"It's just a silly comedy," I think to myself, "I'm not going to get brain worms about it," I insist, ignoring the fact that I am the getting-brain-worms-about-silly-comedies person

insane ass dynamic??? sherlock asks watson if she actually committed the crime she's being charged with (brutally beating a serial killer to death after he tried to kill her) with full assurances that he'd help her get away with it and she's like "NO. so did you do it?" cause like five episodes ago the two of them had seriously considered murdering him with heroin because he pissed them off so much it would be worth the stain on sherlock's relationship with sobriety and holmes has to be like "omg nooooo nooo i would have told you!"

I actually really love the anticlimax of the 60's hyped up meeting being a zoom meeting that only 16 of them attend. so much of the show is about how fickle and personal Evil acts are, yes they are gross and disgusting, but also systematised and impersonal. and what better way to represent that than showing Leland trying to tell a demon what the mute button looks like.

Elementary s1 e13, the red team, is so good because it’s the opposite of Sherlock. Sherlock has this message of “he thinks he’s special, and he’s right, so everyone should appreciate that and respect him”
This episode of elementary says “he thinks he’s special, and he’s right, but his self-centered attitude hurts people and makes him untrustworthy to the point where even people he cares about don’t feel like they know who he is, and in the long run, it’s going to be detrimental to everyone involved if he doesn’t change”
