A chat with some residents of Greece
I enjoy the occasional banter with people, so on my recent trip to Greece, I interviewed some of the locals while I was out and about exploring their beautiful city.
Here's what some of them had to say:
"American tourists are the worst," - Nikolas, a security officer at the Acropolis who shared with us who he thinks are the worst tourists
"Me no speak English," - Katia, a ticketing officer at the Acropolis who actually spoke perfect English
"We're not paid enough, so we are just going to ignore you and take a nap instead," - Alexandros & Helena, student archaeologists studying marble columns at the Acropolis
"My sister ran away with my husband," - Cherry, a second-hand bookstore owner, when asked why she looked sad
"Eat my shit," - Cora, a sales assistant at a tourist gift store, when I said that she was blocking the path
"I'll answer your question if you give me some catnip," - Zeus, a young school student
I guess they're not all that different whichever part of the world they're from eh?
*shrugs*

Miyo come from “amore mio” in Italian.
Miyo means also “charming child” in Japanese
*He’s spoiled since he’s a baby by his mom (me)
