Hi all, I have 3 stories that are close to being done, but I don’t know which one to focus on to finish so I’ll have all of you beautiful people choose:

Story 1: Attribute theft via a game of Jenga between a sorority president and her victim.

Story 2: A found pair of headphones corrupt a kind hearted girl into being a vapid influencer

Story 3: A girl’s best friend returns from a year abroad changed into a blonde trophy, soon to be, wife.

imagine one evening, Alphonse is lying next to Boo when they’ve already fallen asleep. He’s also sleepy, but his thoughts are keeping him up.

It surprised him when he found out he was Boo’s first relationship. Out of anyone they had ever met, they chose him. They had waited patiently for all these years to find someone and then they met him and decided he was worth a chance.

Al’s not sure what they saw in him, but if being with him makes them happy, happier than they’ve ever been before, then perhaps it’s worth it.

Sugarboo and Alphonse said farewell to Seth as he rode off on his motorcycle, Betty in hand.

It had been a lot of stress to get the two boys to a point where they didn't want to strangle each other, but to Sugarboo it was worth it.

The two flopped onto Al's couch, happy to be done with that situation when Alphonse spoke up,

"let's just hope that when your ex comes to town, it's not as difficult to deal with" he joked, turning to Sugarboo.

"well that won't be much of a problem," they said quietly, nervous to tell Alphonse, "Because I don't have any exes."

"wait, what?" Alphonse was confused, "what do you mean you don't have any exes?"

"I mean, you're my first ever relationship." Sugarboo hid their face in their hands, "I never really found that... Connection with anyone else."

Alphonse just sat there in shock for a moment. He was Sugarboo's first relationship? He couldn't believe it. All this time, they hadn't been able to find a connection with someone, but they had found one in him?

Sugarboo yawned then and changed the conversation. "As much as I love talking with you Al, I'm really tired"

"oh yeah, me too," Alphonse smiled as he looked down where Sugarboo had laid their head on his shoulder, "wanna cuddle?"

"is that even a question?" Sugarboo giggled as they turned to wrap Alphonse in a big embrace, giggling as he maneuvered the both of them to lay comfortably on the couch together.

"good night boo," Alphonse kissed the top of their head once they were comfortable.

"mmm, g'night Al," Sugarboo was already dozing off, content.

Alphonse just smiled at them as he too tried to go to sleep.

But no matter how hard he tried, his mind kept on wandering to what Sugarboo had said. It was still so astonishing that Alphonse was their first ever relationship. He, out of everyone that Sugarboo had met on their journey of life, was the first person whom they fell for.

He didn't know what it was about him, maybe the charm, maybe the good looks, maybe the attitude. But deep down, he knew. It wasn't because of how he was as a person, no, it was something deeper than that.

Seth had always gone on about magic and fate and Mothman or whatever, and Alphonse always thought it was silly. But now, here he was, with his beloved Boo, and he gets it now.

They were fated to be together, to love each other, to be each other's whole world

And Alphonse wouldn't have it any other way.

If you're still answering questions- did you have any inspirations in mind when creating the characters? If thats too much to answer then perhaps just Johann specifically? He is giving Mr. Darcy in the best way

Hello! I am absolutely answering questions, and thank you for asking one! I told myself that I would take two weeks off of dev stuff but here I am, already plotting out how Day 2 is going to go haha

As for character inspiration, there have been a LOT of characters that have inspired me! I'm a big Pride & Prejudice fan myself, and while Johann wasn't intentionally pulling Mr. Darcy (I'm a longtime fan of the 1995 BBC mini-series adaptation) I can definitely see where you're coming from!

Before I started on CC, I had a few different OCs floating around my brain that eventually coalesced into the Johann we know today! Johann actually really solidified in my mind while I was sketching out his different expressions way earlier in development. I wanted someone who was deeply obsessed with the MC (naturally) and willing to do just about anything to get them. At first, I was imagining a more moody, taciturn version of Johann, who desired power for power's sake, and believed that acquiring power would eventually let him marry whomever he chooses-- like getting so OP that no one can really tell him who to marry anymore, given his status.

From there, I started thinking about how that might work in high-class social circles. Moodiness isn't exactly a great trait for making connections in business, so I did some reworking and decided that he'd be the type to maintain composure in almost any situation. Frankly, I find that kind of personality to be more frightening.

Later, I started developing characters that would eventually be his school chums (they'll be revealed in Day 2) and I realized that the composed persona crumbling in front of the right people could be super entertaining!

I am a longtime P&P fan but Jane Austen's characters tend to be (imo) less conniving and more... gentle, I guess? There's an element of comfort and decency that I find in Austen's characters, and I love that about them! But my characters are distinctly a little more... Brontë adjacent, I'd say? I'm definitely going for something more gothic and tangled.

TL;DR Johann has more social skills than Darcy but much fewer scruples lol

is the actual pattern of white spotting genetic? theres these two cats on youtube (mother and daughter) who have a spot on their muzzle in about the same place so i was wondering

We have a fairly good hint for that, i think: cloned cats.

The differences between the donor and the clone shows how much of it is random:

These are the very first pair: Rainbow, the tortie is the donor and CC, the tabby is her clone. You can see how the amount of the white is roughly the same but the exact shape is different. (Rainbow's color goes down onto both of her forelegs, CC has a higher and wider triangle on her face, they have colored splatches on different legs. However both of them have mostly white ears.)

Two other examples: Garlic

and Bear.

This latter one is especially interesting, because both clone kittens have the characteristic face pattern in a very similar fashion.

I think I am reusing certain women's names over and over and need some fresh ideas. Please sound off in the comments with some ideas for names that sound hot, bitchy and mean. Bonus points if they can be shortened or lengthen like Rebecca becoming Becky or vice versa

I’m not sure why, but whatever kind of Jessie and Sugarboo share is very special to me

I think their relationship is a mutual understanding of what has happened to Seth and Alphonse from opposite sides

Jessie is the reason the two got into all of this gang stuff, and she wishes she never knew Derick existed

Sugarboo is helping the boys heal from their past. They are the boy's strength, as well as their weakness (which is used against the boys at the end of ch 3)

They are the ying to the others yang, and understand their role in the boy's lives, both the good and bad

The demo already had me baffled and full of questions, one of my biggest questions is what exactly happened to the MC (Vesta) in the bad ending? Did he trap us IN the red gemstone? Did we *TURN INTO* a gemstone?!!?!! (┛ಠДಠ)┛彡┻━┻ I'm not sure which one is worse....

Also, Johann seemed awfully familiar with turning people (or...trapping them) into a gems...

ALSO ALSO are we able to meet one of the women that Johann had married before from the gossip at the bar in the future???

Hiiii I’m so glad that you like it! Regarding the gemstone, I’m afraid that’s something of a spoiler— in this case, feel free to speculate away! That’s why I left that ending a smidgen ambiguous! ☺️

As for the gossip at the tavern, I apologize if it was unclear— they’re talking about the older Count Dantalion, Johann’s father! There’s a juicy mystery unfolding on a multigenerational level in this game :D
