Title: Old ways don't open new doors

Summary: "Is that clear?" Carlos asked smiling. "This is when we should drink, the last one to realize it will drink, every time one of these things happens."

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Carlos asked, seeing what each had brought for the night.

"Sure!" Marjan said leaving the jars of honey and cream on the table. "What do you see that's weird?"

Carlos folded his arms and looked at the rest of the stuff. Mateo had brought the chili and the orange and lemon sodas and Nancy had brought all kinds of dried fruit. For his part, Paul had been in charge of the chocolate in all his feelings. Carlos and TK had bought all the drinks, technically alcoholic, but non-alcoholic.

"I don't know, maybe think I'm going to have diarrhea all day tomorrow if I drink something that puts this stuff together."

TK reached around his body from behind and rested his chin on his boyfriend's shoulder. He patted his chest a couple of times and turned back to his friends.

"Carlos my love, can you avoid being sirmpre such a cerebral guy and have a good time watching movies with your friends?"

"What I can think is that we're going to end up in the hospital with indigestion. Surely as firemen and paramedics you know that some of these mixtures are dangerous to the stomach."

"Calm down. We're going to let you pick the movie marathon we're going to do right guys?"

Paul and Marjan murdered TK with a glare, but by this time TK was more concerned about pushing Carlos onto the couch while listening to him protest, because he kept trying to make them all understand, that this could be fun mixing drinks of impossible flavors, but it would end very badly.

Once he had him on the couch, TK settled her head on his boyfriend's chest and sighed. "How many days have we worked non-stop these past two weeks without being like this, cuddling and…"

"Are you trying to take away all my self-doubt tonight?"

"Is it working?" TK asked looking up at Carlos with that look that looked like something out of an anime, almost glowing, almost bigger than normal.

Carlos kissed him back and wrapped his arms around his shoulders. "Then let's set the rules for the drinking game by watching the two Hoccus Poccus movies."

To their surprise, everyone was delighted with the idea because no one wanted to watch dramas, nor action movies after the last rescue. Besides the truth was that everyone had their own sense of humor to watch a comedy.

They rounded off the evening, literally with a few pizzas.

The game was easy and as soon as they let him set the rules for the game, as well as the mixes they had to make. They even let him put them in writing, print them out and leave them on the table.

Being a policeman helped Charles avoid drinking, mixtures of honey with chili and the like. For Paul, who noticed everything before any of his classmates, it was child's play. Marjan and Nancy were amused to taste some of the mixtures that were being prepared and were surprised at how some of the flavors could be really good.

However, Mateo and TK soon took the lead in drinking the most and by the time the first movie was over, they were both in the bathroom having a good time. On the way out, TK settled against Carlos and sighed to feel what he was hugging.

"Do you want me to cue you when necessary to avoid drinking so much with the second movie?"

"Nah, that would be cheating," TK said looking at all the bottles and jars that were still half on the table.

He was about to throw up again and when he realized it, Carlos nuzzled his side and kissed his neck. "We don't have to play."

"You love this game, because you love to win."

"I love winning."

"Then let's win this game, at least you'll win and I'll win that tomorrow, you take care of me put a hot water bottle on my kidneys and let me spend the day glued to you like a cat."

"You could do that without taking a brevity of coke, cream and a spoonful of nutella that Marjan is preparing for the first round."

"Whew…" TK ran his hand over his belly. "Will you?

"Take care of you on our day off? Have you on the couch all day with the blanket or get us up late so you can have breakfast and white rice in bed? I assure you, I can't see a better way to spend a Sunday with you."

TK nodded, closed his eyes for a moment and settled better against Carlos' body.

"Well, what?" Nancy asked. "Shall we continue with our of movies and the game?"

Everyone nodded, even TK, but Carlos squeezed his waist. "No, TK and I passed, one of us has a vowel in his stomach. But I for one have been looking forward to Hoccus Poccus 2 ever since I heard they were making it."

TK threw up a couple more times but spent the next thirty hours snuggled up against Carlso's body and that made any stomach pain worth it.

I zoomed in on Oscar from this video of the cool down room bc I'd assumed like the caption that Oscar was giggling too but !!

mans looked pissed and didn't laugh with Carlos and George at all until George said "ahhh we shouldn't laugh" and at that point he does a smile but it slips off pretty fast and he does that little huff and goes back to being tired

like the earnest and loyal young teammate who's also gradually becoming friend to Lando, puffing up in outrage on his behalf

vs the older brothers/longtime friends to Lando who have a chuckle over that moment the same way he does with them when he's in their position

idk it's just so unbearably cute how Oscar's loyalty to Lando and him wanting to join in with the big boys play out but the loyalty to Lando winning just like how he chose not to hold his own trophy the way he and Lando usually do in the post race video bc that would be rubbing it in too much ;__;

Love the new headcanons for the Baby!Loscar au!! Though the second Logan and Oscar start walking they are going to need leashes or they're going to runaway to find their best friend and get lost in the paddock

They will absolutely be leash kids. Kids are curious by nature and they want to explore the world around them with no understanding of consequences. Sure, some may frown upon it saying children aren’t dogs but they are people who have never had a child run into the direction of an oncoming vehicle.

Logan and Oscar are adventurous and bold, which is great for karting. It is not great for their parents’ blood pressure. There is a limit of how many times Oscar or Logan can book it out of hospitality before someone puts their foot down. Learning how to walk is one thing but walking and being able to open the doors of their rooms and playpens is another.

At the first the parents frowned upon it with Carlos and George saying their children were not dogs. That sentiment quickly changed when Logan booked it across the parking lot and almost gets hit by Toto’s Mercedes. Now since it was a parking lot, the car speed tends to be slower but that did not help anyone’s blood pressure that day.

So Logan and Oscar get little leash backpacks, bear and koala respectively. Logan tries to fight it like all toddlers do, kicking, yelling, rolling on the ground but his parent’s will not budge. He does give up, and relents to bring on a leash. No matter how cutely Logan begs and clings, neither James nor Toto or Jenson will free him from it.

Oscar does not kick or scream but he will lie on the floor in protest until his parent pick him up and carry him. He also gives in once he realizes no one will take pity on him. He has tried to run to Williams a couple times but was stopped by McLaren staff and Andrea Stella who carried him back like a sack of potatoes.

The other drivers vary on levels of amusement. Alonso and Max find it hilarious, especially when the kids try to book it while attached to the leash. Lewis feels bad for the kids but he was there when Logan almost got hit by Toto’s car so he doesn’t feel that bad. Charles almost frees them a couple times because they plead with him to but is quickly stopped by others.

when your 1st teammate you were assigned when you were 19 and shy and weird who took you to his cousin's wedding and basically sugar daddied/ dommed you into being a real adult before abandoning you for ferrari and you try to act very grown-up and mature now but part of you will always turn back into that blushing 19 year old when he gives you attention but it's really just carlando
