2020 Edith VS 2023 Edith

After seeing @stargazer-sims showed off original versions of Victor and Yuri to current I knew I had to do it with my OG baby Edith (She's an icon on my simblr) but I also grabbed her original hair so I can take the photo with my current reshade (The original pic is without reshade😨I'll put it below before the keep reading) also fun fact I picked the eye color first then did everything else.

So the black hair red steak is the first one and she is all maxis match expect for her tattoos and eyebrows because if you haven't heard the story she was actually original created for a Bachelorette Challenge for an old simmer's (they left) version Alexander Goth; I fell in love with her and she didn't get picked anyway probably because I didn't know about reshade or custom lighting so I took the photos in game with the in game lighting 💀 and I was/still a small simblr. plus this is back before the skin update (which I had to adjust her skin as she had a yellow undertone my older mutuals will remember how bad it was)

Now the Edith you guys know (I decided to use Serendipity Edith) is Maxis Mix leaning more towards alpha, she still has her maxis skin overlay along with an alpha one, she does have a nose mask too but I've never edited her features and not even her lips that's just what that red lipstick cc does (I doubled checked) and this is why I will only use pralinesims makeup.

No reshade, no lighting mod, no cas lighting and before the skin update.

When doing this though I thought I notice the body shape had changed slightly

I do know I actually changed her height of her breast because the original was way too high I think back then I forgot about them like the side profiles 🤣

okay but you see sam has ALSO fallen for dean's act. sam also believes dean to be the macho, daddy's soldier, beer boobs cars guy he presents himself as. this is why sam makes fun of dean whenever he even lightly steps out of that mold and thinks it's harmless banter instead of attacking an insecurity. it's why he laughs when john talks down to dean in the early seasons and it's why he seems surprised when dean is more comfortable with himself in the later seasons. it's why he just scoffs but doesn't push it when dean puts up a front and refuses to talk about his emotions and just accepts whatever excuse he makes at face value. it's why he offers dean a strip club to make him feel better when cas dies. and this isn't his fault!! dean has spent a very long time perfecting this image in front of everyone and ESPECIALLY to sam because along with it comes safety and security and stability and the only person. who has consistently been able to see through it. is castiel

I'm not a huge shipper in general but it kinda makes me annoyed that this fandom seems to think people who ship or like sastiel are just doing it to like...spite fans of destiel. like I promise cas and sam's relationship is interesting enough on its own lmao

I think i have a Type in ships…

First, there is the one character, the one we get to know closer first,

He‘s a dude who is amazing, with his entrance he is immedeatly the Favourite character,

We also find out that he has a brother who is generally annoyed by him and done with his shit,

But anyways, back to the ship. Character A also got a father who is seen as THE guy (either by everyone of just him)

Now to Character A‘s personality. He is super hot and a real Ladies guy

… except that he‘s not

He cant hold a relation ship with a woman for his dear life.

But anyways, when the big bad evil hits and all seems lost and horrible

BOOM, Character B makes an dramatic, explosive and intense entrance!

Talking about character B, lets look at his personality:

He is very powerful and can do cool magic

And he is generally unimpressed by Character A‘s bullshit

But, after all, they absolutely adore eachother and are a perfect ship

I was inspired by @rebelangelsims to take a look at my most recently created sim versus the oldest sim in my library. So, here we go!

This is the oldest sim in my library. His name is Zachary, and according to the creation date listed for him, he entered the sim world on 15 February 2015. I'm sure I made sims before him, as I had Sims 4 before that, but I got a new computer at the beginning of 2015 and probably couldn't figure out how to transfer files.

Side note... I didn't get another new computer after that until April 2023 *dead*

And here is the newest sim in my library, Mishka. He was created on 4 September 2023.

Weirdly, they seem to have a resemblance?

Ok I think some wires are getting crossed here. When I say that I like characters like Lucifer and John to be complex, I don’t necessarily mean subtle or “nuanced,” I mean simply: talk about the parts that make them interesting without fear of being labelled a stan.

I like the crunchy bad parts, of course. But it’s also feels good to note when they get scapegoated unfairly or have glimmers of goodness. Or when our faves echo their/actions and behavior, like grace cannibalism. That’s the tension.

Example: In order for Sam and Dean, and especially Dean (disorganized, insecurely attached), to grow as he did, John had to be unpredictable, and that’s what’s I find interesting. He likely had moments of extreme neglect followed by almost inexplicable warmth (like their New York trip referenced in season 10).

Example: Lucifer gets blamed for things Lucifer didn’t do. That’s not controversial. We saw Chuck abuse and discard Lucifer in real-time on our screens, and Chuck posited it as an “inevitability,” not a consequence of his own actions.
