There's some people doing this on twt and I really like the graphics I made so I thought I'd share them here too! Two of my main characters from my WIP and some of their character inspirations. There are more but these are probably the most prominent. Also most of these are after the fact.

Gonna list them under the cut:

Happy Halloween from my characters (left to right) Renwick, Styx, and Erevan from my gothic fantasy WIP Everdark!

Wish I was able to make more artwork but between other projects, writing the draft, and a general feeling of burnout, I wasn't able to get as much done as I would've liked. But hopefully soon I will have a Verida drawing so I could have this sort of illustration of all the main four!

Its Blursday! You hand the OC of your choice $1 million dollars (or the equivalent in your/their world!), what do they spend it on?

Happy belated Blorbo Blursday!! This is a fun question omg!

Renwick: Books and clothes and maybe a kitten or two!!

Erevan: Genuinely has no idea what to do with all that money. Probably ends up giving most of it away, but buys himself a few nice things depending on what he wants or needs at the moment. Maybe he treats his boyfriend to a fancy date!

Styx: Gives it all away to people in need

Vince: Granted, he's already rich, but...he could always use more musical instruments

Mirko: Model kits of like. Boats and trains and carriages. Also little action figurines to go with them. Also trading cards (they probably exist of like, important historical figures and such)

Blorbo blursday again!!

Your OCs go to a haunted house this time! (Yeah I'm just running through a list of places that can cause Shenanigans at this point.) How well do each of them take it?

This is incredibly funny in the best way because the main squad are all some flavor of goth!! They'd thrive in the haunted house, for different reasons

Renwick might be startled by like. A slasher or something but if it's a monster themed haunted house? ESPECIALLY if there was a vampire there? Oh you'd best believe he'd try to befriend tf out of those monsters!! The vampire performer jumps out at him, he goes :D!!!! Omg hi look I'm a vampire too hiiiii!!!!

Styx is fairly unflappable. It becomes a game to the performers at this point, to see who can scare them first. None succeed. She's mostly there to supervise the others.

Erevan is also relatively unflappable in these sorts of situations. If a monster jumps out at him he might jokingly respond like sorry I have a boyfriend :/ . At some point he SCREAMS and jumps like several inches in the air and everyone's like omg who got him and it turns out a bee got in somehow.

Verida is similar to Ren; she tries to befriend everybody! At one point she's like I love all the ghosts; you did really well with the effects!! And then the staff are like uhhh what are you talking about we have no ghosts or ghost effects.......

Some artwork of my Everdark MC Renwick and the love interest Erevan (he's the purple guy)! They don't get together until a bit later but their relationship remains a central and important part of the series overall. I can't wait to write about their romance!

(e.g., who is sleeping on the floor when There's Only One Bed; who starts going to a different coffee shop to avoid The AU?; who digs their way out of the snowstorm to avoid being Snowed In? Who's out here crushing the would-be Enemy to Friend to Lover's dreams?)- @liv-is

Ren was a tough one, because he loves tropes, especially romance tropes. Probably the Tragic Love Interest Death TM? He wants to live happily ever after with his sweetheart, especially since he's been so lonely for so long, and if they die tragically (ESPECIALLY if they were trying to save him!!!!) he would feel so horrible and guilty over it!!! And, being a vampire, he has the means to potentially stop/reverse such a tragic death......

Styx is easy. She's aromantic, so any romance trope happens and they are Out. She avoids domestic aus by not having a house.

Erevan was difficult since he can also be a trope enjoyer but I just imagined him getting caught up in a Billionaire Romance a-la Fifty Shades and him using that to persuade said billionaire to redistribute his wealth (and stop using private jets if this is in the modern day).

Vince is demisexual and hates the idea of Love At First Sight. There are many complicated reasons why he acts outwardly mean (which get explored at some point), but preventing someone from thinking they just experienced a rom-com meet-cute is a bonus!

It was fun and a bit of a challenge to turn everyone's fantasy outfits into modern fits!

Renwick, Styx, and Erevan all turned out pretty good!!

There's quite a few more so I'll put them under the cut! I didn't do every single character since there are a lot, but I did some of the major ones!

Verida is my absolute FAVORITE of these; the picrew does her so much justice with the colors and such!! Sad that I had to cut her out of book 1 to make the plot less convoluted but she'll be making her appearance hopefully in book 2! She is so fun and I love her so much.

Some misc characters, from left to right: Vince, Ainsley, and Odessa! For some reason I don't think I finished Vince the first time I tried making him so I redid him and now he looks like himself more! Still could use more filigree though :P Anyway, Ainsley's hair is supposed to be salt and pepper and I decided Odessa is a dog person right when making her in the picrew.

...I was debating on whether I would make all of them in this picrew but here are the vampires in the Night Terrors clan! From left to right:

Bella, Tansy, Dahlia, and Amaryllis look VERY good; Eirik does NOT look like himself lmaooo I wish there was a more buff/muscle-y body type option. The elves Norwyn and Aramour look fine; they both have black sclera as elven vampires, and Aramour's skintone is more orange-y and nonhuman (also he wears bright colored eyeshadow). Vlastimir looks pretty great, and Mirko looks like Peter Pan and I just realized how apt of a comparison that is. :(
