ive had cyberpunk thoughts all week. nd since i cant play (it messed my tv screen up. cries.) i decided to try and. character train with little ficlet thoughts. and ive been lamenting for a bit but i have a thing.
...The room echoed with his footsteps. He walked around, looking for someone. His eyes couldn't see but a foot in front of him. "Hey.. hey, where am I? This isn't funny. If you're playing some joke on me, its not fucking fu-" He was cut off as he called out into the echo. He had bumped into something. As he stumbled back a bit, he tried to grab onto it. Hands pulled him closer. Two of them in a hug of sorts.
...It was Jackie. But- wait, no. No, Jackie's dead now. Jackie's gone. His body's gone. He shouldn't be here. But V couldn't care about how this was happening, or why, when, what, who. He was absolutely stunned to feel something familiar again. Everything felt like a blur of grey and red since he learned about the chip. When he learned that if he doesnt act fast, and with urgency, he'll cease to be himself. He'll be piloted by a dead man with a second chance.
He needed this. No words are spoken, but he can't seem to let go. He can't get over it. It hurts his heart everytime he thought about it. How he fought with him, how he got snappy and irritated just before his death, how he couldn't get him the help he needed in time. How, if he had been faster, if everything had been more tactical, Jackie might still be here. T-Bug might still be in her apartment. This chip may've never embedded into him. They'd all be rich and happy together.
But as soon as he felt happy, he was jolted awake by someone. "Get up. I'm not waiting for you." ...Johnny. He rolled over with a groan to see him standing beside the bed, cigarette in hand. V felt like his lungs were filling with smoke, coughing. He hated that. "Move on. He's dead. Bein a fuckin crybaby isn't gonna make him magically come back." Johnny spoke with anger and bluntness. He was such an asshole. "Ugh. You ever have a friend die in front of you? It's... It's fuckin depressing, Johnny." V's voice was quiet and tired. "I don't do friends. Get in the way. Now get up, and get dressed. We have shit to do."

I feel like a toddler being the wheel of a semi-truck.#But I've learned that the most important thing about art is to just dive in and start. I've learned a lot from my failures!#There is probably a more efficient way to do all of this. I'm using CPS and as of 20 min ago I just found out that animation folders-#-and regular folders are *different*. So I'm hopeful the rest of this animation goes well!#Shout out to Jiang Yanli for getting that man pregnant. MXTX told me herself that he carried Jin Ling to term with no complications.#How? How you ask? Well. I imagine it was a sea-horse situation. He has a pouch where he keeps his young.#He went from calling her names and trying to break off the wedding to having pregnancy cravings. Character growth.

as a kid i really liked the little minigames you could do at hotel richissime in xy, so i tried to make something up for hotel z! i'm thinking theres a set amount of these logic puzzles and when completed, the trainers included in it might appear in the lobby :)
