you're so right. I agree entirely. however.

those are the themes. not the plot.

#because there are two different crowds of ppl--#the 'I hate bsd and I read every chapter just to hate on it' crowd #and the 'I love the characters I love the themes. ngl the plot's kinda a mess though'#and I 100% understand answering to crowd 1 that there's substance and meaning in bsd #and it's right there. you're looking right at it.#it's about love and acceptance and finding a place to belong #However. I see such an uptick of ppl answering crowd 2 as if they're crowd 1 #my dear friend. nobody's hating on bsd when being confused about the convoluted plot #and if someone says 'I don't really get the plot' and you say 'but the THEMES'#you're not addressing the thing they're saying. you're just saying a brand new statement

All the major plot points are the same! The rewrite is just for expanding + rearranging the story, not actually retconning anything major :)

It's slow going, these pages need a lot of editing. None of the night scenes in this comic would print nicely, so i need to lighten the colors in a lot of scenes. But i am actively working on it! (:

It's going to take some time.

What's a pet peeve every RO has when it comes to other people, specifically very close friends or even lovers?

Rook: The one thing that sets him apart from other College Guys(tm) is he can't stand a mess, especially in his own space. Like he gets it, he has ADHD too! He will help you clean up just please don't leave it like that

Beck: Hmmm, he's like the most chill of the bunch so this is hard. I feel like everything that bothers him is in the Big Deal category and not the Pet Peeves category lol

Rhea: Immaturity, but to a more extreme degree. She unfortunately does have a bit of her parents in her as much as she's loathed to admit it, and while she can find the joy in general silliness with friends, anything more than that can make her a bit irritated.

Zoe: Making them wait or showing up without warning. Like their social battery is low they need time to charge and mentally prepare themselves to be with someone, even if they like that person

Lars: God what doesn't bother this man. I think people not saying what they mean gets him the most, just because he's so forward. He prefers people be the same, even if that means they are saying harsh things to him. It's better than sugar coated words

???: Seeing as you're pretty much the only one close to them, who knows?

Why didn’t you add Warpath and Cosmos? Are you planning to add them in the future?

heads up, don't go by the old lineup or design posted before march 2024 ( since that's when i finished the rewrite/complete rework). Good amount, those characters are cut, dead, no longer have any plot relevance beyond cameos, or have been completely reworkded.

I will not say who is showing up or not because that is spoiler. I'm trying to keep pretty quiet about anything that happens beyond the first 10 chapters. so, any ask pertaining to if a character will or will not appear will not be awnsered.
