I've been requested to do some Wilbur Headcanons, so here we go! (Also, sorry for the delay, I've been struggling with writer's block again 😭 Send help.)

Here are some fun, super specific, random Wilbur Headcanons:

-Wilbur's first word was not "Mama" or "Dada." It was "Carl." 🤖

-He started talking in nearly-full sentences by the time he was three.

-He started walking at eight months, much to his parents' excitment...and horror. (A mobile baby Wilbur?! 👶😨)

-Franny and Cornelius had to up the security on babyproofing because he kept breaking into things that had locks on them. 😭

-Wilbur inherited the genius gene, but he doesn't like showing off his intelligence that much. He doesn't want to be seen as a show-off....most of the time. 🧠

-His strongest subject is math, but he hates it. 🤓

-He also really loves history, but he hates the subject in school. (Why are history teachers always so boring? 😴) He prefers learning history by time traveling.

-His favorite color for a very long time was green, but now it's blue.

-While he does still enjoy going back in time to visit his dad's younger self, he also will visit future Cornelius every now and then, but it's usually to seek advice about something he doesn't feel comfortable sharing with present Cornelius.

-Unfortunately, because of his dad's status in society and the whole "rich kid" stereotype, he doesn't have a lot of friends. Deep down it bothers him, but he's very good at putting on an air of nonchalance.

-His favorite holiday is April Fool's Day, followed very closely but Halloween. He and Bud will team up to prank the rest of the family for the entire month of April (because there are too many pranks to pull in one day!). 🃏

-His love language is words of affirmation, which make gift-giving holidays...a little awkward. 🎁😬 He still tries his best, though.

-When he does put effort into giving gifts, though, they're usually really thoughtful. Otherwise he just hand makes all of them.

-His biggest fear isn't death or oblivion (although they're pretty high on the list). It's disappointing his dad. 😔

-One time, he found a turtle on their property and hid it in his bedroom for two weeks until his parents found it. They made him release it back into the wild, and he never got over it. 😭🐢

-His favorite animal is the shark. They're misunderstood creatures of the sea and he feels bad for them. 🥲😭🦈

-Wilbur is polyamorous, and he definitely had a boyfriend and a girlfriend at the same time once. (He has a lot of love to give, okay? 😭🥹)

-He doesn't like showing affection that much, unless it's for someone he deeply cares about. Which is why he will, on very rare occasions, hug his parents. 😱🥰

-He may or may not be the reason Cornelius' pet lab rat mysteriously vanished. But that's up for debate. 👀

-He likes to hustle people, but for favors instead of money. This boy does NOT like doing chores. 😂

-He can type almost 100 words a minute. ⌨️🤯

-He started an anonymous online blog detailing his adventures of traveling to the future, and he's gathered quite the following. Then again, his followers think his stories are just science fiction, but his stories are riveting. They can't get enough.

-His pen name? "Captain Future." 🦸‍♂️✍️

Meet the Robinsons was released in theaters.

Today is the day my favorite Disney movie Meet The Robinsons was released so I wanted to make something to commemorate the thing. Honestly, it's been 18 YEARS already?! Wow, time really does fly doesn't it?

I wanted to do something different with the image rather than just have a few of the main characters posing in front of the Todayland city skyline. So I went around Google Images to find some Meet The Robinsons based merchandise or images for some ideas. I also looked around William Joyce's art for some ideas. I ended up having them posing in front of some kind of whimsical colorful polka-dot background that's loosely based on William Joyce's other work Rolie Polie Olie. The "frame" around the image was supposed to have a "Raygun Gothic" aesthetic to it, simply because the film kinda has that style on some things along with a "Frutiger Aero" feel for the backgrounds.

What I think each of the Robinsons would dress up as for Halloween 🎃

Bud: Headless horseman. He goes with the interpretation that has a pumpkin for a head and, of course, he puts in on backwards.

Fritz and Petunia: Fritz wears a more old-timey get up with a dark color palette and has Petunia look like a creepy, ghostly doll.

Joe: He doesn't wear a costume at first glance, and when asked the family's response is "He is wearing a costume, he's dressed up as a *chuckle* 'regular Joe'. Get it?" Either that, or I can also see him wearing a classic vampire costume.

Tallulah and Laszlo: Duo costume. Since Laszlo flies around all the time he dresses up as an angel, while Tallulah dresses up as a devil. Which would be a role reversal of sorts for them since he's usually the troublemaker of the two while she tends to be the voice of reason.

Billie: Since there's this connection often made between psychopomps and different modes of transportation (boats, buses, and of course, trains) I can see her dressing up as the Grim Reaper.

Lefty: A Kraken, pretty self explanatory.

Spike and Dimitri: Since their whole thing is how they are literally just heads poking out of the dirt, zombies.

Lucille: I headcanon her to be a chemist, so I figure she would dress up as a witch, formulas translating into potions in this case.

Cornelius: Frankenstein.

Carl: Frankenstein's monster. Again, these two are pretty self-explanatory.

Franny: Either some kind of bog/swamp creature or the Phantom of the Opera. Radically different costumes, but I think either one would be fitting for her given her love of frogs and music.

Gaston: His whole thing is cannons, so I can see him dressing up as a pirate, specifically an undead pirate captain who went down with his ship, because of course he would also come up with an elaborate backstory for his costume.

Art: Kind of a reach, but I can see him dressing up as a werewolf, because he works in space, and the moon, and well...you guys get it.

Tiny: The family gets him a pair of wings, comically small of course, and he's a dragon now. He loves it.

Buster: The family gets him one of those little pumpkin dog costumes.

Wilbur: A ghost. Either he goes with the classic white sheet with eyeholes, or he gets Tallulah to help him get some old timey clothes, face paint that makes him look dead, and chains ala Marley's ghost. Either way, he uses a pair of hover-boots his dad invented to fly around.
