Due to this, they perceive each identity as having a "fraction" of a complete soul and thus they're unworthy of love. Then, they decide to have a "battle of love" in their heart, with the different personas duking it out. Only the winner's relationship will be pursued, the others', discarded.

In a fantasy world where each persona is allowed to exist fully, all of them pursue their corresponding relationship. This persona model exists, in part, because of the belief that one can only love one person. All the feelings of love are Sayo's, but they can't express it in a "normal" way. Thus, the personas are made to love the partners in their place.

Polyamory would save ALL of them because Sayo would be able to allow themselves to be loved truly for who they are, and not all the masks they put on.
