I had finally reached the pinnacle of my wrestling journey. Breaking through glass ceilings and overcoming every obstacle in my path, I had earned my place in the WWE. Tonight marked my debut on Smackdown, a moment I had dreamed of since my days as an NXT Women's Champion. The opportunity to contend for the vacant Smackdown Women's Championship against the likes of Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch was both thrilling and nerve-wracking.

As I stepped into the locker room, I couldn't believe I was sharing the space with legends like Mickie James. She had been my inspiration since I was young, and her mentorship had shaped me into the wrestler I had become. With her guidance, I had honed my skills and incorporated elements of her signature moves into my own repertoire.

But amidst the excitement of my debut, my mind couldn't help but wander to another wrestling icon – Dean Ambrose. Ever since his explosive debut alongside Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in 2012, I had been captivated by his presence. Obsessed and infatuated, I knew I had to make my mark in the WWE, not only for myself but to catch his attention. No obstacle or opponent would deter me from my goal of meeting him, of proving myself worthy of his admiration.

"Rory? How’re you feeling?" Mickie's voice interrupted my thoughts, bringing me back to the present. I greeted her with a smile, grateful for her support and guidance.

"Hey Mick! I'm feeling a mix of nerves and excitement," I confessed, knowing that tonight would be a pivotal moment in my career.

With a surge of adrenaline, I stepped through the curtain, greeted by the deafening cheers of the audience.

The match was a whirlwind of intensity and emotion as I faced off against Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch. Every move, every strike was executed with precision and determination, fueled by the desire to seize the championship title.

Despite the odds stacked against me, I refused to back down. With Mickie's teachings guiding me, I fought tooth and nail, refusing to let anything stand in the way of my dreams.

In the end, victory was within reach as I delivered the final blow, pinning Alexa Bliss for the win. The referee's hand slapped the mat for the three-count, and the crowd erupted into cheers as I was declared the new Smackdown Women's Champion.

The moment was surreal as I held the championship title high above my head, tears of joy streaming down my face. In that moment, I knew that all the sacrifices and struggles had been worth it.

But amidst the celebration, there was one person on my mind – Dean Ambrose. As I glanced towards the backstage area, I couldn't help but wonder if he was watching, if he had seen me achieve my greatest victory yet.

As the night drew to a close, I vowed to continue chasing my dreams, knowing that with determination and perseverance, anything was possible. And perhaps, one day, I would have the chance to meet the man who had inspired me from the very beginning.

Welcome to Fairfax Family Ministries!!

Hello, and welcome to the official blog for Fairfax Family Ministries! I’m Emily Anne, and this is my husband, Peter. We’re newlyweds living in a quaint little home in the town center of Henford-on-Bagley.

Peter works as a handyman for the Fairfax Family rental properties and I currently work from home as an online teacher for the same homeschool curriculum that I used growing up!

During our courtship, we spent many hours praying together and seeking counsel from both of our parents about whether or not I should continue teaching once we got married. Fortunately, everyone agreed that I should since I’m able to work from home and don’t have any little ones running around just yet. Obviously when we do have children being a mother will become my main focus, but in the meantime, I’m so glad to have the opportunity to be a resource and a blessing to homeschool students and their parents. Peter and I have even discussed writing our own homeschool curriculum together someday.

When Peter and I aren’t working, we both enjoy tending to the little garden that I planted in our backyard. We only have flowers and herbs for now, but in the future, we hope to expand our garden to grow our own fruits and vegetables right here at home! Since we both want a big family one day (Watcher-willing), this will be a cost-effective way to feed our children as healthy as possible.

At first, I was a little bit worried about moving to Henford-on-Bagley after the wedding since I grew up in Newcrest, but Peter is such a charismatic guy that he manages to make everyone we meet feel like old friends. Here he is chatting with some ladies that we met on our walk the other day. He noticed how one of the women was dressed and insisted on taking the time to share the gospel with her to remind her how sacred her body is. It’s such a shame how in this day and age so many women use the hot weather as an excuse to show their bodies off to anyone who walks past. I’m so grateful to have a husband who encourages me to maintain the principles of modesty that I was raised with. No short shorts for me!

That’s about it for us right now. We’re enjoying this honeymoon stage of getting to know each other as husband and wife, but also eagerly waiting and praying for what the Watcher has in store for our future! We’ve also been praying and seeking guidance from the Watcher regarding Peter’s career path. While my teaching salary is enough to supplement our income for now, it won’t be just the two of us for much longer. ;-) So hopefully in the Watcher’s timing Peter will find a new job that can sustain our growing family. Shreya’s parents Darshan and Bhani Kumari emigrated to the United States for medical school and both established names for themselves in the surgical community before they started their family. Inspired by her parents, Shreya had never considered another career path, carefully tailoring her life to set her up for medical school from a young age. Her parents were supportive, but strict, especially her father. His wish for her to be extraordinary put a bit of pressure on her growing up. Her parents were both very traditional and not wanting to disappoint them, Shreya kept her bisexuality a secret as she came to understand herself in her young teens.

She excelled in medical school at the University of Philadelphia. During undergrad, Shreya decided to come out to her parents with the support of her first girlfriend. This didn’t go over well with either parent, but her father was beside himself. Luckily, making friends came naturally for her, so she had been able to build up a support system around herself that she quite obviously lacked from her family. Her parents didn’t speak to her for a few years and as undergrad turned into med school she grew desperate for the guidance and support. In an attempt to appease them, she started dating one of their friend’s sons, Arjun. There had always been offhand comments about how their life paths were similar and their union would do both families well, anyway.

The chemistry wasn’t really there, but getting close to her parents again felt worth it, despite knowing that she wasn’t living as her true self. However, with added pressure of both sets of their parents about their relationship building too slowly, she soon found herself engaged and not long after that, pregnant toward the end of her second year of medical school. Their parents made it clear that they would bring shame to their families to have a child out of wedlock and the pressure to marry surmounted to a point that Darshan all but surprised her with a wedding. Shreya cracked under the pressure and admitted that she wasn’t in love with Arjun, much to his own astonishment and dismay.

She broke up with Arjun and as her third year started, she found herself alone in her pregnancy. Arjun’s parents had found a way to get him transferred to Hopkins and had plans to pretend the scandal of her soon to be daughter didn’t exist. Shreya always assumed Arjun had agreed to the plan, but years down the line she would find that wasn't the case. After her daughter Tanvi was born, Shreya’s parents were instantly in love. With the help of her strong group of friends and her parents beside her, Shreya excelled through her rotations and soon found herself with a surgical residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, with the intention of becoming a pediatric surgeon. 

Her parents started to come around to her bisexuality when they grew to love her first serious relationship after the disaster that Arjun had become, a fellow resident named Ivy. Shreya was well-liked by almost all in the program, apart from some that held the stigma of women with children in residency. During her forth year of residency during a late shift, Shreya found out that she was a little too well liked by one of her attendings. His romantic advancements toward her had grown incessant and her firm rejection was not met well. He told her she should be an easy lay, considering she’d had a child during her clinical rotations. She was able to get away, but instead of being met with understanding by the residency director, he warned her to keep it quiet if she didn’t want to lose her residency spot for her final year.

Shreya was terrified at the idea of losing her residency after all she had been through and she needed the eventual salary of an attending surgeon to give her daughter the life she deserved.  Regardless, she knew that the halls of the hospital would be too haunting for another year. She scrambled to find another program to accept a late term transfer with little hope, but she luckily was accepted at Seattle Grace Hospital. She completed her last year of residency two years after Meredith’s class and accepted a spot as a pediatric surgery fellow after Alex Karev had finished his. Shreya has been an attending pediatric surgeon ever since. Seattle Grace accepted her with open arms during one of the toughest spots of her life and she has yet to even consider leaving.

As a teacher for residents and fellows, she has a softer style than some. Firm, but supportive, Shreya knows her weaknesses and the domineering nature of some other doctors seemed outrageously ludicrous when she’d attempted it on her first class of interns for a couple of weeks. Shreya is refined and charismatic and can be the life of the party, but she also is known as one of the hospital’s biggest gossipers and is closed off with her own feelings even with those closest to her. Yet, she struggles with alone time and is ready to help anyone in need and is a great listener, eager to give advice when she has it. She is happy to remain an attending, but is eventually is convinced to accept the chief of peds position after Alex leaves. Arjun has found a tentative place in Tanvi's life after hearing about Shreya's success in Seattle.
