♡ a/n: so i decided to post the chapters after i write them. this does mean that they'll posted far apart and not every other day like i originally intended. for those of you who don't already know, this series is pretty much the first three twilight books with my own twists hehe. it's going to be separated into three Acts. ACT 1: TWILIGHT

you miss arizona terribly. moving to the small town of forks in washington was something you never would have dreamed of. your wacko mom sent you to stay with your father for a while and start a new life while she went away with phil, her new husband. it had rained every single day since the moment your plane landed-- it was summer when you moved. you despise it here. summer was supposed to be hot, and you should have been going to the pool! you were going to get a lovely tan to show off for the new school year, but instead, you were stuck inside your girly room reading for the entire break.

though you must admit, when you first entered the shabby house filled with dingy furniture--(you could practically hear your mother's voice complaining), you hadn't expected to get so comfortable so quick. charlie, your dad, wasn't half bad. he's a cool and laid-back guy who didn't prod into your life and bug you as much as you thought he would. unexpectantly, your small black kitten lilith took a liking to him too. lilith is your little companion who you bring along anywhere. her fur's always decorated in cute pink bows so the two of you could match. in a way, she's your best (and now only) friend.

as you sit in a rusty old truck gifted to you by charlie, you bite the inside of your cheek, looking around the tarnished vehicle with a distasted frown on your gloss-covered pouty lips. you couldn't complain, of course, you really appreciated it. you've been wanting a car for forever... but it was so slow!

groaning at the speedometer, you realize that the maximum speed is 55. you sigh, deciding to stop nitpicking the truck considering it's the only one you've got. the rain pitter-patters on your windows along with your squeaky windshield wipers swiping the water off. you pull into your new school's parking lot where students were just beginning to arrive. you put the vehicle into park, but you don't get out right away.

you exhale as your manicured nails anxiously tap against the steering wheel. you miss your friends back home. you don't want to go here! everybody looks so dreadful. besides, you'd already spent the last two years sucking up to your teachers. all of that was down the drain now. and to make matters even worse, forks high school has an underwhelming amount of students: 357 kids-- well, 358 now. in this small town, everybody knows everybody, which means that everyone is going to know that you're an arizonian freak... maybe you're overreacting.

you bite your glossy lip hesitantly before grabbing your pink puffer tote and umbrella. you quickly jump out and slam the truck door shut. you hurriedly rush to the main building where you're greeted by a woman in a purple t-shirt, automatically making you feel overdressed in your denim skirt and pretty brandy melville shirt with a brown zippered jacket over it-- not to mention the sum of all your accessories. you close your umbrella and greet the woman back with a soft smile. she kindly hands you a map of the school and your assigned schedule. "your first class is in building three, room 3-104, dearie."

you nod and thank the lady for her help before opening your umbrella again to head to the building with a black "3" sloppily painted on the side. you open the door, stepping inside and shutting your umbrella once more before walking down the hall to your classroom, checking the number on your paper schedule to be sure. you arrive, your hand reaching for the doorhandle, taking a quick breath. you'd already gotten a few double takes in response to your girly appearance when you were strolling down the hallway. you hope no one bothers you about it.

the door opens creakily. the classroom is small and tight, almost suffocating. you hang up your coat on one of the hooks lined up against the wall. walking up to the teacher's desk, you hand him a late pass with your basic information. you prepare the words you're going to say when you're asked to introduce yourself. you aren't a social person, so maybe this'll be good for you! but the scruffy man grunts and points to an empty desk at the back of the room. oh. well, it'd be hard for people to judge your appearance in the back, so you can't say you're disappointed.

you kept your eyes down for most of the class, not bothering to scan the room and learn people's faces along with their names. the teacher had given you a reading list, but you'd already read everything before. shakespeare, bronte, faulker.. how boring! though it was also a comfort that you already knew everything and had nothing to worry about. suddenly, the bell rings-- not a satisfying chime like the one back home, more nasally and uncomforting. a short but brawny boy sitting in front of you turns around and brushes back his fluffy brown hair. "you're yn swan, aren't you?"

"uh-huh." you nod, looking up in small surprise. some people turned their heads to see why their friend was speaking to the weird girl from out of town. he hums contently. "where's your next class?" he asks, not even bothering to tell you his name. "oh, uhh.." you check your schedule before looking back up. "...government with jefferson. building six." his curious eyes brighten. "i'm headed to building four.. i could show you the way? i'm nate." the corner of your lips turn up. "that'd be really helpful, thank you." you smile in a friendly manner, nate smiling with you.

the two of you picked up your jackets and headed out into the rain, which had picked up heavily. as you walked, you noticed a few people lurking behind you-- almost as if they were eavesdropping nosily. nate clears his throat. "soo, this is pretty different from pheonix, huh?" he shoves his hands into his pockets as his head cocks towards you who's still looking down. "oh yeah, very."

"how often does it rain?"

"mm, three or four times a year."

"shit, what's that like?" he chuckles.

you shrug awkwardly. "sunny."

once you two reach your class, nate opens the door for you, a little over-helpfully. "well, good luck. maybe we'll see each other again in some other class." he said almost hopefully. you nod vaguely and head inside. the rest of the morning passed by in fast forward. your trig teacher was the only one who made you stand in front of your classmates to introduce yourself-- you stammered and tripped over your shoes on the way back to your seat.

in every subject, there was always at least one person who decided to be bold and chatty, asking you questions about living here in forks compared to pheonix. in all honesty, you just lied a lot. you didn't want to be that loser who hated something without really giving it a chance, so you repeated the same phrase every time someone asked how you were liking forks so far. "it's cool! this is what i needed, a change of atmosphere." one girl sat next to you in trig and french, a pale girl with a ginger ponytail. she was the chattiest of chatterboxes.

in trig, she turned to you abruptly, grabbing your hand. your eyes widened unexpectantly, but she spoke before you could. "hi! are you new here? i've never seen you before. wow, you're SO pretty!! i love your outfit, it's so cute. everyone normally dresses like they're homeless, but not you-- oh! my name is jessica, sorry, that was SO rude.."

she thoughtfully demanded she walk you to lunch, prattling about teachers and students as you walked to the cafeteria, but you didn't try too hard to keep up. she leads you towards a long table, full of her friends. she introduces you to every single one and you annoyingly forget all of their names as soon as she says them. you sit squished between all seven students, trying to keep up with the conversation when a certain group captures your attention.

they're sat in the corner of the cafeteria away from everyone else. there's four, but none of them spoke. they didn't bother to look anywhere else besides their table, so your eyes were free to roam. they all grabbed curiosity without even trying-- they're angelic. two boys and two girls. the girls look like polar opposites. one is tall with luscious golden hair, the type that'd make any girl furious with envy. the smaller one is chubby with long silky black hair. her eyes are big and doe-like. the boys seem to be twins, but you can easily tell the difference. the bigger one is wearing a blue zip-up sweater but still manages to look majestic. you notice he often messes with his red-dyed hair or nose ring. and then you shift your gaze to the other twin. he was the most beautiful out of them all. his small silver earrings shook as he moves his head to the side, clearly thinking about something. he has tattoos littering his arms, giving him a tough image.

at the same time, they're all very similar. every one of them is chalky pale, very pale. they all have dark eyes despite the difference in hair coloring. they also have dark shadows under their eyes, like they were suffering from many sleepless nights. you can't look away. they look perfect. inhumanly beautiful. the students at your table were still talking to you though they weren't exactly aware that you hadn't been listening for at least five minutes. "erm- jessica. who are they?" your words stop the conversation as the students' eyes follow your pointed finger. their eyes flicker over to the table before back to you within a second. jessica giggles almost nervously. "well, that's rosalie and madison filipowicz, and nicolas and matthew sturniolo. they all live with jimmy sturniolo and his wife." she lowered her tone so only people close by can hear.

you don't mind keeping your eyes on them, they're mesmerizing. "so, which are the sturniolos? the girls don't look related.."

jessica glances towards them again. "they're not. they were both adopted by dr. jimmy and his wife, marylou. nick and matt are twins obviously and they're the doctor's actual kids." you nod along and find your focus staying mostly on matthew. his long pale fingers slowly peel an orange, his eyes filled with boredom. you don't move your glance when you talk again. "have they always lived here?"

jessica replies in a voice implying that it should be obvious, "no, they moved here two years ago from alaska or some shit, i dunno.."

you're still examining them when matthew looks up directly at you. your eyes widen and turn away immediately filled with embarrassment. jessica noticed you eyeing him and grins. "matt doesn't date. bummer, 'cus he's totally gorgeous.. guess none of the girls here are good-looking enough for him. self-absorbed rich boy..." she mutters the last part under her breath and you wonder if he's turned her down before. you bite your lip to cover up your smile, then you look at him again. his face is turned away, but it looks like his cheek's lifted as if he were smiling too.

lunch went by fast and your next class is biology two. when you get to the room, you notice that all the black-topped lab tables are taken with partners-- except for one. right in the center, matthew from lunch sits by himself. you huff quietly and walk down the aisle to your teacher's desk to introduce yourself. and of course, he assigns you to the only free seat next to matt. when you're walking back to the table, you notice how he's become stiff and rigid in his chair. he looks at you with a strange expression, a furious expression.

you avoid eye contact, sitting down and dropping your bag on the floor next to you. matt readjusts himself so that he's leaning away from you, as far away as possible. you scoff silently, wondering what his problem is. maybe it was what happened at lunch? oh shit, he probably thinks you're a creep. your teacher begins a lecture on cellular anatomy, something you already did back home. you decide to take notes anyway, pulling out gel pens and highlighters.

you feel his eyes on you again. staring. criticizing. you don't care though. you perkily take your pretty notes and he'll just have to deal with the noises of uncapping and recapping highlighters. you glance down at his arm laying on the table close to you. it's pale and muscular. his hand's clenched into a tight fist and you can't help but wonder if it's because of you. nono, it is because of you. it's almost ten minutes later and he still hasn't relaxed his tense figure, so the annoyed clench must be your fault.

the class ends after what felt like forever. as the loud bell rings, matt abruptly sprints out of his seat with his belongings and rushes out the door. you exhale with a pout. why is he so mean? maybe you should've apologized for admiring him during the earlier period. you start piling your stuff into your pink bag, ignoring the hot tears rising and blurring your vision. infuriatingly, you cry for everything like a little baby. you pull your schedule out of your pocket, unfolding it to see your next class. last period is p.e? that sucks. not only are you terrible at anything physical, you're gonna go home a sweaty mess.

you make it to the girls' locker room and see jessica tying her bright red hair up into a tight ponytail. she notices you walking in and smiles brightly. "oh my gosh, hi yn!! what a coincidence you're here! i haven't seen you since lunch, feels like it's been hours-" as she begins to ramble, you choose a locker and load your jacket and purse inside. while she's talking, another girl comes up behind her, tapping her shoulder fast. "jess! chris is coming to pick up nate after school." she shrieks, clapping her hands together excitedly. jessica's eyes widen and her smile somehow grows wider.

you watch the both of them squeal, and wonder if they're talking about your chris, your best friend when you were younger and visited forks on holiday breaks. jessica catches your eye and calms down to explain. "christopher owen is the hottest guy you'll ever see! probably even better looking than matt- you remember, right? the guy i was showing you- yeah anyway, he lives in la push which totally sucks but his best friend goes here so sometimes he comes on his motorcycle to pick him up."

you nod along. "christopher owen? like.. brown hair blue eyes?" you realize how his face kind of reminds you of matthew and nicolas. but maybe your memory's just hazy. jessica's eyes widen like a cartoon. her friend grabs her hand, "holy shit, you know him?! you have to introduce us, pleaseee!!"

you shrug awkwardly. "oh, i dunno. i haven't seen him in a couple of years-" you're thankfully cut off when the coach walks in and blows his whistle to signal that class is starting. the two girls badger you as you walk out into the gym where a volleyball net is set up. ah great. you cringe just thinking about the so many ways you could get hurt.

forty-five minutes later, you only got hit on your head by the ball two times! that's a win. jessica and her friend make it to the locker room before anyone else, collecting their stuff and yours to then run back to where you're still not even out of the gymnasium yet. they grab both of your arms and drag you out of the building. jessica's friend lets go of your arm, shoving her hands into the back pockets of her jeans. "can i see your schedule?" she asks, holding her hand out. you hum, "sure, one sec.." you check your jacket pockets just to find them empty. "uh.." you mutter, looking through your bag.

"maybe you dropped it somewhere?" she suggests, peeking into your bag. you sigh and stop walking. "i have to get another one. when does the front office close?" you question hurriedly. "umm in a bit! go!! but be back quick, chris is gonna leave soon.." jessica whines at the last part. you hold onto your bag tightly and run to building one, the wind strongly blowing in your face along with little drops of rain. you swing the door open and see matthew standing in front of the receptionist's desk. you bite the inside of your cheek unpleasantly. he's arguing with the woman in a low attractive voice. it sounds like he's trying to trade sixth period biology to any other class... wait a damn minute.

your mouth opens into an 'o' with pinched eyebrows. he has biology with you. what a dick! he turns around annoyed and gives you a cold glare. he exhales and turns back to the receptionist. "nevermind. it's alright, thanks anyway." he waves his hand and storms out the door like earlier. your lip quivers but you blink back tiny tears, walking up to the desk. you explain the stupid situation, already beginning to show your irresponsibility. she prints a second schedule and hands it to you without a problem. "how was your first day?" she toothily smiles.

you purse your lips. "not bad" is all you say before you're waving to the sweet lady and walking out the door. you see a small crowd formed in the parking lot and catch sight of jessica and her friend with hands on their mouths. you curiously walk faster to where they stand. you see a big intimidating motorcycle revving up to which the students cheer. wow. you weren't wrong, chris looks identical to nick and matt. however, you fold your arms with a big grin spreading on your face. your childhood friend sits on the bike, his fluffy hair blowing in the wind. jessica latches onto your arm, "talk to himm!" she urges. you suck your teeth.

"why aren't you wearing a helmet??" you call out maternally. some people turn around, but you keep looking at chris' reaction when his eyes go big. "IS THAT MY- holdon man." he starts but slaps nate's shoulder as he gets off his bike. chris chuckles, observing your face. he's big, much bigger than you expected. his arms are large and lean in his black tank top-- gosh, he must be cold. he comes up to you, ruffling your hair with his big hand. "i'm not wearing a helmet 'cus it'll fuck up my hair. what the fuck are ya doin' here? it's been so long!"

you giggle, giving him a hug. he pats your back somewhat awkwardly as the small crowd begins to decrease as people get into their cars. jessica and her friend hang around and squeal girlishly at the physical contact, but you ignore them. "i moved here over the summer!- wow, you're tall." you look up at him, cheeks starting to hurt from all the smiling. he kisses your head in a friendly manner and pulls away from the hug. "yeah, justin says i'm gettin' too big to live with." he grins playfully. you like how his face didn't change that much compared to the rest of his body. he still has the same cheesy smile that was always plastered on his face.

"well, how d'ya feel bein' here? actually, my bad n/n-" you let out a small giggle at the familiar nickname that only he was allowed to call you. "-i gotta take this punk home. but i'll stop by your place soon, promise." he gives you another quick hug before patting your head jokingly. you laugh, waving his hand off. "okay, bye!!" you wave as he gets onto his motorcycle, nate clinging onto his back. he gives you a small wink and drives off.

"i didn't know chris was a triplet.." you mutter. jessica happens to pick it up. "oh yeah, but i guess they're not really close. they never talk to each other when chris comes here. actually.. i don't think i've ever seen them all together." she quickly shrugs it off, changing the subject. interesting, chris doesn't even have the same last name as matt and nick. you shake away these thoughts, who cares? not any of your business anyway. you catch matthew getting into the driver's seat of a white volvo a few cars down from yours. he eyes you for a quick second before pulling out and driving away. you chuckle in disbelief. dick.

Hey Charlie!

Yeeeeeeaaaaahhh I saw it in passing and I KNOW people come here having hope and such, but I'll be brutally honest... I don't think it's going to happen, at least not for a LONG time. After S4, both Ben and Martin seemed done with Sherlock AND both have VERY busy schedules with both individual and Marvel projects, so yeah. I dunno. At this point though, I think it would be wise to either retcon S4, make it retirement, or just leave it alone.

But I feel like the odd duck out here and will probably have all of y'all hate me, but... I really don't think they SHOULD continue on, just leave well enough alone. S4 ended without a cliffhanger and I reallly do think it's because Mofftiss got bored of the series and just... didn't want to leave it hanging (even though S4 brought on so many more plotholes).

I've talked about my thoughts on a new season here. But a movie and acting like S4 wasn't the shitshow it was? Yikes. And yeah I was confused about the movie quote too, but I think they meant like a modern-movie-length, which is about 2 to 3 hours nowadays. And if that happens, I'd be happy if they corrected S4. But wishful thinking.

Again, I think well enough should be left alone.

Sorry, Charlie, if that wasn't the answer you were hoping for, but I don't want to give people false hopes. I'd LOVE for Johnlock to happen but yeah at this rate, I don't think BBC Sherlock WILL be Johnlock.

For those who have ZERO clue: Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are dark "comedy" shows for an adult audience, created by Vivienne "Vivziepop" Medrano, originally airing on YouTube. Helluva Boss is currently in its second season, while we have yet to find out anything else on Hazbin Hotel, as it is now a part of A24 and BentoBox. They center on the same setting, Hell, but have two different plot lines.

Hazbin Hotel is redemption focused, led by Princess Charlie Morningstar, the daughter of Lucifer. She wants to help the sinners in Hell become good and go up to heaven to avoid the yearly Exterminartion, aka a Purge. Helluva Boss, however, is about a murdering business called I.M.P., with Blitz, Millie, Moxxie, and Loona, going up to Earth with a grimoire that is provided by Stolas of the Ars Goetia, a prince. So here we go, into the Depths and reasoning of this post: the Hatedom. So lo and behold, my answer below.

On one hand, yes. The Hazbin Hatedom is a bit over the top. Yes, people are assholes. However, the Vivziepop stans who don't want to admit their precious senpai Vivziepop has done some pretty fucked up shit in the past. The hate can be unnecessary, but you know what else can be unnecessary? The toxic stans. I follow #vivziepop for certain analysis portrayals and criticism, or just general news. Sometimes people are tiresome. This is no exception.

I am falling out of the fandom because it can be toxic. I enjoy most of the characters, but other than that? Helluva Boss's current writing is NOT good. At all. The latest episode irked me to no end. I'm unimpressed with Seeing Stars. I am not very happy that they are forcing Stolitz down our throats as an "uwu pwease wove us" type of bullshit ship. I would much rather prefer Blitz and Stolas to be friends. I wished Stolas had his pilot personality and not the "uwu im a gay, tragic prince with a shitty wife, feel bad for me" bird we know in the series.

Moxxie in the latest episode is bitchy. He got on my nerves and was pissed at Millie being happy. This girl deserves more screentime (and I'm glad she got some of it) but seriously...Millie is always there for Moxxie, and Moxxie needs to reciprocate.

They made Stella seem stupid, when in reality, and if written properly, she can be a cunning and calculating villain with her brother. We've yet to see how Octavia and Stella interact, but I'm unsure.

I have definitely tried to keep my mouth shut as much as I could on this matter, because when I finally openly admit how I feel, it's not a pretty thing, especially with something that I'm so passionate about. Animation takes time, writing takes time, scripting, acting, everything takes so much time, and this is wasted potential. We can have so much better than just a fan-ficcy type rom-com, dark humor, sexual humor schtick. It's getting annoying, and I fear the worst when it comes to Hazbin Hotel.

You know what ALOTO has NONE of? The "Predatory Lesbian" stereotype.

Too often in wlw media there's this stereotype of a lesbian (usually butch) who has this bravado, "I could treat you better than your boyfriend could" or "I could turn you" type of energy. While some girls might see this as sexy and confident, I see it as predatory and uncalled for.

But in ALOTO, they avoid this stereotype perfectly! A few examples:

Jo and Maybelle We see from the very beginning that Jo is fawning over Maybelle, especially with her "What's your type?" "Blondes" response:

Is she being flirty? Yeah! But from then on, she's just as respectful and playful with Maybelle as she is with the rest of the girls, and never makes a move or does anything to make Maybelle uncomfortable. Maybelle never felt threatened by Jo, or even with the reality that she might be gay after all. In 1x07 she says, "And so what if she's queer?" And reminds Shirley that above all else, Jo is their friend.

2. Lupe & Carson 1x01 scene

In 1x01 when they're at the bar, Lupe and Carson are small-talking about running away from home. Lupe comments on her haircut, Carson says, "I don't think I look that different, though." Lupe gives her a knowing smile and backs away, saying "Eh...you kinda do."

In MY opinion, she's appreciating her haircut in a way that says, "You look kinda hot now," but is perfectly nice and doesn't do anything other than compliment her. (The fact that it just adds to Carson's Gay Awakening isn't Lupe's fault, LOL.)

3. Shirley's Perspective

Shirley is used as the traditional/fearful view of gay people, the "You're a lesbian and I'm a woman, therefore you MUST be in love with me!!" perspective. But the story is great about using the other characters to nonchalantly point out how dumb that is (her 1x07 convo with Maybelle, Carson's "That's not how it works" comment, lol). They don't make it into a huge political statement, they literally just look homophobia in the face and go "WHO TF CARES"

4. Honorable Mention: Carson & Greta

Carson & Greta is obviously a huge topic, but I just want to point out that I don't believe Greta was acting predatory or pursuing Carson in any way. She only acted on signals that she believed Carson was giving her, and was brave (stupid?) enough to act on them.

Even when Greta brings up Charlie in conversation, she's never bitter or disparaging about him, other than to say that he looks boring lol. No man-hating lesbians here, people!

ANYWAY, I just love that the girls have nothing but respect for each other as friends & teammates, and that their sexuality is only deemed a "threat" to external forces (except for Shirley, who again has an awesome self-realizing arc in that regard.)

Childhood TV shows? (cartoons, disney/nick sitcoms, etc.)

THAT WILL LIKE GIANT POST BECAUSE I WATCHED THOUSENDS OF CARTOONS, SITCOMS AND MUCH MORE XDDD

Long story short, I didn't have any friends in my childhood and usually I was bullied physically and mentally at elementary school so yeee- That is why I spend 50% of the time in my home looking non stop at the TV screen and watching whatever i found (rest of the time i was playing with my littlest pet shops and monster high dolls making cults, apocalypse, and cities. I LOVED making city for my pet shops and rule them all >:D)

So I will tell about the most important ones for me, because this post would never end if I start talking about EVERYTHING (and won't talk about movies, because it's about what children channels was showing.)

In my kindergarten era my favorite cartoons was mainly on one channel BBC for kids. It was my gold, everything i needed after long day in kindergarten where children were beating shit out of me. And lately I rewatched Numberjacks, Charlie and Lola (funfact my 20y/o dog is named after her older bro XDD), Big coock and Little cook, Teletubbies, The Koala Brothers, etc. (i watched everything what was showned at that time on BBC) This shithead from Numberjack still makes me scared.

He is a demon from my past.

But my parents because they doesn't gave a shit what i was watching my top 1 kindergarden cartoon was original Ben 10 and Lady Gaga music videos (And I'm not even fucking kidding, my family has videos that i could sit for an hours and just watch poker face over and over again.)

And i also rewatched it lately and found out that most of the talking roles are shared between Ratchet and Optimus polish VAs (Jarosław Boberek and Dariusz Odija)

Later we got more channels on our old TV so I started watching channels like Nick, Disney channel and Disney XD (we had cartoon network, etc. before so yeah). And for that time Hannah Montana was perfect for me i truly love it. I loved this show. The same with ICarly (fuck Dan Schneider, fuck paramount and nick that was hiding him and other p3does for years, they are acting like disney but worse) BUT there were also sitcoms for boys, and if you know me I LOVE MEDIA FOR TEEN BOYS. After Hannah Montana stopped showing up, I really felt in love in I’m in the Band, Zeke and Luther, Kickin’ It, ESPACIALLY Crash & Bernstein, because it was mupped show but cooler for me at the time XD

And after it my golden era begin, because we got even more channels and I could watch for first time show that will change my life forever, thanks to this show I'm with you guys rn and start to draw:

My first ever episode of lego ninjago was the episode where 1ep of 3 season, and it got me so hard XDD and at the time I cried me when I was 10 I cried like little baby when Zane died and was this show-don't-tell ending with Pixal. It was everything I needed... and it made me nerd also XDDD At the time i start to watching Teletoon+ like crazy!!! I watched MLP there and LPS too! And I'm so pissed of on myself, because TFP was shown there to but I didin't want to watched, because since i was youngling I hated Bayverse and was scared of their faces, so fuck you Micheal Bay, I almost missed the best TF show ever because of you :))

But also worth to talk about is The Amazing world of Gumball, oh boy I love it the same as Lego Ninjago and Nexo Knights!!! It was spiderman universum for me, when i was young, I watched since it premiered to the very end and even as a young teen I appreciated the animation and creativity that Gumball was showing us. Since today I think that animation and ideas are just pure genius and I can not even tell one thing bad about it like about Total Drama (1-3 season lives rent free in my head still, that is why I'm danganronpa fan) XDD

And now we are getting to second most necessary canon even in my life. The March 16th of 2015 first episode of polish Transformers robots in disguise was showed and it was fun for me! Fun enough that I recommended it to my friend that I created this au with, and she told me that it was cool too! And then years has passed and in 2022 she rewatched because she was bored and discovered Transformers Prime, she was so amazed of it that she begged me for MOUNTH to watch it! And guess how she convinced me to watch it??? XD she showed me that one ep that Starscream was running with KO, because zombie Silas was hunting them XDD (I'm spoiler proof, so I wasn't angry that she showed me ep from 3 season). AAAAnd that is how it started and that is why I'm with you rn and drawing transformers stuff for more than 2 years

So Rid15 literally get me into this awesome fandom!!!

And then I started using internet to the state, that I stopped watching TV at all so yeah... (i mean i was using internet since 2010 when I was 6, and using school computer to play dress up games, but yk what i mean) AND ofc there was much much much more cartoons and shows i watched BUT like I told you there is too much of it XDD

As a funfact my sister forced me to watch naruto and sailor moon in very young age, so I never watched fully and to the age of 13, because of her I HATED anime XDDD

Rohan Mac Uáid Introduction

Damn Avis, I see what got you interested in this young man 👀

Here’s a basic introduction to Rohan's character! I know I wanted to give him an actual drawing but I lost the motivation to finish it so scrapped it (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥｀) But here I think this is better for his first official post. I’ll be working on his bio along with Avis' own… eventually. You know when I get the motivation to write. But at the moment I got Yuna's redesign to work on and Charlie's Cardverse drawing to finish _(:3 」∠)_ Keep a look out for those!

Rohan Mac Uáid (Nov. 5th) is a pureblood Irish Wizard. He is the third child and youngest son of Eoghan and Nadia Mac Uáid. His older brothers are Jaxon and Tomás, and his younger sister is Elise.

A serious and cunning young man, some people are intimidated around him due to his nobility. His authoritative personality and fierce temper makes it difficult to befriend him. He cares little about status, be it blood or class, and old traditions. He judges people solely based on their achievements, skills, dedication and loyalty more so than intelligence.

Despite his reputation, he treasures his friends and will treat them with generosity. He believes in and cares for each of them, even the ones he doesn't necessarily agree with on a personal level. He's close to Tierney Ní hlorua as they seem to instinctively understand one another. Rohan also treats Giles MacTraynor as a trusted right hand and usually has him keep Avis company if she heads to Hogsmeade. Wren Serpen acts as Rohan's most trusted confidant and the two are usually seen eating honey whiskey cakes frequently. He is also fond of the various arts such as poetry, music, muggle military tactics, and surprisingly sweet pastries. His favorite is the fire whiskey tarts Avis makes.

His mature and serious persona contrasts with Avis’ sweet and gentle one. While he is also a caring lover, his words of caution are not always appreciated by Avis. Even so, he thinks of her dearly and will not hesitate to come to her rescue.

Contrary to his hot-headed and egotistic brothers, Rohan is a patient, collected, and diligent individual. After discovering his family have sided with Rockwood, he initially doubts his role as a Mac Uáid, knowing that he could not be like his father and brothers. Especially when Rockwood needs Avis’ ancient magic for whatever plans he has. To protect his future family, he strives to only take calculated risks and bides his time for when he puts an end to his former family. To completely rid himself of his family’s history, he changes the name Mac Uáid to its anglicized form McQuaid.

1. Dev Patel. Our love affair goes back to Skins. I didn’t need the Lion hair moment, but oh do I appreciate it!

2. Cillian Murphy. The amount of time I spent considering which gif to pick. Special mention of Tommy Shelby.

3. Al Pacino. The man of the hour. A separate post on my favorite films is forthcoming. But special shout out at this to Dog Day Afternoon.

4. Eric Mun. The fact that I can’t find that one gif from Discovery of Love is a crime.

5. Joe Gilgun. Joe in absolutely everything. But particularly Joe in Brassic, the best show on television. I am convinced if this was on Netflix it would be a beloved as Derry Girls.

6. Matt Murdock. Love Charlie Cox, but this really is more about his role on Netflix Daredevil. He’s such a mess and he cares so much.

7. Pacey Witter. Love Joshua Jackson, but in my heart there is only Pacey. There has never been a better teen soap character. His flaws are obvious and yet they are never what he thinks they are. He’s complex. You always know how he’s going to act for better and for worse. This gives him a sort of a tragic quality that can be absolutely destroying.

8. Fleabag. Funny, mean, desperate, romantic, loving, fierce, fragile.

9. Dana Scully. Greatest. Of. All. Time.

10. Mo Salah. Literally changed the course of my life. YNWA.

Reading This Week 2024 #20

Following up my midweek catch up, I shall now attempt to return to regularly scheduled book discussions! I'm thinking I should try and post more about what I'm reading as I'm reading it, like random thoughts or quotes that stood out to me? Finished:

Living Alone by Stella Benson Finished this mostly while riding the bus into the city to visit a used bookstore, it's about a little town of English people who's exceedingly normal lives are interrupted by a quirky witch during WWI. reading this with a tumblr-trained eye for queer and neurodivergence coding was honestly a blast, and I'd love to see like a modern adaptation that leans into that, and like, cast the witch as an autistic trans woman, I think it could be very pleasing and work very well (the whole point is that witches and wizards are kinda young souls who don't really get how they are expected to act socially but are delighted to participate anyway when people include them. manic pixie dream people but as written in 1919)

True Biz by Sara Nović Finished this since my update. Disappointed with the ending, I wish it was more willing to imagine radical possibilities for the future, success for direct action, etc. Instead it leaves all of the characters' central conflicts throughout the book unresolved. Like it felt like it ended with 1/3 of the story left untold. That's not to say I didn't really enjoy it. I found basically all of the characters charming, Austin and Charlie's budding romance was sweet but not saccharine, and I also really appreciate that a disabled teenage girl just, like, has a sex life, and its not made an enormous deal out of. And the way this novel handled dialogue happening in multiple languages (English and transliterated ASL), with gaps in understanding between different sets of people, was really clever visually and wonderful to read. Worth checking out for the middle, if not the end.

Started/Ongoing:

Tomie by Junji Ito just started this in preparation for Shelved By Genre doing an Ito section this summer. I'm pretty far in (64% according to kindle) and might end up finishing it today or tomorrow. Unsettling, particularly for how it engages with misogyny and domestic/intimate partner violence, unsure how I feel about how it handles that at this time but I can really see why Ito is regarded as a master of his craft

Reading Plans: didn't make any progress with The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet this week because I was catching up on Podcasts, but once I've done that it will probably become my crochet listening in prep for June sff bookclub this week I went to a used book store and picked up a lot of Samuel R. Delany's Nevèrÿon stuff, some Anne McCaffrey, and one random older fantasy written by a woman all of which I'm looking forward to reading and just yesterday I talked to some older fantasy fans to get recommendations for books with a significant amount of sexual violence for the sake of getting more source texts for my thesis written in the fall that I can read over the summer. i guess keep a look out as I pick those books up and analyze them?

Season 2 Episode 2: Family

All abroad the angst train!! It was really interesting to see the different types of family and their parenting styles - not just Nick and Charlie's! I adore the fact that my faves Taoelle are getting a good amount of time dedicated to developing them and their relationship. Also we get to meet some new friends, Sahar, Felix and Naomi!! David and Ben are also here, being pricks as always. 🙄

Lil funny sidenote: the GSCE scenes gave me such intense flashbacks to my own - can't believe it's been almost decade since I've had mine 😂

Now onto the Spoilers:

- I really appreciated seeing all the different parents and the transitional montage of Meet The Parents was a stroke of genius. It was a really cool and quick way to show how everyone was progressing in school and personally

- As I said in this post, while Jane was a little harsh and could have explained her reasoning better, she was right to do that. It's just the boys acting like the end of the world. Which as a teenager I remember what it feels like. But do not demonise Jane for doing what is best for her kid. It's not like they can't see each other at school or text. She might be the strictest parent on the show but yet this was still pretty mild compared to what I've gone through.

- I do think it's sweet that Charlie does The Most to try to meet up with Nick and it's very realistic in terms of teenage shenanigans. I do wish he had just talked to his mom. Now he's gotta deal with the consequences of his actions.

- Ben and David,,, where do I even start?? These two need to leave Nick the hell alone.

- They managed to give David an even more douchey hairstyle than in the comics. My head started throbbing the moment he came on screen. The climax of the episode with the Nelsons was done really well. David is really such a prick and everyone acted their asses off. Thank you to Sarah for calling out her shitty son, I bet she has never wanted to throw hands with him more than in that moment.

- As for Ben, he needs to stop starting shit with Nick in Study Hall and leave Imogen the hell alone (I wish she would listen to Nick). I know I shouldn't hate on a child but by god is Ben a demon.

- On to new friends: Sahar is the cutest person in the world!! I love her so much and can't wait to see more of her soon

- Felix and Naomi!! So glad Alice decided to write in new characters. They are both so cool and I'm glad Elle will have new friends in art school.

- Though this does bring in angst for Taoelle and I am not complaining cos it's done so well and isn't toxic. Hella realistic and it just made my heart burst they got a huge amount of time as the B plot this episode. The fact that it eventually pushed Tao to admit to the boys that he likes her!!

- I also LOVED seeing their parents. Tang Xu is just such a wholesome mom and very different from your typical Asian parent. I loved that Alice turned that trope on it's head. I really adored seeing more of Tao and his relationship with his mom. We also got hear more about his dad! I love love that Tang saw parallels between her relationship and Taoelle - what a cutie

I cannot wait to see all of this progress over the season. Overall, while not so much of a comfort ep, the angst was top tier!! I love all of them so much and can't wait for things to get better

Heartstopper is the most accurate representation of teenagers and British High schools I've ever seen:

The age casting, the cringey teenagers, wearing clothes multiple times, social media, lives revolving around a school schedule, even how everyone acts around Harry and his mates

No one knows who they are or what's best, but they're still treated as humans with complex personalities

It's hard to appreciate representation when you can't relate to the characters at all, and the only thing you have in common is your sexuality, race, disability, etc.

So Nick being a 16 year old bisexual who's a bit of a dumbass and doesn't know who he is (and the actor actually looks 16) is the most represented I've ever felt in media

ok so back in like 2014 i watched supernatural for a solid 3 years until they killed kevin and charlie and i got bored of the bmol storyline. now im here again let’s not talk about it. BUT during this time i accumulated a Lot of fic and in the past two months i’ve gone through all 213 of my bookmarks and gone through like every rec list made after s12 in order to read fic set during every specific season while i rewatch the show. because im insane <3 im on s8 rn and wanted to share my list of favourites from each season so far as well as my favourite aus ! they’re all generally nsfw so minors be careful, and also check the warnings ! and i will update this when i finish s15 <3

s4 cas ends up in the body of cas in 6x20. fucking life-ruining.

this is a really heartbreaking look at dean’s headspace near the end of s6 and throughout s7, and it’s really wonderful with a hopeful ending.

redemption road by a whole bunch of people (652k, virtual season, explicit)

oh boy. ok. know ur herstory ! this was written from 2011 to 2012 and it is thee s7 fic, a virtual season written by 17 fans all together. it’s very very long and it suffers sometimes from having being written a decade ago, but im making my way through it right now and it still fucking holds up. i really do recommend reading at least some of it, you can stop around halfway through and you should be fine.

season 8***

exploration of cas when naomi forces him to kill copies of dean and then his perspective in goodbye stranger.

The DPS: COVID edition

🎭Neil🎭: My boy spent his quarantine being productive. He added a bunch of random special skills to his acting resume including but not limited to: Tuba, modern dance, and a bunch of fun accents and dialects. He was pretty serious abt following COVID regulations and posted “wear ur mask <3” on his story plenty.

🪴Todd🪴: He rly missed Neil and his buddies during quarantine, but he followed regulations like a good citizen. He spent his time writing letters to his friends but in a pen-pal aesthetic-y kind of way since this is modern day. Like his letters all look super nice and he sent them stickers and shit.

🎷Charlie🎷: Mmmm he wore his mask but he did not social distance. Not in a “COVID is a hoax” kind of way, he just really values his social life and would rather not have to spend all his time indoors with his parents.

💕Knox💕: Anti masker (sorry) probably got COVID because he refused to take the vaccine. Argued with Meeks and Neil about it.

🪐Meeks🪐: My boy Stephen Meeks is an educated king. Made sure everyone was masked up and vaccinated. (except Knox RIP.) He spent his quarantine taking a break from smart stuff (as he should he deserves rest!) He watched trash TV, hung out with the family, and read some books just for fun.

🕹Pitts🕹: Pitts took every precaution and was super safe but somehow ended up catching COVID lmao. His mom was definitely the type to enforce lots of family walks and bonding time during quarantine. I feel like his mom would also be the type to put those mommy timers on his phone so he had to turn it off at like 9 pm so F in the chat for Pitts. 

🕰Cameron🕰: I feel like Cameron would have really overbearing parents that take COVID super seriously (as they should) and they’re super-duper in his business. His whole thing is respecting authority so he listens to everything they say though. They’ve got him double masking, following the proper precautions, etc.

📖Keating📖: He’s a teacher so he got the vaccine before most people, he takes this shit seriously (duh) He bought one of those Rachel Ray cookbooks and spent quarantine learning how to cook. He’s not very good and he knows it, but his wife pretends to love it which he appreciates.
