May or may not have spent the evening chopping up a block of dry and crumbly clay (virtually useless) to add to another bag of clay that was dry and crumbly, but I put too much clay softener in that bag (also useless clay) so now I have a bag of red translucent cernit and I'm hoping that I don't have to buy another block of this stinking clay to turn into kinetic sand and hope that I don't make the bag of useless clay even more useless.

Dang that was a pointless and boring story I'm so sorry

So I got these holographic hair sticks from Claire's that I wanted to add some embellishments to.

So I made faux-jade sturgeon and paddlefish made from Cernit brand translucent polymer clay, you know, as one does.

I did some wire wrapping, painted the wire with something pearlescent, and affixed the small sculptures to the wire with fishing line and a glass bead for each.

one of my mates wanted a figurine for his birthday so im fighting tooth and nail sweating crying struggling with my cernit clay to make him a little hollow knight figure of the knight. i forget how hard this is

Finances may get much more difficult starting next year, so I decided to make a big order of supplies before that. These are several paper pads for watercolor, oil and charcoal, kraft sketchbooks, a couple of charcoal pencils and powdered charcoal, ink pens, watercolor masking fluid, kneaded erasers, a large-ish soft brush for varnishing paintings and a couple of Cernit clay blocks plus mica powder (because who can resist shiny glittery things??).

I'm so excited for all of this stuff 🥹🥹🥹✨✨✨
