you're right, hao is indeed my bias (btw did you go through my blog to find my tag for him or do you also call him hao?) well, i'm a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry recent carat (i'd say a month or two) so i'm sure there are lots of things i didn't have time to watch but the reason why i like hao is because he's so real. i remember that live where he read a comment that went like "i'm so sad i didn't get your pc :( </3" or something along those lines and his immediate answer was like "why would you feel this way? it's just a pc. don't be like this" (it's just paraphrasing and my memory is so bad so idk how to describe what i saw). and i was like impressed to see an idol do this (well, i know he's not the only one who has done that but i think he's one of the first that i saw doing that). i also really like his style (clothes). i think only he can pull it off. oh and the way he dances is so beautiful to watch, especially in this video 💚

He had anticipated a kiss scene cuz you were the main lead, but it still bothered him a little to see you kiss someone else who is not him. But he's definitely not insecure or anything, just a peculiar sensation. And for the cure, just kiss the living daylights out of him so hard that he forgets the world except for you.

Well....he's an actor himself, so it's quite obvious that he's exceptionally proud of you. He's shamelessly promoting your movie/drama every chance he gets. Dedicates an entire Weibo live suggesting your movies and dramas to carats while explaining the plot in great detail. “What’re you doing?” 

The voice makes you jump, the bathroom having been silent just before, but you smile knowing that all is well. Nothing could possibly happen to you when Seungcheol is home. 

“Y’know how it’s been dry lately?” you ask, rubbing the smooth stick in circular motions over your lips once more.

“Yeah…”

“So my lips are kinda going through it. I’m just tryna get rid of all the dead skin and stuff.”

He hums, watching as you pucker your lips in the mirror, a lump forming in his throat. So…does that mean…your lips taste…like whatever flavor that thing is in? 

Shaking his head, he tries to steel his nerves. Roommates let alone friends shouldn’t have those kinds of thoughts about other roommates, let alone friends. But he can’t help the little jump his heart does when you glance back in his direction.

“Do you wanna try it?” you ask, holding it out to him. 

“W-wha—would that be okay?” He scratches the back of his neck, his eyes trained on the other self care products you have out on the counter. “I don’t wanna intrude…”

“You could never, Cheol,” you tease, coming over to push his shoulder lightly and hand him the lip exfoliator. 

He follows you back to the spot at the sink, staring at his reflection in front of him. With you now resuming your routine, he glances at you. How did you do it? Do you just—

He starts swiping it across his mouth, the sugar crystals stuck in the wax. Even if he’s not quite sure on what he’s supposed to be doing, he knows this doesn’t feel right. Squinting at the tube, he turns it around in his hands, trying to find some instructions.

But before he can come up empty handed and sigh, you take it from his fingers. Your hands land on his shoulders and spin him around to face you, his face wide eyed and a faint pink blush starting to color his cheeks.

“Y/n—”

“Uh uh uh,” you coo, gently pushing his jaw closed. “Pout for me?”

He does as you say before you start applying the scrub in the same way you’d done a couple minutes ago. With the sweet crumbs now sitting pretty on his lips and the soft cherry scent of the wax now wafting into his nose, he closes his eyes. Is this what you taste like? Is this what it would be like to kiss you? 

He darts his tongue out to taste the balm, instantly met with the saccharine flavor of artificial cherry. But, even though you still haven’t finished, he doesn’t think his mouth has ever felt this soft before. That knowledge certainly doesn’t help his fantasies about kissing you. 

“All done!” you exclaim, pulling away to admire your handiwork as his eyes spring open. “You can rinse off the sugar. Whaddya think?”

He turns on the faucet, running water under his fingers and rubbing it against his lips. 

“S-soft,” he murmurs. 

“Right! Isn’t it nice? I can’t believe I got this for like five dollars. Such a steal.”

But before you can return to the counter and finish your self care regimen, Seungcheol tugs on your hand, turning you to face him. Opening his mouth, he quickly closes it when surprise flashes behind your eyes.

“Oh I forgot!” You rummage through the cabinet before you pull out another balm product. “You can put this on after too.” Taking off the cap, you quickly run it on your lips and hold it out to him. “Just like that. Do you wanna try?”

However his lips are on yours before you can even blink, your body frozen from his warmth being so close to you. 

“It’s good,” he whispers, pulling away to rest his forehead against you all too soon.

Exhaling, you try to steady your heart as you place the product on the counter and move your hands to his back with a few pats. “I think you should try that again.”

Yessss!!! I went to so many, I met a bunch of carats, I got my hands on a 홋티 keyring (it's a fan-made hoshi character that is the most adorable tiger) and a bunch of other stuff!! I highly recommend trying out a birthday café of you ever come to Korea during a members bday! 💞

Tbh i wish Vernon has more korean and japanese fans. It's hard to see photos and videos of him in many events because he doesn't have that many fans among those two side of fandoms. It's a crime that we need to convince people to like Vernon. Like how come people don't automatically like him after learning about him 😩

my personal opinions aside, i was actually so pleasantly surprised how many pictures we got of vernon at the kenzo event! i think that sort of proved your point, anon. i know that there are a few fansites for vernon, and while especially with svt fansites it's always tricky because there are so many red flags and saesangs, at least one or two give us somewhat steady content. but mostly when they're in the us/out of korea & japan. i understand why his fanbase is arguably not that huge in korea though, he was always pushed as one of the members for the international fanbase, naturally, and now especially with seventeen expanding much of their business into the us (ugh) they have doubled down on that. he is a face of the group for that reason.

and i really do think his smaller fanbase stems from the fact that he isn't very prone to fanservice, doesn't have a lot of presence in korean variety or japanese programs, and the fact that he isn't one to advertise himself. vernon has always been a connection for international carats, and it's also half of whom he interacts with on weverse. so... yeah. like, i think a part of it is definitely him being american.

These things can coexist and anyone who is saying "Well just don't be in NSFW spaces then" is very inconsiderate and doesn't know the first rule of NSFW spaces that are handled well. Respect others and most importantly respect how other people are uncomfortable.

Succubuns is not an IRL meetup type thing. Succubuns is a CS/ARPG/whatever you want to call it. It's been TWO MONTHS of pregnancy and breeding themes and some users voiced being bummed out by not being able to participate for an entire month- now make that two for people who have tokophobia, triggers, or worse.

I understand that the new mochi and drinks are always available for carats, but people doing event prompts get these things much faster without much grind.

We all need to take a step back and think about how defensive some of y'all are getting over other peoples' discomfort. Yves and Luca aren't going to give you brownie points for this. If anything, you are just hurting community members by implying their triggers or discomforts are childish. You are actively alienating a group of people with your harsh, poorly thought out words.

The apartment is quiet, save for Wonwoo’s speaker playing a gentle playlist to fill your ears as you go about packing. He’s taken it upon himself to put away all the belongings in your bedroom while you load all your dishes and cookware into cardboard boxes. Even if it’s not at full volume, you can still hear the soft tunes given the small size of your place. 

It was about time you two moved in together anyway. The quaint townhouse on the other side of town is the perfect size for you to grow your lives together compared to this cramped one bedroom apartment. 

As the song changes, you grab another stack of plates from the shelf, placing them carefully in the box of bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Reaching for another, you pause when you hear Wonwoo’s gasp.

“Y/n, come here!” he calls.

“Coming!”

After you place the dishes together with their brethren, you make your way to the bedroom. Most of your things are packed neatly into the cardboard boxes littering the floor, some taped shut and some still open and halfway filled with your decorations and personal belongings. But Wonwoo sits on the bed, a book in his hands.

“What’s that?” you ask, coming over to sit next to him.

“Photo album,” he replies, his gaze still on the faded pictures from years ago. His lips quirk as he turns the page. “I didn’t know you kept these.”

Letting your eyes wander to the book, you chuckle softly. “We look so young.”

With the images in front of you, you remember those days well. You and Wonwoo were wide eyed college students when you started dating. And maybe (definitely) you were too naive and immature, as the honeymoon phase quickly wore off and you quickly decided you were better off as friends before drifting to your separate friend groups.

“You’re still just as beautiful,” he murmurs. “Actually, even more so.”

You sling an arm around his shoulder, pressing a kiss to his cheek. “I think you’re the most beautiful though.”

A shy grin comes over his face, his cheeks turning a warmish pink that matches the sunset outside. After a moment of quiet, his gaze returns back down to the pictures on his lap.

“Do you regret dating then?” he murmurs, his fingers glossing over your bright, teenage smile. 

You pause, meeting eyes with the adolescent Wonwoo below. His face is sharper now, and you know he’s more mature, a little wiser. “No,” you decide. “We had a good time overall, right? And we’re together now; no harm done.” Glancing to your boyfriend, you cock your head. “Do you?”

“No,” he replies quickly, shaking his head. “I think knowing you like that then, I think that helped me learn about you. I think it taught me how to love you better now.” 

He flips the page, finding some slightly more recent pictures, around the time you met again at work a couple years ago. Smiling, he brushes the cheek of your past self with his thumb. 

“Y’know, you still flick your pen when you’re thinking.”

“You-you remember that?” You turn to face him, his eyes now on you with his warm, steady gaze.

“‘Course…” He glances back down to his lap before finding your features once more. “I think it was good for us to grow, discover more about ourselves…and I know better now. There’s no way I’m letting you go again.”

oh yes! the china line friendship is so sweet and i like how they interact with each other. at first, i wouldn't have guessed they'd be that close (their personalities are quite different) but they're besties and i now understand it. honestly, they bicker a lot but they compliment each other a lot so yeah, that's a great friendship right there 🤣 likewise, i say hao is my bias but the rest of svt are my bias wreckers. they're one of the only groups where it's difficult to choose a bias yk? 💔
