once you got home, alexia went straight upstairs into your shared bedroom changing for a shower, “y/n cariño are you showering with me?”

you rushed into the master bedroom taking your shorts and sports bra off as you were eager to get to alexia. she was in the shower facing the wall you thought she looked good from behind. her ass is incredible.

finally you decided to wear some caramel dress trousers and a white vest top paired with your dior high tops, gold rolex, cartier bangle and chunky rings.

your girlfriend decided on a black crop top with extra ties and a matching black ruched skirt. she left her hair looking wet pushed back out of her face, alexia put light eyeshadow on with lashes and a red lip, "what jewellery shall i wear?"

"definitely gold so maybe your hoops and the gold rolex i got you." you suggested, which she agreed putting them on.

"and my shoes?"

"your red jordans 100%." you implied.

"you have such good taste, i know i can count on you." alexia smiled kissing your lips lightly.

"ale!" You groaned.

"you got your lipstick on me." she wiped your lips with her finger, "no kissing me all night."

"but y/n, that's gonna be so hard you look so good." alexia smirked.

“you’re just gonna have to behave."

"i will try my hardest ." alexia raised a brow grabbing her bag.

after the couple picked up patri and piña they drove to the open air restaurant, their head coach had invited the team out for a celebratory dinner.

of course they were the first of the players to arrive, alexia was always good with her timing, arriving first to everything.

"hola bona nit.” each of the greeted.

"sit, sit." he pointed at the rather long table.

you and alexia sat near the head of the table as the staff sat next to jonatan who was at the end with patri and piña sitting opposite you. once everyone arrived jonatan handed your girlfriend the trophy placing it in between you both.

"mi reina." You mumbled into alexia's ear, a smile appeared upon her lips.

"mi querida." she looked at you with loving eyes.

everyone had eaten and drinks were flowing, you were finishing third estrella whereas your girlfriend was finishing her fourth strawberry daiquiri. mapi danced over to the table with a large jug of sangria, "let's get this party started!"

you all cheered, mapi filling fresh wine glasses to the brim with the beverage. you placed your hand on alexia's bare thigh making her flinch at the coldness of your rings, "lo siento."

she brushed her thumb over your knuckle reassuring you that she was fine.

jonatan told everyone to grab a photo with the trophy in which you all did, "campeonas! campeonas !" cata and mapi started shouting dancing around with her flag that she bought with her.

eventually you all floated off to manuelas which you were looking forward to. As soon as you entered, you were stamped with a 'manuelas' tattoo and lots of stickers.

you got the love was playing a slowish song so you dragged your girlfriend to the dance floor slinging her arms around your neck. slowly dancing and singing the lyrics with your teammates.

she returned the favour, flipping your body over onto the door, pulling your straps of your vest top down taking it off with your bra. alexia attached her lips to your neck, kissing and sucking at it moving down to your breasts, "ale."

she just looked at you innocently, "you want this right?"

you nodded in response and she set to work taking your nipple into her mouth, swirling her tongue around it adding a light suction. At this point alexia's lipstick had smeared all over your body but you were too busy to care.

"ale! y/n!" a voice called from outside the cubicle, of course it was ana.

her voice pulled you out of the messy fog, "yes what?"

"if your gonna have sex, go home." she yelled as you quickly put your clothes on and opened the door.

“how did you know?" alexia furrowed her eyebrows.

"look at the state of y/n for a start!” your body was absolutely covered in alexia's lipstick.

"ah well i-."

"save it, just go home i've ordered you an uber and pick your car up in the morning." ana said leaving the bathroom.

"gracias ana!" you pulled a face as you left the club.

"we can continue this at home, mi reina." you smirked getting in the taxi.

Last Invictus she wore Brandon Maxwell, Ralph Lauren, Khaite, Veronica Beard, Valentino and Celine with tons of Cartier jewellery. I can't wait to see who she's going to wear this year since she dropped even from the American high fashion level.

She's either digging deep into the pockets for new Valentino or Celine, since she probably won't show up anywhere in Dior again, or the mid range American (specifically Californian) brands since they are seemingly the only ones willing to pay her for exposure.

Hello I'm new here. Just wanted to ask cause I'm a bit confused. What is a "High Jewelry Tiara" and how does it differ from a 'normal tiara?🤔

Oh, that's what I call the series I do of tiaras that are made by jewelers for their high jewelry collections because I'm very creative. It's basically just a modern tiara that was not made for a specific person and that anyone could buy if they were like a billionaire or something.

High jewelry is the jewelry equivalent of haute couture so each piece is made by hand using really high quality materials and is usually one of a kind. You'll also see it called haute joaillerie or occasionally alta gioielleria. I don't know why it gets translated but haute couture does not. For the big jewelry houses like Boucheron and Chaumet, the release of their high jewelry collections often coincides with when fashion houses release their haute couture collections. I kind of fudge the definition a bit with the inclusion of tiaras made with less precious materials like those by Axenoff and Maria Nilsdotter but I want to feature them so I do.

You can see all of the High Jewelry Tiaras series so far here and there are still a bunch that I haven't made posts for yet. Unlike with clothing, jewelry houses don't release their full collection publicly which annoys me. There will be a set group that's in all of the magazines and on social media but the full collection can only be seen by a select few. Sometimes I think that's changing and then I'll stumble across a Cartier tiara that wasn't included in the promo materials for a new collection and I get frustrated all over again.

Do you know any similar bracelets and jewelry to Cartier Love Bracelets, that are just really basic and simple? I want to buy some jewelry that can be worn anywhere.

The Love Bracelet is the ultimate basic rich girl bracelet. I don’t really wear mine anymore but I used to wear it all the time, it’s ubiquitous and can be worn with any casual daytime outfit without causing any undue fuss or attention. The Love Bracelet is weird because it’s so well-known, everyone and their mother has a rep these days and it’s seen on the wrists of prostitutes and princesses, and yet it can still somehow go unnoticed as long as you don’t actually jangle it in people’s faces. From afar it looks like a simple gold or silver bangle, it’s unobtrusive and honestly, I do think that every girl could do with having a 15-dollar rep tucked in the back of her jewellery box, just in case.

Basic simple bangles:

The basic, simple bangle is what I prefer over the Love Bracelet these days. You can show a bit more character, go vintage or niche, designer or high street, and have a little fun with it. I love my vintage Gucci bamboo bangle and I wear it all the time, and I collect enamel bangles from Michaela Frey, too. I’ve chosen a selection of gold-plated bangles (all—apart from Olivia Le—also available in silver!) that I think are fun but simple enough to go with everything, but you could really put anything in this category, it all depends on your personal style. Wear them stacked or on their own, they work both ways and give a little lift to an otherwise boring outfit.

Love bracelet dupes:

These are just a few dupes (i.e. Cartier ‘inspired’ pieces) I found whilst looking through the ‘product’ section on Google. The Love Bracelet is iconic and has been copied and reinterpreted by almost every brand, and I’m fairly sure you could get a dupe at Claire’s at this point if you looked hard enough. I’ve linked pieces at a range of price points from brands I trust not to steal your money or break upon first wear; there are a lot of shady jewellery sites these days, and not only the cheap ones, either, so if you’re looking for an ‘inspired’ bracelet rather than a straight-up fake, then I recommend you stick to known brands and mid-tier jewellery houses.

Straight-up reps:

If you live in, or are going to soon visit, South or West Asia, then get yourself down to the jewellery district, into the bazaar or souk, and find yourself a decent jeweller or gold merchant. It’s almost too easy to find perfect, solid gold replicas of one of the world’s most famous bracelets. The same goes for Southeast Asia, I know several excellent jewellery merchants in Indonesia and Malaysia who do amazing replicas and fantasy pieces from all the big houses. What I will say is that gold is soft, and scratches easily—genuine Love Bracelets notoriously scratch like hell, and all the solid gold replicas I’ve seen have scratched equally as badly.

I personally think that, unless you’re in pursuit of 1:1 perfection, then you’re better off buying stainless steel from China. It won’t scratch as much, and it’s cheap. There are two factories producing the largest proportion of replica Love Bracelets in China, and they both make at what I’d consider to be a low-mid tier, the interior details of the bracelets are incorrect and the screws are set too deep, but unless you take it off and show it to people who have an eye for jewellery and the authentic bracelet on hand for reference, nobody is going to call you out. There’s no point, in my view, in paying hundreds for 18k Chinese reps when you could contact an Indonesian or Indian or Emirati merchant and have the same thing for much less, and there’s no point in buying mid-tier through WhatsApp sellers when they source from exactly the same factories as DHGate and AliExpress. I’d drop links but they’d expire quickly anyway, so just go on AliExpress, find yourself a jewellery seller with over a 97% approval rating and reviews with photographs, message the shop and ask for real photos before you buy, pay like £25 max for your bracelet and go off on your merry way.

The mysterious continent of Africa represented a mine of inspiration for Louis Cartier who did not hesitate to imbue their jewellery and watches with hints of the exotic. With the apparition of discreet black onyx spots of a panther on a diamond Cartier watch in 1914, the famed jewellery house not only established the panther as their creative emblem, it heralded the beginning of Cartier’s long history of creating animal-themed jewellery, watches and clocks, inspired by the fauna of all continents.

This is the background from which emerged the most heavily bejeweled clock of the collection. Adorned with a vividly coloured gem-set parrot spreading its wings while perched on a stand, this timepiece is a veritable masterpiece of haute joaillerie. Reminiscent of the Duchess of Windsor’s famous flamingo and the beautifully sculpted menagerie of birds and animals portrayed in the watch collection of Le Cirque Animalier, this exquisite parrot clock set with almost 250 carats of rubies, emeralds, sapphires, yellow and white diamonds, reaffirms Cartier’s historic virtuosity in the creation of modeled animals and the abundant creativity of their designers.

The present clock is set with 240 diamonds weighing approximately 6.40 carats, 1248 yellow diamonds weighing approximately 29.90 carats, 1147 rubies weighing approximately 87.00 carats, 102 emeralds weighing approximately 81.00 carats and 382 sapphires weighing approximately 45.60 carats.
