn't exist if your outline and first draft had to be structurally perfect. :)
As far as organizing a lot of ideas, you might find it helpful to find a story planner of some kind. These exist as web sites (Novlr), apps (Fabula), programs (Scrivener), workbooks (Outlining Your Novel Workbook by K.M. Weiland), and you can even find time for download on Etsy. You can probably also find free ones to download if you can't spend any money. If nothing else, get yourself a multi-subject notebook and divide it into sections like plot, characters, world, brainstorm and get all those ideas out into their individual sections. Even that can make a big difference.

The rest of the day flew by; your second class was a breeze, covering the same information as the one earlier in the day. Only this time your thoughts were further plagued by Larissa. A few times during the lesson, you turned your head and found the scent of her perfume had clung to the shoulder of your shirt where she leaned over you, and it filled your stomach with a particular warmth. 
At the class period’s closing you packed up for the afternoon, passing your eyes over your desk one last time, still dumbfounded at the thought of your missing planner. With a shrug, you threw your bag over your arm and flicked the light switch before locking up the room for the day.

Upon your arrival home, you tore your apartment apart in search of the small book. You searched the place top to bottom; flipping up couch cushions, ruffling through stacks of magazines, even shuffling through the contents of your kitchen cabinets. You had never felt more disorganized than you did when you were without it. 
Placing a pile of discarded laundry back in its basket after tearing it apart, a realization hit you like a brick wall - Larissa’s email. The whole reason she had messaged you was to inform you that you had left something behind. It had to be your planner. The planner you treated more like a private journal than an actual day planner. You scooped up the remaining clothes and dropped them back into place before making your way to the couch. 
Plopping down on its plush surface, you brought your knees to your chest, and found yourself consumed by your anxious thoughts. Amidst your worry, that sweet smell found its way back to you. You hesitantly turned your head to the left. Only the faintest whispers of her perfume were left on the fabric, and you closed your eyes for a moment, basking in it. Memories of your last confrontation with the principal came flooding back. Without thinking, you leaned back on the pillows, your fingertips grazing your inner thigh through your trousers. You had been so incredibly stressed lately and your encounters with Larissa only wound you up tighter. She tortured you, leaving you only with the option of taking care of things yourself.
Pulling the cotton of your shirt closer to your nose, you inhaled deeply, your back arching at the contact of your own digits as you exhaled. They danced over the button of your pants, and you paused for a moment, taken aback by your own behavior. But in the end you didn’t care. You were alone. 
You undid their fasten and wiggled out of your bottoms, suddenly feeling far too warm in the offending garment. You tossed them away haphazardly, leaving you in your button-down shirt and panties, before settling back into your place with a sigh. Skirting your fingers over the now bare skin, you gasped softly and closed your eyes again, willing your mind to imagine it was Larissa’s fingers advancing upon you. You fought to contain a whimper when they came in contact with your center through your underwear, already dampened by your recollection of the earlier encounter with the principal. Her leaning down to you in an almost patronizing way. Her deep red lips, so close to yours that you could have puckered your own and made contact. She consumed every other thought in your mind. You needed this. Maybe you could finally think clearly after a bit of a release…
Just as you were about to press your fingers against yourself for more friction, a needy moan escaping you, your phone vibrated. “You have got to be kidding me,” you growled in your frustration. Reaching over to remove it from your discarded pants, you wrenched it free from the pocket, reading over the screen with a scowl. That red “1” above your email app was back, and you could’ve guessed who the message was from.
You checked the notification with shaky hands, nerves still on-edge from your prior task. Sure enough, your assumptions were correct. You had never felt frustration to such a degree in your life, and this woman was the cause. Larissa fucking Weems. You opened the message with a huff.

Yes, tomorrow works for me as well. Feel free to drop by my office any time before 10:00.

Of course she would interrupt you during such an intimate activity. It was as if she knew what you were up to. At least that’s how it felt. You groaned and stood up, the intrusion taking you out of the moment. 
“Dear.” 
She was openly mocking you at this point. She knew full well what she was doing to you, you were sure of it.
You headed to your bathroom for a shower, ignoring the gnawing ache between your thighs as you turned the water on. You tossed your shirt into the dirty laundry hamper, resisting the urge to get one last whiff of Larissa’s scent. Ridding yourself of the day, you scrubbed away at your frustration under the scalding hot water. 
Retiring to your bedroom, you glanced at the clock and realized it was only 6pm. You didn’t care much though. This day had dragged on long enough, and you decided to call it early. Your exhausted limbs dragged you toward the bed, and you flopped face-down onto the pillows. It was barely dark outside, but your day spent pining after the principal wore you out completely.

Without explanation, you found yourself standing in the middle of Larissa’s office. The only light in the room was a warm glow from the fireplace, which illuminated the principal’s silhouette, seated at her desk before you. She peeked up from her short stack of paperwork to look you up and down a few times, a question reaching her eyes before landing on your ears. 
“What can I do for you, Ms. Y/L/N?” She asked politely, eyelashes fluttering. 
You felt your face heat up immediately. You had no idea why you were there. 
“Well?” Larissa pressed, raising from her chair to step toward you. She stared you down with a sinful look in her eye. She kept walking past you, circling your form like an animal stalking its prey. Every instinct told you to flee, but you couldn’t find the will to move. You felt a magnetic pull toward this woman; you didn’t want to leave. 
She came to a dead stop behind you, and you felt the warmth of her body spread across your back, mere centimeters away. You wanted to face her, but couldn’t bring yourself to meet her gaze. Suddenly her voice was in your ear, low and soft, tickling something deep inside you in the best way. 
“Tell me what you want.” Her hands ghosted over your hips, touching you so gently you could barely feel her through your clothes. One of her hands inched higher, two fingers dragging vertically over your torso and up your sternum. Her wrist twisted and her palm made contact with your throat at last, fingers and thumb on either side, raising your face toward her own. You couldn’t help the pathetic whimper the action pulled from your chest, and you squeezed your eyes shut for a moment. 
You knew she could feel your pulse hammering beneath her fingers and your eyelids became heavy with lust when you opened them again. She lowered her face to yours at a snail’s pace, clearly enjoying taking her time with you. You stared at her perfectly-plump lips, painted in their usual taunting red. You licked your own in anticipation for the contact, your breaths increasing in pace. One single word came to you to answer her question, the only thing you had been thinking about for days. Your voice was gravely when you whispered it in return. 
“You.”
Just before your lips met hers, a loud noise startled you, and you pulled away from her grasp in surprise. Your blaring alarm woke you with a start once again, yanking you from your subconscious state. The dull ache between your legs was back and you cursed yourself for your history of having such vivid dreams. You wanted to scream. Apparently, both Larissa and your phone’s alarm were intent on making your life as difficult as possible. 
Forcing yourself out of bed, you threw on your usual business-casual attire before arranging your appearance in the mirror. Heading out the door for the day, you tried your best not to let your unaddressed frustrations get the better of you.

Tugging open the front door of the school, you made it your mission to remain focused and on-task today. You made a beeline for your classroom, nodding curtly to a few students in passing. You reached the door at last, and spied the corner of something sticking out from underneath it. Swinging it open you saw a folded piece of paper sitting at your feet. Lifting the card stock from the floor, you shut the heavy door behind you, shielding yourself from any unwanted interruption. You hesitantly flipped it open, reading over the two words it contained in pristine cursive handwriting:

It was written on her own personalized stationary. Of course Larissa fucking Weems had a set of personalized stationary. 
You pocketed the note and dropped your belongings on your desk, locking up the room again before heading for the principal’s office. You were tired of her games. You just hoped you could hold your stern composure in her presence.

You knocked on the massive doors as you had done the last two days prior to your previous visits, only this time one creaked open, already unlatched. You peered inside, your nerves threatening to creep up again. The office was empty. You steadied your pounding heart and walked in confidently, clicking the large door shut behind you. With Larissa nowhere in sight, you took matters into your own hands. 
Storming up to her desk, you shuffle almost angrily through the neat stacks of paperwork atop it, not caring to read over their details. You’re careful to avoid so much as touching her laptop though; that was a line you wouldn’t cross. You could only imagine the number of confidential documents it held inside. You hesitated before pulling open the top drawer closest to you, your hand clenching into a fist before reaching to wrap around the gold knob. You shouldn’t be doing this. You knew you shouldn’t be going through her things but if it meant you got your planner back without having to face Larissa, you’d do it. 
The drawer was packed with alphabetically-organized files, each containing a plastic label with the names of every staff member in Nevermore. Your fingers tapped the one containing your own, and for a moment you considered investigating its contents. Would she keep your planner within it for safe-keeping?
“Snooping are we, Ms. Y/L/N?” Her voice made you jump, your eyes sealing shut as your hands stilled their movements. Larissa emerged from the adjacent room to find you elbow-deep in her desk, her hands smoothing over her dress before clasping in front of her. 
You had been caught. 
Your face turned as red as her lipstick as her heels clicked along the wood floor, taking her time to make her way over to you, not dissimilar to how she stalked you in your dream. You couldn’t do it. You couldn’t keep it together. You heard the blood rush into your ears and you feared you might pass out; whether from the embarrassment or from her gaze upon you, you weren’t sure. Your wits hardly about you, you wracked your brain for something to say. 
“I’m sorry Principal Weems, but you do have something of mine. I’d like it back.” You were shocked at the evenness of your tone, but the quivering of your hands betrayed you. You shut the drawer as she stepped nearer, her eyes searching your expression for any insincerity in your apology. 
“Does that give you permission to go through my personal belongings?” A little ironic for her to say, she knew, and she smiled internally. 
“No,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper as she defeated you with her logic. You were definitely getting written up for this. Hell, your job might even be on the line for it. 
She moved to take a step behind you, her body just barely missing yours in her attempt to squeeze past to access her seat. Before you can process what’s happening, she brings her lips to your ear, her voice dropping several octaves, and allowed her fingers to graze your lower back as she steps by.
“I do so wish you would keep your hands to yourself, darling.”
That word again. 
You look up at her over your shoulder to see her smirking playfully at you. The scenario felt all too familiar, and for a moment you wondered if your dreams that night had actually been visions of what was to come the following day. An impossible notion for a normie. You pushed the thought away.
“My apologies, I must get on with my work.” She lowered herself onto her chair, holding eye contact with you the whole way down. It felt strange to look down to meet her eyes, yet somehow she was still in complete control of the situation. “But first…”
She opened the top drawer on the opposite side of the desk, pulling your planner free. If only you had begun your search on that side. Relief and panic somehow set in simultaneously. You handled the small book more like a diary, and if she had read it…
“I must say, your penmanship is impeccable, Ms. Y/L/N.” There it was. She had read it. 
Embarrassment threatened to color your face once more but you forced it down, finally getting a grip on yourself. “Please forgive me, I simply couldn’t resist.”
Her words sounded suggestive of something else entirely. They made your head spin in that way only she could, but you were determined not to let it show.
“Thank you, Principal Weems,” you returned, choosing to take the compliment at face value. You couldn’t handle being in her presence for much longer; your legs threatened to give out beneath you in humiliation.
She was still holding it, twirling the silk ribbon bookmark that protruded from the bottom of the pages between her fingers. You wanted to snatch it and run, but you fought your instincts and stood your ground, albeit awkwardly.
“Shall we be keeping better track of our belongings from now on, Y/N?” You liked your name much better when she said it. You swallowed hard. The demeaning nature of her words sparked something inside you that you couldn’t place. 
“Yes Principal Weems,” you answered. You couldn’t help but feel you had just been scolded; at the same time you found you strangely enjoyed it, the spark of heat in your stomach building. There was a hint of something else in her eye when she finally handed your planner back to you. You took it from her hand, avoiding eye contact.
“By the way, Ms. Y/L/N,” she paused. The way she switched between addressing you by your first and last names gave you whiplash. “I’ll be stepping away from Nevermore this afternoon to attend a conference tomorrow. If all goes well, I should be back later in the evening.”
A puzzled look came over you, and she smiled at your adorable lack of understanding.
“I wanted to let you know in case you found yourself… In need of anything from me.” Your eyebrows rose in surprise and you nodded in response, unable to control the way your eyes widened at the tone of her words. 
“Good to know! Uh… Thanks for telling me.” Your voice noticeably cracked on the last word, and you tried to hide it behind a small cough to no avail. “I’ll see you next week then, Principal Weems.”
With a quick wave, you left the office in the same way you always did, in a hurry to regain your bearings. Only this time, you hadn’t considered the time. 
You were going to be late for class.

You kept yourself from bursting into the room, slowing your sprint to an easy jog when you reached the door of your room once again, the face of your watch reading 9:06. 
“Apologies for my tardiness guys, let’s get started.” You pulled out a fresh attendance sheet along with your lesson plan and textbook in preparation at the podium, regarding your class with a kind smile.
A student raised their hand, a frown on their face. “Hey Ms. Y/L/N, why is your face so red?” they asked, a few giggles bouncing around the room. 
You were impressed with the speed at which you came up with an excuse, “Well considering I had to run to get here, that does tend to happen!” That was a bullet you desperately needed to dodge. 
The class let out an amused laugh in unison, collectively dismissing the topic as they pulled out their various notebooks and pens.

You feared your ever-looming frustration would shed a tint on the rest of your day. It soured your mood just a touch, but thankfully your students were well-behaved. The hour and a half with them passed you right by, and you actually found it to be quite enjoyable. You were grateful for their reminder to you of why you were there in the first place: your love of teaching. As the period drew to a close, you found that you had a new pep in your step. Your day ended on a positive note, heading home earlier than usual with the rest of your schedule free, but Larissa and her games were never far from your mind.

Hi Guys! It’s been a long time since I’ve uploaded here on tumbler and recently I feel like coming back and sharing a few tips about improving your life. I know I used to talk mainly about manifestation but I honestly think that mental health and keeping yourself physically healthy can make such a big difference in your manifesting journey. That’s why I would like to focus on improving your daily life and definitely talk about it more.

Let’s start with the basics. In the last few weeks (honestly since summer) I had the biggest problems with my sleep schedule. It was really so hard for me to fall asleep at normal time and it was the cause of me not being able to wake up on time and being late to classes everyday. It got to a point that I felt so physically unmotivated in the mornings I didn’t know what to do. Gladly now it’s over because of my morning and evening routines that I’ve created to feel better and do better. It honestly works wonders.
Let’s just assume that your whole day will go according to your morning. Even if u don’t believe that to be true, just imagine what if everything you do right after you wake up had the biggest impact on your day. How would your mornings look then? What would you do to have the best day ever? How would you manage your time? What things would you use to make waking up and getting ready the most pleasurable thing? Just try that for a few days and you will see the difference in your mood.
If your a heavy sleeper like me and it’s hard for you to get up in the morning, you should pay attention to your evening habits as well. I think one of the biggest part of ideal morning routines is a well constructed evening routine and sleep schedule. It makes your morning more enjoyable, since you don’t have to clean your room, pick your outfit or pack your bags. It’s a game changer as it makes your morning less stressful and more easygoing. So it’s good to remember that morning and evening routine go hand in hand and are not two separate things as you may think. They complete each other and work together.
Making morning/evening schedules:
I think you should make your to do lists as much aesthetically pleasing as you can. It will make you look at them a lot more and actually enjoy the process of making it. One of the best app to use for that kind of planning is Notion. It’s not only very easy to use but at the same time it has so many free features that you can easily use as you want. If your more of a lazy person and you’re not into spending your precious time on doing such lists you can download ready planners from the internet and just fill them out according to your needs. Go on Pinterest and search some examples of notion pages - I kid you not it’s so fun to make them and personalize them your gonna love it.
So what to actually put into your morning to do list? Here are some examples of my favorite things to do right after I wake up. But first you need to figure out how much time do you have before leaving your house. This way it will be less problematic to come up with how much time you can spend for example on skin care or doing your make up. There are also some essentials that I think you must allocate your time into such us making your bed (it subconsciously makes you believe that you already started doing your daily tasks and it will be much easier for you to go on with them) and other basic routine things as keeping your hygiene up as it will make you feel already good in the morning.
So one of the most important things in the morning routine are:
skin care and other basic hygiene needs
picking outfit according to the weather
packing my bag (I hate doing it the day before)
praying and setting intentions for the day
repeating some of my favorite affirmations
making myself breakfast and something to drink
When I’m done with all of those things I should be good to go. But there are actually some other things that you could do if you have more time. Sometimes if I have classes starting later than usual and I still want to wake up at the same time to keep my waking up hours streak I can do some of additional things listed below:
meditation
journaling
planning whole day ahead
deeper cleaning of my room
reading a book
taking a refreshing shower
You might also give yourself more sleep time. I don’t think it’s a bad thing although it can become that when you do it too often. So be responsible and don’t do it every morning.

How to Keep a Routine without Motivation.
There are Four Laws of Behavior Change in the book, Atomic Habits. But today, I will be focusing on the Third Law: "Make it Easy".
You need a cue to trigger the habit loop.
It means in order to stick to a habit, you have to lessen the friction. Just like an alarm clock.
Throughout my self-transformation journey, I have had my fair share of trial and error and I will be sharing the system I built that has worked for me to achieve my intentions of the day.
Notion Recurring Tasks
You have probably heard stories about 'Notion being the best productivity app'. Notion is indeed the second-brain system where you can do a lot of things. It is versatile and easy to use since it syncs on both desktops and phones. But I have not seen anyone who talked about this new feature that helped me accomplish all my tasks and gave me more free time to achieve my higher self.
This has been the best system I built that is extremely helpful to my leveling-up journey. I was able to accomplish a lot of tasks and have more free time to achieve my highest self.
GUIDE: HOW TO CREATE A RECURRING TO-DO LIST
First, pick a task that you know you will be doing weekly, monthly, or yearly.
For example, every month you want to create a Monthly Workout Planner:
On your page, type /gallery and click the Gallery view.

2. Click the drop-down arrow on the upper right side and click "New Template"

3. Type your recurring task

4. After that, click "Back" and Click the 3 dots to choose the frequency of the reminder.

5. Your task will appear automatically on the specific day you set.
Note: You should check your daily to-do task every day because the app doesn't have a feature yet to remind you of the recurring task

WHAT SHOULD I PUT ON MY RECURRING TASK?
I do tasks based on the planetary ruler of the day.

Have you ever wondered why a lot of people don't like going to work on Mondays? It is because Monday is ruled by the moon. The energy of the day is encouraging us to rest and take things slow.
Now, I'm not saying you shouldn't show up at work or sit on your couch for the whole day! It's about doing prioritized tasks intentionally and not putting too much on your plate. However, if you feel like doing a lot of things on Monday then do it and don't waste your energy!
I like doing Yoga, Meditation, and Journaling every Monday to honor the Moon so I put them on a recurring task.
Tuesday is ruled by Mars. It's good to keep things fired up by working out and accomplishing a lot tasks as possible
Saturday is ruled by Saturn so it is the best day to structure and plan for the next week, clean, and change beddings.
and so on...

A few things i like to do in my free time to help me visualise my Drs
This is all a bunch of stuff i do in my free time anyway, so might as well playing around with it for shifting. It works for scripting, if you are not an artist, and want to picture your Dr self.
I am a very visual person, so it’s something that help me personally.
Life Makeover
This app is my obsession lately. It allow you to customise your character almost entirely. It’s definitely targeted more towards women, but i have seen people playing around with the character customisation to make it look more androgynous.
There is also a sims 4 like building feature. It’s not as great as the sims itself, but i managed to do a cute build. The proportions feels more realistic than the sims 4, and the general 3D and light quality is very nice for a mobile game, it’s very pretty to look at.

I recreated myself, since i don’t really change my appearance (outside the fact i am a fairy in pretty much all my drs). But it’s fun playing around with the outfits, what i would wear if i was in this universe, since there is a lot of fantasy outfit in the game.
The sims 4
I mentioned it earlier, I’m a big sims player. Every time i start a new script, i make a house or an apartment to visualise where i would live. Especially since the sims 4 base game is free now, you could just install aesthetic CC to make your dream house.
If you don’t like to build, there is plenty of option you can download in the gallery. A lot of the place I’m shifting to are fantasy setting, so i don’t always find good visualisation on Pinterest .

I made this apartment for me and my best friend MHA Dr, for our attempt on group shifting. I didn’t shift yet, bit she stayed in her DR for 3 days and she said the floor plan was pretty accurate. She just said the couch was different in her dr, but I’m pretty sure it’s because she didn’t like the one i chose 🤣
Of course the fun part of the sims is to create your dr self and your dr friends and see how they interact with each other. I created a save with the intention to channel my dr through it, if that makes sense.
I have seen some unexpected things playing out 😆
For exemple my Dr parents kept wanting to make more children, and did 2 without me controlling it, my mom called me telling me they were considering doing another kid, asking me what I think. I responded it was not really for me to decide and next time I saw her in the game…she was pregnant!
I think it makes sense, since I was making the perfect parents I never had, that they like parenting and having a full house, so now I consider it part of my script. I’m the oldest of four siblings now I guess.
Room Planner
Another app, for construction this time. You don’t have to pay to use it, the free version is just a little bit more limited. It’s meant for real life building, so the proportion reflect real life and you can find plenty of ikea furniture in the catalog.
That’s everything for apps, I’m sure it has been talked about before, but I hope it can give some inspiration to other shifters
