What to do? Were to begin?

I need some help. I've been wanting to share more on here, like actual legitimate story stuff for Baldr.

I just have SO MANY OPTIONS I don't know where to even begin?

Do I write pre-Convocation Baldr? Back in Hyperboria with Abaris? His time with Venat in their early Convocation day? Their children? Meeting Icarus?

Or even his "returned" self in the sundered world, hale and whole(physically.. Kinda) and alive purely by sheer will?

Options. Too many options. SO much story LOL.

This is a character I recently created. THIS TOOK TWO DAYS AND I AM VERY PROUD ENJOY. Meet Jeter Lancaster, the love interest/supporting character to Emalia. (used to be Jeter Nyland, but thanks to some plot arrangements, he has a different name. The two were never related, of course, but he took her name in order to become "part of the house".) Some little facts about Jeter; ~ A well know doctor, one of the best in his field. He can be titled as an Orthopedic surgeon, as well as an infectious disease specialist. ~ As an automaton, Jeter's sense of sight and his memory are better than a humans. This is perfect for his line of work, able to spot problems way faster than someone else would. ~ Level-headed, precise and charismatic, it is rather easy for Jeter to gain the trust of others. He's loyal and confident, all around a people person. ~ Trained in self-defense. Extremely skilled with a pistol, but only ever uses it to keep himself safe. He is rarely ever the person to draw first, unless the attacker is clearly going to wound someone. ~ Became a teacher to Henderson Balgraven, teaching the young man everything he knows about Healthcare. August 29, 1892

When our boat landed in New York in 1875, four years after I had left. We were met at the docks by Jake, who was excited to see me after so long. I had written to him about meeting Elliott while in France and he was glad to meet him. When I told him we had married on the boat he was a little skeptical at first and warned him to take good care of me.

Despite his skepticism, he and Elliott got along wonderfully. They talked the entire carriage ride to my family home and seemed to become fast friends. My parents were not so welcoming upon meeting Elliott. They were happy to see me safely home, but not so much that I had gotten married without their blessing. Father took Elliott into the study and they talked for a long time, leaving me sitting worriedly one the sitting room with Mother and Jake. Jake tried to help distract me by telling me all about Sadie, his new lady friend he had written about. It felt like hours before my husband and father emerged from the study with smiles. Elliott gave me a small nod of assurance and I was finally able to relax.

That night we stayed in my old bedroom and Elliott told me as much about the talk as he could. When I asked him how he got my father to be alright with this he explained that his family was very wealthy down south. When he had explained this to my father he changed his tune and welcomed Elliott into the family.

We spent a few weeks visiting with my family and giving them time to get to know each other. Elliott eventually announced that we would be leaving soon. We were going to head south to visit his family. Jake made me promise to write as often as possible and to be safe. My mother tried to get us to reconsider and stay up in New York with society, but Elliott was insistent that we head out soon. I assured my mother that I would be safe with him and that I would write her as often as possible, although I knew her letters would have less information about our travels than Jake’s letters.

We traveled for months, working our way down to Scarlett Meadows. We had many adventures along the way and got to know each other even more. I helped sick and injured people along the way, restocking my medical bag as often as I could and collecting healing herbs as I saw them.

Elliott taught me survival skills as we went, saying he wanted to make sure I would be alright if anything were to happen to him or if we were separated during our travels. He gave me a knife and, when we finally got to Rhodes, he bought me a shotgun and a couple of pistols. He’s been teaching me how to shoot with his guns and said it was time for me to have my own. I got a gun belt soon after and had to get used to the way it sits. I was constantly feeling like the belt would slide over my hips and fall to the ground at my feet.

We were approached by the Sherif of Rhodes, who was very rude to Elliott and sounded very drunk despite the hour. Elliott introduced me, explaining that this drunk sherif was his cousin Leigh. Once he knew me as Elliot’s wife he would continuously make comments to me that were indecent and made Elliott regret my meeting his Cousin.

We quickly learned that the Grays had started a feud with the Braithwaite Family. The two family’s have been rivals for generations and they were not very happy when Elliott explained that we were not here to partake in the feud, but simply for me to be introduced. We were spoken rather harshly to after that and told to leave. Elliott told them we would leave in the morning and ushered me out of the house. Leigh 'escorted' us to the hotel to make sure we didn't go and betray the family to the Braithwaites.

The next morning, we left bright and early, getting a few more comments from a few of Elliott's family members who came to make sure we left. Every since then we have been traveling, having amazing adventures and meeting new people. That's our backstory and now I have it written down for our future children and grandchildren.

CrystalGlitch Sans: Full Body Design(info too)

So, here's my original design for CrystalGlitch Sans! He's 5'4, always on edge but somehow manages to relax most of the time, and fun fact! His bones are made of crystalized material. He got the upgrade from the gem(ruby) he wears around his chest. Every monster has one, but they are only specially selected for that one specific monster. If you remove it, you will get nothing from it. Therefore, you are only stealing from them. Sans, unlike the rest of the monsters, has the glitched gem. The gem that touched the timelines of other aus and was the cause of CrystalFell, becoming CrystalGlitch. Which, gave the gem the ability to copy and paste powers for whoever equips it. And about the clothes, he wears a long sleeve tight shirt that wrapps around his fingers like a holy glove, a magenta top and shorts, a purple scarf, a black and purple jacket, and black and white big converses.

Technician’s Guide – Understanding Energy and Nutrition

Subjects under the Colossus Project maintain most of their vestigial humanity. Therefore, when tending to them, one must treat them as though their requirements are close to, or equivalent, to that of a standard human. There are certain exceptions which will be discussed here. Please read the chapter on energy cores prior to reading this document to better understand the subject matter.

Many units here have minor upgrades which do not have a large draw on the body. There are units who are extensively modified and will need more care than the Basic Units with only one or two modifications. Take additional consideration when transporting or feeding these higher-tier units. Unnecessary stress can result in exhaustion of a healthy unit. To begin, it is important to understand what power source your unit is functioning from. Basic Units almost universally lack a large power core or node, and will as a result, have similar stamina to their birth race. Nodes draw slightly more energy than cores because of their processing power and data storage, so if unsure of which a unit contains, refer to their profile document. All units with a core or node must be fitted with a ceruleum feed on board of 50 – 200 milliliters in order to prevent exhaustion.

Combat units and their tier 3 counterparts, warmakers and survivalists, are the most efficient energy expenders we have created. Their success stems from their ability to either convert usable energy into significantly pronounced results, or sustain themselves well beyond normal means on as little energy as possible. This efficiency has made this class the most popular in the Project. A generally mixed diet of lean protein is provided to these units within the castrum. Ceruleum restrictions are placed on warmaker units only due to their tendency to vent frustrations openly, and typically explosively. If a warmaker expends their ceruleum stores before their next scheduled supply, they are to be put out of service until that date. No exceptions. Survivalists and common combat units, however, should be refueled after each battle as needed.

Defensive units vary on their energy use based on the degree of modification. Panzer units are one of the least efficient classes, but they are highly useful and near impenetrable for the ceruleum spent on them. Consider a panzer unit as you would a magitek tank. Most of these units have a low-power mode built into them for times of rest where they can preserve as much physical energy and ceruleum as possible when sleeping. Energy consumption can be reduced as much as 94% in this mode. Movement is restricted, so only order a unit into this mode if proper shelter is available, or within a castrum. If you are managing one of these units in your group, follow the weight-restriction guidelines to ensure your defensive class unit does not fall below the specified weight. Supplements are available in the medical wing if a unit is underweight and requires additional support. Higher caloric content food is available in the mess hall kitchen on request.

Medic units also have no restriction on refueling times with ceruleum. See that each unit is brought back to the main bay after each healing event, be it on another unit or themselves. Traumatic loss of a limb may not exhaust the subject after healing, but it will result in a significant draw on internal energies. The regenerative ability is also not infinite. A medic unit enduring enough physical damage may expend their ability before they are able to restore their energy, especially in the event of field missions where fire or sustained battling is present. Field ceruleum is provided in emergency injectors for these units. It is not to be used as a boost to put the unit back into service. Use one injector on a unit with a damage score of greater than 90% and recall them immediately. Their diet is to be kept similar to that of the combat units, but medic units have no restriction on physical weight or strength requirements. Their recovery ability is more important to their function.

Accessory and augmentation units are to be treated as basic units are, but will need additional support at times of mineral supplements which are provided in specialized formulas in the kitchen. Active nanobot colonies can rob a subject of iron and cause severe anemia if not monitored, so provide one supplemental meal each week to prevent mineral loss. They should need no more ceruleum than a common basic unit as the nanobots run on their own style of power through thermal and kinetic energies within the subject’s musculature. Bedridden units will require additional support. See to it that their diet has plenty of red meats and fluids high in electrolytes to keep their nerve functions and blood viable. Nanobots will process damaged red blood cells for their iron, but will turn to healthy cells if none are available. If you notice an accessory unit with pallor or cold extremities, take them to the medical wing for evaluation.

Disposal units and executioner units are rare but need mentioning due to their unique situation. Next to panzer units, these units are the second worst at processing food and ceruleum into usable energy. They are most likely to cannibalize other units, prisoners, or staff because of their inability to maintain a stable energy level. A muzzle is required for all disposals wandering the grounds except at meal times for this reason. If a disposal unit expends its allotted ceruleum, refuel it, but do not encourage frequent refueling for units appearing to abuse the substance. They have been known to bite into magitek fuel lines to drink the fuel directly if not monitored. Their diet at meal times should be kept high in proteins, fats, and bulk carbohydrates, such as rice, to keep the subject sated. This hunger is driven by their poor conversion of energy and a lack of a low-power mode as the defense units have. Satisfy the unit first to keep it under control. Additional nutrition and ceruleum will always be provided for these units by request.

Always be mindful of subjects seeking excess ceruleum outside of their normal standards. It could imply the unit has fallen ill or is abusing the substance, which is possible with many of the subjects containing stimulus-reward programming. Low-efficiency subjects like the panzers and disposal line have frequently damaged their digestive system attempting to hold more ceruleum than their under-evolved bodies could handle. None of these subjects have killed themselves this way, but it does put them out of service for longer than needed to recover. Such damage can result in the formation of a distorted intestinal tract coined a “gastric basin” by the medical staff. The stomach and small intestine, under influence of high aetheric levels from orally-consumed ceruleum, will collapse into one, large organ system with an acidic crown and basic lower pool. Digestion can be hindered from this but typically does not harm the unit. The change is irreversible, however. Units developing this mutation need to be evaluated for the cause of their excessive energy loss. All disposal units have this mutation to some degree, making them even more difficult to maintain at times. Supplement each unit with this malformation based on the severity of this condition.

Shi Hoshiani 星西

*Shi Hoshiani has been my main character for about 1-2 years now, and she's been sitting on the shelf for so long I never created a real story for her. Just kind of drawn and edited her whenever I felt like it. Well, here's part one of her story. I have so many plans for her story line I just can't keep typing ;; mentally exhausted. Makeup: Shi, wears a red and broad makeup across the bridge of her nose and covers her eyes as well. Her makeup determines her rank, and she is a political and professional assassin after graduating from her academy.

Lore:

Shi grew up her entire life in the small village of Nishimura ( 西村 ) There she was raised actually quite decently from what you would expect. She was born into a pure blood line or wealth and skill level and also high expectations. She was trained from day one to be what she was already destined to become. An assassin.

Shi started being trained and educated at home. But since her father wasn’t able to afford the time, he hired a personal trainer that he could trust. The trainers name is, Jeikobu (ジェイコブ). He has trained 2 generations of over 100 students. And, was successful and maintained good relationships with all of them. Jeikobu  is 38 years old and is typically very strict but does also have his soft side.

As a surprise, the entire Hoshiani clan is dedicated to their culture. Killing.

Shi’s first mission was when she was only 16 years old. They have strict tests that require you to be able to stay an entire 24 hours and survive in the Forbidden Forest. There, creatures lurk for blood lust and an assortment of all sorts of wicked scenarios.

For some of the Hoshiani clan members, they don’t survive. Most of the time, bodies are never recovered due to the wild animals.

Shi, contains a rare bloodline that hasn’t shown up in over 300 years in their culture. And that’s the ability to communicate with animals, and sometimes can even control them. But the odd thing is that they have to grant her the ability to let her overcome and overpower them. She also has a high skill level of martial arts and weaponry. She carries a weapon at all times, called the “Tri - Dagger” ( トリーダガー ). bit.ly/2Cz8rxz

Her Tri - Dagger is strictly illegal around the entire world to the brutal blunt force trauma it can cause. If someone just has one stab wound, they can bleed to death within 5 minutes. For Shi, her quickest killing only took 46 seconds.

Another smaller weapon she carries just for easier access and and quick movement and slicing, is the Karambit ( カラビット ). bit.ly/2Cz8rxz

When trying to get past guards, and try to make her appearance as unknown as possible, she uses this weapon due to its size and ability to cut with ease.

When you look at the Hoshiani clan, it appears very much so as a cult. How this clan stays privately funded and hidden is due to high and powerful connections. They signed a treaty underground in private quarters. The treaty states equal partnership and 50% of income. 10% is automatically put into their personal reserve for injuries or weapons or medications in need. And also other basic necessities.

The leader of the Hoshiani clan, Kumagai, and Wakayoshi,  the Federal Leader of the Energy Reserve.

Wakayoshi is a very wealthy and powerful man. He is known to hire the Hoshiani’s to basically, ‘Delete’ any competition or threat to his position.

How can he afford all this you ask? Due to his power of position, he controls over half of the circuit boards around their nation. No other competitor knows of his true intention as he hides his true self in secret. Wakayoshi is very loyal to the Hoshiani’s for everything they have done for him. So they are paid a fair amount and equally. Wakayoshi is only 47 years old and is already a billionaire which comes from his political income.

Now.. when it comes to Shi. She’s an odd character who hides a lot of truth within herself. And since she was raised to be cold hearted, she has no problem keeping secrets away from anyone.

Her bloodline comes from what was to be thought of as a legend. The last time it was ever recorded was 300 years ago when their clans origins were finally forming together.

Shi has the ability to communicate and control animals with her mind. She has never mentioned it to anybody in her clan. Not even her own parents or siblings or even friends. She doesn’t want to be ridiculed for the idea since most think it’s idiotic. And the people that DO believe in it still existing, are labeled as psychos and ‘Creatures’. That is because, the last person known to have it, was named “Ueda Isamu Hoshiani” ( 上田イサム星野 ). He used the powers for more evil than good.

And legend says that when Hoshiani members are sent to the Forbidden Forest, some have even reported meeting him or seeing him wander with the wild animals.

In this forest, there are lots and lots of wildlife that is deadly to the touch, or gentle as a feather. Being in this clan is no walk in the park. Some are permanently tormented by visions and hallucinations they see. Almost 30% of the plants and berries in this forest are not toxic in the sense that they can kill you, but more so dangerous in the fact they can make you go psychologically insane.

For example, the most common plant that does the most damage is often inhaled by mistake due to its defense mechanism. The plant is called “The Fire Lily” ( 炎リリー ). It appears beautifully, but if not recognized quick enough, it disperses only a spoonful of clear powder into the air, and isn’t  recognized you’ve been affected till it’s too late. It got its name the Fire Lily due to its burning sensation before going into a psychological hallucination. Some have lived to even tell the tale of their encounter with it. Most starve or die from dehydration, and some even commit suicide from being pushed to the brink of insanity.

This Forbidden Forest is meant to test your mental and physical ability and be able to be loyal to the clan.

The test is mainly a skill of survival and students must survive 2 days in the 50 mile long forest. There are checkpoints so others can have a guarantee of making it so safety. Some, unfortunately don’t make it.

Why did the mage decide to learn magic instead of traditional combat?

The Mage didn’t get too much of a say actually, Alessia wanted to differentiate herself from her predecessors but didn’t wish to create political enemies for you in the future.  So when the Mage’s inherent magical talent showed itself,  Alessia made the decision and began to sponsor their learning.

Can you elaborate on Dorin’s evil alignment? 👀 Is evil meant to mean self-serving (where “good” means altruism), or is it violence, or is it comic book evil? Just curious because evil tends to mean exaggeratedly misanthropic, etc, and nuance can be lost!

Dorin’s evil alignment has a lot to do with how he views and interacts with other people.  General selfishness, a lack of sympathy/empathy, as well as a complete disregard for other people’s lives is the base reason why his alignment is evil.  

This usually manifests itself as ignoring those who need help or being excessively cruel to those around him.

Not sure if this is too spoiler-y or not but is the healer’s aversion to love caused by a failed relationship in the past or is it more of a circumstantial thing? Also love what you have so far and you’re amazing 💕

The Healer’s aversion is circumstantial. While technically in their current postilion within the Church doesn’t ban being in a committed relationship, their future within the organization requires that they aren’t.  So they tend to keep things short when it comes to their relationships.

He is a royal bastard (the technical kind, not the insult).

He has an older brother who is legitimate, and they get along well.  

Dorin often has trouble sleeping.

Nobody in the royal household is allowed to talk about it, but in his free time he gardens.

-He always smells like flowers due to his constant maintenance of a garden (not necessarily his garden, in the castle he just helped maintain the royal garden)

He handles the security/defense of Lucida.  He’s basically in an advisory role for military and defense matters (mostly minor border disputes until the start of the game).

I can’t remember his height at the moment.  But he’s tall, with grey eyes.  His hair is black and short, with loose curls.  He was raised as a warrior and it shows in his solid physique.
