ENDGAME SPOILERS
My thoughts and highlights of avengers
-the movie started so quickly, I wasn’t expecting tony to come back immediately, but I’m so glad he did
-when everyone thought it was gonna be time travel, I really hoped it wasn’t because I despise time travel. I think it’s a lazy plot device, and after watching the Flash, it more gives me anxiety watching them muck about it the past that joy. But here, I thought the Russo’s executed it so well, because it was such a clever way to revisit marvels past, since endgame is a closing chapter. The time travel allowed the characters to show how much they have changed and grown, particularly Cap, Hulk and nebula. So in short, loved the time travel
-favourite time travel sequence was defs going back to New York in 2012. First avenger film was/is one of my favesc so I’m glad they were able to expand on that.
-Cap swearing! Talk about character development.
-speaking of Cap’s character development, I thought it was so clever how he used ‘hail hydra’ as well as exploiting his Bucky weakness
-Nat’s death was so sad, but good god was it effective. It was such a fitting end to her character, who was always fighting to help people and better her character that was momentarily tarnished by her past allegiances. Although, I did think it was a little stupid that Nebula didn’t warn them, but whatever. If Nat had to die, I’m really glad it was to help her family. RIP Natasha Romanoff, we love you.
-Big Lebowski 🤙
-the battle scene was one of the best battle scenes I’ve ever seen. Even beats the narnia battle, which let’s face it, is a cinematic masterpiece. So is this, cause it felt epic in every sense of the world. I have nothing to compare this to, because it was EVERYONE in the battle, and kicked ass!
-my personal favorites were captain marvel and Valkyrie (whom I am patiently waiting to get together)
-STEVE PICKING UP THE HAMMER! HOLY SHIT MY THEATER WAS SCREAMING IT WAS HYPE I STILL CANT
-HE PICKED UP THE HAMMER
-female power up, also known as a-force team up. Holy shit, I loved it so much. That was one of my favourite moments of the movie, cause everyone was there. Except Natasha, which made me a little sad, but a part of me thought that some of them were fighting for Nat.
-captain marvel in this scene was just incredible. Blasting through Thanos’ shit like a rocket, god it was beautiful. And her one on one fight with Thanos. HOT DAMN, IM GAY
-LIKE SERIOUSLY, HE HEADBUTTED HER AND SHE DIDNT FLINCH
-AND HER HAIR :0
-AND VALKYRIE ON A FUCKING FLYING HORSE. For me, it showed a much needed fantastical element that the marvel movies rarely embody in full, but always have a hint of. Even with Dr. strange’s movie, which was about magic, it didn’t really feel like a fantasy movie, it still felt like an action movie in our world. The magic was justified in a practical way, almost grounding it in our reality. But a flying horse is directly from fiction and imagination, and it’s such a small detail, but it enhances the richness of this fantasy world.
-I really felt how much each character hated Thanos, which in turn makes me hate him. He did take everything from them, but what entitles him to do that? Anytime a character kicked the shit out of him, or when his ship got blown up, he looked a little more deflated each time. I loved watching his ass getting kicked, which didn’t happen easily, but it happened. I love hating a villain, it doesn’t happen often, and I don’t think it’s happened at all in a marvel movie. Just means what a great villain he was.
-tony dying :(. So many feelings with this one. Before the movie, everyone was guessing who was gonna die, but I thought and hoped it was gonna be Cap. He’s the man out of time, he has nothing, no family, except ideals which he fights for, and he will always fight for. Him dying in the final battle, I thought would be a satisfying end to his character, and tony could live off with his family. But tony dying was so good. It had to be him to snap Thanos, the man who started it all. There would be none of this without RDJ, and his character, and that’s because his character, just like Cap, would always be pulled back in by the action. He could never let it go, and even compromised his relationship with Pepper a couple times. I’m so sad he left so many people behind, but his death was thematically suited, as well as a fitting and just end to a great character. RIP Tony Stark, we love you.
-also, take in that Peter has now lost 3 father figures, so I’m sobbing.
-Steve’s ending. I really liked it. As I said before, he had nothing in the present, other than fighting. He left all that behind when he went in the ice. Letting him live in the past with the love of his life was doing good by his character, and it was something that he really deserves. I’ve heard some people saying that he didnt do right by Stucky, and he abandoned Bucky. He didn’t, he said goodbye to him for a reason, cause he knew that he was gonna live a life with Peggy, and he would be utterly fine with Sam.
-ya so, in the end, I think the Russo’s gave us an amazing film, which was basically a love letter to the fans. Some of these characters suffered, but it was all for the betterment of defeating Thanos, and saving their family. They did right by these characters, none of them were done dirty, all given fitting ending to what they were as heroes, and who they were as people. I loved this movie, and i will always love my avengers.
-sorry for all the weird spacing, my phone is weird.

WIPs and projects: Progress
Hello~!
I’ve decided to do a big progress post that list all my current WIPS and projects, giving out an approximative percentage of how much I’ve written for each, and if they’re in my priority to do list or not.
DGM
Rise of the Walker: Chapter 3 at 0%, top priority.
Meet me Halfway to the End: Chapter 3 at 0%, top priority.
Make it Right: Chapter 1 at 10%, working on it slowly as second priority.
Freedom to Love: Chapter 1 at 10%, working on it slowly as second priority.
The future we choose: Chapter 1 at 0%, will work on it slowly but likely not as fast as other stories.
Bring me to Life: Chapter at 0%, is top priority but since it got updated recently, I will work on others top priority stories first.
Projects for DGM, aka, ideas that I’ll work on slowly: Two AOExDGM crossovers, a JoydAllen story, and a trans woman Cross story. Also, working out sequel to Long Lost Reunion.
Main WIPs in other fandom (those I am more likely to write for when I feel like it)
Secret of Dark Red (NatsuYuu): Chapter 5 at 10%, has worked on it slowly but paused for a bit, intend to try working on it slowly again.
The Divine Battle (BBC Merlin): Chapter 10 at 0%, hopes to work slowly on it.
Our Past (BBC Merlin): Chapter 8 at 20%, wants to work on it, but unsure when I’ll do.
The Joy of Time Travel (Pokemon): Chapter 6 at 15%, hopes to work slowly on it.
Tales of Black Wings (White Collar): Next story at 0%, will be a main timeline story, hopes to work on it. Has a story written for the alternate timeline but can’t post it until main storyline has the canon scene happen.
Other WIPs (kind of hiatus unless surprise inspiration), all have their next chapters not yet started (aka 0% written).
Shadows of Rebirth (Outlast), the one most likely to be updated all of the other WIPs.
Broken Chain and Fated Chain (KKM). I’m having some KKM nostalgia so who knows, but even if I watch some again and poke around, it’ll be slow. Still considered on hiatus. Semi hiatus?
Different Yet Alike (FNAF). Needs to read over my notes for the whole series to get in the mood again, spark inspiration. Considered in semi hiatus, almost full hiatus.
Hellish Chronicles (YGO GX): Inspiration can be hard for this one, so semi hiatus too, waits for inspiration to poke at it.
Projects (things I plan to work on but WIPs are priority over projects).
SkyrimxDAI crossover: biggest project of mine as its a series, wants to work on writing fully at least some of the stories, is likely to take a while before you see it pop around.
Canon AU NatsuYuu fanfic: will work on it once Secret of Dark Red is either well progress or finished. Basic like about it: Natsume is a half ayakashi and eventually becomes Matoba’s Shiki. Once Matoba actually manages to catch him. That takes a few years because sneaky Natsume is sneaky. But also: Natsume has a secret.
Other projects (little things I had started working on, might be worked on before bigger projects and/or whenever I lowkey avoid WIPs for the reason most don’t need that much work on, but inspiration for these is also low).
Two one shots for KKM: oh boy, I have no idea when I’ll continue these. One is a ConYuu ns//fw scene that’s halfway written and that I might decide to post as if (on AO3) if I cant feel like I’ll finish it, and another is one I cant recall if it was a plot bunny or I saw something that inspired me, it’s about fireworks.
I believe I have some character studies for YGO GX that are almost finished, I’ll eventually check and decide if I post as if (I think for some, I wanted to do more, and make a story that’s a collection).
Rewrites of Angel and Sephirot, and Eventful Journey (YGO GX): Still something I have in mind, but will be will a while before I even consider poking these.
One humor/crack ToS story I might repost (had removed it at one point). Is mostly a collection of crackish/funny scenes, canon not always there. I do need to first translate what I had until I removed it. Might continue it too, as in, make new scenes after I finished posting all the ones I wrote.
Same kind of story as above to repost, but in Saiyuki fandom, to be continued possibly. Speaking of Saiyuki fandom, there are french stories I had written and removed, I need to translate, possibly rework, and post. Obviously, that is not quite a priority, but will happen eventually.
There was a third story in the same style as the two above, for Devil Devil. I will eventually translate what I have and post, but not sure I’ll continue.
And of course, quite a few plot bunnies that are sitting waiting for me.
#progress#(that moment you recall you are doomed)#(so many wips and stuff in waiting)#(but as i've said for a bit)#(dgm has taken over my focus)#(i can and will still write for other fandoms)#(but DGM inspire me and I'm really into it and into my fanfics for it)

Texas Lt. Gov. Ripped For Saying Seniors May Be Willing To Die For The Economy
Twitter users are calling out Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick for claiming that “lots of grandparents out there” are willing to take a chance against the COVID-19 coronavirus in order to save the economy.
Speaking on Fox News, Patrick agreed with President Donald Trump’s proposal for a quicker end to the shutdowns that have stalled the economy.
The closures and stay-at-home instructions are aimed at stopping the spread of the virus, especially to those most vulnerable, such as seniors, who make up 80% of all U.S. deaths.
But Patrick, who turns 70 next month, indicated he’s willing to put his own survival on the line in exchange for “keeping the America that all America loves” for future generations.
“And if that’s the exchange, I’m all in,” he told Tucker Carlson, adding there are “lots of grandparents” who agree.
“My message is that let’s get back to work, let’s get back to living, let’s be smart about it, and those of us who are 70-plus, we’ll take care of ourselves. But don’t sacrifice the country,” he said.
Twitter users were aghast at the notion of grandparents being sacrificed to the virus in the name of the economy:
This kind of numbnuttery will kill people in Texas. Young as well as old. We need a state-wide shelter in place order to stop the spread of coronavirus and save hundreds of thousands of lives. https://t.co/C8r9Q7t2vs

I love my grandparents very dearly and would not like to see them as human sacrifices at the altar of the stock market and did not realize this desire had to be actively defended! https://t.co/nRvtZ8ywnA

Telling y’all, if Dan Patrick wants to sacrifice *himself,* that’s fine. When he begins volunteering *other people* to sacrifice themselves on behalf of the state, then that’s genocide. https://t.co/HOMy5L3Csp

To think Texans survived Jade Helm and transgender bathrooms only to be sacrificed by Dan Patrick himself. What a twist. https://t.co/D8YVqE6wf0

I have to say, while the GOP’s dark, Shirley Jackson-esque plot twist isn’t entirely unexpected, that the primary victims would be a significant part of Trump’s base is certainly a surprise. https://t.co/B5ZwOx62TN

.@DanPatrick Do I have to choose which one of my grandparents to sacrifice, or do they do that for me? Is there a test they take? Maybe a panel of people who assess which ones can survive the longest?

Genocide is the destruction of a national/ethnic/racial/religious group in whole or in part, but shouldn’t it cover the preventable deaths of an entire generation? Because Dan Patrick, monster, thinks this’d be noble for the sake of a near work of fiction called “the economy”. https://t.co/7kds1BVylM

Best and Worst Reads of 2019

Let’s talk about books baby…
Before I get into my favorite and least favorite reads of 2019 I want to talk about the rating system that I adopted halfway through the year. I now use the CAWPILE method which I got from G. over at Book Roast on Youtube though I’ve changed it some.
CAWPILE breaks down a book into 7 different categories:
C = Characters Backstory Growth Arc Did you feel like you knew them? Were you invested? A = Atmosphere World Building W = Writing Style Did you like the Writing Style? P = Plot Did you like the plot? Were you able to follow it? I = Immersion Did the book keep your attention? Did you want to keep reading? L = Logic Did things make sense to you in the context of the story? E = Enjoyment Did you enjoy this book?
Now here’s where I made changes G. rates each section out of 10 then does some math to make it fit into the Goodreads 0-5 start scale. I, on the other hand, wanted something more simple so I rate my categories out of 5 stars then add each section up then divide by 7 (because there are 7 categories) For example:
Here is my break down of The Young Queens by Kendare Blake, which I loved but wasn’t one of my fav’s of the year.
C = Characters 3 Stars A = Atmosphere 5 Stars W = Writing Style 5 Stars P = Plot 5 Stars I = Immersion 5 Stars L = Logic 5 Stars E = Enjoyment 5 Stars = 33 out of 35 33 devided by 7 is 4.712% which makes my raiting for the book a 4.75 out of 5 stars.
I wanted to start off this post by going over my favorite and least books of 2019, let’s start chronologically with my favorites:
In an Absent Dream by Seanan McGuire 5 out of 5 stars
This is the fourth installment in the Wayward Children series or novellas. For those that don’t know these books follow children that have made their way into portal worlds like Oz and Wonderland but have for one reason or another been spit back out into our world. The kids usually cant readjust so they are sent to special boarding schools. The one school, in particular, is Eleanor West’s Home for Wayward Children. The first three played off each other whereas this one we follow a child we haven’t met in other books. If fact this book takes place years before the first three books in the series.
In an Absent Dream follows Lundy, a very serious young girl who would rather study and dream than become a respectable housewife and live up to the expectations of the world around her. As well she should.
When she finds a doorway to a world founded on logic and reason, riddles and lies, she thinks she's found her paradise. Alas, everything costs at the goblin market, and when her time there is drawing to a close, she makes the kind of bargain that never plays out well.
NOTE* I read this book prior to adopting my new rating system but I think my rating would be somewhere between 4.5-5 stars with my new system.
The Savior's Champion by Jenna Moreci 5 out of 5 stars both times with a CAWPILE rating of 35
This is a self-published book that in my opinion would rival any traditionally published work. The Savior's Champion is the first in a series of which I can’t wait for more to come out... This story had me hooked from the first chapter which I read before it came out in 2018. I got this book on Audio and the narrator Nick Denton, who is a sweetheart by the way, is amazing.
This book follows Tobias Kaya doesn't care about The Savior. He doesn't care that She's the Ruler of the realm or that She purified the land, and he certainly doesn't care that She's of age to be married. But when competing for Her hand proves to be his last chance to save his family, he's forced to make The Savior his priority.
Now Tobias is thrown into the Sovereign's Tournament with nineteen other men, and each of them is fighting -- and killing -- for the chance to rule at The Savior's side. Instantly his world is plagued with violence, treachery, and manipulation, revealing the hidden ugliness of his proud realm. And when his circumstances seem especially dire, he stumbles into an unexpected romance, one that opens him up to unimaginable dangers and darkness.
Trigger warning: this novel contains graphic violence, adult language, and sexual situations.
The Ruin of Kings by Jenn Lyons 5 out of 5 stars both times with a CAWPILE rating of 35
This is the first book in a high fantasy series (or trilogy I don’t really know which lol) The story grabbed me right away but it did take a second to get used to because you are following Kihrin through two parts of his life and the story jumps from the past to the present throughout the book. I listened to this book on audio and it was amazing. The THREE narrators (Vikas Adam (Kihrin), Feodor Chin (Thurvishar), and Soneela Nankani (Talon)) were amazing and I only hope book 2 and eventually book 3 will have the same VOA’s
Kihrin grew up in the slums of Quur, a thief and a minstrel's son raised on tales of long-lost princes and magnificent quests. When he is claimed against his will as the missing son of a treasonous prince, Kihrin finds himself at the mercy of his new family's ruthless power plays and political ambitions.
Practically a prisoner, Kihrin discovers that being a long-lost prince is nothing like what the storybooks promised. The storybooks have lied about a lot of other things, too: dragons, demons, gods, prophecies, and how the hero always wins.
Then again, maybe he isn't the hero after all. For Kihrin is not destined to save the world.
He's destined to destroy it.
Now on to the ones you really care about, I know you just skipped to this part…
I only had three disappointing reads this year and one of them was a re-try that I had DNFed when I got the ARC.
Genuine Fraud by E. Lockhart DNFed AGAIN
Imogen is a runaway heiress, an orphan, a cook, and a cheat. Jule is a fighter, a social chameleon, and an athlete. An intense friendship. A disappearance. A murder, or maybe two. A bad romance, or maybe three. Blunt objects, disguises, blood, and chocolate. The American dream, superheroes, spies, and villains. A girl who refuses to give people what they want from her. A girl who refuses to be the person she once was.
I first got this book as an ARC back before it came out (obviously) I got 50 pages in and I wanted to rip my hair out that’s how much I was disliking it. So I thought that maybe Mystery-Thrillers weren’t for me. But now having a few under my belt and I’m liking these genres I’d give it another go especially since some of my favorite book bloggers and booktubers really enjoyed it.
Oh boy was I WRONG. I made it to that same spot and wanted to rip my hair out but I thought no keep going maybe it will get better. Wrong again, the MC was bland and boring and found myself wishing she would adopt a good personality or really any personality at all would be a vast improvement over who she was portraying at any given time. I didn’t care about the plot or her backstory or why she was hiding.
So I DNFed this book for a second time at around 100 pages.
The Umbrella Academy, Vol. 1: The Apocalypse Suite by Gerard Way 1 out of 5 stars
In an inexplicable worldwide event, forty-seven extraordinary children were spontaneously born to women who'd previously shown no signs of pregnancy. Millionaire inventor Reginald Hargreeves adopted seven of the children; when asked why, his only explanation was, "To save the world."
These seven children form the Umbrella Academy, a dysfunctional family of superheroes with bizarre powers. Their first adventure at the age of ten pits them against an erratic and deadly Eiffel Tower, piloted by the fearsome zombie-robot Gustave Eiffel. Nearly a decade later, the team disbands, but when Hargreeves unexpectedly dies, these disgruntled siblings reunite just in time to save the world once again.
This may have been partly my fault because I watched the Netflix adaptation before I knew the source material existed. I LOVED the show, it is hands down one of my new favorites but the graphic novel wasn’t well put together. I have been reading graphic novels and comics my whole life and I know you’re not getting a novel with dialogue and story spelled out for you. I know that there is a harmony between what is written and the art but the artist had to work twice as hard to convey the story. What little written word was there wasn’t the best.
I did like the art style it was fun and really the only thing that kept me going thought out this volume. I won’t continue in the series as far as the graphic novel is concerned but I am highly anticipating the next season of the show.
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum 2 out of 5 stars
When Dorothy and her little dog Toto are caught in a tornado, they and their Kansas farmhouse are suddenly transported to Oz, where Munchkins live, monkeys fly and Wicked Witches rule. Desperate to return home, and with the Wicked Witch of the West on their trail, Dorothy and Toto - together with new friends the Tin Woodsman, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion - embark on a fantastic quest along the Yellow Brick Road in search of the Emerald City. There they hope to meet the legendary, all-powerful Wizard of Oz, who alone may hold the power to grant their every wish.
I grew up with both the movies and had been a huge fan since childhood. The filmmakers took a lot of successful liberties with this story and were able to convey everything so much better than Baum. My least favorite part was the Witches of Oz, the Wicked Witch of the West she seemed more like a stern grandmother than an evil witch, though she had her moments with the Tin Man, Lion, and the Scarecrow.
But I will continue in the series because it is a goal of mine to read them all.

~Hold on, amnesia is caused by brain damage, but paralysis is caused by damage to the spine. What did Karkat do to damage both his brain AND spine?
"NO!" Dave escalated loudly
~Escalated loudly
John and Rose were waiting outside. Rose was very upset. She dated Karkat when she was younger and she lost her virginity to him.
~A: Rose is a lesbian
~B: How the fuck did Karkat date her when she was younger? They were in different universes!
He was her first love and she never really gog
~Gog
over him.
"I cant believe he would do this hes so emo" Rose moaned
~Why is everyone either goth or emo
"I am sorry!" John proclaimed
~What does John have to do with this?
"John" Rose said seductivley "Can u take my mind off it"
~Rose no stop it
John gulped. He knew what Rose wanted but he wasnt sure if he was ready for it yet. Rose was a sex goddess
~And a minor
and he was a geek who never got less than 100 perfect in any lessons. But he had no scores in the sex department.
~So he got 0% in Sex-Ed? But he never got less than 100% in any lessons? YOU CAN'T FOOL ME, I SEE THROUGH YOUR LIES
"Rose" John pronounced "I do not think now is the right time!"
"U want to wait?" Rose raised her eyebbrow
"I want are first time to be specil" John announced
~Specil
"Ok" Rose said moodily.
Five days later Karkat woke up from his coma and everyone came to pick him up. Dave was very happy his friend was awake and brought along cheetos and pepsi to celebrate.
~i specifically requested apple juice rose wheres my fucking aj
The girls had been to thhe beach and so they were in their bikinis.
~Stop
Rose was wearing a lethar tight string thang bikini which showed of her private areas
~I said stop it now
while Jade wore a black lacey one with a 'D' over her left boob becase she loved Dave.
~S T O P
"He is suffering with severe head tramaur" the doctor said shakily "he does not remember his name!"
~I want an enter name screen. How about "cancerous fuckwad" *badum tshhh*
Everyone gasped.
"No! Karkat!" Dave discharged
"Who is Karkat my name is Tarvos" Karkat said questioninly
~Orange is the new Grey
"He can no longer walk either he must go in a wheelchair" said doctor We do not know if he will recover
~Dear lord he's really becoming Tavros
"How could this happen" Gamzee shot "All he want was to be normal"
They all left the hospital and Karkat was rolling himself happily while everyone was crying they had lost one of their best freinds and school would no longer be the same how were they supposed to hang around with him now he was in awheelchar.
~Forget his amnesia and probable brain damage, him being in a wheelchair is the most important issue!
To lighten the mood they decided to go to mcdonnalds and so they all went there and ordered burgers and chips and chicken nuggest for everyone to eat except for vriska who ate the napkins instead.
~But why though
"Golly I REALLY like these chicken nuggets" Karkat happily said
~Priorities
"Karkat..." Dave began "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM."
"My name is Tarvos! Not Karkat!" Karkat exclamated. He smashed the chicken nugget down on the table and squished it like a bug as he looked at the floor. He was ANGRY.
~Calm down
Gamzee sighed "I guess we shall call him Tarvos"
"YAY" Karkat, now Tarvos sang explendidly.
~Why is he so persistent in his belief that he's Tavros? Or sorry, "Tarvos". If I got serious brain damage, was told I had amnesia, and people kept telling me my name was Joe or something, I would probably believe them
"These napkins taste like piss" Vriska snooted as she gobbled one up.
~Why are you eating the napkins then?
"I used that one to wipe myself after I peed..." Jade whimpered.
~A. What the fuck
~B. And you put it back!?
"Ok" Vriska said, munching away.
~What the hell Vriska why are you ok with this
"When did you go to pee" Rose asked curiously
~Wait, if Rose doesn't remember Jade going to the bathroom, that means she did it at the table. What the fuck is wrong with you people?
Jade looked down at the floor while fiddling with his black lace panties "When you all weren't looking...I..I needed to take a pregnancy test."
"WHAT!" everyone but Feferi exclaimed because she was too cool
~feferi give me my fucking shades back
"Dave..." Jade began "I AM PREGNANT!
~
~I already used this image in the last story but I don't care
gasp! Jade is PG!
~That's not what PG stands for
what will happn now! will karkat get better? REVIEW
~This story's pacing is so weird. I'm 99% sure they were just coming up with plot points as they wrote, which would explain Karkat's shit suddenly doing an acrobatic fucking pirouette off the handle into the embrace of a failed suicide attempt causing shit to get into an unstable relationship with the fan leading to several years of relationship counselling and dear god what am I even writing
~Anyways, from this point onwards, I have no idea what's going to happen in the story, so wish me luck as I burrow fuck deep into the hellhole that is this fanfiction
