Monster Musume Chapter 3 Reimagined
Meeting a Centaur
Two weeks after meeting Papi...
Kimihito departs from the supermarket clutching four grocery bags filled with numerous products; mainly food. Kimihito is understandably disconcerted by the increased financial burden he bears thanks to Papi's arrival. His finances were already challenging with Miia living in his home. Now, he needed to reconsider his spending habits going forward. As Kimihito nears his house, he is suddenly sent tumbling to a nearby stop sign, hitting it hard. His grocery bags are sent in different directions; food products strewn all across the street. Someone had knocked into Kimihito without the latter seeing them coming. It's a centaur. A young female centaur who just reached adulthood. She proudly introduces herself as Centorea Shianus while showing herself off flamboyantly.
She follows up with the question, "Are you my soul mate?". But Centorea notices Kimihito's limp body & goes to help him up. Thankfully, Kimihito suffered no life-threatening injuries, much to his relief & surprise. She even helps Kimihito collect the products scattered across the street. After regaining his composure, Kimihito got a good look at the young centaur. Her skin is bright & vibrant; not a single blemish or scar to be seen. Her attire consists of a sleeveless button-up shirt, a black sizable black kilt wrapped around her lower body, & a sword of European origin strapped to her race. Her ears are elongated & pointy; they match the color of her long ponytail. Her human body is well built. Her bust size is quite big, almost as big as Miia's. Her arms & mid-section are toned & lean. It could be compared to a UFC fighter.
Kimihito introduces himself to Centorea & then chastises her for recklessly running into him. Furthermore, he states he is not her soulmate. Centorea is noticeably sheepish & saddened by her actions & apologizes to Kimihito. Kimihito accepts the apology & asks why she was out by herself without a host family. Centorea explains she was actually looking for a host family to live with. She believed she would be successful if she followed the actions of people from outlandish "Japanese spells" in great detail. Kimihito exclaims these "love spells" are actually cheap manga stories solely made for fan service. Once again, Centorea feels rather sheepish of this. Kimihito then excuses himself to call Agent Smith for possible answers. Being the excessively lazy agent she was, Smith is of little help. The most she does is briefly explain the Centaur tradition of going off on their own to find their personal rider, hence why Centorea was searching for a host family. This rider is meant to be a centaur's soulmate for life. Smith ends to phone call, telling Kimihito to look after her. Kimihito is left frustrated. But soon after this, he & Centorea bear witness to a purse snatcher stealing a nearby woman's purse on a scooter.
Kimihito states the thief has been snatching purses left & right for some time. Furious, Centorea swears by her sword she will find & apprehend him no matter what. She even states she wanted to chase down the thief & turn him into the authorities. However, due to the strict "No violence" rule between humans & demi-humans, Centorea is unable to inflict any harm on the perpetrator. Hence why she sought a host family; to fight by her side. Given the fact is the only capable human in her vicinity, Centorea essentially forces him to accompany her. Kimihito isn't against helping Centorea and attempts to hop onto the young centaur. However, Centorea rebukes his actions & lashes out with a kick.
She angrily exclaims she is not a horse & will not be treated as such. Kimihito then argues, while bleeding from the head, how he's supposed to accompany her.
The purse snatcher speeds recklessly as he relishes his satisfactory haul. However, that happiness quickly fades away when he finds himself being chased by Centorea.
Her sword drawn & ready to fight. Kimihito holds onto her waist, flailing uncontrollably on her side. Centorea fiercely demands the purse snatcher to pull over & surrender. She also threatens Kimihtio she'll throw him off if he touches her inappropriately. Kimihito fearfully replies, "Then please drive safely!!". Though this sadly falls on deaf ears. Recognizing Centorea from a previous encounter, the thief pushes forward, intent on evading capture. Despite being on a motor scooter, the thief is unable to outpace Centorea, much less put great distance between the two. As a centaur, Centorea is capable of reaching & maintaining speeds over 40mph for long stretches of time. To gain some distance, the thief purposely drives into a stack of sizable water jugs. Much to his dismay, Centorea easily slices them apart without stopping. The only downside is her shirt becomes soaked & her bra can be visibly seen, much to her embarrassment. The thief takes a downward ramp regaining a head-start. Once again, Centorea is undeterred. She leaps high into the air. Kimihito screams in absolute terror.
Centorea comes crashing down on a random truck & quickly catches up to the thief. The truck explodes in the background. Kimihito is babbling nonsensically from the intense chain of events is close to losing his grip. Centorea holds her blade to the thief's neck & requests Kimihito to take over. However, she soon finds herself fondled by the breasts by Kimihito; a completely unintentional act to be fair. Centorea chastises Kimihito for touching her like this & the latter moves his hands back around her waist, apologizing profusely. The thief takes this opportunity to speed forward. Centorea does the same & not surprisingly, she catches up to the thief once more. Infuriated, the thief whips out a retractable baton from his pocket & attacks Centorea. The young centaur scoffs in disappointment & responds in kind.
The two exchange blows while Kimihito looks away to protect his eyes. The struggle only lasts for several seconds. Centorea easily exceeds the thief's "sword-play" with greater precision & experience. The thief is disarmed. Centorea demands his surrender once more but once again, Kimihito accidentally grabs hold of a sensitive region on Centorea's breast to keep himself from falling. Centorea is distraught once more, dropping her sword out of shock. Kimihito apologizes again while repositioning his arms. The thief laughs histerically from Centorea's predicament but fails to see a pile of boxes ahead of him & crashes head first. Centorea snaps out of her trance soon after this & noticed what happened, as did Kimihito. Despite the mishaps, Centorea declares this exchange to be a success & decides to change course in the direction of the downed thief. But before she could do anything, Kimihito warns Centorea of a dead-end approaching them fast. Centorea sees it and attempts to completely halt her momentum. Kimihito flies off to the side, hitting the ground hard. Centorea is just as unlucky; she slams headfirst into a metal garage door knocking herself out. A huge dent is made from the impact. A while later, Centorea wakes up in pain. She looks around & sees Kimihito nearby slowly getting to his feet. Though still upset with his actions, Centorea is glad Kimihito isn't dead. She instinctively reaches for her sword but remembers she dropped it earlier. What's worse, the thief approaches her, covered in paint & bruises, while holding her sword. He brings down the sword onto Centorea, livid with her meddling. But to everyone's surprise, Kimihito rushes forward & takes the hit instead.
Kimihito believes he will die from this.
To his relief, Kimihito does indeed survive. Later on, Kimihito converses with Smith about what had happened after arriving home with Centorea in tow. His wound is only skin deep, as is his other bruises. Centorea's sword is essentially dulled out due to the exchange-bill's law against using swords & guns, especially in public. Needless to say, the thief was captured & taken by law enforcement to face his crimes. Smith is understandably shocked by the chain of events Kimihito went through. Kimihito states he wasn't entirely on board with this escapade in the first place. Smith then asked Kimihito, in a concerned manner, if he by chance rode Centorea. Kimihito sheepishly admits he more so flailed madly from her side, nearly falling multiple times throughout the chase since Centorea refused to let him ride her. Smith, now more concerned, explains a paramount commandment centaurs have; only their chosen riders are allowed to ride them. It's their equivalent of marriage. Should anyone else try to ride a centaur, regardless of reason, it's the same thing as violating their chastity. Almost immediately upon hearing this, Kimihito, frantically approaches Centorea, drops to the floor, & profoundly apologizes for his actions with the utmost humility. He begs her for her forgiveness. However, when he meets Centorea's gaze, he doesn't see anger or disgust in her eyes. There is only sorrow. Centorea timidly asks Kimihito to call her Cerea; a nickname her close friends & family members regularly call her. She admits the blame falls solely on her.
She was blinded by her sense of justice & didn't think twice to reconsider the path she chose. In her lack of judgement, she not only forced Kimihito to join her in her endeavors but she also put his life in jeopardy in such a reckless & heinous manner. Kimihito tries to take some of the blame but Centorea refuses to allow it. She places his hand on her chest, insisting he feel her rapid heartbeat to show how intense she felt. Cerea states until today, no on had put their life on the line for her. This is even more significant since Kimihito did so in spite of what Cerea put him through. Cerea admits Japanese "spells" are amazing after all. Cerea takes Kimihito's hand, cups it into hers, & looks him straight in the eye.
She verbally acknowledges Kimihito as her chosen rider & pledges her fealty to him. Cerea vows to protect Kimihito with her life as he did for her. Furthermore, Cerea states she will aid him in whatever ordeals he will face hereafter. She asks Kimihito if he will accept her fealty. A moment of silence passes between the two before Kimihito smiles & accept Cerea's fealty, thanking her for her generosity. Right after this, Miia & Papi step in. Naturally, Miia angrily questions Kimihito if he has brought home another girlfriend to the house. Papi simply demands some food. Cerea is confused by this exchange. Luckily, Kimihito calms things down. Later on, Cerea introduces herself to Miia & Papi. She asserts herself as Kimihito's bodyguard and as the house's second in command. Miia & Papi protest at first but Cerea's attitude & assertiveness shuts them both up. Kimihito is impressed by Cerea & actually looks forward to getting to know her. He also laments the fact his daily routines may become even more difficult.
The next day, Agent Smith arrives at Kimihito’s house with a moving truck waiting outside. Several workers walk into Kimihito’s house; the latter directs them upstairs to one of the vacant rooms. This room is big enough for Centorea to live in. Over the course of several hours, Centorea’s belongings are brought in & placed wherever Centorea requests. Kimihito diligently helps with the move in, much to Centorea’s appreciation. Miia watches the young centaur intently for any & all attempts to seduce Kimihito. It never happens once. Papi simply plays games on the tv to her heart’s content. Occasionally, she would briefly converse with the movers & look at the many belongings of Centorea with awe. Agent Smith lazes about as per usual; Kimihito isn’t even dazed by this lack of diligence. Eventually, the move-in is completed & the workers depart from the house. Agent Smith thanks Kimihito for his cooperation & takes her leave. Kimihito rolls his eyes, further annoyed by Smith’s bountiful laziness. Afterwards, Centorea invites Kimihito to her room for a training session. Kimihito agrees to the invitation though Miia follows suit out of suspicion & jealousy. Papi also follows simply out of curiosity. Once in her room, Centorea takes out her sword & bow & arrow from her closet. Kimihito watches from the opposite side of the room whereas Miia & Papi watch from outside of the door. Centorea unsheathes her sword & begins her training regiment.
Centorea wields her sword with the utmost speed & precision. She moves like a blur; Kimihito, Miia, & Papi all struggle to keep up with Centorea’s movements for longer than a few seconds. All were in complete awe of Centorea’s prowess. Sometime later, Centorea sheathes her sword & bows to her audience. All clap in amazement of her skills. After this, Centorea grabs her bow & arrow & sets up several practice dummies. One by one, each of the dummies are hit with arrows via headshots.
Once again, the trio find themselves completely in awe of Centorea’s skills. What she has pulled off is a feat most archers around the world wouldn’t dream of accomplishing. Centorea bows once more, thanking everyone for being her audience. Miia states Centorea is quite talented but it won’t deter her from claiming Kimihito. Kimihito chuckles out of amusement while Centorea simply rolls her eyes. Papi excitedly exclaims Centorea is amazing & gives her a hug. The young centaur blushes at this act of compassion & hugs Papi back out of kindness. But not without hiding her face out of timidity. Miia & Papi leave the room while Kimihito stays to tell Centorea she was outstanding & he looks forward to seeing how far she’ll go with her skills. Centorea bows to Kimihito thanking him for his compliment & Kimihito bows as well. He soon leaves the room, telling Centorea lunch will be ready soon. He learned from Smith Centaurs are vegetarians, thus he will prepare a meal specifically to her tastes. Centorea thanks Kimihito once more and the two part ways. Centorea smiles on brightly; her admiration of Kimihito growing by the second.
