LMAOOO but fr. it may have been like one single line/offhanded comment from bruce but like...it seriously showed the fic author's ignorance when aboriginal people been telling people to stop climbing uluru for many many many many years (fic was only written a few years ago too)

i also looked through the comments to see if anyone had mentioned it and someone actually DID and actually educated the author about it but...author never responded 💀 but they responded to all the other ones though.

the are under a read more because i may have gotten a tad bit over enthusiastic about the example images. 

i’m perpetually fascinated by the technology and the things it produces, and am always kinda sad when people are like “no we meant fabrics” when they ask about textiles. Like the strings and weaving is cool as hell my dudes please enjoy them

A Jawun/small basket made of plant fibre, plant fibre string and red ochre. I can’t find who or which Country it belongs to but its from the South Australian Museum (x)

A shell head band made of nautilus shell and bark-fibre string from Guugu Yimithirr Country, near Cooktown (x)

so I've already watched Woolie and Reggie play SH1 and SH3 (because they're connected I thought it'd be best to watch those two first) now I'm onto SH2 and honestly? loving that Reggie's go to reaction to Laura is "should of equipped the handgun" to meeting her a second time and "yo square up!" Reggie's hands are rated E for everybody 😭

AHDHSHDHW I WAS WONDERING WHAT YOU’D THINK IF YOU SAW THAT. 😂

Reggie’s on sight policy with a fictional ~8 (?) year old is only matched by how fast he goes from “idk how I feel about killing a human when we haven’t killed any other humans in this game” to “nvm lol dirt nap” when Eddie gives his speech about the dog.

But I get it. Plus it’s not like Reggie’s mom watches the streams or anything. lmfaooooo. 😭😂

(Also his reactions to 1.) the second message in the bar that addresses James directly and 2.) the moment in the underground prison/historical society where you go in the cell to get one of the plaques for the gallows and the door temporarily jams on you are GOLD. The whole playthrough is incredible — esp. the end and post game discussion — but yeah. So many good moments lol.)

I LOVE when they have equal but opposite reactions like that lmao. I’m in Reggie’s camp tho. I went in with massive spoilers and my jaw pretty much unhinged at that credits drop to the point I was just like “well, the choreography is nice ig.” 😂 So I feel that reaction.

okay so Luality is at it again! (the woman who defeated the Nameless King on dance pad )is now playing Elden Ring but is using full body controls (she has to use her body to play) 😭 its so impressive but man that's gotta be exhausting, honestly she shouldn't surprise me anymore but she just keeps upping the game.

okay but watching Woolie and Reggie having trouble trying to start silent hill 3 just makes me laugh so hard because i have a feeling that's what the rest of the game is gonna be like 😭 ex. the health status being fucked randomly. Also didn't realise they had twitch too, which would explain why I'm seeing the second episode of their SH3 gameplay just now 😂 But yeah I'm really enjoying them so far! thankyou for recommending them!

Fhfhfhsfhd I’m glad you’re enjoying them! They’re a lot of fun to watch. They split their twitch streams up into ~30-60 min long videos for YouTube and trim a little bit of the fat (breaks and stuff), but they’re actually all the way up to the locked door you have to jump onto the tracks for in the subway.

They have a highlights channel too!

I also love how chaotic them just trying to get a decent copy of SH3 to *run* is tho. And I’m still baffled at their copy starting up in Spanish too lmao — I’m used to jank with these PC ports, but that’s new. It’s insane that it’s still the better choice compared to the HD collection — that version of Silent Hill 3’a audio is totally fucked, the new VA’s are horrible and I think they just dubbed directly over the old audio, and it just randomly shuts down and corrupts your save so finishing the game comes down to pure luck lol.

I’m also honestly wondering what ending they’re gonna get with how aggressive Woolie is playing this one in comparison to SH2, too. 🤔 (Granted I also make most of my kills in the mall as well, but yeah lol.)

okay! so nier replicant break,im up to the mansion and its probably my favourite place so far,i was gonna say Forest of Myth but im enjoying the mansion a lot more. im really loving the music,it actually surprised me the range,like i was getting Ghost in the Shell (anime) ost from it (the start) so that kinda set the tone for me but a lot has changed and im really enjoying the scenery and music that goes with it. ALSOOO the game is totally not what i expected(so far) i was expecting more Automata?i havent played it but like ive seen a lil bit .😂 Im very keen to see more.

Nier: Automata actually takes place thousands of years after Nier’s fourth ending — that’s why you’re not seeing much of it.

The games similar in aesthetic to a degree, and take place on an alternate timeline in the Drakengard series, but are dramatically different experiences. Like the things that link them together are really slight to the point they do work on their own lol. That’s why I was saying you can play either one first or alternate between games — one won’t spoil the other.

Automata actually does go full Ghost in the Shell (1995) with its whole take on what it means to be human/humanity existing within an artificial body, etc. It basically does what Detroit Become Human thought it was doing lol.

If you like the music now, just wait till you get to Automata. It’s some of the best music I’ve ever heard in a game (no spoilers). Drakengard 3 did this same kind of thing where a boss’s voice/scream/yawn/laugh morphed into their theme song and it was incredible.
